Abstract
Description
Present-day lights often only provide a light of limited quality, often no hundred percent sharp glare suppression is possible. Due to the stray light, the illuminated lens surface can be visible from any angle in space. Plastic surfaces used often operate "inexpensively" and the LEDs are visible. This results in an inhomogeneous appearance from architectural and aesthetic points of view. For downlights, these are not suitable, the luminous surface is visible from any angle in space (as scattered light). Large LED modules are therefore necessary (either planar in the case of backlighting or elongate in the case of lateral coupling into an optical waveguide or a mixing chamber). In the prior art, there are the following problems solved by the invention:Light components such as light sources are visible. The lens optics generate scattered light and are therefore visible.FIG. 1 shows a first view of an LED luminaire according to the invention in cross section comprising a black plastic housing (blend cone).A converging lens is placed over the light source, which collects and concentrates as much light as possible. The light is concentrated to a focal point by the lens. The focal point lies on the surface of the luminaire, with a built-in downlight on the ceiling surface. The light is focused on the focal point with the smallest possible diameter, so that a diaphragm can be placed around the focal point, which diaphragm has only a small opening with a small diameter for the light. In order to improve the appearance of the hole, the inner space around the lens is made black to absorb any stray light. This prevents flat light beams from being able to pass out of the opening. In other light designs using this optics, the scattered light can of course be used-it does not necessarily have to be absorbed (add-on light, add-on light... ). In order to meet all the standards for a possible number of lighting applications, the opening is designed in such a way that no light beam can strike the contour of the opening and thus 100% glare suppression is produced. For example, it may be described. FIG. 2 shows the lens and the beam path up to the focal point in a black housing / cylinder. The edge of the black housing protrudes slightly beyond the white opening of the aperture so that no light can reach the edge of the white aperture ring hole. This ensures that only light coming directly from the lens passes from the luminaire. The invention relates to an LED luminaire with a converging lens above the light source, which forms a focal point on the light outlet-side luminaire surface, so that a small hole-shaped opening is sufficient as the light outlet surface. This offers the advantage that the luminaire according to the invention becomes almost invisible, even in the switched-on state. The invention makes possible an LED luminaire with lens optics and 100% glare suppression. The invention has most advantages as a downlight built into the ceiling. It is best installed with a plaster ring, so that the luminaire becomes almost invisible. Only a small black hole of a few millimeters in diameter can be seen. Even in the switched-on state, the luminaire cannot be seen from normal viewing angles; no direct light beam comes from the luminaire into the eye of the observer (except for one intentionally looking at the ceiling at a steep angle). The advantages of the LED luminaire according to the invention are:• Luminaire almost invisible - also in the switched-on state• Sharply Deflected Light for Many ApplicationsFIG. 2 shows a further embodiment of the LED luminaire according to the invention with a housing absorbing scattered light (black, hollow cone).A possible implementation of the invention can be seen with reference to FIG. 2. It shows a downlight as an LED luminaire with (plastering) fastening ring 2. for assembly the fastening ring 2 is inserted into the ceiling opening and clamped to the ceiling with the lateral slides, subsequently spatulated and painted. The LED luminaire is inserted into the fastening ring 2 by means of a bayonet connection (ceiling leveling 1). In our case, the LED driver is to be placed as an extra component ("exposed") in the suspended ceiling. The structure of the LED luminaire is described below:• Heat sink 3 (here shown by way of example as an aluminum die-casting). It has dome-shaped pins at the outer radius, which serve as bayonet locking-in cooperation with the mounting ring. It has a through-opening with an integrated strain relief for the driver cable. The cooling body 3 can be part of the housing or can also form the housing itself.• LED module 6: In the inner region, the LED module 6 can be attached to the cooling body 3 (can be designed as a die-cast body) by means of screws.• Converging lens 7 (lens): The converging lens 7 is disposed above the LED module 6. It centers itself over the LED module 6. It can likewise be connected to the die-casting body (cooling body 3) by means of screws, or it is held by the blend cone. The screws are shown by way of example for the connecting element 4 which connects the LED module 6 to the housing or heat sink 3.• Black blend cone 5: It is placed over the converging lens 7. It can center itself via the base-shaped configuration of the converging lens 7 and hold the converging lens 7 in position via this configuration. The blend cone 5 can be screwed onto the die casting (heat sink 3). Also conceivable as connecting element 4 are snap-fit devices, or threads and bayonet-type locking variants. The blend cone 5 in this example forms a part of the housing which is coated in black.• Aperture 8: The aperture 8 is either clipped on after the LED luminaire has been installed, or it is already mounted beforehand on the LED luminaire. An inexpensive solution is provided by a perforated plate 8 made of plastic which engages in the cooling body 3 by means of snap hooks. Higher quality solutions offer coated aperture plates made of metal. Conceivable possibilities are provided by sweeping pinhole apertures which ensure the adhesion of a dispersion paint, for example, via a rough surface. The ceiling leveling 1 serves for fastening the LED light in a ceiling. At the edge of the LED luminaire, a plaster-in fastening ring 2 can be provided. The LED luminaire can have a heat sink 3, which preferably surrounds the LED module 6.FIG. 3 shows a detailed view of the LED luminaire according to the invention in the "hole situation" according to FIG. 2 with black hollow cone 5 and pinhole stop 8.As illustrated by FIGS. 1 to 3, an LED optics is obtained with a converging lens 7, wherein the converging lens 7 is designed such that it concentrates the light onto the surface of the luminaire, whereby a focal point with the smallest possible diameter is formed. The surface of the LED luminaire is preferably formed by a pinhole stop 8. The focal point is therefore located at the height of the pinhole stop 8, as seen from the direction of the emitting LED module 6 and the converging lens 7. The bundled light passes through a preferably small opening 9 of a diaphragm or pinhole aperture 8 arranged below the LED optics. According to the invention, an LED luminaire comprising such an LED optics is thus made possible. The LED luminaire can have a housing 3 which surrounds the LED optics and carries them mechanically. The interior of the housing 3 surrounding the converging lens 7 can be coated black and thus designed in such a way as to absorb scattered light emitted by the LED optics. The housing 3 can protrude in the emission direction of the LED luminaire over the small opening 9 of the aperture or aperture plate 8. This allows only light emitted directly from the LED optics to be emitted to the outside and no scattered light.FIG. 4 shows a view of the LED luminaire according to the invention with a plaster ring and a black inner region of the housing 3 in cross section. As shown in FIG. 4, the black blend cone 5 can be dispensed with by making the entire interior of the housing 3 of the LED luminaire black. The housing, i.e. for example the cooling body 3 (also in the inner region) is powder-coated black.FIG. 5 shows a detailed view of the LED luminaire according to the invention with pinhole stop 8 according to FIG. 4.FIG. 5 shows in principle the aperture stop design when the black blend cone 5 is dispensed with. Ideally, the upper region and the very narrow inner region of the hole 9 are coated black and the visible side of the collecting aperture 8 white, so that no light beam coming from the LED module can strike a reflecting surface of the luminaire and thus make the luminaire "visible". If black coloring is omitted (for cost reasons during production), the edge of the hole-as shown in FIG. 5-may taper to a point and thus the visible edge as a source of error may be minimized.FIG. 6 shows a perspective view of the LED luminaire according to the invention with pinhole diaphragm 8 with an opening (hole 9) in the center and a registration ring 2 surrounding the pinhole diaphragm 8.List of Reference Numerals:1 Ceiling leveling (fastening) 2 Plaster-in fastening ring 3 Cooling body 4 Connecting element 5 Black cone / lens housing 6 LED module (with printed circuit board) 7 Converging lens 8 Pinhole 9 Opening / hole in the center of pinhole 8
