Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an arrangement for a device for a floor drain arranged in the vicinity of a wall.Such floor drains are generally used in showers of the same floor type, wherein often gutter-shaped drain bodies are used. Up to now, for creating a shower of the same floor, it is necessary for a shower plate or a shower board to be equipped with a multi-sided gradient toward the outlet. The same applies in the case of a configuration with a gradient line. In the case of a drain in the middle of the shower area, a so-called central drain, four downslope areas are generally formed. In the case of a run-off close to the wall, either three or four downslope regions are worked out. In the case of three downgrade regions, the first region is located on the side opposite the wall. The two further regions are arranged to the left and right of the channel-shaped outlet body in the longitudinal direction of the latter. Occasionally, there is also a short, fourth gradient region between the channel body and the wall.It has proven to be problematic in this case that the formation of a plurality of gradient regions in the screed or in a shower plate causes a high manual or mechanical outlay. In addition, adapting the tile level to the various gradient situations is demanding. An arrangement of the type mentioned at the beginning is known from DE 20 2011 051 047 U1. The arrangement described therein comprises a device having a horizontal leg and a vertical leg. In the horizontal leg an elongated recess is provided with a central discharge opening, the bottom of which is inclined to guide waste water to the discharge opening. Floor tiles are applied to the horizontal leg during assembly. The vertical leg is attached to a wall and largely covered with wall tiles.A further arrangement of a device for a floor drain arranged in the vicinity of a wall is known from EP 2 113 614 A1. The arrangement described therein comprises a device which is substantially in the form of a cuboidal block having an inclined upper surface. In the upper surface, an outflow opening is provided approximately in the middle, which is partially covered by a cover. Floor tiles may be applied to the top surface and to the cover during assembly.A further arrangement of a device for a floor drain arranged in the vicinity of a wall is known from U.S. Pat. No. 5,911,518. The arrangement described therein comprises a device which is partly installed in the wall and partly in the floor. The device has a horizontal leg and a vertical leg. The vertical leg is integrated into the wall structure. Floor tiles rest on the horizontal leg in such a way that the wall tiles end above the floor tiles arranged on the horizontal leg.DE 20 2012 103 906 U1 discloses a shower tray arrangement having a wall or front wall having a cavity, a tray body and a drain device which is arranged in the region of the wall or front wall and which is connected to the tray body, wherein the tray body extends into the wall or front wall and wherein the drain device is connected to a drain opening formed in the tray body. The problem underlying the present invention is to provide an arrangement of the type mentioned at the beginning which simplifies the assembly of a floor drain arranged in the vicinity of a wall. This is achieved by an arrangement of the type mentioned at the beginning with the characterizing features of claim 1. The dependent claims relate to preferred embodiments of the invention.According to claim 1, it is provided that the device has an L-shaped cross section, wherein the device comprises only the first and the second leg, and that the device is arranged in the connection region between a floor provided with floor tiles and a wall provided with wall tiles of a humidity chamber in such a way that the tile-side edge of the upper side of the second leg forms the extension of the upper side of the floor tiles and the surface of the first leg forms the extension of the upper side of the vertical wall tiles. The device according to the invention is inserted between wall tiles applied to the wall and floor tiles arranged with a gradient. The invention offers the handman and shower plate manufacturers the possibility of having to use only a one-sided gradient. This gradient can be arranged on the side of the device facing away from the wall. This reduces the effort involved in screed and shower plate production. In addition, the work for producing the tile level in the region of the various changes in gradient is dispensed with.It can be provided that the device comprises more than one upper surface which, in the installed state of the device, are inclined with respect to the horizontal, so that the water can flow to the opening via the inclined upper surfaces. In particular, the plurality of surfaces inclined relative to the horizontal in the installed state of the device can have different slopes from one another or the device can have a multiple gradient contour on its upper side. The device has, at least in sections, a substantially angular cross section. In this way, the tile-side edge of the upper side of the second leg forms the extension of the upper side of the floor tiles and the surface of the first leg forms the extension of the upper side of the vertical wall tiles. It is provided in particular that the device is more extended in a first direction than in a second and a third direction which are perpendicular to the first direction and to one another, wherein the first direction in the installed state of the device is parallel to the connecting line of the base and wall in the region of the drain and the third direction corresponds to the vertical. In particular, the opening for the passage of water into the floor drain can extend in the first direction. The device can thus be designed as a narrow, low angle-shaped part which can be installed in the connection region between the wall and the floor of a space between the floor and / or wall covering and the drain. Despite its possibly small dimensions in the transverse direction, the device according to the invention can effectively reduce the outlay on labour or production for the screed or a shower plate. It is possible that the at least one inclined upper surface or one of the inclined upper surfaces has a gradient in the first or in the second direction in the position of use with respect to the horizontal. Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that the at least one inclined upper surface or one of the inclined upper surfaces has a gradient in the first and the second direction in the use position with respect to the horizontal, wherein this surface is configured in particular as a free-form surface. The plurality of different slopes formed in the prior art on the screed or in a shower plate or a shower board can thus be formed at least to a large extent on the device according to the invention. It is possible for the device to have an upper surface, in particular a surface running all around in a U-shape, which has a constant height on its side facing the outer or a floor covering in the installed position, and in particular also has no gradient. This surface, which extends around it in a U-shape, for example, can thus represent a connection for floor tiles arranged around the device, wherein the working of the tile level on the device is very simplified due to the constant height. It may be provided that the device comprises a cover which partially covers the opening. It can be provided here that the cover forms a slot-shaped outlet opening with the first leg or vertical leg in the installed state and / or that the cover has at least one outlet opening. By forming the outlet opening between the first leg and the cover, the outlet opening is reduced to a narrow, hardly visible gap for the observer, which gap is located in the connecting region of the wall and the base.It may be provided that the device is substantially formed in one piece or comprises a first part provided with the opening and at least one second part which can be attached to the first part for extension in the first direction. Here, substantially one-piece means the first part provided with the inclined upper surface and the opening plus, if appropriate, a cover for reducing the outflow opening. The width of the device can also be adapted with the parts serving for extension to very wide showers of the same floor.Further features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. Furthermore, Cartesian coordinate systems are drawn in some of the figures for simpler orientation.FIGS. 1 and 2 show an arrangement according to the invention with a device 1 in the installed state. The device 1 is installed in the connection area between a floor 2 and a wall 3 of a wet chamber. The device 1 extends parallel to the connecting line of the base 2 and the wall 3 in a first direction, which is denoted by X in FIG. 1.The device 1 has, at least in sections, a substantially angular cross section. Thus, it comprises a first leg 4 which is substantially vertical in the installed state and a second leg 5 which is substantially horizontal in the installed state, FIG. 2 shows that wall tiles 6 rest on the first leg 4 from above in the installed state and that floor tiles 7 rest against the second leg 5 from the right in FIG. 2 in the installed state.FIG. 2 furthermore shows that the floor tiles 7 have a gradient in the Y direction or towards the wall. This gradient can continue on the surface of the second leg 5, so that water which arises in the moist space can flow to a slot-shaped opening 8 indicated in FIG. 1. In particular, the tile-side edge of the upper side of the second leg 5 forms the extension of the upper side of the floor tiles 7.FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of a device of an arrangement according to the invention, in which, in addition to a first L-shaped part 9, two L-shaped second parts 10, 11 are provided, which can extend the first part 9. The parts 9, 10, 11 are connected to one another by connecting pieces 12 which can be inserted into dovetail-shaped receptacles 13 on the underside of the second legs 5 of the parts 9, 10, 11. FIGS. 10 and 12 show that the cross section of a connecting piece 12 corresponds to the cross section of the dovetail-shaped receptacle 13.The connecting pieces 12 each have an glued or injected fleece on their underside. Alternatively, the underside of the connectors 12 could also be provided with a mineral or polymer coating to form an adhesive bridge for the tile adhesive. In a central region of the upper side of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 of the device 1, the opening 8 is arranged. In the installed position, it extends substantially in the X direction and through the second leg 5 downward or in the Z direction (see FIGS. 4 and 8 ). Through the opening 8, waste water can enter a drain installed below the device 1.The upper side of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 of the device 1 in the installed position has different sections or surfaces 14, 15, 16, 20. A first, U-shaped encircling surface 14 extends horizontally in the installation position or is not inclined with respect to the horizontal (in this respect see FIGS. 4 and 6 to 8 ). The first surface 14 extends along the front edges and along the front edge of the second leg 5 and is in particular designed as a strip about 5 mm wide. Two second upper surfaces 15 of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 extend as narrow strips, for example 5 mm wide, adjacent to the vertical leg in each case from the end-face sections of the first U-shaped encircling surface 14 to the opening 8 (see FIGS. 4 and 7 and 8 in this respect). The second upper surfaces 15 are each inclined in the X direction toward the opening 8, so that the water on the second surfaces 15 is conducted inward from the edges of the first part 9 or of the device 1 toward the opening 8.Two third upper surfaces 16 of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 are arranged as edge-side noses which are narrow in the X direction at the ends of the opening 8 at the end sides with respect to the X direction (see FIGS. 3 and 5 ). The third surfaces 16 extend inward in the Y direction in the region of the opening 8 from the first, U-shaped circumferential surface 14 (see FIGS. 3, 5 and 8 in this respect). These surfaces 16 each have a recess 17 in which a web 18 of a cover 19 can engage (see in this respect FIG. 8 and FIGS. 13 to 15 ). By the engagement of the web 18 in the recess 17, a positive positioning of the cover 19 in the first part 9 is achieved. The cover 19 forms with the first leg 4 or vertical legs in the installed state a slot-shaped outlet opening 21 (see FIGS. 1 and 4 ) which opens into the opening 8, through which the water can flow off to the outlet (not shown) arranged below the device. The third surfaces 16 and the cover 19 are shaped such that the top side of the cover 19 in the installed position is inclined in the Y direction towards the slot-shaped outlet opening 21 so that the water can flow via the cover 19 into the slot-shaped outlet opening 21 and through this into the opening 8 (see FIG. 8 ).Two fourth upper surfaces 20 of the second, substantially horizontal leg 5 of the first part 9 each extend between the first and second surfaces 14, 15 towards the slot-shaped outlet opening 21 and towards the cover 19 respectively (see FIGS. 4 and 7 ). The fourth surfaces 20 are designed as free-form surfaces and are inclined both in the X direction and in the Y direction toward the slot-shaped outlet opening 21.The device 1 or the first part 9 of the device 1 preferably has a length in the X direction of 100 mm to 2500 mm.The device 1 or the first part 9 of the device 1 preferably has a width in the Y direction of 10 mm to 250 mm. The device 1 or the first part 9 of the device 1 preferably has a height in the Z direction of 10 mm to 250 mm.The device 1 or the first part 9 of the device 1 thus has a substantially greater extension in its longitudinal direction, which corresponds to the X direction in the figures, than in its transverse direction in the Y direction or than in the vertical Z direction. The L-shaped parts 9, 10, 11 can consist of metal and / or plastic. The connecting piece 12 and / or the cover 19 can also consist of metal and / or plastic. In particular, it can be provided to produce some or all of the components mentioned from chromium-plated brass in order to achieve a particularly appealing exterior. However, it is also possible to produce some or all of the components mentioned from renewable raw materials. It is possible that instead of a wall-side outlet opening 21 between the cover 19 and the first leg 4, at least one outlet opening is arranged in the cover 19. This at least one outlet opening can likewise be slot-like and extend in the X direction and / or else also in the Y direction. For example, this at least one outlet opening could be arranged centrally or on the side of the cover adjoining the floor tiles. Instead of at least one slot-shaped outlet opening, one or more differently configured, for example circular or rectangular outlet openings can also be arranged in the cover.
