Description

The invention relates to a device and a method for transmitting a position of a vehicle in an emergency.DE 10 2009 017 984 A1 discloses a system which automatically determines the current geographical coordinates of the vehicle in the event of an accident. These data are detected by sensors of an accident monitoring unit in the vehicle and processed by a vehicle navigation unit. An emergency call in text form is then made, which contains the coordinates.By the apparatus and methods for communicating a position of a vehicle in an emergency according to the independent claims, the position of the vehicle in an emergency is made available if communication of the position of the vehicle in text form in the emergency fails. The method in the vehicle for transmitting a position of the vehicle in an emergency provides that, in the event of an emergency call from a vehicle, a speech connection is set up between the vehicle and a remote station, a speech command for inquiring the position being received via the speech connection from the remote station, the position being announced by the vehicle by speech output in response to the speech command and being transmitted to the remote station via the speech connection.Preferably, it is provided that the voice command is received by an infotainment system of the vehicle and the voice output is output by the infotainment system. The position of the vehicle is preferably provided to the infotainment system by a navigation system of the vehicle. It can be provided that in the case of an emergency call, the position is sent to the remote station in text form by means of one data packet or a plurality of data packets. The method in the remote station for transmitting a position of a vehicle in an emergency provides that, in the event of an emergency call from the vehicle, a speech connection is set up between the vehicle and a remote station, a speech command for inquiring the position being transmitted to the vehicle via the speech connection from the remote station, the position announced by speech output in response to the speech command by the vehicle being received from the remote station by the speech connection. It can be provided that in the case of an emergency call, the position is received in text form by means of one data packet or a plurality of data packets from the remote station, wherein the voice command is transmitted to the vehicle if it is determined by an agent that the position is not received or is not received completely by means of the data packet or the plurality of data packets.Preferably, it is provided that the voice command is issued by the agent of the remote station. The device in the vehicle for transmitting a position of the vehicle in an emergency provides that the device is designed to set up a speech connection between the vehicle and a remote station via the speech connection from the remote station in the event of an emergency call from a vehicle, to receive a speech command for inquiring the position via the speech connection, to announcement the position by speech output by the vehicle in response to the speech command and to transmit it to the remote station via the speech connection. The device in the vehicle comprises, for example, an infotainment system which is designed to receive the voice command and to output the voice output. The device in the vehicle comprises, for example, a navigation system which is designed to provide the position of the vehicle to the infotainment system. The device in the vehicle is designed, for example, to send the position in text form by means of one data packet or a plurality of data packets to the remote station in the event of an emergency call. The device in the remote station for transmitting a position of a vehicle in an emergency is designed to establish a speech connection between the vehicle and a remote station in the event of an emergency call from the vehicle, to transmit a voice command for inquiring the position to the vehicle via the speech connection, and to receive the position announced by voice output through the speech connection in response to the voice command by the vehicle. The device in the remote station is designed, for example, in the event of an emergency call to receive the position in text form from the remote station by means of a data packet or a plurality of data packets, and to transmit the voice command to the vehicle if an agent determines that the position is not received or is not received completely by means of the data packet or the plurality of data packets. The device in the remote station comprises, for example, the agent, wherein the agent is designed to output the voice command.Further advantageous embodiments can be seen from the following description and the drawing. The drawing shows: FIG. 1 shows a schematic illustration of a system for transmitting a position of a vehicle in an emergency, FIG. 2 shows steps in a method for transmitting the position of the vehicle in an emergency.FIG. 1 shows a schematic illustration of a system 100 for transmitting a position of a vehicle 101 in an emergency. The vehicle 101 is configured to communicate with an opposite station 102 in an emergency. For example, the vehicle 101 and the remote station 102 are to be communicated via a mobile radio connection or a satellite connection 103 for communication. The vehicle 101 is designed to transmit a position of the vehicle 101 in text form via the satellite connection 103 to the remote station 101 by means of a data packet or a plurality of data packets in an emergency. The vehicle 101 and the remote station 102 are designed to establish a speech connection in an emergency via the mobile radio connection or the satellite connection 103.The vehicle 101 and the remote station 102 are designed to carry out steps in the method described below for transmitting the position of the vehicle 101 in an emergency. In the example, the vehicle 101 and the remote station 102 comprise a respective device for transmitting the position of the vehicle 101 in an emergency. In one example, it is provided that the device for transmitting the position in the vehicle 101 includes an infotainment system of the vehicle 101 that is configured to receive the voice command and output the voice output. The device for transmitting the position in the vehicle 101 preferably comprises a navigation system of the vehicle 101 which is designed to provide the position of the vehicle to the infotainment system. In one example, it is provided that the device in the remote station 102 comprises an agent, wherein the agent is configured to issue the voice command. The agent may be a human or a computer capable of issuing voice commands. The voice command is, for example, "Hey<Pro>: Wo bist Du", where <Pro> includes a keyword to which the vehicle 101 acquires and processes a voice input. The specified position is, for example, "I bin<address>", where <address> comprises the road, house number, location, country or the geoposition in longitude and latitude.FIG. 2 shows steps of the method. The method is carried out in the event of an emergency. The emergency is detected either automatically by the vehicle 101 or by a person signalling the emergency, for example by the person actuating a button in the vehicle 101 which signals the emergency. In the event of an emergency, an emergency call is triggered in a step 201.In the case of an emergency call, a position of the vehicle 101 is sent from the vehicle 101 in text form by means of a data packet or a plurality of data packets to the remote station 102 in a step 202.In a step 203, it is determined that the remote station 102 has only incompletely received or has not received the position in text form.In a step 204, a speech connection for making contact with a person in the vehicle 101 is established between the vehicle 101 and the remote station 102.In a step 205, it is determined that no response from a human is received by the vehicle 101.In a step 206, a voice command for inquiring the position of the vehicle 101 is transmitted from the remote station 102 to the vehicle 101 via the speech connection between the vehicle 101 and the remote station 102.In a step 207, the position is notified by voice output in response to the voice command by the vehicle 101.In a step 208, the position output by voice output is sent to the remote station 102 via the speech connection. The position notified by voice in response to the voice command by the vehicle 101 is received from the remote station 102 through the speech connection.Preferably, the voice command is received by the infotainment system and the voice output is output by the infotainment system. The position of the vehicle is preferably provided to the infotainment system by a navigation system.References included in the specificationThis list of documents cited by the applicant has been produced in an automated manner and is only included for the better information of the reader.
