Abstract

The following features are to be protected: Main claim: Base plate for two-part alarm detectors on doors and windows, characterized in that - this compensates for the height difference between the door / window frame or door / window leaf and the associated jamb, and thus minimizes the mounting-related distance between the sensor unit to be attached and the magnetic contact of the alarm-generating opening detector, - wherein two screw holes are provided on the underside of the invention for connecting the base plate to the door / window jamb and - two screw holes are provided on the front side of the invention for connecting the base plate to the part of the opening detector that is originally intended for mounting on the door / window jamb.

Description

Technical Field to which the Invention Belongs:The invention belongs to the technical field of alarm protection of windows and doorsPrior Art:Up to now, the applicant has not known that such a pad socket exists especially for alarm contacts.Technical Problem Underlying the Invention:Core question: How can two-part opening detectors, such as the AJAX Superior Door Protect, be attached without height differences to door / window frames or door / window leaf on the one hand and to door / window frame on the other hand? Background: Two-part opening detectors, such as the AJAX Superior Door Protect, are used as part of alarm systems for protecting windows and doors. The opening detector consists of a sensor unit and a magnetic contact. The sensor unit of the opening indicator is mounted on the door frame / door leaf and the associated magnetic contact is mounted on the frame. A reverse attachment is generally also possible. In order to ensure a satisfactory functionality of the opening detector, it is important that the distance between the sensor unit and the magnetic contact is kept small. Naturally, however, differences in height exist between the door / window frame or door / window leaf and the associated frame. From the safety aspect (minimum distance between the opening indicator and the magnetic contact), but also from the optical aspects, there is a need for a support base which compensates for the height difference between the door / window frame or door / window leaf and the associated frame during the assembly of the opening indicator.Solution Using the Application Related Invention:The part of the opening indicator which is attached to the door / window frame is firmly screwed in advance to the support base (invention) which is to be referred to the application. The underlay base provides two specific bore holes on the front side for this purpose. The underlay base can then be attached to the door / window frame, namely either with an adhesive connection / adhesive pad (fastening option 1) or again by a screw connection (fastening option 2). The underlay base provides a large notch on the underside for the fastening possibility 1. For the fastening possibility 2, the support socket to which the application is based again provides two bore holes on the underside.

Claims

The following features are to be protected: Main claim: Underlay base for two-part alarm detectors on doors and windows, characterized in that - it compensates the height difference between the door / window frame or door / window leaf and the associated frame, and thus minimizes the mounting-dependent distance between the sensor unit to be mounted and the magnetic contact of the alarm-giving opening detector, - wherein two screw holes are provided on the underside of the invention for connecting the underlay base to the door / window frame, and - two screw holes are provided on the front side of the invention for connecting the underlay base to the part of the opening detector which is originally intended for mounting on the door / window frame.
