Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a telescopic device for a cooking appliance according to the preamble of patent claim 1, a cooking appliance according to the preamble of patent claim 7 and a method for operating a telescopic device or a cooking appliance.
[0002] Such telescopic devices for cooking appliances, cooking appliances with telescopic devices, and methods for their operation are already known from the prior art in a variety of embodiments. The known cooking appliances comprise a housing,a cooking chamber arranged in the housing with a cooking chamber opening closable by a cooking chamber door and a telescopic device for holding a food carrier that can be retracted and extended relative to the cooking chamber parallel to a longitudinal axis of the telescopic device by means of the telescopic device. The known telescopic devices are designed to hold a food carrier that can be retracted and extended relative to a cooking chamber of the cooking appliance parallel to a longitudinal axis of the telescopic device by means of the telescopic device and comprise a mounting rail for detachably mounting the telescopic device on a side wall of the cooking chamber or a side grille in the cooking chamber in an assembled state of the telescopic device, and a remainder of the telescopic device mounted on the mounting rail for longitudinal displacement relative to the mounting rail, with a longitudinally displaceable holding rail for holding the food carrier, wherein the telescopic device can be moved back and forth between a retracted position, in which the telescopic device can be arranged completely in the cooking chamber, and an extended position, in which the holding rail of the telescopic device is arranged at least partially outside the cooking chamber in the assembled state of the telescopic device.
[0003] For example, DE 20 2014 001 170 U1 discloses a telescopic device as a device for guiding a sliding element, which can be movably mounted on a wall section using the device. The device comprises a support rail attachable to the wall section, an extension rail associated with the sliding element, a center rail acting between the extension rail and the support rail, and load-transmitting bearing means for movably supporting the rails to enable sliding movement of the rails over an extension length of the rails. The load-transmitting bearing means comprise at least three bearing rollers acting between the support rail and the central rail, each having a concavely shaped bearing surface, and rolling bearing elements with bearing surfaces between the central rail and the pull-out rail, wherein a load is transmitted from the bearing means via the bearing surfaces, and wherein a drive element which can be driven via a drive unit is provided for the sliding movement of the rails in such a way that in the drive state the driven drive element acts on the central rail and the central rail can be moved in a sliding direction, wherein the pull-out rail also moves in the sliding direction.
[0004] DE 20 2015 105 303 U1 describes a telescoping device in the form of an oven or stove push-element drive for guiding the movement of a push-element of a kitchen appliance such as an oven or an electric stove. The push-element drive can be attached to a side wall of the kitchen appliance by means of the push-element drive, and the push-element drive comprises an inner rail associated with the side wall and a displaceable rail slidably mounted on the push-element drive. A motorized drive unit causes the displaceable rail to move, and a control unit interacts with the drive unit. An elongated, flexible push-pull element is provided, which can be moved by the drive unit to move the push element. The push-pull element is coupled to the displaceable rail of the push-element drive.
[0005] A telescoping device known from DE 10 2019 124 135 A1 has a rail system with a locking element which, when the rail system is in its disassembled state, in which the rail system is physically separated from the housing, is in a blocking position, in which position the locking element (6) blocks the extension of the rail system. When the rail system is in its installed state, the locking element is in a released position, in which position the locking element releases the extension of the rail system. For this purpose, the locking element is at least partially elastically deformable during the transfer of the rail system from its disassembled state to its installed state as a result of an indirect or direct stop on the housing, whereby the locking element can be automatically transferred from its blocking position to its released position.
[0006] An alternative, but equally effective, locking element for a support device with a rail system is known from DE 10 2019 115 976 A1. During the transfer of the support device from its disassembled state to its installed state, the locking element is at least partially elastically deformable as a result of an indirect or direct stop on the housing, whereby the locking element can be automatically transferred from its blocked state to its free state. In a third variant (DE 10 2019 124 058 B3), a locking unit has an actuating element that is mounted on the support device so that it can be rotated about a rotation axis, so that it can be transferred between a rest position and a support position. When in its support position, the actuating element holds the locking element in its blocked position against the effect of gravity.
[0007] The invention therefore addresses the problem of improving a telescopic device for a cooking appliance, a cooking appliance with a telescopic device and a method for operating a telescopic device or a cooking appliance.
[0008] According to the invention, this problem is solved by a telescoping device having the features of patent claim 1, which is characterized in that the mounting rail and the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device are designed to correspond to one another in such a way that the telescoping device can be mounted and dismounted on the side wall or the side grille solely by means of the mounting rail in the retracted position of the telescoping device, and that the telescoping device is held indetachably on the side wall or the side grille solely by means of the mounting rail and the remainder of the telescoping device when the telescoping device is transferred from the retracted position to the extended position, in the extended position and when the telescoping device is transferred from the extended position to the retracted position, solely by the aforementioned transfers or the existence of the extended position from the side wall or the side grille.According to the invention, the aforementioned longitudinal displaceability means a movement along the longitudinal axis of the telescopic device according to the invention. In the retracted position of the telescopic device, the telescopic device is pushed together so that it can be arranged completely within the cooking chamber of the cooking appliance. In the extended position of the telescopic device, the telescopic device is pulled apart so that, in its assembled state, it is arranged at least partially outside the cooking chamber, preferably in such a way that the food carrier arranged on the telescopic device according to the invention is arranged completely outside the cooking chamber. The aforementioned full extension of a food carrier is present according to the invention when the food carrier can be extended out of the cooking chamber by means of the telescopic device according to the invention so far that, in an extended position of the food carrier, the food carrier is arranged completely outside the cooking chamber.Accordingly, access to the food support and to the food arranged on the food support is particularly easy and ergonomic for a user of the cooking appliance according to the invention. Furthermore, this problem is solved by a cooking appliance with a telescopic device having the features of patent claim 7 and a method for operating a telescopic device or a cooking appliance having the features of patent claim 9. The cooking appliance according to the invention can be designed, for example, as an oven, a steamer, a microwave oven, or a combination appliance with a plurality of heating types.
[0009] Furthermore, the cooking appliance according to the invention can be suitably designed as a household appliance as well as a commercial appliance, i.e., a cooking appliance for professional use. Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the invention are set forth in the following subclaims.
[0010] The advantage achievable with the invention lies in the fact that a telescopic device for a cooking appliance, a cooking appliance with a telescopic device, and a method for operating a telescopic device or a cooking appliance are improved. Due to the inventive design of the telescopic device, the cooking appliance, and the method, it is possible, on the one hand, in the retracted position of the telescopic device according to the invention, to manually assemble or disassemble the telescopic device according to the invention without additional aids or additional assembly effort, simply by means of the mounting rail on the side wall or the side grille in the cooking chamber. On the other hand, when the telescopic device is transferred from the retracted position to the extended position, in the extended position and when the telescopic device is transferred from the extended position to the retracted position without additional closures or the like, it is ensured that the telescopic device according to the invention cannot become detached from the side wall or the side grille in an undesired manner.
[0011] In principle, the telescopic device according to the invention for a cooking appliance can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits in terms of type, mode of operation, material, and dimensions. For example, two telescopic devices arranged parallel to each other are usually required to hold and move the food support relative to the cooking chamber. Depending on the conditions of the individual case, however, it may be sufficient for only one of the two aforementioned telescopic devices to be designed as a telescopic device according to the invention.
[0012] An advantageous development of the telescoping device according to the invention for a cooking appliance provides that a blocking part is arranged on the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device in such a way that the telescoping device, in its assembled state, is detachable from the side wall or side grille in the aforementioned manner, on the one hand, in the retracted position of the telescoping device, and on the other hand, is held non-detachably from the side wall or side grille in the extended position of the telescoping device and during its transfer from the retracted position to the extended position and vice versa. In this way, the function according to the invention can be implemented in a very simple and robust manner in terms of design and manufacturing technology.
[0013] An advantageous development of the aforementioned embodiment of the telescoping device according to the invention for a cooking appliance provides that the blocking part is designed as a sheet metal or a wire. Preferably, the blocking part can be non-positively connected to the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device; particularly preferably, the blocking part can be welded or soldered to the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device. This further simplifies the blocking part and its arrangement on the remainder of the telescoping device. This applies particularly to the preferred and, in particular, to the particularly preferred embodiment of this development.
[0014] A particularly advantageous development of the telescoping device according to the invention for a cooking appliance provides that the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device has a central rail mounted on the mounting rail so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the mounting rail, wherein the holding rail is mounted on the central rail so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the central rail. Preferably, the mounting rail, the central rail, and the holding rail can be coupled to one another in a force-transmitting manner such that a movement of the central rail relative to the mounting rail along the longitudinal axis of the telescoping device can be converted into a simultaneous movement of the holding rail relative to the central rail along the longitudinal axis of the telescoping device with a factor greater than or equal to one. In this way, a very compact and thus space-saving design of the telescoping device and thus of the cooking appliance is possible.Accordingly, the invention can also be advantageously used in cooking appliances where the installation space, i.e., the cooking chamber depth, is very limited. Thus, the invention makes it possible to implement a fully extendable food support even in very confined spaces in a simple design and manufacturing process.
[0015] Accordingly, an advantageous development of the method according to the invention provides that the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device has a central rail mounted on the mounting rail so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the mounting rail, wherein the holding rail is mounted on the central rail so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the central rail, and that a movement of the central rail relative to the mounting rail along the longitudinal axis of the telescoping device is converted into a simultaneous movement of the holding rail relative to the central rail along the longitudinal axis of the telescoping device with a factor greater than or equal to one.
[0016] In principle, the blocking part can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits in terms of type, function, material, dimensions, and arrangement. However, an advantageous development of the aforementioned development of the telescoping device, referring back to claim 2 or 3, expediently provides for the blocking part to be arranged on the center rail.
[0017] Another advantageous development of the telescoping device according to the invention for a cooking appliance provides that the telescoping device is suitably designed for automatically retracting and / or extending the food support. Preferably, the telescoping device can have a coupling device for continuously or discontinuously transmitting force between the telescoping device and a drive of the cooking appliance; particularly preferably, the coupling device can be arranged on the center rail. This increases the ease of use for the user of the cooking appliance equipped therewith and significantly reduces the risk of burns from hot surfaces of the telescoping device or the cooking appliance equipped therewith. The preferred and in particular the particularly preferred embodiment of this development also has the further advantage that the telescoping device according to the invention only requires the coupling device to enable automatic retraction and / or extension of the food support. Accordingly, the additional effort in the design and manufacture of the telescoping device according to the invention is limited. As already explained above, two telescoping devices arranged parallel to one another are usually required to hold and move the food support relative to the cooking chamber. Analogous to the relevant explanations, it may also be sufficient in the present development, depending on the requirements of the individual case, for only one of the telescoping devices to be designed according to the present development.Accordingly, only one of the two telescopic devices arranged parallel to each other for holding and moving the food carrier relative to the cooking chamber would be automatically driven in the manner explained.
[0018] Accordingly, an advantageous development of the cooking appliance according to the invention provides that the cooking appliance has a drive for automatically retracting and extending the food carrier by means of the telescopic device, preferably that the drive is continuously or discontinuously connected to the telescopic device in a force-transmitting manner by means of the coupling device of the telescopic device.
[0019] An embodiment of the invention is shown purely schematically in the drawings and is described in more detail below. It shows Fig. 1a shows an embodiment of the cooking appliance according to the invention with the telescopic device according to the invention for carrying out the method according to the invention in a partial, perspective view, with the telescopic device in its assembled state, with the telescopic device in its retracted position, Fig. 1b the embodiment according to the Fig. 1a in a partial detailed view in the area of a cooking chamber opening end of the side grille, in a sectional side view, Fig. 2a the embodiment in the Fig. 1a analog representation, when transferring the telescopic device into a disassembled state, Fig. 2b the embodiment according to the Fig. 2a in a partial detailed view in the area of the end of the side grille facing the cooking chamber opening, in a sectional side view, Fig. 3a the embodiment in the Fig. 1a analog representation, with the telescopic device in its extended position, Fig. 3b the embodiment according to the Fig. 3a in a partial detailed view in the area of the end of the side grille facing the cooking chamber opening, in a sectioned side view and Fig. 3c the embodiment according to the Fig. 3a in a partially sectioned front view.
[0020] In the Fig. 1a to 3c show an embodiment of the cooking appliance according to the invention with the telescopic device according to the invention for carrying out the method according to the invention purely by way of example.
[0021] The cooking appliance 2 is designed as an oven and comprises a housing, a cooking chamber arranged in the housing with a cooking chamber opening that can be closed by a cooking chamber door, and two telescopic devices 4 arranged parallel to one another for holding a food support that can be retracted and extended relative to the cooking chamber parallel to a longitudinal axis 6 of the respective telescopic device 4 by means of the telescopic devices 4. The housing, the cooking chamber, the cooking chamber door, the cooking chamber opening, and the food support are in the Fig. 1a to 3c are not shown. Only one of the telescoping devices 4 is shown in the drawing. However, the two telescoping devices 4 are constructed analogously to each other, so that only one of the two telescoping devices 4, namely the one shown in the Fig. 1a to 3c, is explained in more detail. Accordingly, the relevant explanations also apply to the telescopic device of the exemplary embodiment (not shown).
[0022] The telescoping device 4 for the cooking appliance 2 comprises, according to the invention, a mounting rail 8 for detachably mounting the telescoping device 4 on a side rail 10 in the cooking chamber, a central rail 12 mounted on the mounting rail 8 so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the mounting rail 8, i.e., displaceable along the longitudinal axis 6 of the telescoping device 4, and a holding rail 14 mounted on the central rail 12 so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the central rail 12, i.e., displaceable along the longitudinal axis 6 of the telescoping device 4, for holding the food support. The central rail 12 is only in the Fig. 3a to 3c.
[0023] The mounting rail 8 of the telescoping device 4 and the side grille 10 arranged on a side wall (not shown) of the cooking chamber are configured to correspond to one another in such a way that the telescoping device 4 can be detachably arranged on the side grille 10 in the cooking chamber. In other embodiments of the invention, it is conceivable for the telescoping device to be arranged directly on a wall of the cooking chamber, for example, a side wall of the cooking chamber.
[0024] The telescopic device 4 is arranged between a Fig. 1a to 2b, in which the telescopic device 4 can be arranged completely in the cooking chamber, and one in the Fig. 3a to 3c, in which the holding rail 14 of the telescoping device 4 is arranged at least partially outside the cooking chamber in the assembled state of the telescoping device 4, can be transferred back and forth, wherein the mounting rail 8 and the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device 4 are designed to correspond to one another in such a way that the telescoping device 4 can be mounted and dismounted on the side grille 10 only by means of the mounting rail 8 in the retracted position of the telescoping device 4, and wherein the telescoping device 4 can be moved back and forth only by means of the mounting rail 8 and the remainder of the telescoping device 4 when transferring the telescoping device 4 from the retracted position to the extended position,in the extended position and when the telescopic device 4 is transferred from the extended position to the retracted position, it is held indetachably on the side rail 10 solely by the aforementioned transfers or the existence of the extended position of the side rail 10.
[0025] For this purpose, a blocking part 16 is arranged on the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device 4, namely on the central rail 12, in such a way that the telescoping device 4, in its assembled state, can be detached from the side rail 10 in the aforementioned manner, on the one hand in the retracted position of the telescoping device 4, and on the other hand in the extended position of the telescoping device 4 and during its transfer from the retracted position to the extended position and vice versa, is held non-detachably on the side rail 10. The blocking part 16 is in the Fig. 3a to 3c and is designed as a sheet metal, wherein the blocking part 16 is non-positively connected, for example welded or soldered, to the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device 4, namely the central rail 12.
[0026] As explained above, the aforementioned remainder of the telescoping device 4 comprises, among other things, the central rail 12 mounted on the mounting rail 8 so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the mounting rail 8, wherein the holding rail 14 is mounted on the central rail 12 so as to be longitudinally displaceable relative to the central rail 12, namely in such a way that a movement of the central rail 12 relative to the mounting rail 8 along the longitudinal axis 6 of the telescoping device 4 can be converted into a simultaneous movement of the holding rail 14 relative to the central rail 12 along the longitudinal axis 6 of the telescoping device 4 with a factor greater than or equal to one.For this purpose, the center rail 12 has a gear mechanism (not shown in detail) that corresponds simultaneously to the mounting rail 8 and the holding rail 14. The center rail 12 with the gear mechanism, the mounting rail 8, and the holding rail 14 are designed to be coordinated with one another in such a way that a movement of the center rail 12 relative to the mounting rail 8 along the longitudinal axis 6 can be converted into a simultaneous movement of the holding rail 14 relative to the center rail 12 along the longitudinal axis 6 with a factor of one. In the present exemplary embodiment, this results in a transmission ratio of 1:2 between the movement of the center rail 12 and the movement of the holding rail 14 relative to the mounting rail 8 fixed to the side rail 10.
[0027] Furthermore, the telescoping device 4 is designed here to automatically retract the food carrier into the cooking chamber and automatically extend the food carrier out of the cooking chamber, wherein the center rail 12 has a coupling device (not shown) for discontinuous force-transmitting connection to a drive of the cooking appliance (also not shown), namely such that the coupling device is designed as an integral component of the aforementioned gear device. In the aforementioned retracted position, the food carrier is retracted into the cooking chamber by means of the telescoping device 4 to such an extent that the food carrier is completely arranged within the cooking chamber, while in the aforementioned extended position, the food carrier is extended out of the cooking chamber to such an extent that the food carrier is completely arranged outside the cooking chamber. The aforementioned extended position thus corresponds to a so-called full extension position of the food support by means of the telescopic devices 4.
[0028] By means of the coupling device, it is possible to move the telescopic device 4 independently of the drive in the event of an interruption of the force-transmitting connection between the drive on the one hand and the telescopic device 4 on the other hand, for example to remove it from the cooking chamber of the cooking appliance 2 for cleaning purposes. The drive and its discontinuous coupling with the telescopic device 4 are formed in the present embodiment only on one side of the cooking chamber of the cooking appliance 2, so that only the Fig. 1a to 3c, the telescoping device 4 of the two telescoping devices 4 arranged parallel to one another can be driven automatically by means of the drive. Fig. 1a to 3c, not shown, serves only to hold the food support on both sides, i.e. on both sides of the cooking chamber, in a manner known to the person skilled in the art and to synchronise it with the Fig. 1a to 3c to move into the cooking chamber or to move out of the cooking chamber.
[0029] In the following, the functioning of the cooking appliance according to the invention and the telescopic device according to the invention and the method according to the invention according to the present embodiment are explained with reference to the Fig. 1a to 3c are explained in more detail.
[0030] The telescoping devices 4 are detachably connected to the respective side grille 10 in a manner known per se to those skilled in the art, so that the respective telescoping device 4 is in its assembled state. Furthermore, the two telescoping devices 4 with the food carrier arranged thereon are initially in the above-explained retracted position of the telescoping devices 4, so that the food carrier is completely arranged in the cooking chamber by means of the telescoping devices 4. Accordingly, the cooking chamber door (not shown) can be closed and the cooking chamber can thus be essentially tightly sealed for the purpose of carrying out a cooking process. In the retracted position of the respective telescoping device 4, the respective telescoping device 4 can be mounted or dismounted on the corresponding side grille 10 simply by means of the mounting rail 8.
[0031] In order to place a food item (not shown) on the food carrier placed on the telescopic devices 4 for the purpose of carrying out a cooking process, the food carrier is semi-automatically transferred from its retracted position to its extended position by means of the telescopic devices 4.
[0032] For this purpose, a user of the cooking appliance 2 (not shown) actuates a switch (also not shown) of the cooking appliance 2. The switch and the drive are electrically connected in a manner known per se to a control (not shown) of the cooking appliance 2, so that the drive is energized due to the actuation of the switch in such a way that the middle rail 12 in the image plane of the respective Fig. 3a and Fig. 3b is automatically moved from right to left. Due to the force-transmitting coupling of the center rail 12, on the one hand, with the mounting rail 8 and, on the other hand, with the holding rail 14 by means of the gear device, as explained above, the food support placed on the telescoping devices 4 reaches its fully extended position, i.e. its full extension position. Due to the gear ratio of 1:2 already explained above, the relatively small movement path of the center rail 12 relative to the mounting rail 8 is converted into a movement path of the holding rail 14 relative to the mounting rail 8 that is twice as large. The movement of the center rail 12 relative to the mounting rail 8 along the respective longitudinal axis 6 of the two telescoping devices 4 is thus converted into a simultaneous movement of the holding rail 14 relative to the center rail 12 along the longitudinal axis 6 of the respective telescoping device 4 with a factor of one.The user can now place the food carrier placed on the telescopic devices 4 with the food to be cooked or remove the food carrier from the telescopic devices 4 for this purpose.
[0033] During the aforementioned transfer of the telescopic device 4 from its retracted position to its extended position, the blocking part 16 engages with the side rail 10 in such a way that a detachment of the telescopic device 4, namely the mounting rail 8, from the corresponding side rail 10 is not possible. This is because the blocking part 16 slides under a strut 11 of the side rail 10 during the aforementioned transfer in such a way that the telescopic device 4, namely the mounting rail 8, is in a Fig. 1a to 3c, the area of the side grille 10 on the cooking chamber opening side cannot be lifted in such a way as to be able to detach the mounting rail 8 from the respective side grille 10.
[0034] After the user has placed the food on the food carrier, the food carrier should be moved back from the fully extended position to the inserted position using the telescopic devices 4 in order to carry out the cooking process.
[0035] To do this, the above steps are performed in reverse order. First, the user presses the above-mentioned switch again. The drive is then controlled by the control system in such a way that the Fig. 1a to 3c, namely its central rail 12, in the image plane of the respective Fig. 3a and Fig. 3b is moved from left to right. Analogous to the above explanations, the food carrier placed on the telescopic devices 4 with the food to be cooked is now in the image plane of the respective Fig. 3a and Fig. 3b automatically from left to right from its full extension position back into its retracted position. Due to the aforementioned transmission ratio of 1:2, a relatively small movement path of the center rail 12 relative to the mounting rail 8 is converted into a movement path of the holding rail 14 relative to the mounting rail 8 that is twice as large. The movement of the center rail 12 relative to the mounting rail 8 along the respective longitudinal axis 6 of the two telescoping devices 4 is thus in turn converted into a simultaneous movement of the holding rail 14 relative to the center rail 12 along the longitudinal axis 6 of the respective telescoping device 4 with a factor of one.
[0036] Since the blocking part 16 remains in the aforementioned position relative to the corresponding side rail 10 even in the extended position of the respective telescopic device 4 and during the return of the respective telescopic device 4 from its extended position to its retracted position, an undesired detachment of the telescopic devices 4 from the side rails 10 is effectively prevented, both in the extended position and during the aforementioned return of the telescopic device 4. A transfer of the respective telescopic device 4 from its assembled state to its disassembled state, for which a lifting of the mounting rail 8 relative to the corresponding side rail 10 according to the Fig. 2a and Fig. 2b would be required, is therefore not possible when transferring the telescopic device 4 from its retracted position to its extended position, into its extended position and when transferring it back from its extended position to its retracted position.
[0037] As soon as the telescopic devices 4 have been returned to their retracted position, it is possible to dismantle the telescopic devices 4 from the side rails 10 and to reassemble the telescopic devices 4 on the side rails 10.
[0038] Due to the inventive design of the two telescoping devices 4, the cooking appliance 2, and the method according to the present exemplary embodiment, it is possible, on the one hand, to manually assemble or disassemble the telescoping device 4 in the retracted position without additional tools or additional assembly effort, simply by means of the mounting rail 8, on the corresponding side grille 10 in the cooking chamber, or to manually assemble or disassemble the telescoping device 4 without additional tools or additional assembly effort. On the other hand, when the telescoping device 4 is transferred from the retracted position to the extended position, in the extended position, and when the telescoping device 4 is transferred from the extended position to the retracted position, it is ensured without additional closures or the like that the telescoping device 4 cannot become undesirably detached from the corresponding side grille 10.
[0039] However, the invention is not limited to the present embodiment. See, for example, the relevant statements in the introduction to the description.
[0040] In particular, the invention is not limited to the structural, manufacturing and process engineering details of the present embodiment.
[0041] For example, the blocking part and the transmission device can be freely selected within wide, suitable limits. This applies in particular to the selection and arrangement of the individual components of the transmission device and, secondly, to the design of the transmission device, for example, as a single-stage or multi-stage transmission. Accordingly, other transmission ratios are also conceivable.
[0042] In contrast to the present exemplary embodiment, it can also be provided that the gear device itself has a drive for automatically retracting or extending the food carrier. In this way, the drive of the telescopic device is integrated into the gear device itself. An external drive for the telescopic device is not absolutely necessary. In principle, however, it would also be conceivable in other embodiments of the invention for the telescopic device to be driven by a drive combination, i.e. a combination of the two aforementioned drives for automatically moving the food carrier by means of the telescopic device. As already explained, a combined drive of the telescopic device is also conceivable in principle. Of course, it can also be provided that both telescopic devices arranged parallel to one another can each be automatically driven by at least one drive.Of course, cooking appliances and telescopic devices are also conceivable which are designed such that the food carrier can be held on the housing by means of only a single telescopic device and can be moved relative to the cooking chamber by means of this telescopic device.
[0043] Furthermore, embodiments of the invention are possible in which no drive is provided for automatically retracting or extending the food carrier placed on the telescopic device.
