Abstract

Aid for inserting electrical plugs into sockets, characterized in that the rear wall of the socket cover pot made of non-conductive and non-flammable material has the inner outline of a socket pot and two openings for inserting the plug tulips, which are curved on their side facing away from the socket between the tulip holes and between them and the edge of the socket cover pot.

[0001] Electrical outlets are often located in hard-to-reach and poorly lit places. Therefore, using them can be challenging for users, especially those with physical limitations.

[0002] The invention facilitates the handling of all types of commercially available and standardized electrical plugs. It assists the user through a geometry on its surface that guides the plug's tulips into the correct position when plugging in. The surface also features bulges designed to allow the tulips to slide toward the socket holes when plugging in. This allows the desired connection between the plug and socket to be established even if the user doesn't insert the plug precisely.

[0003] It is important that the DIN and VDE standards for safety are adhered to when designing the device according to the invention. In addition, the socket cover must be made of non-flammable and non-conductive material.
