Abstract
The invention relates to an accommodative intraocular lens comprising: - a fluid lens with an optical axis, wherein the fluid lens comprises: ◯ a first lens ring with a top, a bottom, and a lens outer wall, wherein a first cavity filled with fluid is located between the first lens ring and the lens outer wall; ◯ a first lens component comprising a first lens membrane and a second lens membrane enclosing a second cavity at least partially filled with fluid, wherein a third cavity is provided between the first cavity and the second cavity, connecting the first cavity to the second cavity; - an actuator formed in a ring shape around a central axis, wherein the actuator comprises: ◯ a first contact element configureda first proximal end of a contact element is configured to exert an axial pressure parallel to the optical axis on the upper surface of the first lens ring; a second contact element is configured to exert an axial pressure parallel to the optical axis on the underside of the first lens ring with its second proximal end; a third contact element is configured to exert a radial pressure on the outer surface of the lens with its third proximal end, depending on the position of the first and second contact elements.
