Abstract
Description
[0001] The state of the art provides various holders for attaching plastic or paper bags to a bin, such as a trash can. One holder, not specified in print, is designed for attachment outside the bin or to the rim of the bin and is therefore not suitable for many waste disposal systems, such as those found in kitchen base cabinets, due to space constraints. As a result, the bags often slip into the bin or collapse. This significantly complicates hygienic waste disposal. There are currently no universal fixing solutions that enable stable attachment, particularly for rectangular bins.
[0002] The invention aims to provide a device that solves the problems mentioned above.
[0003] For this purpose, a bag holder is provided that allows for flexible securing of bags within buckets. The bag holder is particularly suitable for securing paper bags in rectangular buckets of various sizes and ensures clean and effortless waste disposal.
[0004] The bag holder according to the invention consists of two individual parts: a locking part and a toothed part, which telescopically interlock. This design allows bags to be secured within different bucket sizes. Thanks to its variable width, the bag holder can be flexibly adapted to different bucket formats. The bag holder is mounted inside the bucket and rests on opposing bucket sections. The bag is positioned between the bag holder and the bucket to prevent the bag from slipping or collapsing.
[0005] In detail, the bag holder comprises the locking part, which has a locking section and a first support section, and the toothed part, which has a toothed section and a second support section, wherein the toothed section is guided on the locking section in a linearly movable manner and wherein the locking part engages with at least one locking tooth in a toothing of the toothed section in a form-fitting manner in order to prevent an approach movement between the first support section and the second support section, wherein the first support section and the second support section are designed to rest on mutually opposite bucket regions. It is preferably provided that the locking section of the locking part is sleeve-shaped and that the toothed section of the toothed part can be received at least partially in the locking section. As a result, the locking section and the toothed section form a telescopic connection with which the distance between the first support section and the second support section can be changed and the size of the bag holder can thus be adjusted. The locking part is provided with a locking tooth that is spring-elastically preloaded in the direction of the toothing of the toothed section and prevents any undesired approach of the two support sections. The locking tooth can be moved from a locked position to a released position, preferably by manual actuation without the use of tools. In the released position, the distance between the two support sections can be reduced. Furthermore, the tooth geometry of the locking tooth is adapted to the toothing of the toothed section in such a way that the distance between the two support sections can be increased without any actuation, in particular manual actuation, of the locking tooth.Rather, it is sufficient to exert opposing forces on the two support sections, each of which is aligned at least substantially parallel to a longest extension of the toothing of the tooth section, in order to effect the increase in distance. Preferably, a tooth width of the teeth forming the toothing is aligned transversely to the longest extension of the toothing of the tooth section.
[0006] In a further development of the invention, the locking tooth is arranged at a first end region of a spring element, wherein the spring element is connected to the locking section by a second end region, which is opposite the first end region. The spring element is preferably designed in the manner of a leaf spring and enables an elastic deflection movement for the locking tooth when the distance between the two support regions increases, wherein the locking tooth engages in the manner of a pawl in the respective subsequent tooth gap between adjacent teeth.
[0007] In a further embodiment of the invention, the locking tooth is connected to an actuating tongue designed to apply force to the locking tooth and the spring element, enabling the locking tooth to disengage from the toothing of the toothed section and thus allow a close-up movement between the first support section and the second support section. The actuating tongue can be arranged directly on the locking tooth or on the spring element that connects the locking tooth to the locking section. The actuating tongue is preferably designed such that it can be operated manually without the need for a tool.
[0008] It is expedient if the first support section is provided with a sawtooth profile on an outer side facing away from the second support section and / or if the second support section is provided with a sawtooth profile on an outer side facing away from the first support section in order to improve the adhesion between the holder and the bag.
[0009] In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that a longitudinal axis of the locking section and a longitudinal axis of the first support section enclose an angle of at least 90 degrees, preferably of at least 100 degrees, and / or that a longitudinal axis of the toothed section and a longitudinal axis of the second support section enclose an angle of at least 90 degrees, preferably of at least 100 degrees. The longitudinal axis of the locking section is determined by the longest spatial extent of the locking section and is aligned parallel to the longest extent of the toothing of the toothed section. By angling the respective support section relative to the locking section or the toothed section, an advantageous introduction of force from the bag holder to an inner wall of a bucket, preferably designed with a rectangular opening cross-section, is ensured.
[0010] In an advantageous development of the invention, the toothing of the toothed section comprises a plurality of teeth, the first and second tooth flanks of which each form an angle of less than 90 degrees with the longitudinal axis of the toothed section, so that a tooth root of the respective second tooth flank is at a smaller distance from the second support section than a tooth tip of the respective second tooth flank. As a result, the second tooth flank forms an undercut for the locking tooth relative to the direction of force that occurs when the bag holder is clamped in the bucket. This prevents unwanted disengagement of the locking tooth from the toothing.
[0011] It is advantageous if a retaining bar prevents plastic deformation of the spring element to avoid mechanical overloading of the spring element. The retaining bar is arranged in such a way that only a deflection of the spring element from an engaged position, in which the locking tooth engages with the toothing, to a release position, in which the locking tooth is disengaged from the toothing, is permitted. Further deflection of the locking tooth, which would not result in a functional change for the locking tooth but could lead to undesirable plastic deformation of the spring element, is thus prevented.
[0012] Accordingly, the bag holder according to the invention achieves the following advantageous properties: Variable extension width to adapt to different bag and bucket sizes, Mechanical tensioning mechanism to fix the bag when pulling the bag holder inside the bucket, Mechanical release mechanism that allows easy removal by operating a release lever, Sawtooth profile for improved adhesion between holder and bag, Retaining bracket that prevents plastic deformation of the spring element.
[0013] Thus, the following problems can be solved with the bag holder according to the invention: • Fixing bags within a bucket regardless of shape or size, • Preventing bags from collapsing, • Adaptation to different bag and bucket sizes, • Easy assembly, disassembly and cleaning, • Hygienic and comfortable handling.
[0014] An advantageous embodiment of a bag holder according to the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows: •Fig. 1: a plan view of a bag holder accommodated in a bucket, only partially shown, and • Fig. 2: a sectional view with a detailed view of the clamping and release mechanism.
[0015] One in the Fig. The bag holder 1 shown in Figure 1 is intended for securing a garbage bag (not shown), for example a paper garbage bag, in a garbage bin 2. For this purpose, the bag holder 1 rests on oppositely arranged wall regions 3, 4 of the garbage bin 2.
[0016] Preferably, the two wall areas 3 and 4 are aligned parallel to each other.
[0017] The bag holder 1 has a locking part 21 and a toothed part 41 mounted on the locking part 21 for linear movement. These toothed parts can be locked together to press the garbage bag against the wall areas 3, 4 of the garbage bin 2. Preferably, the locking part 21 and the toothed part 41 are each manufactured using a plastic injection molding process.
[0018] The locking part 21 has a sleeve-shaped locking section 22, which defines an extension axis 23 that coincides with a longest extension of the locking section 22. The locking section 22 thus has a recess 24, into which a toothed section 42 of the toothed part 41 can be telescopically inserted, at least in part. A locking tooth 25 is assigned to the locking section 22 and is connected to the locking section by means of a leaf spring 26. Attached to an end region of the locking section 22 is a first support section 27, which extends with a greatest extension along an extension axis 28. For example, the extension axis 28 of the support section 27 is aligned at an angle of approximately 100 degrees to the extension axis 23 of the locking section 22.
[0019] The toothed part 41, with its strip-shaped toothed section 42, partially projects into the recess 24 of the locking section 22 and is received there for linear movement. A toothing 43 of the toothed section 42 is arranged and configured such that the locking tooth 25 is pressed into the toothing 43 by the leaf spring 26. The toothing 43 and the locking tooth 25 are adapted to one another in such a way that an approach movement (reduction in distance) between the first support section 27 and a second support section 45, which is arranged at the end of the toothed section 42, is prevented by a positive connection between the locking tooth 25 and the toothing 43.For this purpose, the wedge surfaces (not designated in more detail) of the locking tooth 25 and the toothing 43 are adapted to one another in such a way that, when a force is applied to the bag holder 1, which would lead to an approach movement between the first support section 27 and the second support section 45, the self-locking between the locking tooth 25 and the toothing 43 is increased. This ensures that the bag holder 1 can be permanently positioned between opposing wall regions 3, 4 of a garbage bin 2, wherein a portion of a bag, in particular a paper garbage bag, can be clamped between the respective wall region 3, 4 and the respective support section 27, 45. In order to bring about an approach movement between the first support section 27 and the second support section 45, the locking tooth 25 must therefore be deflected from the positive connection with the toothing 43.For this purpose, an actuating tongue 30 is attached to the end of the leaf spring 26, which enables manual force application to the leaf spring 26. This manual force application lifts the locking tooth 25 from the toothing 43, allowing the desired approach movement between the support sections 27, 45 to be effected.
[0020] Furthermore, the toothing 43 and the locking tooth 25 are adapted to one another in such a way that during a removal movement (increase in distance) between the first support section 27 and the second support section 45, the positive connection between the locking tooth 25 and the toothing 43 occurs through an unlocking movement of the locking tooth 25 and a concomitant elastic deformation of the leaf spring 25.
[0021] The second support section 4 extends with a greatest extent along an extension axis 45, which is aligned at an angle of approximately 100 degrees to an extension axis 44 of the toothed section 42. Purely by way of example, the first support section 27 and the second support section 45 are provided with a saw toothing 29, 47 on mutually opposing outer sides, which are opposite the respective wall regions 3, 4, with which the force transmission to the bag to be secured and the respective wall region 3, 4 is to be improved.
[0022] In practical handling of the bag holder 1, the following procedure can be provided: in a first step, the locking tooth 25 is lifted from the toothing 43 of the toothed section 42 by manually applying force to the actuating tongue 30, so that the locking between the latching section 22 and the toothed section 42 is released and a linear approach movement can be carried out between the first support section 27 and the second support section 45 until a small distance is present between the first support section 27 and the second support section 45.Subsequently, the loot holder 1 is arranged in a spatial volume which is delimited by a bag, which in turn is accommodated in a spatial volume delimited by the waste bin, such that the first support section 27 and the second support section 45 are each arranged opposite one of the wall regions 3, 4 of the waste bin 2, wherein partial regions of the bag are accommodated between the first support section 27 and the first wall region or between the second support section 45 and the second wall region 4.
[0023] Subsequently, the locking part 21 and the toothed part 21 are manually pulled apart by opposing forces. Due to the geometries of the locking tooth 25 and the toothing 43, the locking tooth 25 is deflected from a locking engagement with a preceding pair of teeth of the toothing 43 and the locking tooth 25 engages with a subsequent pair of teeth of the toothing. As soon as the two support sections 27, 45 come into contact with the wall areas 3, 4 of the trash can 2, further pulling apart of the bag holder 1 is only possible through the elastic deformation of the two support sections 27, 45.
[0024] The angles between the extension axes 23 and 28, and 44 and 46, are selected such that the bending stress of the thermoplastic material does not exceed the permissible stress after deformation of the deformation path and remains within the elastic range of permissible strain. At the same time, sufficient pressure and preload are generated on the wall areas 3, 4 of the trash can 2 to hold the bag in position.
[0025] The serrated teeth 29, 47 improve the adhesion between the support sections 27, 45 and the bag. The automatic release of the bag holder 1 is prevented by the undercut tooth contours of the locking tooth 25 and the toothing 43. Thus, the applied preload is maintained and the hold is ensured.
[0026] To remove the bag holder 1 clamped in the trash can 2, the actuating tongue 30 is manually actuated, whereby the locking tooth 25 is disengaged from the locking position with the toothing 43. The pretensioning of the bag holder 1 causes the locking part 21 and the toothing part 41 to automatically telescopically retract into one another during actuation, and the distance between the first support section 27 and the second support section 45 is reduced such that the bag holder 1 can be removed from the trash can 2. The retaining bracket 31 formed above the locking tooth 25 on the locking part 21 prevents plastic deformation of the leaf spring 26.
