[1] A protective equipment system comprising: a protective helmet configured to be worn by one person; and a user profile tag that is paired with the protective helmet, wherein the user profile tag is configured to electronically identify the person wearing the protective helmet by scanning it. [2] The protective equipment system according to claim 1, wherein the user profile tag is rigidly coupled to the protective helmet. [3] The protective equipment system according to claim 2, wherein the user profile tag is coupled to the protective helmet via an adhesive.
