Survey marker (100, 200) for recording with various surveying methods, comprising a marker body with several surface elements (102a, 102b, 102c, 102d, 202a, 202b), wherein the surface elements run along a vertical axis (104) of the marker body and form a cross-shaped arrangement in a cross-section transverse to the vertical axis (104), wherein the survey marker is designed to be placed on a base surface such that the vertical axis (104) is directed away from the base surface.
