Description

[0001] The invention relates to a centrifugal pendulum according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] DE 10 2010 049 558 A1 describes a centrifugal pendulum with a pendulum mass carrier and several pendulum masses mounted on it with limited deflection. Three axial thrust elements are attached to each pendulum mass. The axial thrust elements are arranged axially between the pendulum masses and the pendulum mass carrier. The axial thrust elements reduce the noise generated when the pendulum masses strike the pendulum mass carrier in the axial direction.

[0003] Further prior art is referred to DE 10 2014 211 711 A1, DE 10 2014 223 634 A1 and DE 11 2018 006 223 T5.

[0004] Disturbing influences acting on the centrifugal pendulum, such as imbalance, axial dynamic movements, or gravity, can impair the pendulum motion of the pendulum mass relative to the pendulum mass support. With multiple pendulum masses, the uniform motion of the pendulum masses can be disrupted, thus impairing the centrifugal pendulum's vibration damping.

[0005] The object of the present invention is to equalize the pendulum motion of the pendulum mass relative to the pendulum mass support. The pendulum motion should be subject to targeted frictional damping.

[0006] At least one of these objects is achieved by a centrifugal pendulum having the features of claim 1. This allows targeted friction damping to be applied to the pendulum movement of the pendulum mass relative to the pendulum mass carrier.

[0007] The centrifugal pendulum absorber can be arranged in a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle. The centrifugal pendulum absorber can be arranged in a drive train of the vehicle. The centrifugal pendulum absorber can be assigned to a torsional vibration damper, an electric motor, a clutch disc, a torque converter, a pulley decoupler, and / or a hybrid module.

[0008] The centrifugal pendulum can reduce torsional vibrations of a drive element, for example an internal combustion engine.

[0009] The centrifugal pendulum can have at least two, in particular three, and preferably four pendulum masses on its circumference. Targeted friction damping can better adapt the pendulum motion of the pendulum masses to each other.

[0010] The magnetic force can be directed as an attractive force that pushes the pendulum mass towards the pendulum mass carrier.

[0011] The frictional force can act against the pendulum mass support during the entire pendulum motion of the pendulum mass. The frictional force can act in a specific section of the pendulum track during the pendulum motion. The frictional force can act perpendicular to the pendulum motion.

[0012] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is advantageous if the friction point is formed directly between the pendulum mass and the pendulum mass support. The friction point can be formed axially and / or radially between the pendulum mass and the pendulum mass support.

[0013] In one embodiment of the invention, the pendulum mass has at least one projection projecting toward the pendulum mass support, which projection rests against the pendulum mass support to form the friction point. The projection can project axially toward the pendulum mass support. The projection can be pin-shaped. The projection can be designed as a separate component from the pendulum mass and firmly connected to the pendulum mass. The projection can be formed as a single piece from the pendulum mass. The projection can be embossed from the pendulum mass.

[0014] Alternatively or additionally, the pendulum mass support can have a projection extending toward the pendulum mass. The projection can be pin-shaped. The projection can be designed as a separate component from the pendulum mass support and firmly connected to the pendulum mass support. The projection can be formed as a single piece from the pendulum mass support. The projection can be stamped from the pendulum mass support.

[0015] In a special embodiment of the invention, it is advantageous if the pendulum mass is arranged axially next to the pendulum mass support, and the projection rests against an axial side surface of the pendulum mass support in a frictionally effective manner. This allows frictional damping to be implemented while still allowing the pendulum movement for vibration damping to be as unaffected as possible.

[0016] If there is a projection on the pendulum mass carrier, this can frictionally rest on an axial side surface of the pendulum mass.

[0017] In a specific embodiment of the invention, it is advantageous if the magnetic element is connected to the pendulum mass or is formed by the pendulum mass. The magnetic element can be a separate component from the pendulum mass. The magnetic element can be firmly connected to the pendulum mass.

[0018] The pendulum mass and the magnetic element can be constructed as a single piece. The pendulum mass can be magnetized to form the magnetic element. The pendulum mass can be a permanent magnet. The pendulum mass can be magnetized circumferentially and have circumferentially opposing magnetic poles. The pendulum mass can be axially magnetized and have axially opposing magnetic poles. The pendulum mass can be radially magnetized and have radially opposing magnetic poles.

[0019] In a specific embodiment of the invention, it is advantageous if the pendulum mass carrier is designed as a magnetizable component that can be magnetized by the magnetic element of the pendulum mass. This allows the magnetic force to be generated cost-effectively and with as few components as possible. The pendulum mass carrier can also have a magnetic element. The pendulum mass can be designed as a magnetizable component that can be magnetized by the magnetic element of the pendulum mass carrier. The pendulum mass and the pendulum mass carrier can also each have a magnetic element between which the magnetic force acts.

[0020] In a specific embodiment of the invention, it is advantageous if the magnetic force acts primarily in the axial direction on the friction point. This allows the friction point to be loaded primarily with an axial force that is preferably perpendicular to the pendulum motion.

[0021] In a specific embodiment of the invention, it is advantageous if the pendulum mass is designed as a first pendulum mass arranged on an axial side surface of the pendulum mass support, which is firmly connected to a second pendulum mass arranged on an axially opposite axial side surface of the pendulum mass support. The first and second pendulum masses can perform the pendulum movement together. The first and second pendulum masses can have the friction point, which counteracts the pendulum movement, exclusively between the first pendulum mass or the second pendulum mass and the pendulum mass support.

[0022] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the magnetic element is arranged exclusively on the first or second pendulum mass. This allows the magnetic force to act exclusively in one direction on the friction point.

[0023] In a specific embodiment of the invention, it is advantageous if the magnetic force acts exclusively between the first or second pendulum mass and the pendulum mass support. This allows the magnetic force to act in only one direction between the pendulum masses and the pendulum mass support.

[0024] Further advantages and advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the description of the figures and the illustrations. Character description

[0025] The invention is described in detail below with reference to the figures. They show in detail: Fig. 1: A side view of a centrifugal pendulum in a special embodiment of the invention. Fig. 2: A detailed view of the centrifugal pendulum from Fig. 1. Fig. 3: A detailed view of a centrifugal pendulum in a special embodiment of the invention. Fig. 4: A cross-section of a centrifugal pendulum in a special embodiment of the invention. Fig. 5: Pendulum movements of three pendulum masses according to the prior art compared to three pendulum masses of a centrifugal pendulum in another special embodiment of the invention.

[0026] Fig. Figure 1 shows a side view of a centrifugal pendulum in a specific embodiment of the invention. The centrifugal pendulum 10 comprises a pendulum mass carrier 14 rotatable about a rotational axis 12 and three pendulum masses 16, which are mounted on the pendulum mass carrier 14 and are capable of limited deflection via a pendulum movement 18 along a pendulum track.

[0027] The respective pendulum mass 16 is mounted on the pendulum mass support 14 via at least two rollers 20. The rollers 20 are each received in cutouts 22 in the pendulum mass 16 and in cutouts 24 in the pendulum mass support 14.

[0028] The pendulum mass 16 has at least one friction point 26 opposite the pendulum mass carrier 14, which generates a friction force 28 that counteracts the pendulum movement 18. The friction force 28 can implement a uniform pendulum movement 18 of the pendulum masses 16, in particular a synchronous pendulum movement 18 of the pendulum masses 16. The friction point 26 is preferably formed by a projection 30 on the pendulum mass 16 that protrudes in the direction of the pendulum mass carrier 14. The individual pendulum mass 16 comprises a total of three friction points 26, each of which is designed as a projection 30 of this type.

[0029] Fig. 2 shows a detailed view of the centrifugal pendulum from Fig. 1. The centrifugal pendulum 10 is designed to reduce torsional vibrations by means of the pendulum mass 16, which can be deflected along the pendulum track by the pendulum movement 18. During the pendulum movement 18, the pendulum mass 16 is deflected relative to the pendulum mass carrier 14 by a maximum oscillation angle φ maxdeflected on both sides from a zero position 32. The zero position 32 is preferably a position of the pendulum mass 16 along the pendulum track that is radially outermost relative to the pendulum mass carrier 14.

[0030] Fig. 3 shows a detailed view of a centrifugal pendulum in a specific embodiment of the invention. The pendulum mass 16 has a magnetic element 36 that applies a magnetic force 34 to the friction point 26 to increase the friction force 28. The magnetic element 36 is preferably formed by the pendulum mass 16. The pendulum mass 16 is preferably magnetized in the circumferential direction and has a magnetic pole 40 on a first circumferential side 38 and an opposite magnetic pole 44 on a circumferentially opposite second circumferential side 42, between which a magnetic field described by magnetic field lines 46 is present.

[0031] The pendulum mass carrier 14 is designed as a magnetizable component that can be magnetized by the magnetized pendulum mass 16. The magnetic force 34 between the pendulum mass 16 and the pendulum mass carrier 14 acts in the axial direction as an attractive force that pushes the pendulum mass 16 axially toward the pendulum mass carrier 14. The friction point 26 is loaded by the magnetic force 34 with an axial force 48, which builds up or increases the friction force 28 during the pendulum movement.

[0032] Fig. Figure 4 shows a cross-section of a centrifugal pendulum in a specific embodiment of the invention. The centrifugal pendulum 10 comprises a first pendulum mass 52 on a first axial side surface 50 of the pendulum mass carrier 14 and a second pendulum mass 56 on an axially opposite second axial side surface 54 of the pendulum mass carrier 14. The first and second pendulum masses 52, 56 are rigidly connected to one another and can be deflected by means of a pendulum motion along a pendulum track by means of common rollers 20.

[0033] The first pendulum mass 52 has an axial projection 30 on an axial side surface 58 axially facing the pendulum mass carrier 14, which projection rests on the first axial side surface 50 and thereby forms the friction point 26 which is axially loaded by the magnetic force 34.

[0034] The first pendulum mass 52 is magnetized and formed as a single piece with the magnetic element 36. The pendulum mass carrier 14 is designed as a magnetizable component that can be magnetized by the magnetic element 36.

[0035] Fig. Figure 5 shows pendulum movements of three pendulum masses according to the prior art compared to three pendulum masses of a centrifugal pendulum in another specific embodiment of the invention. Fig. 5 a) is a time-dependent pendulum movement 18 of a total of three pendulum masses of a centrifugal pendulum according to the prior art in comparison to the time-dependent pendulum movement 18 of a total of three pendulum masses of a centrifugal pendulum in a special embodiment of the invention in Fig. 5 b). The pendulum motion 18 is described by the time-dependent oscillation angle φ.

[0036] While the pendulum movements 18 in Fig. 5 a) are unsynchronous and with different oscillation angle amplitudes 60, the pendulum movements 18 in Fig. 5 b) are synchronized with each other, and the oscillation angle amplitudes are adjusted to 60. This improves the vibration damping of the centrifugal pendulum.
