CUTTING CLAMP CONTACT CONNECTION

Abstract

An insulation displacement contact (IDC) connector for electrical connection with a magnet wire has a solder lug that is coupled to a printed circuit board (PCB) of an installation target device, a solder stud that is inserted into a terminal block for coupling the magnet wire, and a projection that extends outwards at a boundary between the solder lug and the solder stud. The solder stud has an IDC slot designed for coupling with the magnet wire along the direction in which the IDC connector is inserted into the terminal block, and a plurality of teeth formed on both sides of a region adjacent to the projection for attachment to an inner surface of the terminal block.
