The present invention relates to a strain relief housing for a cable according to the main claim.In the case of electrical components which have a cable connection to a housing part, such as power electronics or other high-voltage components for partially or fully electrified vehicles, for example, the ground of the cable must be intercepted after a specific distance from the housing, depending on the manufacturer's specification. Such a strain relief serves for protecting the housing interface (e.g. for ensuring tightness requirements) and furthermore for protecting the components located in the housing from the action of force from the outside via the cable.WO 03 / 067715 A1 discloses a housing having a first and second housing part and a strain relief device. In this case, the cable is clamped between a first and a second clamping jaw. The first housing part 2 has a side wall 20 on which an aperture (not shown) for at least one cable 7 is provided. This opening essentially serves to allow the cable 7 to be guided from the outside into the interior of the housing 1 in order to be contacted there correspondingly on the electrical device. The cable 7 is fastened to the side wall by means of a housing interface 8. Such a housing interface 8 is understood below to mean an arrangement by means of which it is possible to connect a cable 7 to a housing 1 and the terminals of an electrical device located therein. The housing interface 8 is expediently fastened to the side wall 20 by means of screws 40. The housing interface 8 thus forms the transition between the outer region and the interior of the housing 1.The strain relief 4 according to the invention comprises a first jaw 5 and a second jaw 6 (Fig. 2). The first clamping jaw is not shown in FIG. 1. FIG. 1 shows the second clamping jaw 6. the second clamping jaw 6 has a recess 9, as a result of which a shell-shaped receptacle is formed, into which the cable 7 can be inserted. Furthermore, the second clamping jaw 6 has a passage 50 for a fastening means 40, for example a screw, by means of which the second clamping jaw 6 can be fastened to the first clamping jaw (not shown in FIG. 1 ) and to the second housing part (not shown in FIG. 1 ).FIG. 2 shows a housing 1 according to the illustration in FIG. 1 In addition, a second housing part 3 is illustrated in FIG. 2. This second housing part 3 essentially serves as a cover for the first housing part 2 and is expediently screwed to the first housing part 2. Expediently, a seal (not shown) is provided between the first housing part 2 and the second housing part 3, whereby the penetration of moisture into the housing 1 can be prevented.A section 30 of the second housing part 3 projects beyond the region of the side wall 20 of the first housing part 2 at which the passage for the at least one cable 7 or the housing interface 8 is provided. On the underside 60 of the second housing part 3, i.e. on the side of the second housing part 3 which faces the at least one cable 7, a first clamping jaw 5 is arranged. Expediently, this first clamping jaw 5 can be fastened to the second housing part 3 by means of, for example, screws 40, or the first clamping jaw 5 is integrated into the second housing part 3, as a result of which the first clamping jaw 5 and the second housing part 3 are formed integrally, for example by means of injection molding or die casting.The first clamping jaw 5 is substantially mirror-image to the second clamping jaw 6 and likewise has a shell-shaped recess 9 for receiving the at least one cable 7. The cable 7 is clamped by the connection of the first clamping jaw 5 and the second clamping jaw 6.The portion 30 of the second housing part 3 which projects beyond the region of the side wall 20 of the first housing part 2 at which the housing interface 8 for the at least one cable 7 is located forms a splash guard for this housing interface 8. Furthermore, a considerable saving in space is created by the integration of the first clamping jaw 5 into the second housing part 3 or by the fastening of the first clamping jaw 5 on the side 60 of the second housing part 3 facing the cable 7 to be held. The integrated strain relief 4 of the housing 1 according to the invention does not increase the dimensions of the housing 1. This allows integration of the housing 1 into or onto a motor or transmission.From FIGS. 1 and 2, two first clamping jaws 5 and second clamping jaws 6 can be seen by way of example. Of course, depending on the application, several pairs of first and second clamping jaws 5, 6 can also be used.By way of example, the clamping jaw pairs comprising first clamping jaws 5 and second clamping jaws 6 are arranged in such a way that the cable 7 does not have a bending radius between the housing interface 8 or between the two clamping jaw arrangements. Housing for an electronic product, which has a cable (7) for an electrical connection, wherein the housing (1) comprises a first housing part (2) and a second housing part (3), and has a strain relief (4) for the cable (7), which strain relief is formed from a first clamping jaw (5) and a second clamping jaw (6) between which the cable (7) is guided, and wherein the strain relief (4) is constructed in such a way that, during the assembly of the housing parts (1, 2), the two clamping jaws (5, 6) are moved relative to one another in order to clamp the cable (7), characterized in that the first housing part (2) has an opening for the passage of the cable (7) or an interface (8) for the connection of the cable (7), in that the second housing part (3) has a section (30), which projects beyond the side wall (20) of the first housing part (2) with the opening for the passage of the cable (7) and to which the first clamping jaw (5) is fastened.Housing according to claim 1, characterised in that the first clamping jaw (5) and the second clamping jaw (6) are screwed together.Housing according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the first clamping jaw (5) and the second housing part (6) are formed in one piece.
