[0001] Typical computer workstations are equipped with a desk on which the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and possibly the PC itself are located, and a chair on which the user sits.

[0002] My utility model is a combination specifically designed for working on a PC, consisting of a raised couch for the user and a movable work surface attached to it with integrated armrests, which is lowered by means of a folding movement in front of the user lying on the couch.

[0003] The reclining position at the computer screen, the raised bed for more comfortable access and, above all, the function of the folding table with integrated armrests are the innovations that, in my opinion, justify my application for a utility model.

[0004] The preferred material for the computer lounger is wood, but it is also possible to implement the basic functions in metal or plastic.

[0005] Advantages and disadvantages of my utility model: Advantages: - more comfortable “sitting”-lying position compared to a normal computer chair - much greater adaptability to the individual user than with conventional screen workstations - thanks to the improved ergonomics, a longer fatigue-free stay while working / playing is possible, incorrect posture can be prevented in advance through the extreme individualization Disadvantages: - Specialization in computer work / games, in contrast to the usual PC desk, no other work is possible or difficult - Potential risk of posture or health damage, as the "more comfortable" position tempts you to stay in front of the PC for longer, or promotes a comfortable but ergonomically incorrect posture - Space requirement: the computer lounger requires approximately 2 square meters of floor space. - Due to the tilting table, it is necessary to attach the monitor to the table using the VESA standard; mounts are also required for the keyboard and mouse

[0007] It essentially consists of two parts: 1. A 60 cm high, 60 cm wide and 180 cm long wooden box / lounger that supports the lower body of the user and a sloping backrest attached to the rear area, which serves to support the back or upper body. 2. A 70 cm wide and 80 cm deep work surface with armrests attached to the sides and a VESA monitor mount with angled stabilization mounted vertically on it, which is movably mounted with the help of outriggers in the front part of the wooden box / lounger described under 1. and folded in front of the user and provides access to the keyboard, mouse and monitor.

[0008] The construction consists mainly of (beech) wooden boards screwed together, the folding mechanism of the table was realized by means of a metal axle.
