Description

The invention relates to a running board arrangement for a vehicle. The invention also relates to a method for constructing a projector screen from a running board arrangement of a vehicle. From the prior art, display systems are known which are equipped, for example, with a projector and / or with a projector screen. Such display systems may be mounted on a vehicle such that an image may be displayed in the vehicle on the projector screen.DE 10 2019 100 082 A1 describes a retractable canvas system for a vehicle interior. For this purpose, an intake module is provided on a rear side of a backrest of a driver's seat. Further, a fixing rod is disposed at the rear side of the backrest of a passenger seat. A canvas can be tensioned between the pull-in module and the fastening rod. As a result, a projector screen can be mounted in the interior of the vehicle. In order to gain additional space, i.e. in order to make the canvas even larger, the canvas can be provided at different positions on the vehicle.A projection system is known from DE 60 2004 004 563 T2, for example, wherein a projector is provided in a vehicle, which projector is arranged in an area in the vicinity of a rear of the vehicle. A projector screen, in particular in the form of a projector screen, is arranged in an extendable manner in the vehicle. The image of the projector may be projected onto the projector screen. Further, a housing unit is provided that is mounted on or near a back door of the vehicle and houses the projector screen. A canvas can thus be tensioned in a space of the tailgate.U.S. Pat. No. 2021 0 277 659 A1 discloses an awning rod having an awning body. The awning rod also comprises at least one busbar which runs along the awning body. The busbar comprises at least one magnet which enables a magnetic attachment to the busbar and supplies an accessory with current when in contact with the busbar.KR 10 2020 0 139 355 A discloses a screen installed in front of the engine compartment of an electric vehicle with the engine compartment grill covered so that the user can enjoy video provided by a beamer in the vehicle. In JP S59 231 523 A, a display device is disclosed. This is provided in the packing box of a wheel frame in an up and down movable state. A lifting device consisting of a pair of front and rear X-joints and a cylinder is provided between the device and the packing box.US 1 863 660 A relates to a car accessory in the form of a mat for use on the running track. A mat is used which is normally wound on a spring reset roll, the roll and mat being enclosed in a protective casing. Means are provided which are actuated by the car door to extend the mat to the usable position when the door is opened and the occupant enters or leaves the car.The size of the projector screen is also disadvantageously limited by the dimensions of the vehicle interior. Furthermore, the projection system, consisting of projector screen and projector, requires installation space which is available in the vehicle only to a limited extent. The object of the present invention is now to specify a projector screen and a method for constructing a projector screen which overcome the aforementioned disadvantages.According to the invention, this object is achieved by a running board arrangement having the features in claim 1, and here in particular in the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments are evident from the dependent claims dependent thereon. A method of constructing a projector screen from a running board assembly of a vehicle is also described. The core of the running board arrangement according to the invention is a projector screen which is integrated in a running board. Advantageously, no installation space is thereby required in the interior of the vehicle for the mounting of the projector screen, as a result of which the space conditions in the vehicle can still be used flexibly. Furthermore, the size of the projector screen is not dependent on an existing interior dimension, and may instead be chosen freely. It is likewise advantageous that the canvas is easily visible from outside the vehicle. As a result, a plurality of persons can participate in a projection which is imaged on the screen. This is advantageous in particular when a plurality of persons come together, as may be the case, for example, in camping. With the proposed projector screen integrated in a running board, a possibility is therefore created of viewing films on a very large screen. The transport of a bulky projector screen and the search for a suitable installation location can thereby be omitted. Furthermore, the projector screen is safely stored when not in use. For example, a bulky projector screen does not need to be stored in an interior of the vehicle when not in use.The running board arrangement is designed for a vehicle having a running board, wherein the running board can be arranged on an outer side of the vehicle. The vehicle may be, for example, a van, a camera, an SUV, or the like. Usually, in such vehicles, the running board is disposed below a door, for example, a sliding door. The running board can run over a complete length between the two wheel axles and can thereby be formed to be sufficiently long. A projector screen can therefore be stowed over the entire length of the running board. The projector screen is integrated into the running board. This means in particular that the projector screen is arranged in a recessed state within the running board. In other words, the projector screen can therefore be stored in a housing which is safely protected against environmental influences, in particular dirt and moisture. The running board therefore preferably forms a type of housing for the projector screen. In a constructed state, the projector screen can be removed from the housing, in particular pulled out, in order to form a projection surface. In the constructed state, the projector screen is preferably furthermore fastened to the running board by a side edge, so that the screen can be tensioned. In one embodiment, it can be provided, for example, that a stand arrangement is provided which clamps the projector screen in the constructed state. The stand arrangement can also be integrated in the running board and can be pivoted upwards in the assembled state. The stand arrangement is preferably arranged behind the projector screen, i.e. between the projector screen and an outer side of the vehicle. For example, the stand arrangement can be vertically oriented in the assembled state and therefore tension the projector screen in the vertical direction. A lower side edge of the projector screen can be anchored to the running board over the entire length, so that the projector screen is fixed on the underside over the entire length and is therefore tensioned.Preferably, the projector screen can be arranged rolled under the running board in a lowered state and can be arranged at least partially above the running board in a constructed state. If the projector screen is rolled up, only a very small space is required. In addition, the projector screen can be stored in a shape which corresponds to the shape of a running board, i.e. has only a small height and width. Furthermore, the projector screen is therefore not visible when it is not required.According to a very advantageous development of the concept, it can be provided in this case that the running board has a running surface which is arranged pivotably on the running board. The tread is preferably an upper side of the running board, which is entered by persons when entering and exiting the vehicle. If the tread surface is designed to be pivotable, the pivot axis can be oriented parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The tread can therefore be swept along the complete running board assembly, exposing a top. Consequently, the area from which the projector screen can be pulled out can be exposed. In this case, according to an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the projector screen is rolled up on a roller arrangement below the tread surface. The roller arrangement is preferably likewise oriented in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. In particular, an axis of rotation of the roller arrangement is oriented parallel to a pivot axis of the tread surface. The projector screen may be attached to the roller assembly with a side edge and may be rolled up and down, for example manually or by a motor. For this purpose, the roller arrangement has, in particular, at least one cylindrical sleeve which can be rotated about its own axis. The side edge of the projector screen which remains on the underside of the projector screen in the assembled state and is in particular aligned parallel to a floor surface on which the vehicle is located can be fastened to the cylindrical sleeve.According to a very advantageous development of the concept, it can be provided here that a guide strip is arranged on an upper side of the projector screen, which guide strip can be fastened to the outer side of the vehicle in a constructed state. The guide strip can have the same length as, for example, the roller arrangement. For example, the guide strip can likewise consist of a cylindrical sleeve which clamps a side edge of the projector screen. The side edge can be the opposite side edge, which is correspondingly fixed to the roller arrangement. In this case, according to an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that the guide strip can be fastened to a rail support on the outer side of the vehicle in order to tension the projector screen. The rail support can be, for example, a device which is provided in the region of the roof rail. Furthermore, the rail support can be the roof rail itself. As a result, no further component is necessary in order to tension the projector screen.Preferably, the projector screen is oriented parallel to an outer side of the vehicle in a constructed state. As a result, the canvas can be constructed at any point in time, regardless of where the vehicle is located.According to a very advantageous development of the concept, it can be provided that a width of the projector screen substantially corresponds to a length of the running board. If the vehicle is formed, for example, as a van, the projector screen can therefore be formed relatively wide and, for example, almost corresponds to the side face of the van. This allows very large-format projections to be displayed on the projector screen.Furthermore, a method for constructing a projector screen from a running board arrangement of a vehicle is proposed. The same features and advantages apply in particular to the method as already described with respect to the running board arrangement. In the core of the method, the projector screen is pulled out of a running board to arrange the projector screen outside the vehicle in a constructed state. In a retracted state, the projector screen is therefore safely stored in the running board and in particular protected from weather influences, moisture and soiling. In this case, according to an advantageous configuration, it can be provided that the projector screen is arranged vertically next to the vehicle in the constructed state. The projector screen can therefore be tensioned, for example, with a stand arrangement. The stand assembly may also be stored in the running board. In a further embodiment, the projector screen can be fastened to a roof rail and thereby tensioned. In this case, in particular, spacer elements can be provided in order to align the projector screen vertically and to tension it at a distance from an outer side of the vehicle. As a result, the projector screen can be protected from soiling even in a constructed state. In this case, according to an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that a tread surface of the running board is pivoted about an axis of rotation in such a way that an interior of the running board arrangement is released and the projector screen is unrolled from a roller arrangement arranged in the interior of the running board arrangement in order to arrange the latter above the running board in the assembled state.Further advantageous embodiments of the running board arrangement according to the invention and of the method also result from the exemplary embodiment which is illustrated in more detail below with reference to the figures. The following are shown: FIG. 1 is a view of a vehicle with a running board arrangement; FIG. 2 shows a detailed view of the running board arrangement in a retracted state; FIG. 3 shows a detailed view of the running board arrangement in a constructed state; and FIG. 4 is a view of a vehicle with a running board arrangement and a projector screen constructed. The illustration of FIG. 1 shows a possible embodiment of a vehicle 2 having a running board arrangement 1. The vehicle 2 can be, for example, a van. The box truck can be designed, for example, as a camera. In the lower region of the vehicle 2 there is a running board 3 which runs between the two wheel axles. The running board 3 can be provided, for example, below a door, in particular below a sliding door. A projector screen 4 is integrated in the running board 3, as described by way of example with reference to the following figures.FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the running board arrangement 1 in a lowered state of the projector screen 4. the projector screen 4 is arranged on a roller arrangement 6 and is stored rolled up below a tread 5. In this state, the projector screen 4 is completely integrated in the running board 3 and protected from environmental influences, moisture and dirt. If the projector screen 4 is now to be constructed, it is pulled out at the top side of the running board 3. This is shown in the following figure.FIG. 3 shows a detailed view of the running board arrangement 1 in a constructed state. The same components are provided with the same reference numerals, so that they need not be discussed in detail here. In contrast to FIG. 2, the projector screen 4 is oriented vertically here, in particular parallel to an outer side of the vehicle 2. the constructed state is achieved by pivoting the tread 5 about a joint 9 in order to release an upper side of the running board arrangement 1. This allows the projector screen 4 to be pulled out. The tread surface 5 is pivoted about the joint 9, wherein the axis of rotation formed by the joint 9 is aligned in particular parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle 2. On an upper side edge of the projector screen 4 is disposed a guide rail 8 which can be fastened to the outside of the vehicle 2 in a constructed state. For example, the guide rail 8 may be attached to a rail support on the outside of the vehicle 2. The rail support can be a roof rail which is already installed on the vehicle. Furthermore, spacer elements can be provided in order to tension the canvas at a sufficient distance from the outer surface of the vehicle 2 and to protect it from contaminants.FIG. 4 shows a view of a vehicle with a running board arrangement 1 and a projector screen 4 constructed. A width of the projector screen 4 corresponds here almost to a length of the running board 3.Of course, the described embodiment variants of the running board arrangement 1 in FIGS. 1 to 4 can also be modified accordingly, so that different possibilities arise. For example, another vehicle may be provided, such as an SUV or a camera or motor homes. Furthermore, the canvas can have a size that differs from the illustration, and the running board 3 can be designed differently per se. However, it is common to all embodiments that the running board arrangement 1 with integrated projector screen 4 allows the vehicle 2 to be configured as a third residential space, after a home and an office, and offers further advantages with regard to comfort and selliness.
