Description

The present invention relates to a seat holder. More particularly, it relates to a seat holder that holds a seat in a position folded up from a floor toward a mating fastener.JP 2009-166 562 A discloses a seat holder that holds a vehicle seat in a position in which it is folded up laterally from a floor. This seat holder is fixed to an end of a strap extending from the vehicle seat. The seat holder is hooked to an assist grip attached to a side wall of a vehicle body after the vehicle seat is folded and folded up sideways from the floor. As a result, the vehicle seat is held in a position in which it is folded up laterally from the floor.In the structure described in JP 2009-166 562 A, there is a risk that a user may step on the seat holder when it is placed on the floor. This can lead to problems in which a stylet waste can stick in the seat holder. Therefore, there is a need for a seat holder that prevents foreign matter from being caught.An embodiment of the present disclosure is a seat holder configured to hold a seat in a position folded up from a floor toward a mounting counterpart. The seat holder has a fastening portion and a hook-shaped hook portion. The fastening portion is fastened to a fastening element provided on one of two components, the seat or the fastening counter piece. The hook portion is hooked to an engaging member that engages with the other of the two components. The fixing portion and the hook portion have a wire frame made of bent metal wire, which forms a core, and a resin covering member for covering the wire frame. The resin covering member has an extending portion that extends to narrow a gap between bending portions of the wire frame."Between bent portions of a wire frame" refers to, for example, a space between portions of the wire frame bent in a folded or curved shape. More particularly, it relates to a space between portions of the wire frame bent in opposing directions to each other. It refers to a space between an end and an edge of the wire frame, between edges of the wire frame or between ends of the wire frame. The extending portion formed on the resin covering member narrows the gap between the bent portions of the wire frame. Therefore, a foreign matter such as a stylettode can be suitably prevented from being stuck between the bent portions of the wire frame.In another aspect of the present disclosure, the resin covering member has a truncated curved portion defining surfaces of the attachment portion and the hook portion as curved surfaces satisfying the requirements for inner protrusions according to Regulation No. 17 (UN / ECE-R 17) or No. 21 (UN / ECE-R 21) of the United Nations Business Commission for Europe.Even if the wire frame itself is not formed to meet the requirements for internal protrusions, the seat holder may have a shape that meets the requirements for internal protrusions thanks to the truncated curved portion of the resin covering member. The seat holder may be disposed on a rear (upper) surface of the seat back when the seat is folded on the floor so as to be exposed to the outside due to the length of the band extending from the seat.The strap allows the seat retainer to be configured to be positioned on the rear (upper) surface of the backrest of the seat folded onto the floor. Also in this configuration, the seat holder may be configured so as not to violate the requirements of the inner protrusions.In another aspect of the present disclosure, the fastener is a strap. A base end of the strap is secured to the seat. A tip end of the band is fixed to the fixing portion of the seat holder. The band is guided through the fastening counterpiece and folded back or folded back so that the band can be engaged with the fastening counterpiece. In the following description, when no specific reference figures are illustrated or when there is no corresponding reference numeral in the reference figures, one of the figures of FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 to 9 is referred to as needed.As shown in FIG. 1, a seat 10 is the second row seat of a three row automobile. The seat holder 1 holds the seat 10 in a position folded forward from the floor F. The seat 10 includes a seat cushion 11 serving as a seat portion and a seat back 12 serving as a seat back portion. The seat 10 is normally locked in a folded position with the seat cushion 11 on the floor F when the seat 10 is used for seating. The seat back 12 is locked in an upright position from the rear end of the seat cushion 11.However, the passengers can step in and out of the third row of seats (not shown) that are the seats behind the seat 10. In this case, the seat 10 is folded forward and folded up to secure the boarding space. Specifically, the seat 10 is operated by a user with a lever (not shown). This brings the seat back 12 into a folded state in which the seat back is folded onto the seat cushion 11.Further, the seat cushion 11 of the seat 10 is unlocked from the floor F when the seat is switched to the above-described folded state. As a result, the seat 10 is folded up forward about a hinge (not shown) that connects the front end of the seat cushion 11 and the floor F due to the biasing force of a spring.When the seat 10 is folded up as described above, it is retracted to an upright position along a rear side of the first row of seats (not shown) serving as front seats. This retraction frees space on the floor F on which the seat 10 is installed. As described above, after the seat 10 is folded up, a seat holder 1 connected with a band B is removed from a storage area 13 on the rear side of the upright seat cushion 11. The seat holder 1 is engaged with an assist grip G fixed to a side wall S of a vehicle body. As a result, the seat 10 is held in a folded-up position, with the assist grip G corresponding to a "counterpart attachment".Specifically, the seat holder 1 is fixed to an end of the band B extending from the storage area 13 of the seat cushion 11. By removing the seat holder 1 from the storage area 13, the tape B is pulled out from a fixed base end within the storage area 13. The seat holder 1 is thus pulled to a position where it reaches the assist grip G. Further, the seat holder 1 engages with the assist grip G by the following method.As shown in FIG. 2, the seat holder 1 is first passed through the assist grip G from the upper or lower side and then retracted toward the seat side therefrom. The band B connected to the seat holder 1 then wraps around the assist grip G. The seat holder 1 has a hook-shaped hook portion 3 at the end when retracted toward the seat side.The seat holder 1 hangs and fixes the assist grip G via the band B. As a result, the seat 10 is held in a fixed position with respect to the assist grip G. The band B corresponds to a "fastener" and the band extension B 1 corresponds to an "engaging member".The seat 10 returns from the retracted state to a usable state, so that a user can seat by the following method. First, the seat holder 1 is released from hooking with the band extension B 1. As shown in FIG. 3, the seat 10 is folded on the floor F and the seat cushion 11 is locked on the floor F, thereby holding the seat 10 in a folded state on the floor F.The seat back 12 is raised rearward from the seat cushion 11 and the seat 10 returns to a seatable position. The seat holder 1 is released from hooking with the tape extension B 1 and stored together with the tape B in the storage area 13 at the rear of the seat cushion 11. The lid 13A is closed so that the seat holder 1 is not exposed to the outside.However, as shown in FIG. 4, when the seat holder 1 is not stored in the storage portion 13, it is carelessly thrown onto the floor F so that passengers can step thereon. As shown in FIG. 3, there is also a risk that the seat holder 1 may be carelessly placed on the rear (upper) side of the backrest 12 of the seat 10 folded on the floor F.The seat holder 1 can be carelessly placed on the floor F remote from the seat 10, depending on the length of the band B extending from the seat 10 (see FIG. 4 ). Alternatively, the seat holder 1 may be placed on the rear (upper) side of the seat back 12 (see FIG. 3 ). In such a case, a passenger may step on the seat holder 1 placed on the floor F as illustrated in FIG. 4. This may lead to a problem, for example, if a stylet heel of a shoe remains stuck in the seat holder 1.As shown in FIG. 3, the seat holder 1 may be placed on the rear (upper) side of the folded back 12. This state is subject to restrictions on the inside protrusions according to United Nations Business Commission Regulation No. 17 for Europe (UN / ECE-R17), a regulation for protecting the passengers in the rear seats. Similarly, the seat holder 1 is hooked into the handle G via the band B as described above in FIG. 1. The wire frame W is bent in an S-shape. The resin covering member C is integrally molded with the wire frame W so as to cover the wire frame W. The resin covering member C covers the entire wire frame W along the surface of the wire frame W and forms an S shape.The seat holder 1 integrally includes a loop-shaped (endless) fastening portion 2 and a hook portion 3 that opens in a hook shape through the above-described wire frame W and the resin covering member C. FIG. 2 shows that the fastening portion 2 is fastened in a state that the end of the band B can pass through and wraps around, and the hook portion 3 is hooked to the band extension B 1.As shown in FIGS. 5-7, the wire frame W is composed of a single round rod-shaped metal wire bent into a seamless S-shape. The wire frame W as a whole forms an S-shape. Specifically, each side of the wire frame W extends linearly to form a Z shape. The wire frame W is S-shaped so that each end of the Z-shape can be bent. A portion constituting the core of the hook portion 3 has an end W 1 at the bent end of the S shape and a center part W 3 opposite to the end W 1. The space between the end W1 and the middle part W3 is wider than the diameter of the wire.The portion of the fixing portion 2 constituting the core has an end W2 at the bent end of the S-shape and a central part W3 opposite to the end W2. The space between the end W2 and the middle part W3 is open in that it is narrower than the diameter of the wire. The fastening portion 2 and the hook portion 3 are located in the same plane. Therefore, the wire frame W is configured to have a torsion-free shape in three dimensions. Not only the portion constituting the core of the hook portion 3 but also the portion constituting the core of the loop-shaped fastening portion 2 is open between the end W 2 and the center part W 3. Therefore, the wire frame W is formed in a shape that is easy to bend.The resin covering member C has a truncated curved portion C 1 covering the entire surface of its wire frame W in a shape forming a curve satisfying the requirements for inner protrusions. The resin covering member C also has an extending portion C 2 that is extended to narrow the gap between the S-shaped curved portions of the wire frame W. The truncated curved portion C 1 is configured in a shape covering the entire surface of the wire frame W with a certain constant thickness.The extending portion C 2 extends at both the fastening portion 2 and the hook portion 3 in a manner that narrows the gap between the bent portions of the wire frame W. Specifically, the extending portion C 2 has a narrowing portion C 6 extending from the center part W 3 that narrows the gap in the loop of the fastening portion 2 into an elongated hole shape. This narrowing portion C 6 forms an elongated elongated hole 2A in the loop of the fastening portion 2 capable of receiving the band B (see FIG. 2 ) in the band longitudinal direction along the band shape.As shown in FIGS. 5-7, the extending portion C2 having a guide C3 which narrows the gap in the hook portion 3 has an elongated hole shape with an extension away from the center part W3. The extending portion C 2 also has a barb C 4 that extends arrow-pointedly toward the inside of the hook portion from the bent end portion 3A that is the end of the hook portion 3.The guide C 3 and the barb C 4 form an elongate receiving hole 3B in the hook portion 3 that can receive the band extension B 1 (see FIG. 2 ) from the opening of the hook portion in the width direction. The extension of the guide C 3 gradually increases obliquely from the opening of the hook portion 3 toward the rear of the hook portion. The guide C3 is triangular, and the extension gradually decreases obliquely from the center of the guide C3 to form a side parallel to the long hole 2A of the fixing portion 2.The barb C 4 forms an elongate receiving hole 3B which can receive the band extension B 1 (see FIG. 2 ) in the width direction between the opening of the hook portion and the guide C 3. The barb C4 also forms a hook hole 3C through which the edge on the exit side (edge in the width direction) of the tape extension B1 can be hooked at its arrow tip when the tape extension B1 comes to the back side of the receiving hole 3B. The above narrowing portion C 6, the guide C 3, and the barb C 4 are formed in a shape extending from the center of the truncated curved portion C 1 in the thickness direction in a flat plate shape having a thickness thinner than the outer diameter of the truncated curved portion C 1.The extension portion C 2 further includes a connection portion C 5 that connects a gap between the end W 2 and the center part W 3 of the portion forming the core of the attachment portion 2 of the wire frame W. The connecting portion C 5 has the same outer diameter as the truncated curved portion C 1 and forms an outer circumferential surface flush with the truncated curved portion C 1. The above connecting portion C 5 closes the opening of the core shape formed by the wire frame W of the fixing portion 2, and the fixing portion 2 is formed in a loop shape.Thus, in the seat holder 1, the resin covering member C is integrally molded in the metal wire frame W. This configuration provides a curved shape that satisfies the requirements for internal protrusions. Specifically, the surfaces of the attachment portion 2 and the hook portion 3 formed by the truncated bent portion C 1 have a curved shape with a constant radius of curvature of R=4 mm.With this configuration, the seat holder 1 satisfies the requirements for inner protrusions even when the wire frame W is not manufactured with a diameter that can satisfy the requirements for inner protrusions. The wire frame W is made of a round rod-shaped metal wire having a diameter of φ = 4 mm, and its surface is curved with a radius of curvature of R = 2 mm.As illustrated in FIG. 8, the unified nations business commission control No. 17 for Europe (UN / ECE-R 17), a control for protecting the passengers on the rear seats, sets the size of the radius of curvature of the required inner protrusions for each of the three partial regions (region A 1, region A 2, and region A 3) that divide the seat back 12 in the rear view. The wire frame W and the resin covering member C are integrally molded. The resin covering member C has an extending portion C 2 extending to narrow the gap between the bent portions of the wire frame W.The extension portion C 2 formed in the resin covering member C narrows the gap between the bent portions of the wire frame W. The seat holder 1 can be disposed on the rear (upper) surface of the seat back 12 while the seat 10 is folded on the floor F so as to be exposed to the outside due to the length of the band B extending from the seat 10.According to the above configuration, the seat holder 1 may be configured so as not to violate the requirements of the inner protrusions, although the seat holder 1 may be positioned on the rear side of the backrest 12 of the seat 10 folded on the floor F by being fastened via the band B.The fastening member B is a band B whose base end is fixed to the seat 10 and whose front end is fixed to the fastening portion 2. The engaging member B 1 is a band extension B 1 extending from the seat 10 and guided by the counterpart fastening part G of the band B and folded back to engage with the counterpart fastening part G. Further, the weight increase of the seat holder 1 due to the formation of the extension portion C 2 can be suppressed to a minimum.The wire frame W is bent in an S shape, and the core shapes of the fixing portion 2 and the hook portion 3 are open and have an open ring shape. The resin covering member C further has a connecting portion C 5 connecting the end W 2 and the center part W 3 of the wire frame W to close the opening of the core shape of the fixing portion 2. According to the above configuration, even when the core shape of the fixing portion 2 is formed into a shape that is easy to bend with the open end W 2 by the wire frame W, the fixing portion 2 can be formed to be closed by the connecting portion C 5, so that the fixing member B cannot be easily removed.< Embodiments>Although the above disclosure has been described using one embodiment, this disclosure may be embodied in various other forms in addition to the above embodiment.The seat holder described above holds the folded seat in a position of being folded up forward from the floor. The seat retainer may also be used to maintain the seat in a laterally raised position. The seat holder described above is fixed to a fixing member provided on the seat and hooked to an engaging member engaged with a counterpart fixing member. The seat holder may be fixed to a fixing member provided on the counterpart fixing member and hooked to an engaging member to be engaged with the seat.The above-described engaging member serving as a hook counterpart of the seat holder is a band that is passed through the fixing counterpart and folded back to engage with the fixing counterpart. The engagement element can be the fastening counterpart itself. In particular, the fastening counterpart can be a grab handle or a headrest strut of another seat, which is located where the seat is folded up. Claims

A seat holder (1) configured to hold a seat (10) in a position folded up from a bottom (F) toward a mating fastener (G), comprising: a fastening portion (2) fastened to a fastening member (B), the fastening member (B) provided on the seat (10) or the mating fastener (G); a hook-shaped hook portion (3) hooked to an engaging member (B1), the engaging member (B1) being engaged with the other of the seat (10) or the mating fastener (G); a wire frame (W) made of bent metal wire, forming a core of the fastening portion (2) and a core of the hook portion (3); and a resin covering member (C) integrally molded with the wire frame (W) for covering the wire frame (W), wherein the resin covering member (C) has an expanding portion (C2) expanding to narrow a gap between bending portions of the wire frame (W).The seat holder (1) according to claim 1, wherein the resin covering member (C) has a truncated curved portion (C1) defining surfaces of the fixing portion (2) and the hook portion (3) as curved surfaces satisfying requirements for inner protrusions set in the United Nations Commission Regulation No. 17 (UN / ECE-R17) or No. 21 (UN / ECE-R21) for Europe.The seat holder (1) according to claim 1 or 2, wherein: the seat (10) is folded up from the floor in a folded state in which a seat back (12) is folded on a seat cushion, the fixing member (B) is a band whose base end is fixed to the seat (10) and whose tip end is fixed to the fixing portion (2), and the band has a length extending from the floor that allows the band to allow the seat holder (1) to be disposed on a rear surface of the seat back (12) while the seat (10) is folded on the floor so as to be exposed to the outside.The seat holder (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein: the fixing member (B) is a band whose base end is fixed to the seat (10) and whose tip end is fixed to the fixing portion (2), the engaging member (B1) is a band extension extending from the seat (10), which is guided and folded back by the fixing counterpart (G) to be engaged with the fixing counterpart (G), and the extending portion (C2) comprises: a guide (C3) configured to hold the band extension (B1) hooked to the hook portion (3) in an orientation in which a band width direction is aligned with a bent end portion (3A) of the hook portion (3), and an arrow-tip shaped barb (C4), which extends inward from the bent end portion (3A) from the hook portion (3) to allow a band width direction edge of the band extension (B1) to be hooked.The seat holder (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the extension portion (C2) further has a thickness smaller than that of the fixing portion (2) and the hook portion (3).The seat holder (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein: the wire frame (W) is bent in an S-shape, a core shape of the fixing portion (2) and a core shape of the hook portion (3) are open to each have an open ring shape, and the resin covering member (C) further includes a connection portion (C5) configured to connect between an end portion and a center portion (W3) of the wire frame (W) to close an opening of the core shape of the fixing portion (2).
