Abstract
A monitoring device for detecting the dripping water area on the tunnel vault using laser back-radiation, characterized in that it comprises: at least one pair of laser back-radiation devices, wherein each pair of laser back-radiation devices comprises a laser transmitter and a laser receiver, wherein the laser transmitter and the associated tuned laser receiver are each mounted on the two side walls below the tunnel vault and the laser beam emitted by the laser transmitter is optically aligned with the associated laser receiver to form a laser monitoring wall; a central processing unit (CPU) that is connected to the laser receivers via signal technology; wherein the laser receivers are designed to detect changes in the light signal caused by dripping water from the tunnel vault penetrating the laser monitoring wall, and to transmit these changes in the light signal to the CPU;and wherein the ZVE is designed to calculate the position of the passage of the water droplets based on the changes in the light signal and the mounting position information of the respective pair of laser backbeam devices, and to determine the areal extent and distribution of the dripping water area on the tunnel vault based on a statistical evaluation of continuous data.
