Abstract

A method (200) of a control system (550) for regulating the vehicle speed v of a vehicle (500) is presented. The method comprises: regulating (230) the vehicle speed v in the direction of an adapted reference speed vref_adj based on: a reference speed vref provided by a cruise control system (551) of the vehicle (500); and a line of sight through at least one curve (620) of a road ahead of the vehicle (500). This reduces the risk of the driver disabling the cruise control system.
