Description

[0001] The invention relates to a tilt stay for a sliding-tilting fitting of a sliding-tilting window or door with a frame-side fitting part and a sash-side fitting part, with a base plate of one fitting part and with a tilt arm pivotably mounted in an elongated hole of the base plate arranged in the sliding direction and with a control arm pivotably mounted in the base plate and the tilt arm, wherein the control arm has an open recess for a control slider movable by a slidable drive rod.

[0002] From DE 40 16 341 C1, a fitting for a sliding or tilt-and-slide sash of windows, doors, or the like is known, featuring a tilt arm that can be forcibly extended by means of an actuating linkage via a control arm. The tilt arm extends via a vertical leg from a rebate between the frame and the sash. The mounting of the tilt arm on the frame is thus visible when the window is closed.

[0003] From DE 41 38 331 A1, a fitting for a sash that can be tilted and opened parallel to the side is known, in which a tilting arm interacts with an actuating linkage arranged on the sash. The tilting arm extends from the sash rebate. This makes the fitting very bulky.

[0004] The invention is based on the problem of further developing a tilting display of the type mentioned above in such a way that it is particularly compact and particularly easy to assemble.

[0005] This problem is solved according to the invention by a retaining cam of the control slide engaging a rear-engaging web of the extension arm in the position of the extension arm pivoted over the base plate, wherein a rear-engaging recess on the side opposite the rear-engaging web has a widening, so that the rear-engaging recess is wider than the retaining cam.

[0006] This design allows the components of the tilting display to be connected sequentially within a mounting bracket. The control slide is preferably attached to the drive rod in the final step, for example, by riveting. The widening of the display arm makes the control slide particularly easy to access for riveting tools. Thanks to the invention, no additional space is required for mounting assembly tools. This results in a particularly compact tilting display.

[0007] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the dimensions of the tilt stay are further reduced if the base plate has a section raised by the material thickness of the control arm, and the elongated hole for the extension arm is located in this raised section, with the control arm's bearing positioned in front of it. This design results in the tilt stay components being arranged one above the other in a sandwich-like fashion. Therefore, all components can be concealed within the rebate between the frame and the sash. The desired sash opening angles can be easily adjusted by using appropriately sized control and extension arms. This makes the tilt stay particularly compact.

[0008] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, further simplifying assembly is achieved if a support body for longitudinal guidance of the drive rod is arranged below a recess for the opposite fitting part in the position of the extension arm pivoted over the base plate.

[0009] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the creation of the raised section of the base plate is structurally particularly simple if the base plate has two bends for generating the raised section. Preferably, the raised section has only the total height of the control arm, so that the overall installation height is particularly low. The two bends ensure the stability of the base plate and the raised section.

[0010] To simplify the connection of the tilt-and-turn mechanism to the parallel tilt-and-turn fitting, another advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the base plate is attached to a strike plate of the sash-side fitting component and that the rod-operated control slide is slidably guided on the strike plate. The control slide is attached to a drive rod of the sash-side fitting component.

[0011] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the tilting display has high stability when the base plate is wider than the strike plate.

[0012] A large leverage effect in the drive of the control arm can be easily ensured according to another advantageous embodiment of the invention if the control slide extends laterally beyond the sleeve rail.

[0013] An uneven faceplate rail can cause the control slide to tilt. According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the control slide is able to withstand high support forces if the faceplate rail has a flat sliding surface to support the base of the control slide. This gives the control slide the largest possible contact area on the faceplate rail.

[0014] A particularly low-friction drive for the control arm can be achieved according to another advantageous embodiment of the invention if the control slide has a control cam that engages in the open recess of the control arm, wherein the recess and the control cam are complementarily rounded. The recess of the control arm thereby forms a socket joint with the control cam, so that the control arm is driven by the control cam when the connecting rod is driven.

[0015] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the control slide is particularly simple in design if the control cam is arranged on a base attached to the connecting rod. The length of the base is the measure of the amount by which the control slide projects laterally beyond the sleeve rail.

[0016] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, further simplification of the constructive design of the tilting ejector is achieved if the base, control cam and retaining cam of the control slide are manufactured in one piece.

[0017] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the manufacture of the control valve is particularly simple in terms of design if the retaining cam protrudes from the control cam. Preferably, the retaining cam has the same outer contour on one side as the control cam and can therefore be arranged at its outer boundary.

[0018] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the tilting display is particularly compact if the control cam has a shoulder surface for supporting the engagement rib.

[0019] According to another advantageous embodiment of the invention, the control arm's projection beyond the extension arm can be reliably avoided if the control arm is mounted in the extension arm in an off-center position relative to the control arm. This design also allows the control arm to be very short, resulting in further material savings.

[0020] The invention allows for numerous embodiments. To further illustrate its basic principle, one of these is shown in the drawing and described below. This shows in Fig. 1 schematically shows a section of a tilt-and-slide window with a tilt-and-slide fitting and a tilt stay, Fig. 2 enlarges the tilting display from Fig. 1 in a perspective view in tilted position, Fig. 3 the tilting display Fig. 1 in another perspective view, Fig. 4 greatly enlarged, a control slide of the tilting display Fig. 2, Fig. 5 the tilting display from Fig. 2 in a parallel parking position, Fig. 6 the tilting display Fig. 2 in a locked position.

[0021] Fig. Figure 1 shows a section of a tilt-and-slide window with a tilt-and-slide fitting 1, a tilt stay 2, and a tilt stay 3. The tilt stay 2 has a frame-side fitting 4 and a sash-side fitting 5, which are connected to each other via a tilt arm 6. The tilt stay 3 also has a tilt arm 7 for supporting the sash. For the sake of simplicity, only the fittings 4 and 5 connected to the frame and sash are shown. The tilt-and-slide fitting 1 is connected to the tilt stay 2 via a drive rod 9, which is slidably guided on a strike plate 8. The drive rod 9 actuates several locks 10 arranged around the circumference of the sash and the tilt stay 2.

[0022] Fig. 2 shows the tilting display 2 from Fig. 1 in a tilt position of the sash. The tilt arm 6 of the tilt stay 2 connects the sash-side fitting part 5 and the frame-side fitting part 4. A retaining pin 11 of the frame-side fitting part 4 is shown, which engages in a recess 12 open on one side at the free end of the tilt arm 6. The retaining pin 11 and the recess 12 form a bearing for the free end of the tilt arm 6 on the frame. When the tilt arm 6 is pivoted over the strike plate 5, the recess 12 passes over a support body 37 connected to the strike plate 5.

[0023] The tilting stay 2 has a base plate 13 mounted on the faceplate 8, with a raised section 14 containing a bearing 15 for the stay arm 6 in an elongated hole 16. The raised section 14 is separated from a lower section 19, which lies flat on the faceplate 8, by two offsets 17, 18. A control arm 20 has a central bearing 21 on the lower section 19. The control arm 20 is connected at one end to the stay arm 6 via a bearing 23 and has an open recess 24 at the other end for a control cam 25 connected to the drive rod 9. When the drive rod 9 is moved longitudinally, the control cam 25 is moved along a flat slide 38 of the faceplate 8, thus pivoting the control arm 20, as required by the Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 is explained. The bearing 23 of the control arm 20 in the extension arm 6 is arranged off-center to the control arm 20, so that even in the tilted position shown, the control arm 20 does not extend beyond the extension arm 6.

[0024] A retaining cam 26, projecting beyond the control arm 20, is arranged on the control cam 25. The extension arm 6 also has a rebate web 27 with an entry ramp 28 for the retaining cam 26. The rebate web 27 defines a rebate recess 29 of the extension arm 6. The rebate recess 29 is wider than the retaining cam 26 due to a widening 36.

[0025] Fig. 3 shows the tilting display 2 from Fig. 2 in another perspective view. The control cam 25 is part of a control slide 30. The control slide 30 projects laterally beyond the faceplate 8. The base plate 13 also projects laterally beyond the faceplate 8.

[0026] Fig. Figure 4 shows a highly magnified perspective view of the control slide 30. The control slide 30 has a base 31 with retaining pins 32 for riveting to the connecting rod 9. The control cam 25 projects from the base 31 and has a rounded section on its outer surface, which is complementary to the rounded section of the open recess 24 of the control arm 20. The retaining cam 26 projects from the control cam 25 and continues the rounded section of the control cam 25 on one side. On the side opposite the rounded section, the retaining cam 26 has a flat contact surface 33 for sliding along the engagement web 27 of the extension arm 6. The engagement web 27 of the extension arm 6 is inserted into the Fig. 5 and Fig. The 6 positions shown are supported by a support surface 34. The control arm 20 rests on a support surface 35 of the base 31 in each position.

[0027] Fig. 5 shows the tilting display 2 from Fig. 2. After actuation of the connecting rod 9 and thus of the control slide 30, the control arm 20 is pivoted towards the faceplate 8 via the connection of the control cam 25 with the recess 24, which is open on one side. The tilt arm 6 is partially positioned above the faceplate 8. The control cam 25 is still located in the recess 24, which is open on one side, of the control arm 20. This indicates a parallel resting position of the tilt-open mechanism 2. In this position, the sash is held parallel to the frame and can be moved. The retaining cam 26 is located in front of the entry ramp 28 of the engagement web 27 of the tilt arm 6.

[0028] Fig. Figure 6 shows the tilting display 2 from Fig. 2 in a locked position. Compared to the position from Fig. Figure 5 shows that the control slide 20 has been further displaced by the actuation of the connecting rod 9, so that the retaining cam 26 is guided behind the engagement web 27 of the extension arm 6. In doing so, the retaining cam 26 has passed the entry ramp 28 of the engagement web 27 and the extension arm 6 is positioned opposite the one shown in Figure 5. Fig. In the position shown in Figure 5, the sash is pulled further over the strike plate 8. The control slide 30 supports the engagement web 27 with its contact surface 33, so that the tilting arm 6 is held in the position above the strike plate 9. In this position, the sash is locked in the frame. Furthermore, in Fig. Figure 6 shows that the engagement recess 29 is wider than the retaining cam 26 due to the extension 36, so that the control slide 30 is accessible with an assembly tool. The recess 12 of the extension arm 6 is located above the support body 37. QUOTES INCLUDED IN THE DESCRIPTION
