Abstract
To provide a method for operating a driver assistance system which enables optimized handling of obstacles along a trajectory, a method is proposed for operating a driver assistance system (10) of a vehicle (100) comprising the following steps: - Guiding (A) the vehicle (100) along a trajectory learned by the driver assistance system (10), - Detecting (B) at least one unknown obstacle (13, 14) along the trajectory, wherein the obstacle (13, 14) was not detected at the time of learning the trajectory, and - Either issuing (C1) a query to a driver of the vehicle (100) regarding the implementation of a measure to handle the unknown obstacle by the driver assistance system (10), and / or - Editing (C2) the trajectory in a communication device (15) by the driver.
