Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a connector for elongated support profiles of a luminaire support rail system and a luminaire support rail system with such a connector.
[0002] Luminaire support rail systems are known from the prior art, such as the applicant's TECTON system. Such luminaire support rail systems generally have elongated support profiles, which, for example, run in series behind one another or branch off from one another to form a luminaire support rail system of any length or branching. Any luminaire support rail components, such as bar lights, can be mechanically coupled to the support profiles from below. Electrical conductors usually run within the support profiles, to which the luminaire support rail components can then be electrically connected in order to be supplied with power (e.g., for operation) or data (e.g., for control).
[0003] If several support profiles are combined into a system, adjacent support profiles are usually mechanically connected to each other. Support profiles can be arranged in an I-, L-, T-, or X-shape, for example, and mechanically connected to each other using internal connectors (e.g., sheet steel connectors).
[0004] The mechanical connectors often come with electrical connection components, so the highest possible fit is required.
[0005] Due to the desired high component diversity of such systems, the custom design of a specific luminaire support rail system often involves combining support profiles of varying lengths with equally varied and differently long luminaire support rail components. To achieve a system that is continuous in length, it is often necessary to provide numerous different lengths for each type of luminaire support rail component. Gaps that arise are often covered with blank covers, some of which are custom-cut.
[0006] The type of connection of the support profiles and the desired supply (infeed; outfeed) of the system also have an impact on the connection points of the system and the types of connectors provided, which further increases the number of parts.
[0007] All this increases the complexity of the entire luminaire support rail system, both in planning and in its manufacture, transport, storage and assembly.
[0008] It is therefore an object of the present invention to increase the assembly options on the one hand and to reduce the complexity of the parts on the other hand.
[0009] This object is achieved by the subject matter of the independent claims. The dependent claims develop the central idea of the present invention in a particularly advantageous manner.
[0010] According to a first aspect, the present invention relates to a connector for elongated support profiles of a lighting support rail system. The connector comprises an elongated profile section that extends along a longitudinal axis with a defined cross-section and delimits a receiving space.
[0011] The cross-section has two side legs arranged on either side of the longitudinal axis of extension to form two side walls of the profile section that are opposite one another with respect to the longitudinal axis of extension. The side walls each have a longitudinal end section that extends longitudinally along the longitudinal axis of extension. The two longitudinal end sections together delimit (in particular laterally) a receiving opening of the receiving space of the profile section or span this. The cross-section further has a connecting leg that connects the side legs to form a connecting wall of the profile section. The connecting wall, in turn, delimits the receiving space on the side of the side walls opposite the receiving opening, at least partially or completely. In other words, the profile section has a substantially identical cross-section (e.g., U-shaped or V-shaped cross-section) over its length.
[0012] The profile section further comprises holding contours which extend from the two adjacent longitudinal end sections towards each other into the receiving space in order to support a luminaire support rail component which is at least partially inserted radially - i.e. radially with respect to the longitudinal extension axis - into the receiving space.
[0013] The retaining contours are provided at a distance from an axial end face of the profile section, which is open for the passage of an elongated support profile of the luminaire support rail system, i.e. axially with respect to the longitudinal axis of extension, so that in the area between the end face and the retaining contours, the profile section is free in its cross-section between the longitudinal end face sections; thus, the receiving opening spans the full width therebetween.
[0014] The connector according to the invention makes it possible to imitate a common contour of a support profile as closely as possible. Since the connector is designed to receive the support profile, i.e., it externally encompasses the support profile to be connected or received, a connection that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also mechanically secure can be achieved. Since the connector also has retaining contours, the connector - as is often the case with a support profile - can be used to support corresponding luminaire support rail components. Preferably, the connector can thus functionally develop the support profiles accordingly with regard to the reception of any luminaire support rail components. Since the retaining contours are provided at an axial distance from the end face, the area between the retaining contours and the end face can be used simply and preferably also (axially) variably for the (preferably load-bearing) reception of the support profiles passed through the end face.Since the connector surrounds the support profile on the outside, the connector can at best conceal the axial end edge of a support profile it is supporting. This is particularly advantageous if, for example, the support profile has been cut to length by the customer to determine a desired individual length, and the resulting cut edge can then be covered and concealed by the connector. The end face of the support profile - e.g. corresponding to the cut edge - can thus be safely concealed both for aesthetic reasons and to conceal any sharp cut edges. Depending on the distance of the retaining contours from the end face, a correspondingly variable and thus telescopic connection area to the support profile can be provided, so that the length of the luminaire support rail system can also be variably adjusted.
[0015] Within the scope of the invention, a “defined cross-section” is preferably understood to mean that it remains essentially the same in both shape and size along the longitudinal axis of extension, at least in one functional area (i.e. where luminaire support rail components are to be accommodated; hence from the front side to the axial end of the holding contours or the receiving opening), and thus easily enables the accommodation of a support profile that is also usually uniformly designed and extends; this is preferably also done in a sliding or telescopic manner.
[0016] In the area between the end face and the retaining contours, the longitudinal end face sections can preferably be formed as webs extending partially in front of the receiving space in the receiving opening (i.e., preferably in a plane spanned by the receiving opening). These webs particularly preferably have longitudinal end edges directed toward one another. In this way, a compact but effective clamping element is created, which slightly encompasses a support profile to be received in the receiving space on the side of the receiving opening and thus securely (radially) holds it. This preferably makes it possible to largely or completely dispense with additional fastening means, such as screws or clinching.
[0017] The profile section can preferably be profiled in such a way that the profile element has a fastening contour for (preferably at least radially) supporting the support profile to be received therein. Such a profiled design makes it possible for a correspondingly received support profile—for example, with a comparable contour—to be easily received in the connector in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of extension, thereby preferably holding it securely against falls.
[0018] The fastening contour can, for example, be formed by the profiled connecting wall. This allows a contour often provided in corresponding support profiles to be used for the mechanical connection. The profiled connecting wall can thus secure the support profile on the inside and, preferably, be available on the outside for mounting the luminaire support rail system. Alternatively or additionally, the fastening contour can also be formed by the longitudinal end sections, such as their webs. This means that this part of the profile section can serve not only as a fall protection device but also as a load-bearing section for the support profile.
[0019] The retaining contours preferably extend axially in a closed manner; thus, preferably correspondingly closed along the longitudinal end sections. This allows any luminaire support rail components to be attached at any axial location along the retaining contours. In principle, it is also conceivable for the retaining contours to be provided intermittently in the axial direction or in other multi-part configurations. This can be advantageous, for example, for reducing weight or locally increasing the flexibility of the retaining contours.
[0020] The retaining contours are preferably designed to lockably accommodate a luminaire support rail component that is at least partially inserted radially—i.e., radially with respect to the longitudinal axis—into the receiving space. Thus, the retaining contours form an undercut, for example, when viewed transversely to the longitudinal axis. The locking receptacle enables both a simple and stable holding option for corresponding luminaire support rail components. Furthermore, they enable an equally simple and thus particularly flexible fastening option for any luminaire support rail component in any axial position.
[0021] The side walls preferably run parallel to one another. This preferably makes it possible to provide a generous amount of space in the receiving space, for example to store cabling and electrical connection options as well as electrical or electronic components. Alternatively, it is also conceivable for the side walls to run at an angle to one another as seen in the direction of the longitudinal axis; for example, they are inclined towards one another away from the receiving opening. In this way, the most compact connector possible can be provided. If the side walls are inclined away from one another away from the receiving opening, for example, this can create additional storage space in the receiving space; for example, for cables or other components.
[0022] The connector can preferably comprise several profile sections. This allows the connector to be provided equally easily for the mechanical connection of multiple support profiles.
[0023] The profile sections preferably extend axially away from a common connecting section, each with respect to their respective longitudinal axis, toward their respective axial end faces. In other words, the profile sections all converge in the common connecting section, so that the connector as a whole is compact and can simultaneously form a stable connection point for all profile sections. This also allows for a simple transition between the individual receiving spaces, for example, for laying electrical cables in close proximity to one another.
[0024] The profile sections preferably all have the same cross-section. This makes it possible to provide a luminaire support rail system that is as uniform as possible. In particular, support profiles with identical cross-sections can be incorporated into all profile sections. This allows the number of parts in the luminaire support rail system to be kept as low as possible.
[0025] The profile sections are preferably arranged such that the connector has an L-, T-, X-, or star-shape, or any other desired shape. Thus, any branching of the luminaire support rail system can be provided via the simply designed connector.
[0026] The longitudinal axes of all profile sections preferably extend in one plane. This allows for a connector that easily enables the formation of a luminaire support rail system in one plane.
[0027] The connector can preferably have at least one through-opening, or one through-opening per profile section, for passing through the cabling of the luminaire support rail system. The through-opening is preferably provided in the connecting wall(s). In this way, cabling—for example, for supply or discharge—can be easily introduced into the luminaire support rail system via the connector. This significantly simplifies the complex electrical connection options of conventional connectors.
[0028] A grommet for routing the cabling can preferably be provided in the opening. This allows cabling to be routed safely and easily through the opening and thus be provided. A grommet can also make it possible to design a sealed cabling passage; this is necessary, for example, to ensure that the luminaire support rail system provided by the connector complies with a defined IP protection class.
[0029] The connector can preferably have a mounting section, such as a coupling opening for attaching a cable suspension or a locking section of the profiled connecting wall, for mounting the luminaire support rail system equipped with the connector. In this way, the connector can provide a suitable area for mounting the luminaire support rail system. For example, corresponding mounting sections on the support profile side can be omitted, or the connector can replicate the corresponding function of the support profiles, thus increasing the mounting options.
[0030] According to a further aspect, the present invention further relates to a luminaire support rail system with at least one of the previously described connectors according to the invention. Furthermore, the luminaire support rail system further comprises at least one elongated support profile, which extends along a longitudinal axis with a defined cross-section and delimits a receiving space. The cross-section of the support profile has essentially the same contour as the cross-section of the profile section.
[0031] The support profile can be arranged with at least one insertion section passing axially through the open axial end face in such a way as to supportively receive the support profile at least partially in the receiving space of the profile section in the area between the end face on the one hand and the holding contours on the other hand, so that the longitudinal extension axes of the profile section and the support profile received therein are aligned parallel to one another.
[0032] The advantages of the connector are thus transferred to the entire luminaire support rail system, so reference is made to the previous explanations. Since the support profile and the profile section have essentially the same contour, the contour of the support profile can be continued in the area of the connector in an aesthetically pleasing and functionally comparable manner. Furthermore, this provides an effective and preferably radially positive fit for the support profile in the connector. Likewise, it is easy to accommodate the support profile, preferably telescopically, in the profile section, thus achieving a simple connection with variable insertion lengths.
[0033] An outer wall of the support profile can preferably lie at least partially flat against an inner wall of the profile section. This allows the support profile to be securely received in the connector. Preferably, the outer wall of the support profile can lie at least partially or completely flat against the inner wall of the profile section in such a way that the support profile can be supported or received in the receiving space in a radially form-fitting manner around its entire longitudinal axis. This largely full-surface contact enables a particularly high level of fit and thus a particularly stable connection between the components. In addition, the connector can be securely coupled to the support profile in order to serve, for example, for heat dissipation or as a grounding contact.
[0034] The support profile can preferably be inserted axially into the profile section via the open axial end face—preferably telescopically. This allows a telescopic connection from the support profile into the connector or its profile section to be achieved in a particularly simple manner, so that the length of the luminaire support rail system can preferably be adjusted accordingly. Alternatively, it is also conceivable that, for example, the support profile can be inserted or snapped into the receiving space of the profile section from below via the receiving opening.
[0035] An axial end edge of the retaining contours directed toward the front side can preferably serve as an axial stop of the support profile received in the connector. This allows a defined and / or maximum installation position of the support profile in the connector to be provided.
[0036] The support profile preferably delimits an elongated receiving opening, preferably for at least partially receiving or inserting a corresponding luminaire support rail component. The receiving opening of the support profile preferably coincides with the receiving opening of the connector in the region of the insertion section received in the support profile when the support profile and connector are connected. These two receiving openings can also be located directly behind one another in this region, with the receiving opening of the support profile further inwards with respect to the receiving space A. The receiving openings preferably each extend in one plane, wherein these planes are more preferably oriented parallel to one another. The interconnected components support profile and profile section of the luminaire support rail system thus form a common receiving opening ortwo directly aligned receiving openings are provided, which enable a flexible arrangement or accommodation of luminaire support rail components over their entire length - i.e. including connectors and support profile.
[0037] The support profile preferably has additional retaining contours for supporting the luminaire support rail components that are at least partially inserted into its receiving space. Thus, the support profile also serves to flexibly accommodate luminaire support rail components along its elongated extent. The retaining contours of the support profile can also extend axially in a closed manner along the support profile and can also preferably be designed for the locking reception of corresponding luminaire support rail components.
[0038] The additional retaining contours can preferably each axially continue one of the retaining contours of the associated profile section when the support profile and connector are connected, or at least be aligned with one of the retaining contours of the associated profile section when viewed in the direction of the respective longitudinal extension axes. In other words, the connector thus mimics the retaining contours of the support profile through its retaining contours. Since these are aligned with one another, a luminaire support rail component can be held in a supporting manner and preferably latched onto the respective retaining contours at any point on the connector, the support profile, or extending across both without any loss of effectiveness.
[0039] If the luminaire support rail system features the previously described connector with several of the profile sections and the luminaire support rail system has several of the support profiles, then one of the support profiles can be accommodated in a correspondingly supporting manner in several or all of the profile sections. This allows for a luminaire support rail system with any number of rows or branches to be provided.
[0040] The luminaire support rail system preferably further comprises at least one luminaire support rail component that can be attached to the support contours and / or the additional support contours; this is preferably done in a detachable and / or locking manner. The luminaire support rail system can thus be equipped or fitted with corresponding luminaire support rail components in any desired manner.
[0041] The luminaire support rail component preferably comprises an electrical component or an electronic component or a cover. If the luminaire support rail system comprises several luminaire support rail components, these can be identical or at least partially different. Suitable electrical or electronic components include, for example, luminaires, sensors, loudspeakers, and the like. Luminaires could include, for example, bar lights, spotlights, escape sign lights, and the like.
[0042] The luminaire support rail system can preferably further comprise a busbar element that extends into at least one of the receiving spaces or across both receiving spaces of the support profile and the associated profile section, preferably to be electrically connectable or connected to the attached electrical component or electronic component. An electrical connection can be established in a particularly simple manner using corresponding busbar elements. For example, the luminaire support rail component can comprise a rotatable electrical connection element that projects into the corresponding receiving space when the luminaire support rail component is mechanically supported.Arranged in this way, a radially projecting connecting part of the connecting element can then be moved into physical and thus electrical contact with the busbar element by a corresponding rotational movement of the connecting element about a rotational axis directed into the receiving space.

[0044] The figures show different views and embodiments of a connector 1 according to the invention and of a luminaire support rail system 100 equipped with such a connector 1. The connector 1 according to the invention is first described below.
[0045] The connector 1 according to the invention serves as a connector 1 for elongated support profiles 10 of the luminaire support rail system 100.
[0046] The connector 1 has an elongated profile section 2, as shown in all figures. The profile section 2 extends along a longitudinal axis X, as shown, for example, in the Fig. 1-7. In particular, the profile section 2 extends along the longitudinal axis X with a defined cross section Q, as shown in particular in the Fig. 2 and Fig. 5. As can also be seen in these figures, this is a defined cross-section Q, i.e. one that is unchanging along the longitudinal axis X (i.e., unchanging or constant in shape and size).
[0047] The profile section 2 preferably defines a receiving space A, as is the case, for example, with the Fig. 1-7. This is intended to accommodate the support profile 10.
[0048] The cross-section Q has two side legs 3, 4 arranged on both sides of the longitudinal axis X (cf. Fig. 2 and Fig. 5) to form two side walls 30, 40 opposite each other with respect to the longitudinal axis X (cf. e.g. Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4, Fig. 6 and Fig. 7).
[0049] The side walls 30, 40 preferably run parallel to each other, as is particularly the case with Fig. 2 and Fig. 5. Alternatively, it is also conceivable that the side walls 30, 40 are seen in the direction of the longitudinal axis X (i.e., for example, in the plane of the drawing of the Fig. 2 and Fig. 5) are inclined towards each other.
[0050] The side walls 30, 40 each have a longitudinal end face section 31, 41 extending longitudinally along the longitudinal axis X, which together delimit a receiving opening 5 of the receiving space A (cf. e.g. Fig. 1-4). The longitudinal end face sections 31, 41 are each formed by a distal end edge region of the respective side walls 30, 40.
[0051] The cross-section Q further has a connecting leg 6 connecting the side legs 3, 4 (cf. Fig. 2 and Fig. 5) to form a connecting wall 60 (cf. e.g. Fig. 1, Fig. 3, Fig. 4 and Fig. 7). The connecting wall 60 delimits the receiving space A on the side of the side walls 30, 40 opposite the receiving opening 5 at least partially or (essentially) completely, as can be seen in particular from the perspective top views Fig. 4 and Fig. 7 can be seen.
[0052] The connector 1 can further comprise a mounting section 62 for mounting the luminaire support rail system 100 equipped with the connector 1. The mounting section 62 can, for example, be designed as a coupling opening 62 for attaching a cable suspension (not shown) (see Fig. 4). The mounting section 62 can also be formed by a locking section 66 of the profiled connecting wall 60 (cf. Fig. 4).
[0053] The profile section 2 further comprises holding contours 7, which extend from the two adjacent longitudinal end sections 31, 41 towards each other and preferably into the receiving space A, as is particularly the case with the Fig. 1-3 and 5, in order to support and preferably receive a luminaire support rail component 110 which is at least partially inserted radially with respect to the longitudinal axis X into the receiving space A, as is the case, for example, in the Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 is shown as an example.
[0054] The holding contours 7 can preferably each extend axially in a closed manner - preferably along the associated longitudinal end face section 31, 41 - as is the case, for example. Fig. 1 and Fig. 3 can be seen.
[0055] The holding contours 7 are axially spaced - i.e. with respect to the longitudinal axis X - from an axial end face 8 of the profile section 2 which is open for the passage of an elongated support profile 10 of the luminaire support rail system 100 (see distance D in Fig. 1) is provided so that in the area between the end face 8 and the holding contours 7 the profile section 2 is free in its cross section Q between the longitudinal end face sections, in particular in the area of the receiving space A, as can be seen in particular from the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.
[0056] In the area between the end face 8 and the holding contours 7, the longitudinal end face sections 31, 41 can be formed as webs 32, 42 extending in the receiving opening 5 partially in front of the receiving space A, preferably with longitudinal end edges 33, 43 directed towards one another, as is the case, for example, in the Fig. 2 and Fig. 5. The longitudinal end edges 31, 41 can be provided, for example, as slightly bent sections. These bent sections extend as the webs 32, 42 in the receiving opening 5 but generally not into the receiving space A. Thus, this area of the bent longitudinal end sections 31, 41 serves, for example, as a type of clamp to clamp a support profile 10 received in the profile section 2 at the bottom and, for example, in the plane of the drawing of the Fig. 2 and Fig. 5 to be gripped in a form-fitting manner.
[0057] The profile section 2 can preferably be profiled in such a way that the profile element 2 has a fastening contour 20 for radially supporting the support profile 10 to be accommodated therein. The fastening contour 20 can be formed, for example, by the profiled connecting wall 60 and / or by the longitudinal end face sections 31, 41 or their respective webs 32, 42. By means of these fastening contour(s) (20), a desired form fit - preferably in the direction of the drawing plane of the Fig. 2 and Fig. 5 - be provided.
[0058] As can also be seen from all figures, the connector 1 can also have several of the profile sections 2. In the embodiments of the Fig. 1-8, 11, 12 and 14, the connector 1 here has two of the profile sections 2, which are arranged here such that the connector 1 has an L-shape.
[0059] The connectors according to the embodiments of the Fig. 9, Fig. 13 and Fig. 15 each have three of the profile sections 2, wherein the profile sections 2 of the embodiments according to Fig. 9 and Fig. 15 are arranged such that the connector 1 has a T-shape. The profile sections 2 of the connector according to Fig. 13 are arranged in such a way that the connector 1 has, for example, a star shape.
[0060] The connector 1 according to the embodiments of the Fig. 10 and Fig. 16, for example, has four of the profile sections 2, which are arranged here such that the connector 1 has an X-shape.
[0061] Any other number and arrangement or extension of the profile sections 2 are also conceivable. Particularly preferably, the longitudinal extension axes X of several or particularly preferably all profile sections 2 extend in the same plane (e.g. in the Fig. 8-18 in the respective drawing level).
[0062] The profile sections 2 extend from a common connecting section 9, each with respect to their respective longitudinal extension axis X, axially away to their respective axial end face 8, as can be seen in all figures.
[0063] The profile sections 2 can preferably all have the same cross-section Q, i.e., in terms of shape and dimensions. This is also essentially shown in all figures.
[0064] The connector 1 can preferably have at least one or per profile section 2 a passage opening 63 for passing through a cabling (not shown) of the luminaire support rail system 100, as can be seen in particular from the illustration of the Fig. 4. Preferably, a grommet 64 for passing through the cabling can be provided in the through-opening 63, as shown in Fig. 4 is indicated as an example by a dashed line.
[0065] With reference to the Fig. 3-7 and 14-18, a luminaire support rail system 100 according to the invention is described below. This comprises, in addition to at least one of the connectors 1 according to the invention, at least one elongated support profile 10, which extends along a longitudinal axis L with a defined cross section C and delimits a receiving space R. This is particularly evident from the illustrations of Fig. 3-5.
[0066] The cross section C of the supporting profile 10 has essentially the same contour as the cross section Q of the profile section 2, as is particularly evident from the representation of the Fig. 5 can be seen.
[0067] Similar to the profile section 2, the cross section C of the support profile 10 preferably has two side legs 13, 14 arranged on both sides of the longitudinal axis L to form two side walls 130, 140 opposite each other with respect to the longitudinal axis L, each having a longitudinal end section 131, 141 extending longitudinally along the longitudinal axis L, which together delimit a receiving opening 15 of the receiving space R. The cross section C then preferably further has a connecting leg 16 connecting the side legs 13, 14 to form a connecting wall 160. The connecting leg 16 delimits the receiving space R on the side of the side walls 130, 140 opposite the receiving opening 15, at least partially or, as shown, completely. Compare in particular the Fig. 3 to 7.
[0068] The support profile 10 can be arranged with at least one insertion section 11 so that it passes axially through the open axial end face 8 (or according to the Fig. 3-7) in order to at least partially support the support profile 10 in the receiving space A of the profile section 2 in the area between the end face 8 on the one hand and the holding contours 7 on the other hand. This is preferably done in such a way that the longitudinal extension axes X, L of the profile section 2 and of the support profile 10 received therein are aligned parallel to one another (cf., for example, Fig. 3-5). As can be seen particularly from the representations of Fig. 3-7, the connector essentially imitates the external shape of the support profile 10, so that it can aesthetically and at least partially functionally further develop the support profile 10 accommodated therein.
[0069] An outer wall 12 of the support profile preferably lies at least partially flat against an inner wall 22 of the profile section 2, as is the case, for example, with the Fig. 5. This is preferably such that the support profile 10 can be radially supported around its entire longitudinal axis L in a form-fitting manner in the receiving space A or here in Fig. 5 is recorded. On the Fig. 5, the fitting accuracy of the support profile 10 to the profile section 2 should preferably be selected such that in the plane of the drawing the Fig. 5 The parts have little or no play relative to each other, in order to create a particularly stable connection. This also allows a particularly high degree of imitation of the connector 1 or its profile section 2 to the support profile 10 to be achieved.
[0070] If necessary, the connection between support profile 10 and connector 1 or profile section 2 can be additionally secured; for example, by additional fastening means such as screws or clinching. Also, for example, embossings 67 as in Fig. 4 is clearly conceivable, by means of which a force-locking or a form-locking connection of the connector 1 to the support profile 10 can be created.
[0071] For example, the Fig. 3 and schematically also the Fig. As can be seen from Figures 14-17, the support profile 10 can be inserted axially (telescopically) into the profile section 2 via the open axial end face 8. Connector 1 and support profile 10 can thus be connected to each other variably and preferably telescopically. In this way, a certain variable length of the luminaire support rail system 100 can be adjusted by the insertion depth.
[0072] In principle, it is also conceivable that the support profile 10 can be inserted radially into the receiving space A and locked there into the profile section 2; for example, using the clamp-like longitudinal end sections 31, 41, which can preferably serve as a catch with the side walls 30, 40.
[0073] The support profile 10 can, as mentioned, preferably delimit the elongated receiving opening 15, which preferably coincides with the receiving opening 5 of the connector 1 in the connected state of the support profile 10 with the connector 1 in the area of the insertion section 11 received in the support profile 10 or these are arranged directly behind one another or are aligned with one another, as is particularly the case with the Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 can be seen.
[0074] As in particular the Fig. 3, a front edge 70 of the holding contours 7 directed towards the front side 8 can serve as an axial stop of the support profile 10 received in the connector 1 or its profile section 2.
[0075] The support profile 10 can preferably have further holding contours 17 for supporting the luminaire support rail components 110 which are at least partially inserted into its receiving space R, as is the case, for example, with Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 can be seen.
[0076] The further holding contours 17 preferably axially continue one of the holding contours 7 of the associated profile section 2 in the connected state of the support profile 10 and connector 1, as can be seen in particular from the Fig. 3 and also Fig. 5. Also, the further retaining contours 17 can preferably be aligned with one of the retaining contours 7 of the associated profile section 2 in the connected state of the support profile 10 and connector 1, viewed in the direction of the respective longitudinal extension axes X, L, as can be seen, for example, from the synopsis of the Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 can be seen.
[0077] If the connector 1, as shown in all embodiments, has several of the profile sections 2, and a luminaire support rail system 100 equipped therewith then has a corresponding number of the support profiles 10, then in several (cf. Fig. 3 and Fig. 4) or all (cf. Fig. 6, 7 and 14-18) of the profile sections 2 each support one of the support profiles 10.
[0078] With reference to the Fig. 6 and Fig.7, the luminaire support rail system 100 may further comprise at least one luminaire support rail component 110, which is attachable or attached to the holding contours 7 and / or the further holding contours 17 (in this case, both); preferably in a detachable and / or latching manner.
[0079] The luminaire support rail component 110 can comprise an electrical component, an electronic component, or a cover. In the exemplary embodiment shown here, the support of a bar luminaire is shown as an example of such a luminaire support rail component 110.
[0080] The luminaire support rail system 100 may preferably further comprise a busbar element which extends in at least one of the receiving spaces A, R or over both receiving spaces A, R of the support profile 10 and the associated profile section 2 in order to preferably be electrically connectable or connected to the attached electrical component or electronic component.
[0081] The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, as long as it is encompassed by the subject matter of the following claims.
