Electric child safety lock for sliding doors in vehicles, characterized in that it includes the following: a child safety mechanism, wherein the child safety mechanism comprises a first connecting rod (1), an inwardly open connecting rod (2), a second connecting rod (3), a positioning pin (4) and a connecting pin (5), wherein the inwardly open connecting rod (2) is pivotally connected to the second connecting rod (3), wherein the first connecting rod (1) is provided with a longitudinal groove (101), wherein the positioning pin (4) is provided at one end of the second connecting rod (3), and wherein the positioning pin (4) is arranged in the longitudinal groove (101), wherein a first groove (201) is formed at one end of the inwardly open connecting rod (2) with a first groove (201), wherein a second groove (301) is formed at another end of the second connecting rod (3), and wherein the connecting pin (5) is arranged simultaneously in the first groove (201) and the second groove (301); a release arrangement and a locking mechanism, wherein the locking mechanism is used to lock a rear door on a body, the release arrangement being connected between the other end of the inwardly open connecting rod (2) and the locking mechanism and being able to trigger the release of the locking mechanism; an electric child safety drive (6) wherein the electric child safety drive (6) is drivenly connected to the first connecting rod (1) and can rotate the first connecting rod (1) so that the first connecting rod (1) can move the positioning pin (4) and has an opening position for unlocking the locking mechanism and a child safety position for locking the locking mechanism.
