Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a dispensing system for dispensing a flowable product from a tubular package, which contains a first end, a second end and a central axis, wherein at least the first end of the tubular package is closed by means of at least one clip. The invention further relates to a packaging arrangement for storing and dispensing a flowable filling material and to a dispensing unit for dispensing a flowable filling material from a tubular packaging. In particular, the present invention relates to a dispensing system for dispensing a flowable filling material, such as flowable chemical products, for example sealing and / or adhesive agents, flowable food, for example sauces, flowable medical products etc., from a preferably tubular and more preferably fluid-tight packaging, which has a first end, a second end and a central axis, wherein at least the first end of the tubular packaging is closed by means of at least one clip. The at least one clip made of metal or plastic can have been placed by means of a clip machine which also enables the filling of the tubular packaging. The tubular packaging can in turn either be supplied to the clipping machine in a prefabricated manner, for example in the form of a gathered film tube, or be produced within the clipping machine from a suitable flat material, such as a film material. In practice, tubular packaging for flowable filling materials, such as silicone, adhesives or the like, is known. For dispensing the filling material from such a known packaging, in addition to the mere manual pressing out, additional auxiliary means, such as a pressing gun, can be used. The production of such tubular packaging filled with filling material is usually carried out by filling a tubular packaging material, which can be produced as explained above and which is closed at one end by means of a closure element, such as a clip, with the flowable filling material. The filled tubular packaging sleeve is then necked, whereby an at least approximately filling-material-free tuft is produced. A further clip is placed on this box and sealed, and the tubular packaging thus produced is separated from the remaining tubular packaging material. In this case, a dispensing device, such as a dispensing tip, can be attached to the tubular packaging. The problem with these known tubular packaging is that they must be opened before the filling material contained therein is used, with the risk that their contents will unintentionally escape before the actual use. If a dispensing tip is already attached to the tubular package, opening the package is difficult or requires a separate opening tool, such as a correspondingly shaped blade. It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a dispensing system for dispensing a flowable filling material from a tubular packaging, a packaging arrangement for storing and dispensing a flowable filling material and a dispensing unit for dispensing a flowable filling material from a tubular packaging, which dispensing system overcome the aforementioned disadvantages and simplifies handling, in particular when opening the packaging before the first use of the filling material.According to the present invention, a dispensing system for dispensing a flowable filling material from a tubular packaging, which contains or has a first end, a second end and a central axis, wherein at least the first end of the tubular packaging is closed by means of at least one clip, preferably made of metal or plastic, wherein the dispensing system can comprise: a receiving unit, which contains: a first section, which has a first end, a second end and a receiving space, which extends from the first end, for receiving at least a section of the tubular packaging, preferably the first end of the tubular packaging, and which further contains: a second section, which adjoins the second end of the first section in particular in a fluid-tight manner, and a dispensing opening, which is arranged eccentrically with respect to the central axis of the tubular packaging. The dispensing system can further comprise: a dispensing unit which can be attached to the receiving unit in a fluid-tight manner, in particular, and which contains: a first section, a second section which adjoins the first section in a fluid-tight manner, in particular, and at least one channel which extends through the first and second sections and has at the free end of the first section at least one inlet opening for receiving the filling material located in the tubular packaging and at the free end of the second section at least one outlet or discharge opening for discharging the filling material guided through the channel. The dispensing unit can be attached to the receiving unit such that at least one section of the dispensing unit, preferably the first section, is aligned at least approximately coaxially with the eccentrically arranged dispensing opening of the receiving unit, such that the flowable filling material can flow through the channel from the inlet opening to the outlet opening. The dispensing unit can furthermore have at least one opening element for tearing open the packaging in the region of the free end of the first section. The dispensing opening of the receiving unit, which is arranged eccentrically with respect to the central axis of the first section, and the dispensing unit, which can be arranged coaxially with this dispensing opening, enable the tubular packaging to be opened in the edge region of its first end accommodated in the receiving space of the receiving unit without the opening operation being impeded by the clip, by means of which the first end of the packaging is closed, or the opening element of the dispensing unit being blocked or damaged. Furthermore, it can be avoided that the clip or any residues of the packaging material are discharged together with the filling material or block the discharge opening. The at least one channel or the plurality of channels of the dispenser unit for guiding the flowable filling material can be formed by one or more through-holes or through-recesses. The cross section of the channel can be circular, oval or polygonal. However, any other cross-sectional shape can also be provided, for example if a certain shape is to be impressed on the filling material as it exits. Also, the cross-section of the one or more channels may change along the one or more longitudinal axes.It is particularly advantageous if at least one section of the dispensing unit, preferably the first section, can be inserted into the dispensing opening of the receiving unit. In addition to a compact design of the dispensing system, this also enables reliable guidance of the filling material from the tubular packaging to the dispensing opening of the receiving unit or the outlet opening of the dispensing unit.In a preferred embodiment of the dispensing system according to the invention, the dispensing unit attached or arranged on the receiving unit can be moved from a first position into a second position by a preferably at least approximately linear relative movement between the dispensing unit and the tubular packaging, wherein in the second position the at least one opening element of the dispensing unit tears open the packaging located in the receiving space of the receiving unit with its first end. The preferably linear relative movement of the dispensing unit in the direction of the tubular packaging, i.e. counter to the flow direction of the flowable filling material, tears open the packaging. Alternatively, the packaging can also be moved towards the dispensing unit, in particular towards the opening element, preferably linearly, i.e. in the flow direction of the flowable filling material. A movement of the packaging in the direction of the opening element can be effected, in addition to a movement by hand, for example with a corresponding device for facilitating dispensing, such as a dispensing gun.By providing the first and second position, it can be ensured that the tubular packaging is not opened until the dispensing unit has been moved into the second position. The first position of the dispensing unit may identify a position in which the tubular packaging can be handled without it being opened accidentally, such as for example for transport or sale thereof. The first position can be selected such that it is easily recognizable from the outside, so that the user can immediately determine whether the tubular packages have already been opened or not yet been opened. The first position also offers the possibility of arranging an originality label, such as an originality ring, for example between the dispensing unit and the receiving unit, which is to be removed from the user before the dispensing unit is moved relative to the first position into the second position. In addition to the position of the dispenser unit in the second position, alternatively or additionally the absence of the originality identification can indicate to the user that the tubular packaging is already open.In order to reliably prevent undesired opening of the tubular packaging, it can further be provided according to the invention that a positioning device for releasably holding the dispensing unit in the first position is arranged on the first section of the dispensing unit. This positioning device may be sufficient alone, but may also cooperate with a counter positioning device on the receiving unit. The positioning device can be designed differently. In one embodiment, a bead which extends circumferentially at least in sections can be provided, which secures the dispensing unit in the first position, but the holding force of which can be overcome with a certain exertion of force during the relative movement of the dispenser unit with respect to the tubular packaging. In conjunction with the second position, it can be provided that the reaching thereof by the preferably at least approximately axial or linear relative movement of the dispensing unit with respect to the tubular packaging is not only visually perceptible to the user, but is also recognizable to the user by an audible sound, such as a click sound, when the second position is reached. In a further embodiment, a ring arranged on the first section can be provided. This can be designed as a tear strip which has to be removed from the user before the dispensing unit is moved into the second position. However, it can also be a ring of this type which can only be removed if the dispensing unit has been previously removed from the receiving unit.Furthermore, it can be provided according to the invention that a preferably fluid-tight connecting device for the non-positive and / or positive, preferably fluid-tight, connection of the dispensing unit to the receiving unit is arranged between the first and second sections of the dispensing unit. Such a connecting device prevents the undesired removal of the dispensing unit from the receiving unit, and thus prevents undesired discharge of filling material through the receiving unit. The connecting devices can cooperate with a counter-connecting device on the receiving unit. The connecting device can be designed such that the dispensing unit cannot be removed from the receiving unit, but can only be placed by means of the preferably at least approximately linear relative movement with respect to the receiving unit.It may also be desirable for the connecting device to produce a releasable connection between the dispensing unit and the receiving unit. If a releasable connection is desired, a latching mechanism which is easy to release, such as a bead which engages in a groove on the receiving unit, or mutually corresponding rat elements, can be provided, for example. If, on the other hand, a non-detachable connection is to be produced, interlocking elements can be provided, for example, which cannot be detached from one another in a non-destructive manner. In a simple embodiment, the connecting device can be designed as a snap connection. The connecting device can comprise, for example, a circumferential edge or other suitable, intermeshing elements on the dispensing unit and the receiving unit.In an advantageous embodiment of the dispensing system according to the invention, it can be provided that the outer cross-sectional shape of at least the first section of the dispensing unit corresponds to the cross-section of the eccentrically arranged discharge opening of the second section of the receiving unit for the preferably fluid-tight insertion of the dispensing unit into the discharge opening of the second section of the receiving unit. The matching cross sections of the dispensing unit and of the receiving unit prevent undesired discharge of filling material between these units. The undesired escape of filling material can be further supported by an additionally provided sealing device between at least the first section of the dispensing unit and the receiving unit. The cross-sectional shapes can be selected approximately as desired and can be round or have any shape deviating therefrom. However, it is advantageous if the cross-sectional shape is not round, but is, for example, oval, triangular or quadrilateral or polygonal. A non-round cross-sectional shape prevents the dispenser unit from rotating about its longitudinal axis, and thus facilitates the closing of, in particular, the outlet opening of the dispenser unit if, for example, a screw closure is provided. The at least one opening element for opening the tubular packaging can be configured differently and can have, for example, a blade-like shape with a tip pointing in the direction of the tubular packaging. In a preferred embodiment, it is provided that the opening element is formed by at least one at least approximately conical or needle-shaped tip for puncturing the casing of the tubular packaging. This permits simple opening of the tubular packaging during a linear relative movement of the dispensing unit with respect to the tubular packaging during insertion into the receiving unit. In principle, however, it is also possible for a plurality of opening elements, for example a plurality of blades or a plurality of conical or needle-shaped tips, to be provided. In a further preferred embodiment, a closing element can be releasably arranged at the free end of the second section of the dispensing unit. This prevents the dispensing material from leaking after the tubular packaging has been opened and also prevents impurities from entering the dispensing unit. The closing element can be realized in various ways. In one embodiment, it can be a closure cap with an internal thread which interacts with an external thread corresponding thereto, preferably at the dispensing opening of the dispensing unit. However, a simple cap can also be provided, which can be attached to the dispensing unit by a snap-in mechanism. Alternatively, however, a stopper can also be provided, which is inserted into the dispensing opening of the dispensing unit. It is likewise possible for the closing element to be connected to the dispensing unit and / or the receiving unit such that it cannot be lost after the closing element has been removed from the dispensing unit.Furthermore, it can advantageously be provided that the receiving unit and / or the dispenser unit has at least one preferably machine-readable or electronically readable information carrier in which information, preferably relating to the filling material, can be stored.Such information may be used to identify the contents of the package, the manufacturer, or the distribution route. Additional, in particular product-related information, such as processing instructions can also be contained.Depending on the type and quantity of information to be stored or the type of reading out of this information and its further processing, different types of information carriers can be used. In the simplest case, labels which can be read by the human eye can be used. However, they can also be machine-readable or electronically writable and readable information carriers which comprise, for example, a barcode, an RFID chip or an NFC chip. Such machine-readable or electronically readable information carriers can be mounted concealed in order to protect them from damage, such as for example in the interior of the closure element. It is also possible for an information carrier to be arranged in a region of the dispenser unit or the receiving unit that is inaccessible from the outside. If the tubular packaging is closed by means of a metal clip, it is advantageous if the machine-readable or electronically readable information carrier is arranged as far as possible at a distance from the end position of the tubular packaging accommodated in the receiving unit. For example, a wall section of the dispensing unit or of the receiving unit can be of double-walled design, forming a gap, wherein the information carrier can be inserted into the gap formed by the two walls. If a plurality of information carriers are provided, these can be arranged either in the same manner on the dispensing unit, the receiving unit or the closing element or else in different ways.In a further advantageous manner, it can be provided that the receiving unit and / or the dispensing unit have at least one membrane. For example, a retaining device can be provided in the region of the outlet or dispensing opening of the dispensing unit in order to prevent unintentional discharge of filling material. The retaining device can be designed as a diaphragm valve, which allows a passage of filling material only from a specific pressure. Thus, only by intentionally generating pressure can filling material be dispensed by the dispensing system. In a preferred embodiment of the inventive dispensing system, it can be provided that the second section of the receiving unit has the shape of an oblique cone, which adjoins the second end of the first section preferably in a fluid-tight manner with its circular base surface, and the eccentrically arranged opening for receiving the dispensing unit is arranged at the tip of said oblique cone. The cone can taper in a uniform or non-uniform manner. In such an arrangement, the dispensing opening of the dispensing unit is located close to the edge of the dispensing system, which can facilitate a targeted dispensing of the filling material. In particular, in the case of application cases in which the space available for the introduction of the filling material is limited, this configuration can ensure that the filling material can nevertheless be introduced in the desired quantity in situ.In the oblique configuration, it can furthermore be provided that a through-recess or a channel extends from the eccentrically arranged discharge opening into the second section of the receiving unit and parallel to its central axis. This through-recess can serve to receive the dispensing unit and support it in its first and / or second position, and make the opening process more secure. The inner cross section of the through-recess should at least approximately correspond to the outer cross section of the dispensing unit in order to ensure a secure guidance.Furthermore, it can be provided that in the region between the first section and the second section of the dispensing unit, an outer circumferential edge is arranged, which has a latching element, which interacts with a counter latching element at the eccentrically arranged outlet opening of the second section of the dispensing unit. This edge or the latching element and the counter-latching element can form a positioning device for releasably holding the dispensing unit in the first position. The edge can also be designed as a bead which extends all around at least in sections and interacts with a groove corresponding thereto. In a further embodiment of the dispensing system according to the invention, it can be provided that a separating wall is preferably arranged in a fluid-tight manner between the first and the second section of the receiving unit, in which separating wall the opening, which is aligned eccentrically with respect to the central axis of the receiving unit, is arranged for receiving the dispensing unit. Such a partition wall can serve for positioning the first end of the tubular packaging in the receiving unit, in that said first end limits the insertion depth of the tubular packaging. If the tubular packaging is closed at least at its first end by means of a clip, a central opening can furthermore be provided in the dividing wall, through which opening the closed first end of the packaging, and in particular the clip located thereon, extends. This enables a precise positioning of the tubular packaging in the receiving unit and a correspondingly precise opening operation which is not impaired by the clip.Furthermore, it can advantageously be provided that the dispensing unit is formed in one piece. The one-piece configuration can be effected in that the individual elements of the dispensing unit are preferably connected to one another in a fluid-tight manner by means of a non-detachable connecting means, such as an adhesive, for example, or else the dispensing unit is produced by way of an injection molding method. In an advantageous embodiment, it can be provided that a circumferential edge is arranged between the first and the second section of the dispensing unit, which extends in the direction of the receiving unit and engages around the second section of the receiving unit. The circumferential edge can thus make it possible to secure or lock the dispensing unit in a position such as the first and / or the second position. In order to secure or lock the dispensing unit in one of the desired positions, such as the first or the second position, the encircling edge can have a latching element which interacts with a corresponding counter-latching element on the receiving unit. The connection can be designed as a form-fit and / or force-fit connection, and in one embodiment can comprise a bead running around at least in sections and a groove interacting therewith, also running around at least in sections. In order to achieve a correct positioning of the dispensing unit and in order to design the opening process securely, it can furthermore be provided that at least one guide means is arranged on the circumferential edge, which guide means interacts with a counter-guide means corresponding thereto.According to the invention, it can furthermore be provided that the second section of the dispensing unit is aligned coaxially with the central axis of the receiving unit and has a diameter which approximately corresponds to that of the first section of the receiving unit. A second section of the dispensing unit configured in this manner makes it possible to arrange the dispensing opening at a location other than the eccentric opening in the receiving unit, whereby an adaptation of the dispensing system to specific applications or different fill items is possible. In this embodiment, it can be provided that the channel in the second section of the dispensing unit opens out coaxially with the central axis, i.e. that the discharge opening is arranged coaxially with the central axis of the receiving unit.According to the present invention, a packaging arrangement for storing and dispensing a flowable filling material is also proposed. This comprises a tubular packaging filled with flowable filling material, and a dispensing system according to the invention for dispensing the flowable filling material. Also according to the present invention, a dispensing unit for dispensing a flowable filling material from a tubular packaging having a first end and a second end, as has been described in connection with the dispensing system explained above, is proposed. The dispensing unit can be used as a replacement assembly to replace already used and, for example, contaminated, clogged or damaged dispensing units. The packaging arrangement according to the invention and the dispensing unit according to the invention offer the same advantages as explained in connection with the dispensing system according to the invention. When using the dispensing system according to the invention or for producing the packaging arrangement, the tubular packaging can preferably be inserted with its first end into the receiving space of the receiving unit and can be fixed there advantageously in a non-detachable and fluid-tight manner by means of a holding means, such as an adhesive, for example. The tubular packaging is then opened by inserting the dispensing unit into the eccentrically arranged opening of the receiving unit and moving the dispensing unit counter to the dispensing direction for the filling material into the opening of the receiving unit. In this case, the dispensing unit is displaced relative to the receiving unit and the packaging is optionally opened. However, it is also possible to open the tubular packaging by displacing it relative to the dispensing system. This can be achieved by the tubular packaging being pushed with its first end into the receiving space of the receiving unit. Alternatively, the tubular packaging can already be positioned in the receiving space of the receiving unit by a certain length and can be displaced into the receiving space by a further length for opening, wherein the dispensing unit opens the tubular packaging during the insertion of the latter. The insertion of the tubular packaging into the receiving space of the receiving unit can be effected manually. However, an auxiliary means can also be provided, for example in the form of a dispensing gun, with a receiving tube or a part-circular support for the tubular packaging, at one end of which the dispensing system according to the invention is arranged, and at the other end of which an insertion mechanism for inserting the tubular packaging into the dispensing system is provided. In this embodiment, the dispensing system, and in particular its end opposite the tubular packaging, can be configured such that it is configured for placing the dispensing system with the tubular packaging located thereon, at least on an approximately planar surface. In this case, the dispensing system is designed such that the dispensing opening of the dispensing unit does not touch the placement surface.A dispensing system is also proposed, having a packaging for dispensing a flowable filling material from a tubular packaging, having a first end and a second end, wherein at least the first end is closed by means of at least one clip. The dispensing system comprises a receiving unit having a first section, having a central axis, a first end, a second end, a receiving space extending from the first end for receiving the tubular packaging, and having a second section adjoining the second end of the first section, a dispensing unit which can be attached to the receiving unit and has at least a first section, a second section adjoining the first section, and a channel which extends through the first and second section and has at least one inlet opening at the free end of the first section for receiving the filling material located in the packaging and at the free end of the second section at least one discharge opening for discharging the filling material guided through the channel, and a closing element which can be attached to the free end of the second section. In this dispensing system, the dispensing opening is arranged centrally. The same advantageous configurations apply to such a variant of the dispensing system as have been described above in connection with the dispensing system which has a receiving unit with an eccentrically arranged dispensing opening, provided they can be combined with the central arrangement of the dispensing opening. The dispensing unit comprises at least one opening element for opening the tubular packaging, preferably in the form of a cutting element, which is arranged on the inside of the dispensing unit and extends in the direction of the receiving unit. The dispensing unit can also comprise a retaining device in order to prevent unintentional escape of filling material. The retaining device can be designed as a diaphragm valve, which allows a passage of filling material only from a specific pressure. It can be arranged coaxially in the dispensing unit. Thus, only by intentionally generating pressure can filling material be dispensed by the dispensing system.Furthermore, a ring can be provided between the receiving unit and the dispensing unit, which limits the depth of insertion of the dispensing unit into the receiving unit. This can be designed as a tear-off strip which has to be removed before the dispensing unit is moved into the second position. However, it can also be a ring of this type which can only be removed if the dispensing unit has been previously removed from the receiving unit. The dispensing unit may also comprise a closing element for closing the free end of the dispensing unit. The closing element can be a cap which can be screwed onto the free end of the dispensing unit by means of a threaded connection. On the dispensing system, preferably on the closing element, a label can be provided, in which information regarding the packaging, the filling material, the manufacturer and / or indications for the use or processing of the filling material are contained. Various types of labels may be used. In the simplest case, labels readable by the human eye can be used. However, they can also be electronically readable labels which comprise, for example, a barcode, an RFID chip or an NFC chip. Such electronically readable labels may be hidden to protect them from damage, such as inside the closure member.Further advantages of the present invention and advantageous embodiments are explained below with reference to the attached drawings. The through-recess D is oriented at least approximately parallel to the central axis M 1 of the tubular packaging 110.FIGS. 5 aand 5 b show perspective views of the dispensing unit 140 of the dispensing system 120.The dispensing unit 140 comprises a first section 141 with a first end 141 aand a second end 141 band a second section 142 with a first end 142 aand 142 b. The second section 142 connects with its second end 142 bto the second end 141 bof the first section 141.The outer cross section of the dispensing unit 140 or the outer cross section of its first section 141 is oval. The inner cross section of the through-recess D of the receiving unit 130 has an oval cross section corresponding thereto, so that the dispensing unit 140 can be inserted with its first portion 141 through the discharge opening 132 cin the through-recess D, as can be seen in FIGS. 3 and 4 a, 4 b. The cross-sectional shapes of the dispensing unit 140 and the through-hole D may also have any other suitable shape. They can be circular or polygonal, for example. At the free end or first end 141 aof the first portion 141, an opening element E is arranged. The opening element E has the shape of a tip or a cone, which is arranged with its base surface at the first end 141 aand the tip of which points away from the first section 141.An external thread is arranged on the outer side of the second section 142 in order to screw the closure element or the screw cap 150, which has a corresponding internal thread, onto the second section 142 of the dispensing unit 140.The screw cap 150 can be equipped with an information carrier T, preferably a machine-readable or electronically readable information carrier T (cf. FIG. 11 ), such as a barcode, an RFID or NFC chip. As can be seen in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 11, the information carrier T can be accommodated in the screw cap, where it is protected from damage. In the information carrier T, for example, it is possible to store information in the information carrier T. Information regarding the packaging, the filling material, the manufacturer and / or indications regarding the use or processing of the filling material may be contained. The first section 141 and the second section 142 of the dispensing unit 140 enclose a channel K, which forms a guide channel for the filling material. The channel or guide channel K opens at the free end or first end 141 aof the first section 141 of the dispensing unit 140 into inlet openings 144 in the opening element E, and at the first end 142 aof the second section 142 into a dispensing or outlet opening 143.The first portion 141 of the dispensing unit has an oval cross-section, whereas the second portion 142 has an approximately round cross-section. The cross section of the guide channel K is likewise oval, so that the dispensing opening 143 also has a corresponding oval cross section. In the region between the first section 141 and the second section 142 of the dispensing unit 140, a radially encircling edge 145 having an approximately cylindrical wall 146 aextending in the direction of the first end 141 aof the first section 141 is arranged. An inwardly directed bead 145b is formed on the wall 145a. The bead 145 bcooperates with a bead 132 darranged at the second end 132 bof the second portion 132 of the receiving unit 130 (cf. FIGS. 2, 4 a ). The beads 145 band 132 dform a connecting unit for connecting the dispensing unit 140 to the receiving unit 130 in a force-fit or form-fit manner.Furthermore, a further circumferential bead 146 is arranged approximately centrally on the outer surface of the first section 141 of the dispensing unit 140.
