Detailed DescriptionA. First Embodiment:
[0039] Fig. 1 is an explanatory view illustrating a configuration of an order placing / receiving system 10 according to the first embodiment. The order placing / receiving system 10 includes an order placing device 100 that places orders for products, and an order accepting device 200 that accepts orders for products. The order placing device 100 and the order accepting device 200 are connected via a network NT. In the present embodiment, the product corresponds to a moving object. The moving object is a vehicle 300 configured to be moved by unmanned driving.
[0040] In the present invention, the "moving object" refers to an object that can move, such as a vehicle or an electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (so-called flying car). The vehicle may be a vehicle that travels on one wheel or a vehicle that travels on a continuous track or chain, and may be, for example, a passenger vehicle, a train, a bus, a two-wheeled vehicle, a four-wheeled vehicle, a construction vehicle, or a combat vehicle. The vehicle includes a battery electric vehicle (BEV), a gasoline vehicle, a hybrid vehicle, and a fuel cell vehicle. When the moving object is not a vehicle, the term "vehicle" or "car" in the present invention may be replaced with a "moving object" where appropriate, and the term "driving" may be replaced with "moving" where appropriate.
[0041] The vehicle 100 is configured to be capable of unmanned driving. "Unmanned driving" refers to driving independent of a driving operation by an occupant. The driving operation refers to an operation associated with at least one of "driving," "turning," and "stopping" the vehicle 100. Unmanned driving is realized through automatic remote control or manual remote control using a device provided outside the vehicle 100, or through autonomous control by the vehicle 100. A passenger who is not involved in the driving operation may be on board a vehicle that is driven or operated by unmanned driving.A non-driving passenger includes a person who simply sits in a seat of the vehicle 100 and a person who performs work on board the vehicle 100, such as assembling, testing, or operating switches, that are not related to driving. Driving by a driving operation by an occupant may also be referred to as "manned driving."
[0042] In this specification, "remote control" includes "full remote control" in which all movements of the vehicle 300 are completely determined from outside the vehicle 300, and "partial remote control" in which a portion of the movements of the vehicle 300 are determined from outside the vehicle 300. "Autonomous control" includes "fully autonomous control" in which the vehicle 300 autonomously controls a movement of the vehicle 300 without receiving any information from a device outside the vehicle 300, and "semi-autonomous control" in which the vehicle 300 autonomously controls a movement of the vehicle 300 using information received from a device outside the vehicle 300.
[0043] In the present embodiment, the order placement device 100 is installed at a dealership that sells the vehicle 300 and is operated by a salesperson or sales staff of the dealership. The order placement device 100 is configured as a computer including a processor 101, a memory 102, an input / output interface 103, and an internal bus 104. The processor 101, the memory 102, and the input / output interface 103 are bidirectionally communicatively connected to each other via the internal bus 104. The input / output interface 103 is connected to an input device 105 and a display device 106. The input device 105 is, for example, a keyboard or a mouse, and the display device 106 is, for example, a liquid crystal display. The input device 105 and the display device 106 may be integrated as a touch panel. The memory 102 stores a computer program PG1.
[0044] The processor 101 functions as a display control unit 110, a generation unit 120, and a transmission unit 130 by executing the computer program PG1. The display control unit 110 causes the display device 106 to display an order screen for accepting an order entry. Sales personnel can input order contents from a customer onto the order screen using the input device 105. The generation unit 120 generates order information including the order contents entered onto the order screen. In the present embodiment, the order information includes the order contents, information related to the customer, identification information of the merchant, and identification information of the salesperson who entered the order contents. The transmission unit 130 transmits the order information to the order acceptance device 200.
[0045] In the present embodiment, the order acceptance device 200 is arranged in a factory that manufactures the vehicle 300. The order acceptance device 200 manages the manufacture of the vehicle 300 in the factory according to the order content specified in the order information. The order acceptance device 200 is configured as a computer including a processor 201, a memory 202, an input / output interface 203, and an internal bus 204. The processor 201, the memory 202, and the input / output interface 203 are bidirectionally communicatively connected to each other via the internal bus 204. The input / output interface 203 is connected to a communication device 205, which communicates with the vehicle 300 through wireless communication. The memory 202 stores a computer program PG2 and a database DB.The database DB stores information relating to customers who have purchase receipts for products from a manufacturer of the vehicle 300. Note that the memory 202 is also referred to as a storage unit.
[0046] The processor 201 functions as a receiving unit 210, a determining device 220, and a deactivation command unit 230 by executing the computer program PG2. The receiving unit 210 receives the order information transmitted from the order placing device 100. The determining unit 220 determines, based on the order information, whether the vehicle 300 should be delivered in a state in which a remote control function of the vehicle 300 is activated or not. The remote control function of the vehicle 300 refers to a function of driving by remote control from the outside. The remote control function is used in a manufacturing process of the vehicle 300. The deactivation command unit 230 sends a deactivation command to the vehicle 300 for deactivating the remote control function of the vehicle 300 according to a determination result of the determining unit 220.
[0047] Fig. 2 is an explanatory view illustrating the configurations of the vehicle 300 and a remote control device 400. The vehicle 300 is configured to be remotely moved by the remote control device 400. Specifically, the vehicle 300 includes a drive device 310 that accelerates the vehicle 300, a steering device 320 that changes a traveling direction of the vehicle 300, a braking device 330 that decelerates the vehicle 300, a communication device 340 that communicates with the remote control device 400 through wireless communication, a vehicle control device 350 that controls each unit of the vehicle 300, and a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver 360 that acquires position information of the vehicle 300. In the present embodiment, the communication device 340 can also communicate with the order acceptance device 200 through wireless communication. The drive device 310 includes a battery, a motor driven using power from the battery, and drive wheels rotated by the motor.
[0048] The vehicle control device 350 is configured as a computer including a processor 351, a memory 352, an input / output interface 353, and an internal bus 354. The processor 351, the memory 352, and the input / output interface 353 are bidirectionally communicatively connected via the internal bus 354. The input / output interface 353 is connected to the drive device 310, the steering device 320, the braking device 330, the communication device 340, and the GNSS receiver 360.
[0049] The processor 351 functions as a deactivation execution unit 355 and a travel control unit 356 by executing a computer program PG3 stored in advance in the memory 352. The deactivation execution unit 355 switches an operating state of the vehicle control device 350 from an activated state in which a remote control command SS is accepted to a deactivated state in which the remote control command SS is not accepted. The travel control unit 356 performs travel control of the vehicle 300. "Travel control" refers, for example, to adjusting an acceleration, a speed, and a steering angle of the vehicle 300. The travel control unit 356 causes the vehicle 300 to travel by executing travel control, in other words, by controlling the drive device 310, the steering device 320, and the braking device 330.The travel control unit 356 can cause the vehicle 300 to travel by controlling the various devices 310 to 330 in response to an operation by a passenger when the passenger is in the vehicle 300. When the operating state of the vehicle control device 350 corresponds to the activated state, the travel control unit 356 can cause the vehicle 300 to travel by controlling the various devices 310 to 330 in response to the remote control command SS received from the remote control device 400, regardless of whether the passenger is in the vehicle 300 or not.
[0050] The vehicle control device 400 is configured as a computer including a processor 401, a memory 402, an input / output interface 403, and an internal bus 404. The processor 401, the memory 402, and the input / output interface 403 are bidirectionally communicatively connected to each other via the internal bus 404. The input / output interface 403 is connected to a communication device 405, which communicates with the vehicle 300 and cameras CM to be described later via wireless communication. The communication device 405 can communicate with the vehicle 300 via wireless communication and communicate with the cameras CM via wired communication. The processor 401 remotely controls the vehicle 300 by executing a computer program PG4 stored in advance in the memory 402.
[0051] Fig. 3A is an explanatory view showing how the vehicle 300 is driven or operated by remote control in a factory KJ. Fig. 3A illustrates two vehicles 300A and 300B. In the following description, the vehicles 300A and 300B are simply referred to as the vehicles 300 when there is no need to distinguish between the vehicles 300A and 300B. In the present embodiment, the factory KJ in which the vehicles 300 are manufactured includes a first location PL1 for performing assembly work on the vehicles 300 and a second location PL2 for inspecting the vehicles 300. The first location PL1 and the second location PL2 are connected by a lane SR on which the vehicles 300 can travel. The vehicle 300 is moved from the first location PL1 to the second location PL2 by remote control from the remote control device 400. The remote control device 400 determines a destination route for the vehicle 300 to travel along the lane SR toward a destination. In the present embodiment, the target route refers to a reference route which will be described later.A plurality of cameras CM capturing the lane SR are installed in the factory KJ, and the remote control device 400 can obtain a relative position and orientation of the vehicle 300 with respect to the target route in real time by analyzing a video captured by each camera CM. The remote control device 400 generates a remote control command to cause the vehicle 300 to travel along the target route and transmits the remote control command to the vehicle 300. In the present embodiment, the remote control command refers to the travel control signal to be described later. The vehicle control device 350 mounted on the vehicle 300 can cause the vehicle 300 to travel by controlling the drive device 310, the steering device 320, and the braking device 330 according to the received remote control command.Consequently, it is possible to remotely move the vehicle 300 from the first location PL1 to the second location PL2 without using a conveying device such as a crane or conveyor belt. In the present embodiment, the remote control device 400 can remotely control a plurality of the vehicles 300A and 300B simultaneously and in parallel.
[0052] Fig. 3B is a flowchart showing a processing flow for driving control of the vehicle 300 in the first embodiment. In step S1, the remote control device 400 acquires vehicle location information using a detection result output from an external sensor. The external sensor is located outside the vehicle 300. The vehicle location information is location information as a basis for generating a driving control signal. In the present embodiment, the vehicle location information includes the location and orientation of the vehicle 300 in a reference coordinate system of the factory KJ. In the present embodiment, the reference coordinate system of the factory KJ is a global coordinate system, and a location in the factory KJ can be expressed by X, Y, and Z coordinates in the global coordinate system. In the present embodiment, the external sensor is a camera CM that is installed in the factory KJ and outputs a captured image as a detection result. In step S1, the remote control device 400 acquires the vehicle location information using the captured image acquired by the camera CM as the external sensor.
[0053] Specifically, in step S1, the remote control device 400 determines, for example, the external shape of the vehicle 300 from the captured image, calculates the coordinates of a positioning point of the vehicle 300 in a coordinate system of the captured image, that is, in a local coordinate system, and converts the calculated coordinates into coordinates in the global coordinate system, thereby obtaining the location of the vehicle 300. The external shape of the vehicle 300 in the captured image can be detected by inputting the captured image into a detection model using, for example, artificial intelligence. The detection model is prepared or created in the order placing / receiving system 10 or outside the order placing / receiving system 10. The detection model is stored in advance, for example, in a memory 402 of the remote control device 400.An example of the detection model is a learned machine learning model that has been learned to realize either semantic segmentation or instance segmentation. For example, a convolutional neural network (CNN) learned through supervised learning using a training dataset is applicable as this machine learning model. The training dataset includes a plurality of training images including the vehicle 300 and a label indicating whether each region in the training image is a region indicating the vehicle 300 or a region indicating an object other than, for example, the vehicle 300. When training the CNN, a parameter for the CNN is preferably updated by backpropagation in such a way as to reduce an error between the output result obtained by the detection model and the label. The remote control device 400 may obtain the orientation of the vehicle 300 by estimating based on the direction of a motion vector of the vehicle 300 detected from a change in the position of a feature point of the vehicle 300 between frames of the captured images, for example, using an optical flow process.
[0054] In step S2, the remote control device 400 determines a destination to which the vehicle 300 should move next. In the present embodiment, the destination is expressed by X, Y, and Z coordinates in the global coordinate system. The memory 202 of the remote control device 400 contains a pre-stored reference route as a route along which the vehicle 300 should travel. The route is expressed by a node indicating a departure location, a node indicating a waypoint, a node indicating a destination, and a link connecting the nodes. The remote control device 400 determines the destination to which the vehicle 300 should move next using the vehicle location information and the reference route. The remote control device 400 determines the destination on the reference route as ahead of a current location of the vehicle 300.
[0055] In step S3, the remote control device 400 generates a travel control signal to cause the vehicle 300 to travel toward the specified destination. In the present embodiment, the travel control signal includes an acceleration and a steering angle of the vehicle 300 as parameters. The remote control device 400 calculates a travel speed of the vehicle 300 from a transition of the location of the vehicle 300 and compares the calculated travel speed with a predetermined target speed of the vehicle 300. If the travel speed is lower than the target speed, the remote control device 400 generally determines an acceleration such that the vehicle 300 is accelerated. If the travel speed is higher than the target speed, the remote control device 400 generally determines an acceleration such that the vehicle 300 is decelerated. If the vehicle 300 is on the reference route, the remote control device 400 determines a steering angle and acceleration such that the vehicle 300 cannot deviate from the reference route. If the vehicle 300 is not on the reference route, in other words, if the vehicle 300 deviates from the reference route, the remote control device 400 determines a steering angle and acceleration such that the vehicle 300 is returned to the reference route. In other embodiments, the driving control signal may include the speed of the vehicle 300 as a parameter instead of or in addition to the acceleration of the vehicle 300.
[0056] In step S4, the remote control device 400 transmits the generated travel control signal to the vehicle 300. The remote control device 400 repeats the acquisition of vehicle location information, the determination of a destination, the generation of a travel control signal, the transmission of the travel control signal, and the like in a predetermined cycle.
[0057] In step S5, the vehicle control device 350 of the vehicle 300 receives the travel control signal transmitted from the remote control device 400. In step S6, the vehicle control device 350 controls the drive device 310, the steering device 320, and the braking device using the received travel control signal, thereby causing the vehicle 300 to travel with the acceleration and steering angle indicated by the travel control signal. The vehicle control device 350 repeats the receipt of a travel control signal and the control over the drive device 310, the steering device 320, and the braking device in a predetermined cycle.
[0058] Fig. 4 is a first explanatory view showing a configuration of an order screen TG. Fig. Figure 5 is a second explanatory view showing the configuration of the order screen TG. The order screen TG is a graphical user interface that accepts orders. As shown in Fig. 4, the order screen TG includes an image display area R1, a body color selection area R2, a class selection area R3, and a remote control function selection area R4 for selecting the remote control function. The image display area R1 displays an image of the vehicle 300. The body color selection area R2 displays buttons for selecting a body color of the vehicle 300. The class selection area R3 displays buttons for selecting the class of the vehicle 300. The remote control function selection area R4 displays buttons for selecting the state of the remote control function of the vehicle 300 at the time of delivery to a dealer. The salesperson can select the body color, class, and state of the remote control function of a vehicle to be ordered by operating the input device 105 and pressing each button displayed on the order screen TG.
[0059] In the present embodiment, the state of the remote control function of the vehicle 300 at the time of delivery can be selected from the three states of "activate," "deactivate (reversible)," and "deactivate (irreversible)." If "activate" is selected, the vehicle 300 is delivered in a state in which the remote control of the vehicle 300 is activated. If "deactivate (reversible)" is selected, the vehicle 300 is delivered in a state in which the remote control function of the vehicle 300 is reversibly deactivated. If "deactivate (irreversible)" is selected, the vehicle 300 is delivered in a state in which the remote control function of the vehicle 300 is irreversibly deactivated. The reversibly disabled state means a state in which the remote control function is disabled in such a way that the remote control function can be re-enabled, and the irreversibly disabled state means that the remote control function is disabled in such a way that the remote control function cannot be re-enabled.
[0060] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 5, in the present embodiment, when "Activate" is selected in the remote control function selection area R4, a remote control device selection area R5 is displayed on the order screen TG. The remote control device selection area R5 displays buttons for selecting whether or not to purchase the remote control device 400 for remotely controlling the vehicle 300. If "Purchase" is selected, the remote control device 400 is ordered when ordering the vehicle 300. If "Do not purchase" is selected, the remote control device 400 is not ordered when ordering the vehicle 300.
[0061] Fig. 6 is a flowchart showing contents of order placement processing performed by the order placement device 100. Fig. 7 is a flowchart illustrating contents of order acceptance processing executed by the order acceptance device 200. Fig. Fig. 8 is a flowchart illustrating the contents of deactivation execution processing executed by the vehicle 300. An order placing / order accepting process executed by the order placing / order accepting system 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 6 to 8 described.
[0062] The Fig. The order placement processing shown in Fig. 6 is started when a predetermined start operation is performed on the order placement device 100. When the order placement processing is started, the display control unit 110 causes the display device 106 to display the order screen TG in step S110. In step S120, the display control unit 110 accepts the input of order contents via the order screen TG. In step S130, the generation unit 120 generates order information according to the order contents input to the order screen TG. In step S140, the transmission unit 130 transmits the order information to the order acceptance device 200. Then, the order placement device 100 completes the order placement processing. Note that a process executed by the order placement processing is also referred to as an order placement process.
[0063] The Fig. The order acceptance processing shown in Figure 7 is repeatedly executed by the order acceptance device 200. When the order acceptance processing is started, the receiving unit 210 determines whether the order information has been received in step S210. If it is not determined in step S210 that the order information has been received, the order acceptance device 200 ends the order acceptance processing. In a case where it is determined in step S210 that the order information has been received, the receiving unit 210 determines in step S220 whether "activate" has been selected for an item included in the order information and related to the remote control function of the vehicle 300.
[0064] In a case where it is determined in step S220 that "activate" has not been selected, the order information is passed from the receiving unit 210 to the deactivation command unit 230, and in step S225, the deactivation command unit 230 generates a deactivation command for deactivating the remote control function of the vehicle 300 that corresponds to the order. The deactivation command unit 230 generates a deactivation command for reversibly deactivating the remote control function in a case where it is determined that "deactivate (reversible)" has been selected, and generates a deactivation command for irreversibly deactivating the remote control function in a case where "deactivate (irreversible)" has been selected. In step S228, the deactivation command unit 230 transmits the deactivation command to the vehicle 300 that corresponds to the order. In the present embodiment, the order acceptance device 200 has a function of managing the production of the vehicle 300 in the factory, and thus can specify the vehicle 300 corresponding to the order. Then, the order acceptance device 200 completes the order acceptance processing.
[0065] In a case where it is determined in step S220 that "activate" has been selected, the order information is passed from the receiving unit 210 to the determining unit 220, and in step S230, the determining unit 220 determines whether the delivery of the vehicle 300 is valid or not in the state where the remote control function is activated. In the present embodiment, the determining unit 220 determines whether the delivery is valid or not using the database DB stored in the memory 202.Specifically, identification information of customers who have purchase receipts of the remote control devices 400 manufactured by the manufacturer of the vehicles 300 is registered in the database DB, and the determination unit 220 determines that the delivery is valid in a case where identification information of a customer included in the order information is registered in the database DB as the customer who has the purchase receipt of the remote control device 400.In a case where identification information of a customer included in the order information is registered in the database DB as the customer who has the purchase receipt of the remote control device 400, the determination unit 220 determines whether the delivery is valid or not by using information corresponding to an index related to whether the customer can properly operate the remote control of the vehicle 300 among information related to the customer included in the order information. For example, in a case where a customer who purchases the vehicle 300 is a corporate customer, the determination unit 220 determines that delivery is valid in a case where a customer size or the like (the number of members, a location, a founding date, a capital, and the like) satisfies a predetermined condition, and determines that delivery is not valid in a case where the predetermined condition is not met. In a case where a customer who placed an order is an individual customer, the determination unit 220 determines that delivery is valid in a case where the customer's age, address, and family members meet a predetermined condition, and determines that delivery is not valid in a case where the predetermined condition is not met.Information related to the size of corporate customers or the like, and information related to the age of individual customers or the like can be input from the order placing device 100. If it is determined in step S230 that the delivery is valid, the order accepting device 200 completes the order acceptance processing. If it is not determined in step S230 that the delivery is valid, the determining unit 220 transmits a notification indicating that the delivery is not valid to the order placing device 100 in step S235 and then terminates the order accepting processing. In this case, the order placing device 100 causes the display device 106 to display a notification screen to transmit a notification indicating that it has been determined that the delivery is not valid.
[0066] The Fig. The deactivation execution processing shown in FIG. 8 is repeatedly executed by the deactivation execution unit 355 of the vehicle 300 while the remote control of the vehicle 300 is activated. When the deactivation execution processing is started, the deactivation execution unit 355 determines whether or not the deactivation command has been received in step S310. If it is not determined in step S310 that the deactivation command has been received, the deactivation execution unit 355 ends the deactivation execution processing. If it is determined in step S310 that the deactivation command has been received, the deactivation execution unit 355 deactivates the remote control function in step S320.In the present embodiment, the deactivation execution unit 355 stops accepting the remote control command when the deactivation command for reversibly deactivating the remote control function is received, and deletes a remote control program from the memory 352 of the vehicle control device 350 when a deactivation command for irreversibly deactivating the remote control function is received. When reversibly deactivating the remote control, the deactivation execution unit 355 can render the remote control unusable as long as it has been cleared whether an authorization to activate the remote control has been obtained. In a case where a relay that is irreversibly opened or closed is provided between the vehicle control device 350 and the communication device 340, the deactivation execution unit 355 can irreversibly deactivate the remote control by opening or closing the relay and blocking the connection between the vehicle control device 350 and the communication device 340. The deactivation execution unit 355 can irreversibly deactivate the remote control by blowing a circuit with a current. In the present embodiment, the GNSS receiver 360 is mounted on the vehicle 300, and a memory of the vehicle control device 350 stores geofence information indicating a range of a geofence area. The geofence area corresponds to an area surrounded by a geofence, which corresponds to a virtual fence. In the present embodiment, the geofence is provided to surround the factory KJ. The deactivation execution unit 355 determines whether the vehicle 300 is outside the geofence area using position information and the geofence information obtained from the GNSS receiver 360, and deactivates the remote control function when it is determined that the vehicle 300 is outside the geofence area. Then, the deactivation execution unit 355 terminates the deactivation execution processing.
[0067] Fig.9 is an explanatory view schematically illustrating how the vehicle 300 is ordered and delivered to a dealer. A dealer DR1, who has accepted an order from a customer CS1 for the vehicle 300 in a state where the remote control function is irreversibly disabled, selects "deactivate (irreversible)" on an order screen TG of an order placing device 100A, and the order placing device 100A transmits order information ZH1 to the order accepting device 200. The factory KJ manufactures the vehicle 300A according to the order information ZH1. The vehicle 300A transmits a deactivation command MS1 for irreversibly deactivating the remote control function. The vehicle 300A for which the remote control function has been irreversibly disabled is delivered to the dealer DR1 and handed over to the customer CS1.
[0068] A dealer DR2, who has accepted an order from a customer CS2 for the vehicle 300 in a state where the remote control function is reversibly disabled, selects "deactivate (reversible)" on the order screen TG of an order placing device 100B, and the order placing device 100B transmits order information ZH2 to the order accepting device 200. The factory KJ manufactures the vehicle 300B according to the order information ZH2. The vehicle 300B transmits a deactivation command MS2 for reversibly deactivating the remote control function. The vehicle 300B, for which the remote control function has been reversibly disabled, is delivered to the dealer DR2 and handed over to the customer CS2.
[0069] A dealer DR3, who has accepted an order for the vehicle 300 from a customer CS3 in a state where the remote control function is enabled, selects "activate" on the order screen TG of an order placing device 100C, and the order placing device 100C transmits order information ZH3 to the order accepting device 200. The customer CS3 is, for example, a corporate body that operates a park, college, or airport and purchases the vehicle 300 to drive it by remote control on a regular route in the park, college, or airport. The factory KJ manufactures a vehicle 300C according to the order information ZH3. The vehicle 300C is delivered to the dealer DR3 in a state where the remote control function is enabled and handed over to the customer CS3.When “purchase” of the remote control device 400 is selected on the order screen TG of the order placing device 100C, the vehicle 300C and additionally the remote control device 400 are manufactured, and the vehicle 300C and the remote control device 400 are delivered to the dealer DR3 and handed over to the customer CS3.
[0070] According to the order placing / receiving system 10 according to the present embodiment described above, the display control unit 110 of the order placing device 100 causes the display device 106 to display the order screen TG, which allows the state of the remote control function of the vehicle 300 at the time of delivery to be selected from three options: "enable," "deactivate (reversible)," and "deactivate (irreversible)." Thus, it is possible to provide the vehicle 300 to the customer in a state that meets the customer's requirements.
[0071] Furthermore, in the present embodiment, in a case where "activate" is selected on the order screen TG, it is possible to select "purchase" the remote control device 400 on the order screen TG. Consequently, it is possible to provide the customer with the vehicle 300 and, in addition, the remote control device 400 for remotely controlling the vehicle 300.
[0072] Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the determination unit 220 of the order acceptance device 200 determines whether or not to accept an order for which "activate" has been selected. The determination unit 220 determines that the order is accepted in a case where identification information of a customer included in the order information is registered in the database DB as the customer who has the purchase receipt of the remote control device 400. Consequently, it is possible to provide the vehicle 300 in a state where the remote control function is activated only to a customer to whom delivery of the vehicle 300 is permitted in the state where the remote control function is activated, as a person who can properly operate the remote control function of the vehicle 300.Furthermore, in a case where a customer who purchases the vehicle 300 is not registered in the database DB, the determination unit 220 determines whether the customer is a person who can properly operate the remote controller using various pieces of information related to the customer, and determines to accept an order if it is determined that the customer is designated as the person who can properly operate the remote controller. Therefore, it is possible to provide the vehicle 300 in the state where the remote controller function is enabled only to a customer who is certified as a person who can properly operate a remote controller.
[0073] In the present embodiment, when "deactivate (reversible)" is selected on the order screen TG, the order accepting device 200 that has received the order information sends a deactivation command to reversibly deactivate the remote control function to the vehicle 300. When "deactivate (irreversible)" is selected on the order screen TG, the order accepting device 200 that has received the order information sends a deactivation command to irreversibly deactivate the remote control function to the vehicle 300. The vehicle 300 that has received the deactivation command reversibly or irreversibly deactivates the remote control function according to the deactivation command. Consequently, it is possible to automatically deactivate the remote control function of the vehicle 300 according to the order content of the vehicle 300. B. Further embodiment:
[0074] (B1) In the order placing / receiving system 10 according to the first embodiment described above, the deactivation execution unit 355 deactivates the remote control function of the vehicle 300 when it is determined that the vehicle 300 is outside the geofence area. In contrast, the vehicle 300 may include a timer, and the deactivation execution unit 355 may deactivate the remote control function of the vehicle 300 at a time when the timer detects that a predetermined period of time has elapsed after receiving the deactivation command. In this case, it is possible to adjust the timing at which the remote control function of the vehicle 300 is deactivated.
[0075] (B2) In the order placing / receiving system 10 according to the first embodiment described above, a laser oscillator that oscillates laser light of a predetermined wavelength is installed in the factory KJ, the vehicle 300 includes a detector that detects the laser light of the above wavelength, and the deactivation execution unit 355 can deactivate the remote control function of the vehicle 300 at a time when the detector detects the laser light. In this case, it is possible to deactivate the remote control function of the vehicle 300 at a time when the vehicle 300 passes a location where the laser oscillator is installed. Note that an electromagnetic wave other than the laser light can be used to deactivate the remote control function of the vehicle 300. For example, a microwave oven can be used to deactivate the remote control function of the vehicle 300.
[0076] (B3) In the order placing / receiving system 10 according to the first embodiment described above, the vehicle 300 may include a communication device that communicates with other vehicles around the own vehicle. The vehicle 300 may be configured to send signals to the other vehicles when the remote control device of the own vehicle is deactivated, and the deactivation execution unit 355 may deactivate the remote control function of the own vehicle at a time when signals are received from the other vehicles. In this case, it is possible to collectively deactivate the remote control functions of the plurality of vehicles 300 by deactivating the remote control function of one of the plurality of vehicles 300.
[0077] (B4) In the order placing / receiving system 10 according to the first embodiment described above, when "Enable" is selected in the remote control function selection area R4 of the order screen TG, the remote control device selection area R5 is displayed on the order screen TG. Conversely, the remote control device selection area R5 may not be displayed on the order screen TG.
[0078] (B5) In the order placing / receiving system 10 according to the first embodiment described above, when "Disable (Reversible)" is selected in the remote control function selection area R4 of the order screen TG, buttons for selecting whether or not to purchase a device that resets the remote control function to the enabled state may be displayed on the order screen TG. In this case, it is possible to provide a customer who purchases the vehicle 300 whose remote control function has been reversibly disabled with a device that resets the remote control function of the vehicle 300 to the enabled state.
[0079] (B6) In the order placement / receipt system 10 according to the first embodiment described above, the remote control function of the vehicle 300 is reversibly deactivated when the order information indicates that "deactivate (reversible)" has been selected, and the remote control function of the vehicle 300 is irreversibly deactivated when the order information indicates that "deactivate (irreversible)" has been selected. In contrast, the manufacturing process of the vehicle 300 includes a process of reversibly deactivating the remote control function of the vehicle 300, and when the order information indicates that "activate" has been selected, the remote control function of the vehicle 300 can be activated.
[0080] (B7) In the order placing / receiving system 10 according to the first embodiment described above, the determination unit 220 is provided at the order receiving device 200. On the other hand, the determination unit 220 may be provided at the order placing device 100 instead of the order receiving device 200. In this case, during order placing processing, before transmitting the order information to the order receiving device 200, the determination unit 220 of the order placing device 100 may determine whether the delivery of the vehicle 300 is valid or not in a state where the remote control function of the vehicle 300 is activated. The determination unit 220 may transmit the order information to the order receiving device 200 when it is determined that the delivery is valid, and cause the display device 106 to display a notification screen for transmitting a notification indicating that the delivery is not valid when it is determined that the delivery is not valid. Furthermore, the order placing / order receiving system 10 may not be provided with the determination unit 220.
[0081] (B8) In the first embodiment described above, the vehicle 300 may be sold in the form of a platform, and a customer may complete the vehicle 300 purchased in the form of the platform as a finished vehicle. In this case, the customer may move the vehicle 300 by remotely driving the vehicle 300 in a dedicated factory without using a conveying device such as a crane or a conveyor belt.
[0082] (B9) In the first embodiment described above, the external sensor is not limited to the camera but may be, for example, the distance measuring device. The distance measuring device is, for example, a light detection and ranging (LiDAR) device. In this case, the detection result output by the external sensor may correspond to three-dimensional point cloud data representing the vehicle 300. The remote control device 400 and the vehicle 300 may acquire the vehicle location information through template matching using the three-dimensional point cloud data as the detection result and, for example, reference point cloud data.
[0083] (B10) In the first embodiment described above, the remote control device 400 performs the processing from acquiring the vehicle location information to generating a travel control signal. In contrast, the vehicle 300 may perform at least part of the processing from acquiring the vehicle location information to generating a travel control signal. For example, the embodiments (1) to (3) described below are applicable.
[0084] (1) The remote control device 400 may acquire vehicle location information, determine a destination to which the vehicle 300 should next move, and generate a route from a current location of the vehicle 300 indicated by the acquired vehicle location information to the destination. The remote control device 400 may generate a route to the destination between the current location and a destination, or generate a route to the destination. The remote control device 400 may transmit the generated route to the vehicle 300. The vehicle 300 may generate a travel control signal so that the vehicle 300 is caused to travel along the route received from the remote control device 400 and an actuator is controlled using the generated travel control signal.
[0085] (2) The remote control device 400 may acquire vehicle location information and transmit the acquired vehicle location information to the vehicle 300. The vehicle 300 may determine a destination to which the vehicle 300 should next move, generate a route from a current location of the vehicle 300 indicated by the received vehicle location information to the destination, generate a travel control signal such that the vehicle 300 is caused to travel along the generated route, and control an actuator using the generated travel control signal.
[0086] (3) In the above embodiments (1) and (2), an internal sensor may be mounted on the vehicle 300, and a detection result output from the internal sensor may be used in route generation and / or the generation of the travel control signal. The internal sensor corresponds to a sensor mounted on the vehicle 300. Specifically, the internal sensor may include, for example, a camera, a LiDAR, a millimeter-wave radar, an ultrasonic sensor, a GPS sensor, an acceleration sensor, and a gyroscope sensor. For example, in the above embodiment (1), the remote control device 400 may acquire a detection result from the internal sensor and reflect the detection result from the internal sensor in the route when creating the route. In the above embodiment (1), the vehicle 300 can acquire a detection result from the internal sensor and, when generating the travel control signal, reflect the detection result from the internal sensor in the travel control signal. In the above embodiment (2), the vehicle 300 can acquire a detection result from the internal sensor and, when generating the route, reflect the detection result from the internal sensor in the route. In the above embodiment (2), the vehicle 300 can acquire a detection result from the internal sensor and, when generating the travel control signal, reflect the detection result from the internal sensor in the travel control signal.
[0087] (B11) In the first embodiment described above, the remote control device 400 automatically generates a travel control signal to be transmitted to the vehicle 300. In contrast, the remote control device 400 may generate a travel control signal to be transmitted to the vehicle 300 in response to the operation by an external operator located outside the vehicle 300.For example, the external operator may operate an operation device including a display on which a captured image output from the external sensor is displayed, a steering, an accelerator pedal, and a brake pedal for remotely operating the vehicle 300, and a communication device for establishing communication with the remote control device 400, for example, through wired communication or wireless communication, and the remote control device 400 may generate a travel control signal in response to the operation on the operation device.
[0088] (B12) In the first embodiment described above, the vehicle 300 only needs to have a configuration such that it can be moved by unmanned driving. For example, the vehicle 300 may be implemented as a platform having the following configuration. The vehicle 300 only needs to include at least actuators and a controller. Specifically, the actuators may include a drive device, a steering device, and a braking device to perform the three functions of "driving," "turning," and "stopping" by unmanned driving. The actuators are controlled by the controller that controls the travel of the vehicle 300. Furthermore, in order for the vehicle 300 to acquire external information for unmanned driving, the vehicle 300 only needs to include the communication device.Specifically, in order to be mobile through unmanned driving, the vehicle 300 does not need to be equipped with at least some interior components, such as a driver's seat and a dashboard, does not need to be equipped with at least some exterior components, such as a bumper and a fender, or does not need to be equipped with a body shell. In such cases, a remaining component, such as a body shell, may be mounted on the vehicle 300 before the vehicle 300 is shipped from the factory KJ, or a remaining component, such as a body shell, may be mounted on the vehicle 300 after the vehicle 300 is shipped from the factory KJ, while the remaining component, such as a body shell, was not mounted on the vehicle 300. Each of the components may be mounted on the vehicle 300 from any direction, for example, from above, from below, from the front, from the rear, from the right, or from the left.Alternatively, these components can be mounted from the same direction or from different directions. The location determination for the platform can be performed in the same way as for the vehicle 300 in the first embodiments.
[0089] (B13) The vehicle 300 can be manufactured by combining a plurality of modules. The module represents a unit constructed from one or more components grouped according to a configuration or function of the vehicle 300. For example, a platform of the vehicle 300 can be manufactured by combining a front module, a center module, and a rear module. The front module forms a front part of the platform, the center module forms a middle part of the platform, and the rear module forms a rear part of the platform. The number of modules constituting the platform is not limited to three, but may be equal to or less than two, or equal to or greater than four. In addition to the platform, or instead of the platform, any parts of the vehicle 300 other than the platform may be modularized. The various modules may comprise any exterior component, such as a front or rear module.a bumper or a grill, or any interior component, such as a seat or a console. Not only the vehicle 300, but also any type of moving object can be manufactured by combining a plurality of modules. For example, such a module can be manufactured by joining a plurality of components by welding or using a fastener, or can be manufactured by integrally forming at least a portion of the module as a single component by casting. A process for forming at least a portion of a module as a single component is also referred to as giga-casting or mega-casting. In giga-casting, any part conventionally formed by joining multiple parts in a moving object can be formed as a single component. The front module, the middle module or the rear module as described above can be manufactured using Giga-Casting, for example.
[0090] (B14) A configuration for realizing vehicle driving by unmanned driving is also called a "remote control car driving system." Transportation of a vehicle using a remote control car driving system is also called "self-driving transportation." Manufacturing of the vehicle using a self-driving transportation is also called "self-driving production." In self-driving production, for example, at least part of the transportation of vehicles is realized by a self-driving transportation in a factory where the vehicle is manufactured.
