Detailed embodiments

[0020] The following description is intended to disclose the present invention so that a person skilled in the art can implement this invention. The preferred embodiments in the following description are merely exemplary, and a person skilled in the art may consider other obvious variations.

[0021] In the Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 shows a dumbbell with easily assembled and disassembled weights, comprising a center bar 100 with a handle area, mounting bases 300 attached to both ends of the center bar 100 and of identical construction, which include mounting cavities for mounting the weights, a base 400 for supporting the entire dumbbell, and weights 200 placed on the surface of the base 400. By rotating the center bar 100, the number of weights 200 mounted in the mounting cavities of the mounting bases 300 can be adjusted, thereby enabling the assembly or disassembly of different weights 200.

[0022] In particular, each of the mounting bases 300, as shown in Fig. 1, is elongated, columnar, and provided along its axis with a plurality of mounting cavities 310 for mounting the weights 200. The mounting cavity 310 closest to the center rod 100 is considered the first mounting cavity, followed by the second, third, and nth mounting cavities along its axis. When the center rod 100 rotates once, the first mounting cavity is connected to a weight 200. When it rotates once again, the second mounting cavity is connected to a weight 200 at the corresponding position. By rotating the center rod 100, all mounting cavities 310 are successively connected to a corresponding weight 200 until the center rod 100 has made a full rotation and all mounting cavities 310 are connected to a counterweight 200. If the counterweight 200 needs to be disassembled, this can be done by rotating the center rod 100 in the opposite direction.

[0023] The dumbbell further comprises guide axes 500, each of which extends through one of the mounting bases 300 and is connected to the center bar 100. A plurality of annular guide grooves are arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the guide axes 500, distributed along the axial direction of the guide axes. Each of the annular guide grooves corresponds to a mounting cavity. Adapter elements 600 are mounted on the outer periphery of the guide axes 500, corresponding to the annular guide grooves. The adapter elements 600 enable the weights 200 to be mounted on the mounting base 300. Each of the adapter elements 600 is provided with a guide column 610. One end of the guide column 610 interacts with a corresponding annular guide groove.By rotating the guide axis 500, the guide column 610 moves the adapter element 600 along the course of the annular guide groove, whereby it either approaches or moves away from the weight 200 to be mounted in order to enable the mounting or dismounting of the weight 200.

[0024] In order to increase the strength of the connection between the center rod 100 and the guide shafts 500 and to prevent the center rod 100 from detaching from the guide shafts 500 during the rotation process, the center rod 100 is additionally provided at each end with a square block 120 which is fitted onto its outer circumference, and the guide shaft 500 is provided at one end with a square through-hole which mates with the square block 120 to enable the connection of the two components.

[0025] In this embodiment, distribute as in Fig. 4 to 6, the annular guide grooves extend from the side near the center rod 100 toward the side far from the center rod 100. These are referred to sequentially as the first guide groove 510, the second guide groove 520, the third guide groove 530, the fourth guide groove 540, and the fifth guide groove 550. The first guide groove 510 consists of a V-shaped portion 511 and a first arcuate portion 512, with the opening of the V-shaped portion 511 facing toward the side far from the center rod 100. The second guide groove 520 consists of a U-shaped portion 521 and a second arcuate portion 512, with the opening of the U-shaped portion 521 facing toward the side far from the center rod 100, and the opening of the U-shaped portion 521 is wider than that of the V-shaped portion 511.The second guide groove is offset from the first guide groove 510 to prevent the first guide groove 510 and the second guide groove 520 from overlapping, which could result in a weight 200 not being correctly suspended in one of the two guide grooves and thus resulting in incorrect assembly. The third guide groove 530 consists of a sloped portion 531 and a third arcuate portion 532, with the sloped portion 531 being inclined in the same direction as the vertical parts of the U-shaped portion 521, and the sloped portion 531 being located on the same side as one side of the opening of the U-shaped portion 521.The fourth guide groove 540 has the same structure as the second guide groove 520, but its opening is oriented in the opposite direction. The opening of the fourth guide groove 540 is offset from the opening of the second guide groove 520, and the two guide grooves do not coincide to prevent incorrect assembly. The fifth guide groove 550 has a zigzag shape and is formed by sequentially connecting several V-shaped and U-shaped sections. It is used to suspend an additional weight 700. The additional weight 700 is lighter than the weight 200. If one weight 200 is too light and two weights 200 are too heavy, the additional weight 700 is attached to the corresponding position of the fifth guide groove 550. This achieves a weight that is between that of one weight and that of two weights. This allows for a wider range of weight combinations and increases the applicability of the dumbbell, making it more suitable for groups of people with different weight requirements.

[0026] It should be noted that the number of annular guide grooves can be adjusted depending on the number of 200 weights required. If more 200 weights are required, the number of annular guide grooves is increased; if fewer weights are required, the number of guide grooves is reduced accordingly.

[0027] In this embodiment, at the top of one of the weights 200, as shown in Fig. 1, a recess 210 is formed, wherein the recess 210 is U-shaped, its vertical inner walls are each provided with a concave arc, wherein the concave arcs face each other on both sides and form a receiving space for receiving the adapter element 600.

[0028] In this embodiment, end plates 120 with hollow chambers are attached to both ends of the center rod 100. Scales for displaying the weight during weight adjustment are applied to the outside of the end plates 120. The hollow chamber of each of the end plates 120 is provided on the side wall with locking blocks 121 that are evenly distributed along its circumferential surface, with gaps between two adjacent locking blocks 121. The end plate also includes a locking block 800 that interacts with the gaps. A vertically upwardly directed spring 810 is firmly connected to one end of the locking block 800, which is fixed to the center rod 100. The other end of the locking block 800 is in contact with the unlocking block (not shown in the figures) of the base 400.In the initial state, i.e., when the weight 200 is placed on the base 400, the underside of the locking block 800 touches the release block, and the release block exerts an upward force on the locking block 800. This compresses the locking block 800, keeping it away from the gaps between the two locking blocks 121 and allowing the center bar 100 to rotate. When the dumbbell leaves the base 400, the locking block 800 is pressed downward under the action of the spring 810. The locking block 800 falls into one of the gaps between the two locking blocks 121, restricting the rotation of the center bar 100 around its axis and thus locking the center bar 100.

[0029] The basic principles, main features, and advantages of the present invention are illustrated and described above. Those skilled in the art should understand that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments.
