Protective tube (1), in particular for connection to a heat pump, comprising an outer tube (2), insulation (4) partially filling the outer tube (2), at least one first free space (3, 16, 21) surrounded by the insulation (4) and passing through the protective tube (1), which is capable of being filled by a liquid, at least one second free space (5, 6, 17, 18, 24) passing through the protective tube (1), in which an electrical conductor can be arranged, characterized in that the outer tube (2) is divided longitudinally into a first half-shell (7, 13) and a second half-shell (8, 14), which can be hingedly connected or are connected to each other.
