Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present document relates to embodiments of a spotlight for illuminating a film, studio, stage, event and / or theater environment. BACKGROUND
[0002] Spotlights are typically used to illuminate film, studio, stage, event, and / or theater environments. Sometimes it is desirable for a spotlight comprising a light source arrangement to provide sufficient light output and meet other requirements typical of a film, studio, stage, event, and / or theater environment. Such requirements include, for example, continuous operation over several hours, a wide beam angle adjustment range, a homogeneous, softly evanescent light field, and / or a hard light source in a so-called flood setting and a soft light source in a so-called spot setting.
[0003] WO 2017 / 000212 A2 describes a headlight comprising a plurality of light guides with feed points arranged outside a reflector interior and with light output points arranged inside the reflector interior. Comparable configurations are known from EP 2 320 125 A1 and WO 2012 / 024607 A2. DESCRIPTION
[0004] The invention is defined by independent claim 1. Features of some embodiments are specified in the subclaims. For example, a spotlight for illuminating a film, studio, stage, event, and / or theater environment comprises: a reflector assembly having a reflective inner surface defining a reflector interior; and a number of passive light guides having feed points arranged outside the reflector interior and light output points arranged inside the reflector interior. The spotlight comprises an electrically operated light source assembly arranged outside the reflector interior, said assembly having a carrier on the front of which first LEDs of a first color and second LEDs of a second color are mounted, each of which is configured to generate light and feed it into the feed points of the passive light guides. The front side has a structural pattern formed from a plurality of equally sized and adjacent hexagonal cells, and each LED of the first and second LEDs is arranged in a separate hexagonal cell. Each of the passive light guides can, for example, have a longitudinal extension defined in the light-guiding direction by a distance between the respective feed point and the respective light output point, which is at least several times greater than a transverse extension perpendicular to the light-guiding direction.
[0005] The reflector assembly may be a curved reflector. The reflector assembly is occasionally referred to simply as the "reflector" below.
[0006] Furthermore, the light guides can each be rod-shaped. The light guides can penetrate the inner surface of the reflector arrangement. For example, the passive light guides are arranged radially symmetrically and point in a star-shaped pattern to the same point in the reflector interior. In one embodiment, the passive light guides are arranged along a fictitious circle, and their longitudinal extensions are each aligned perpendicular to the circumferential contour of the fictitious circle.
[0007] The number of passive light guides can be odd and the light guides can be arranged at a constant angular distance from each other.
[0008] It is also within the scope of the invention that the light output points are arranged concentrically to the inner surface of the reflector arrangement.
[0009] The passive light guides can each have a polygonal cross-section.
[0010] For example, the passive light guides are each made of a glass material. Furthermore, the passive light guides can each be designed as total internal reflection light guides.
[0011] The reflective inner surface of the reflector arrangement can be shaped like a truncated cone with a diameter increasing in the direction of the light exit or can be shaped like a paraboloid.
[0012] In one embodiment, the light output points of the passive light guides are formed by a substantially planar light guide end surface, the surface normal of which is aligned at an angle of less than 30° to the longitudinal extension of the respective light guide.
[0013] The reflector assembly may further comprise a support forming or supporting the reflective inner surface, wherein the light source assembly is disposed entirely outside the support.
[0014] A lens arrangement comprising at least two concentrically aligned lens elements, each having a wave structure, can be arranged in the reflector interior. The lens elements can be designed as diverging lenses, and the wave structure can be present on the inner surfaces of the diverging lenses. The lens arrangement can be designed to increase the beam angle of the headlight.
[0015] Furthermore, a pre-reflector can be installed, which is arranged between the light output points of the passive light guides and the base of the reflector arrangement.
[0016] Further examples of possible embodiments of the headlight follow. The following headlight features are all optional; however, they can be combined to form further embodiments, unless otherwise stated.
[0017] The LEDs or subgroups thereof are electrically connected to each other via a number of current paths.
[0018] The current paths are also arranged on the front of the carrier.
[0019] The current paths each have a wedge-shaped course, the tip of which essentially points towards the center of the front side.
[0020] The first LEDs and the second LEDs are each distributed symmetrically relative to a center point on the front.
[0021] The structural pattern with the hexagonal cells completely fills the front side and each of at least 90% of the hexagonal cells is occupied by a single LED.
[0022] Each hexagonal cell has an area of less than 6 mm2.
[0023] A geometric center of the distribution of the first LEDs and a geometric center of the distribution of the second LEDs coincide with the center of the front side.
[0024] The carrier comprises a single-layer PCB designed to supply an electrical current to each LED.
[0025] At least one first current path is provided in the carrier for the first LEDs. At least one second current path is provided in the carrier for the second LEDs. The at least one first current path and the at least one second current path do not intersect in any plane of the carrier.
[0026] The headlight comprises a liquid cooling system coupled to the carrier, which is designed to dissipate waste heat produced by the LEDs.
[0027] The liquid cooling system comprises: a supply line that supplies liquid to a central location on the back of the carrier; and a drain line that carries liquid from the central location toward an edge region of the carrier.
[0028] The headlight further comprises: a primary lens arrangement positioned at a distance between 50 µm and 1 mm from the LEDs, wherein the primary lens arrangement comprises at least one lens element for each of the LEDs.
[0029] The lens elements of the primary lens arrangement are made of pressed glass, plastic or silicone.
[0030] The primary lens arrangement is designed as a silicone-on-glass construction.
[0031] The primary lens arrangement is designed to output at least 70% of the light generated by the LEDs in a light cone with an aperture angle of less than 35°.
[0032] The lens elements are mounted on the front side of a support of the primary lens arrangement facing away from the front side of the support, wherein the front side of the support has a structural pattern formed from a plurality of equally sized and adjacent hexagonal cells; each of the lens elements is arranged in a separate hexagonal cell.
[0033] The distance can be formed by an air gap.
[0034] Further features and advantages will become apparent to the person skilled in the art upon studying the following detailed description and examining the accompanying drawings. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0039] Reference will now be made in detail to various embodiments, to one or more examples illustrated in the figures. Each example is presented in an illustrative manner and is not to be interpreted as a limitation of the invention. For example, features illustrated or described as part of one embodiment may be applied to or in conjunction with other embodiments to produce yet another embodiment. [0040] In the Fig. 1A A schematic plan view of a light source arrangement 13 is shown. As will be explained in more detail later, the light source arrangement 13 can be designed to be used to form a spotlight 1 for illuminating a film, studio, stage, event, and / or theater environment.
[0041] The light source arrangement 13 comprises a carrier having a front side 1391. For example, the front side 1391 has a polygonal circumferential profile, which may, for example, be nearly circular. In other embodiments, other front side shapes may also be implemented, for example, a purely circular or rectangular front side shape.
[0042] For example, the front side 1391 has an area of at least 40 square millimeters. The front side 1391 can be planar, meaning that said surface can lie in a single plane.
[0043] A plurality of LEDs 131 are mounted on the front side 1391 of the carrier 139. All LEDs 131 can have identical dimensions and, for example, a base area, e.g., a light-emitting area of approximately 1 mm 2 .
[0044] The LEDs 131 may comprise LEDs of a first color, hereinafter referred to as first LEDs 1311, LEDs of a second color, hereinafter referred to as second LEDs 1312, LEDs of a third color, hereinafter referred to as third LEDs 1313, and / or LEDs of a fourth color, hereinafter referred to as fourth LEDs 1314. For example, in one embodiment, only first and second LEDs 1311, 1312 are provided; further embodiments may additionally comprise third LEDs 1313, and yet further embodiments, as in the Fig. 1A shown, may additionally include said fourth LEDs 1314. Further LEDs of other colors than the first color, the second color, the third color, and the fourth color may also be provided. Thus, for example, five or six or even more LEDs could be provided.
[0045] For example, the LEDs 131 are designed in their commonality to produce an RGB (red-green-blue) or an RGBW (red-green-blue-white) color pattern.
[0046] In an exemplary embodiment, the first LEDs 1311 have the color "white." The second LEDs 1312 may have the color "green," the third LEDs 1313 may have the color "blue," and the fourth LEDs 1314 may have the color "red." Thus, the LEDs 1311 may generate, for example, RGBW color patterns.
[0047] The front side 1391 of the carrier 139 has a structural pattern formed from a plurality of equally sized and adjacent hexagonal cells. Such a structural pattern is shown as an example in the Fig. 1A as well as in the Fig. 1Bshown. Each of the hexagonal cells 1395 can have a hexagonal perimeter. All six sides can be of equal length, and furthermore, all angles can be of equal size. In other embodiments, the side lengths can differ. For example, the front side 1391 of the carrier 139 is completely filled with the structural pattern, i.e., completely filled—apart from an edge region—with the hexagonal cells 1395. This complete filling can also be referred to as a tiling. The structural pattern of the front side 1391 can be a hexagonal tiling. For example, an individual hexagonal cell 1395 in the hexagonal tiling only has neighbors that are connected via complete edges, but none that are only connected via corners or edge parts, as in the Fig. 1B illustrated.
[0048] According to one embodiment, each of the LEDs 131 is provided in a separate hexagonal cell, as shown in the Fig. 1A-B shown schematically. The structural pattern with the hexagonal cells can completely or almost completely fill the front side 1391, and each of at least 90% of the hexagonal cells can be occupied by a single one of the LEDs 131. This proportion can also be higher than 90%, for example, it can be 95% or even at least 98%. Unoccupied hexagonal cells can be used, for example, for the arrangement of a mechanical support and / or for the routing of power lines, such as conductor tracks.
[0049] Furthermore, the LEDs 131 can be distributed symmetrically with respect to the center of the front side 1391, which will be explained below using the exemplary illustration in the Fig. 1A It should be explained where said first LEDs 1311, second LEDs 1312, third LEDs 1313 and fourth LEDs 1314 are provided.
[0050] For example, the first LEDs 1311 are arranged along the solid line. The second LEDs 1312 may be arranged along the dotted line, and the third LEDs 1313 may be arranged along the alternating dotted dashed line. Finally, the fourth LEDs 1314 may be arranged along the dashed line.
[0051] Current paths can be formed along said lines, which supply the respective LEDs with current. The LEDs 131 or subgroups can thus be electrically connected to one another via a number of current paths, wherein the current paths can also be arranged on the front side 1391 of the carrier 139. As shown in Fig. 1AAs illustrated, the current paths can each have a wedge-shaped course, the tip of which essentially points toward a center of the front panel. Some tips point directly toward the center, whereas other tips do not point exactly toward the center of the front panel 139, but slightly to the side, which is due, for example, to the hexagonal packaging. Therefore, the phrase "essentially toward a center" is used.
[0052] How to continue in the Fig. 1A As illustrated, the current paths can be laid out so that they do not cross in any plane of the carrier.
[0053] The symmetrical distribution can also be configured such that the different LEDs each have their geometric center of gravity at the center of the front side 1391. For example, a geometric center of the distribution of the first LEDs 1311 and a geometric center of the distribution of the second LEDs 1312 coincide with the center of the front side 1391. A geometric center of the distribution of the third LEDs 1313 and a geometric center of the distribution of the fourth LEDs 1314 can also coincide with the center of the front side 1391.
[0054] Furthermore, the LEDs 131, for example the first LEDs 1311, the second LEDs 1312, the third LEDs 1313 and / or the fourth LEDs 1314, can each have an equal average distance from the center of the front side 1191, as shown in the Fig. 1A is shown.
[0055] For example, each hexagonal cell 1395 has an area of less than 6 mm 2 . In one embodiment, the fill factor, defined, for example, by the total light-emitting area of the LEDs 131 per area of the front side 1391, is at least 15%.
[0056] The carrier 139 may comprise a single-layer PCB configured to supply an electrical current to each of the LEDs 131, for example, by means of said current paths. The carrier 139 may also be configured as a single-layer PCB. The above-described arrangement of the LEDs 131 may be such that the current paths for the first LEDs 1311, the second LEDs 1312, and the third LEDs 1313, as well as the fourth LEDs 1314, do not intersect in any plane of the carrier 139. For example, the four different current paths run along the Fig. 1AThe solid line shown (for the first LEDs 1311), the dotted line (for the second LEDs 1312), the alternating dashed-dotted line (for the third LEDs 1313), and the dashed line (for the fourth LEDs 1314). Thus, according to one embodiment, a so-called multi-layer PCB can be dispensed with. All current paths can have the aforementioned wedge-shaped course, the tip of which points toward the center of the carrier 139.
[0057] Fig. 2 illustrates, on the basis of a vertical cross section, a further optional feature according to which the light source arrangement 13, which can be designed, for example, according to one or more of the embodiments described above, in particular the hexagonal tiling (see Fig. 1B) and / or the symmetrical distribution of the different LEDs 131, a liquid cooling system 135 coupled to the carrier 139, which is designed to dissipate waste heat produced by the LEDs 131.
[0058] The liquid cooling 135 can be arranged in a holder 1155, which can be fastened, for example, via one or more fastening elements 138 to a rear side 1192 of the carrier 139.
[0059] The liquid cooling system 135 can, for example, be connected to the rear side 1392 of the carrier 139. According to one embodiment, the liquid cooling system 135 has a supply line 1351 that conducts liquid to a central point on the rear side 1392, for example, opposite the said center point of the front side 1391. In other words, the central point can be a center point of the rear side 1392. Furthermore, the liquid cooling system 135 can comprise a discharge line 1352 that conducts liquid from the central point toward the edge region 1393 of the carrier 139. If the carrier 139 has, for example, an approximately circular cross-section, the supply line 1351 can run substantially perpendicular to the central point, which is opposite the center point of the front side 1391, to which the LEDs 131 can be arranged symmetrically. At this point, the supply line 1351 can merge into the discharge line 1352, which then carries the liquid, for example, in a radial direction toward the edge region 1393. In this way, a substantially homogeneous temperature distribution on the carrier 139 can be ensured. For example, the most heat loss is generated at the central point, so it may be expedient to supply the coolest liquid at this point and then discharge it in a radial direction, for example, in the direction of a negative temperature gradient.
[0060] With reference to the Fig. 3 to 5A further optional feature of the light source arrangement 13 will be explained. Accordingly, the light source arrangement 13, which can be configured, for example, according to one of the embodiments described above, for example with regard to the design of the front side 1391 of the carrier 139, the arrangement of the LEDs 131, and / or the dissipation of the power loss, can have a primary lens arrangement 15 positioned at a distance of between 50 µm and 1 mm from the LEDs 131, wherein the primary lens arrangement 15 comprises at least one lens element 151 for each of the LEDs 131.
[0061] For example, the LEDs 131 on the carrier 139 are not provided with a lens. According to one embodiment, the LEDs 131 are therefore not in contact with the lens elements 151, as is the case, for example, with known TIR lenses, which can be mounted directly onto the LEDs or slipped over them. Here, the LEDs 131 can be arranged completely spatially separated from the lens elements 151, for example, such that there is no spatial overlap area between the LEDs 131 and the lens elements 151.
[0062] The carrier 139 may have substantially the same area as a carrier 159 of the primary lens arrangement 15, as shown in the Figs. 3 and 4 If the front side 1391 of the carrier 139 has, for example, a structural pattern with a hexagonal tiling, at least one lens element 151 can be provided for each hexagonal cell 1395. In the Fig. 4The LEDs 131 are shown only schematically, and it is understood that the LEDs 131 do not necessarily have to be directly adjacent to one another. A front side 1591 of the carrier 159 of the primary lens arrangement 15 can also have a structural pattern with a hexagonal tiling, wherein a lens element 151 can be provided in each hexagonal cell of the structural pattern of the front side 1591.
[0063] The distance d between the primary lens arrangement 15 and the LEDs 131 is, for example, parallel to the light exit direction of the LEDs 131. It can be formed by an air gap 14. The lens elements 151 each have an identical shape, for example, hemispherical or aspherical on a light exit side. The total extension of the lens elements 151 parallel to the normal of the front side 1591 is, for example, in the range of 1 mm to 4 mm.
[0064] The lens elements 151 of the primary lens assembly 15 can be made of molded glass, plastic, or silicone. According to one embodiment, the primary lens assembly 15 is designed as a silicone-on-glass construction. For example, the carrier 159 can be made of glass, whereas the lens elements 151 can be made of silicone.
[0065] The graph 5A in the Fig. 5shows the luminance L in an arbitrary unit (arb. un. for short) over the location X, also in an arbitrary unit, as can be produced by the LEDs 131 according to one embodiment. Due to the distance between the LEDs 131 from one another, a pulse-like, i.e., discontinuous, curve can result over the location X, as illustrated by graph 5A. Without further optical processing, the luminance L produced by the LEDs 131 would, according to one embodiment, be essentially constant over the angular range α between -90° and +90°, as illustrated by graph 5B.
[0066] By means of the primary lens arrangement 15 arranged at a distance d from the LEDs 131, the spatial distribution of the luminance L can be homogenized (see graph 5C) and the light can be emitted in a light cone with a smaller aperture angle β, which is, for example, smaller than 35° (see graph 5D).
[0067] According to another aspect, a light mixing tube 17 may be arranged downstream of the primary lens arrangement 15, which may be Fig. 20 to 22 will be explained in more detail.
[0068] According to one embodiment, the light source assembly 13 is configured to operate at a power of at least 400 W and to emit light with an intensity of at least 25 thousand lumens (25 kJ / cm). At the same time, the diameter of the support 139 can be less than 50 mm.
[0069] The light source assembly 13 with the primary lens assembly can form a platform for many different types of headlights, as will be demonstrated below. In particular, the light source assembly 13 or several embodiments thereof can be used to form a headlight according to the Fig. 6 to 14 to train.
[0070] The Figures 6 to 8show various views of a spotlight 1 for illuminating a film, studio, stage, event, and / or theater environment. The spotlight 1 comprises a reflector assembly 11, which defines a reflector interior 114 with a reflective inner surface 113. The reflector assembly 11 may also include a pre-reflector 116, which may also contribute to the inner surface 113, as will be explained in more detail below. Hereinafter, the reflector assembly 11 will also be referred to simply as "reflector" 11.
[0071] The reflective inner surface 113 of the reflector 11 can be shaped like a truncated cone whose diameter increases in the direction of the light exit, or can be paraboloid-like. The reflector 11 emits the light approximately in the Z direction, which can be perpendicular to an XY plane. The reflector arrangement 11 can therefore be a curved reflector.
[0072] Furthermore, passive light guides 12 are provided, which have feed points 121. These feed points 121 are arranged outside the reflector interior 114. The light guides 12 also have light output points 122, which are arranged within the reflector interior 114. The light guides 12 can thus penetrate the inner surface 113 of the reflector arrangement 11 (as in the Fig. 14 shown, different in the embodiments according to Fig. 6-8 and 12 However, it may be advantageous that in the latter embodiments, the light guides 12 penetrate the reflector, contrary to the schematic representation, as in Fig. 14illustrated). The passive light guides 12 can have a longitudinal extension in the light guide direction R defined by a distance between the respective feed point 121 and the respective light output point 122, which is at least several times greater than a transverse extension perpendicular to the light guide direction R. The light guides 12 can be rod-shaped, for example.
[0073] Outside the reflector interior 114, an electrically operated light source arrangement is arranged, which is designed to generate light and feed it into the feed points 121 of the passive light guides 12. For example, the light source arrangement of the headlight 1 is designed according to one or more of the above-described embodiments of the light source arrangement 13. For example, such a light source arrangement 13 is provided at each light feed point 121 (see also Fig. 14 ).
[0074] The passive light guides 12 can be arranged radially symmetrically and point in a star shape to the same point of the reflector interior 114. The passive light guides 12 can be arranged along a fictitious circle, and the longitudinal extensions can each be aligned perpendicular to the circumferential course of the fictitious circle. Furthermore, contrary to the exemplary representation in the Figures 6-8 , 12 and 14- the number of passive light guides 12 can be odd. For example, the number is 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, or 15. More than 15 light guides 12 can also be provided. The passive light guides 12 can be arranged at a constant angular distance from one another. As described above, the reflective inner surface 113 of the reflector 11 can be shaped like a cylinder whose diameter increases in the direction of the light exit. The light output points 122 of the light guides 12 can be arranged concentrically with the inner surface 113 of the reflector 11.
[0075] Fig. 9 shows a side view of a light guide 12 and the Figs. 10 and 11show various cross-sections of a light guide 12. The light guide 12 can be designed to guide the light coupled at the light feed point 121 in the guide direction R to the light output point 122. Furthermore, the light guide 12 can be designed to mix the light coupled at the light feed point 121, so that, for example, mixed light exits at the light output point 122.
[0076] The light guide 12 can be designed as a total internal reflection (TIR) light guide. Accordingly, no or only an insignificant portion of the light exits radially along the longitudinal extent of the light guide 12. The light output point 122 of the passive light guide 12 can be formed by a substantially planar light guide end surface 1221, whose surface normal N can be oriented at an angle of less than 30° to the longitudinal extent of the respective light guide 12. Furthermore, in some embodiments, this angle is greater than 5°. In other words, in some embodiments, the light guide end surface 1221 is not arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the light guide 12, but rather at an angle thereto.
[0077] The light guide 12 may be formed from a glass material. The light guide 12 may have a substantially cylindrical shape, for example, a nearly circular cross-section, as shown in the Fig. 10 In other embodiments, the light guide 12 has a polygonal cross-section, for example a hexagonal cross-section, as shown in the Fig. 11 For example, the cross-section remains constant in terms of its area and shape over at least 95% of the longitudinal extent of the light guide 12.
[0078] The cross-sectional area of the light guide 12 can be adapted to the light source arrangement 13. If the light source arrangement 13 is configured, for example, according to one of the embodiments described above, the cross-sectional area of the light guide 12 perpendicular to the light-guiding direction R is, for example, the area of the front side 1391 of the carrier 139 of the light source 13 multiplied by a factor of 0.9 to 1.5. This factor can vary depending on the distance between the light source 13 and the light guide 12.
[0079] All light guides provided in the headlight 1 can be designed identically, for example as described in the preceding paragraphs.
[0080] According to the embodiment according to the Figs. 12 and 13The headlight 1 can additionally comprise a lens arrangement 14 arranged in the reflector interior 114, which has two concentrically aligned diverging lens elements 141, 142, the inner surfaces 1411, 1421 of which each have a wave structure. The lens arrangement 14 serves, for example, to virtually magnify the light source and thus generate a larger beam angle of the headlight, for example to achieve or implement a zoom function. For this purpose, the two lens elements 141, 142 can be arranged so that they can be moved relative to one another, so that the relevant distance between the lens element 141 and the lens element 142 can be changed. For example, only one of the two lens elements 141, 142 is arranged so that it can be moved relative to one another, or both lens elements 141, 142 are arranged so that they can be moved relative to one another.
[0081] Finally, the Fig. 14a further embodiment of the headlight 1, according to which the reflector arrangement 11 has a carrier 115 which forms or carries the reflective inner surface 113. In this case, the light source arrangement 13 can be arranged completely outside the carrier 115. In the example according to the Fig. 14 A separate light source arrangement 13 is provided for each light guide 12. Due to the arrangement of the light source arrangements 13 outside the carrier 115, there are no specifications regarding the dimensioning of the light source arrangements 13 that would arise due to the size of the reflector interior 114. The inner surface 113 can have recesses 1131 through which the light guides 12 can pass, so that the light can be fed to the reflector 11 or the pre-reflector 116 at the light output points 122.
[0082] The light source arrangements 13 for the headlight 1 according to one or more of the embodiments according to the Fig. 6 to 14 can be designed as it is with reference to the Fig. 1 to 5 has been explained above. Accordingly, a respective light source arrangement 13 can in particular comprise the carrier 139 with a hexagonal tiling located on the front side 1391 and the LEDs 131, which can be distributed symmetrically with respect to the center of the front side 1391 according to the embodiments described above. Furthermore, each light source arrangement 13 can be provided with a primary lens arrangement 15 arranged downstream of the latter according to one of the embodiments described above. The light which is coupled out by this primary lens arrangement 15 can then be fed to the light feed point 121 of a respective light guide 12. Furthermore, contrary to the schematic representation of the Fig. 14 Instead of air cooling by means of cooling fins, said liquid cooling 135 may be provided.
[0083] With reference to the Fig. 15 to 18A further embodiment of a headlight 1 according to another aspect of the invention is explained. The headlight 1 shown therein can have a light source arrangement 13 with a primary lens arrangement 15 according to one of the embodiments described above. The primary lens arrangement 15 emits the light, for example, at an angle β of less than or equal to + / - 35°. Regarding further exemplary embodiments of the light source arrangement 13 and a primary lens arrangement 15 with the, reference is made to the above.
[0084] A condenser arrangement 18 can be provided at a distance A of at least 40% of the diameter of the support 139 of the light source arrangement 13. The distance can also be approximately 50% of the diameter of the support 139. For example, the condenser arrangement 18 has a light incidence surface 181 that is concave relative to the location of the light source arrangement 13. For example, the distance A is not changed during operation of the headlight 1. The condenser arrangement 18 can, as shown in the Fig. 15 and 17-18 shown, have the shape of a spherical shell element. Thus, in one embodiment, the condenser arrangement 18 does not have a planar shape, as, for example, the primary lens arrangement 15, but that of a spherical cap. A Fresnel lens arrangement 19 can be arranged downstream at a further distance D from the condenser arrangement 18, as shown in Fig. 18 According to one embodiment, the headlight 1 is shown in the Fig. 15-18designed as a Fresnel spotlight. The Fresnel lens arrangement 19 can be arranged to be movable with respect to its distance D from the condenser arrangement 18. At a short distance D from the condenser arrangement 18, the Fresnel spotlight 1 is operated, for example, in a so-called flood setting, and at a large distance D from the condenser arrangement 18, the Fresnel spotlight 1 is operated, for example, in a so-called spot setting.
[0085] The condenser array 18 may comprise a plurality of microlenses 18-1 to 18-n arranged according to a pattern. An exemplary pattern is shown in FIG. Fig. 16The following will be explained: the microlenses 18-1 to 18-n can be positioned along a plurality of concentric circles. A number of microlenses per circle can be increased in the radial direction. Furthermore, the microlenses 18-1 to 18-n of each circle can be spaced apart from one another at an equal distance angle. This distance angle can decrease from circle to circle, so that an azimuthal density of the microlenses 18-1 to 18-n increases in the radial direction. Furthermore, a microlens 18-y of one of the circles can be arranged sheared by a shear angle compared to a reference microlens 18-x of an adjacent circle. This shear angle can be the golden angle (∼137.5°). This shear angle can apply to all adjacent circles. Starting, for example, from the first (inner) circle to the second circle, the shearing can occur around the golden angle. From the second circular line to the third circular line, the shearing again occurs around the golden angle, etc. A single microlens 18-1 can be arranged in a center of the condenser arrangement 18.
[0086] In the radial direction, the circular lines can be arranged at an equidistant distance from one another. In other embodiments, the distance between circular lines can vary radially.
[0087] Based on the Fig. 17It is clarified that the microlenses 18-1 to 18-n can each be double-sided, i.e., they can have a respective entrance surface 18-i1 on the light incidence side 181 and a respective exit surface 18-i2 on the light exit side 182. The entrance surface 18-x1 and the exit surface 18-x2 can be symmetrical to one another with respect to a center line 183 of the condenser arrangement 18. The entrance surface 18-x1 can be formed by an entrance lenslet, and the exit surface 18-x2 by an exit lenslet. With respect to the center line 183, both the entrance surface 18-x1 and the exit surface 18-x2 can have a concave profile. From another perspective, the microlenses 18-1 to 18-n may each have a biconvex shape.
[0088] According to one embodiment, the microlenses 18-1 to 18-n are aligned with a common reference point X, which is located in front of the carrier 139 of the light source arrangement 13, as shown in the Fig. 17 The capacitor arrangement 18 may have the shape of a shell piece of a fictitious sphere (spherical cap), and the reference point X may be located at the center of this fictitious sphere.
[0089] With reference to the Fig. 19 to 26 A further embodiment of a headlight 1 is explained. The headlight 1 shown therein can have a light source arrangement 13 with a primary lens arrangement 15 according to one of the embodiments described above. The primary lens arrangement 15 emits the light, for example, at an aperture angle β of less than or equal to + / - 35°. Regarding further exemplary embodiments of the light source arrangement 13 of a primary lens arrangement 15, reference is made to the above.
[0090] At a distance Z of, for example, 60 to 150 mm from the primary lens arrangement 15, a field lens arrangement 20 can be provided. The field lens arrangement 20 can be convex-planar. Furthermore, the field lens arrangement 20 can be made of pressed glass. For example, a light mixing tube 17 transmits the light emitted by the primary lens arrangement 15 to the field lens arrangement 20. The light mixing tube 17 can be designed to mix the light emitted by the primary lens arrangement 15. Thus, the primary lens arrangement 15 and the field lens arrangement 20 can be coupled to one another by means of the light mixing tube 17. The field lens arrangement 20 can furthermore be provided with a Fig. 26 The projection optics 21 can be arranged downstream of the headlight 1. The projection optics 21 can, for example, have a pnp lens arrangement. According to one embodiment, the headlight 1 is designed according to the Fig. 19-26designed as a followspot (also known as an "ellipsoidal" or "followspot" spotlight).
[0091] At this point it should be emphasized that the headlight 1 according to the embodiments of the Fig. 19 to 26 the field lens arrangement 20 does not necessarily have to include. According to one embodiment, the headlight 1 comprises the light source arrangement 13 with the primary lens arrangement 15 and the light mixing tube 17 coupled thereto, as shown in the Fig. 20 to 22 The light mixing tube 17 can emit the light directly onto the area to be illuminated.
[0092] To form or support the mixing functionality of the light mixing tube 17, the light mixing tube 17 can have internal and axially extending depressions 171, as shown in the Fig. 25 In other embodiments, the light mixing tube 17 has a polygonal cross-sectional shape, for example a hexagonal one, as in Fig. 24illustrated. The material of the light mixing tube 17 facing into the interior of the light mixing tube 17 can, for example, comprise a silver, for example an Alanod-Miro-Silver ®< .
[0093] In the Fig. 20 to 23 Further embodiments of the headlight 1 are shown. According to the embodiment according to the Fig. 20 The light mixing tube 17 is essentially cylindrical. In this embodiment, in which a field lens arrangement 20 is not provided, the headlight 1 emits, for example, a telecentric light, wherein the aperture angle of the emitted light differs little or not at all from the non-emergency angle at the primary lens arrangement 15 (there, for example, less than + / - 35°). According to the embodiment according to the Fig. 21, in which a field lens arrangement 20 is not provided, a cross-sectional area of the light mixing tube 17 is reduced in the light guiding direction, so that hypercentric light can be emitted at an increased light exit angle. According to the embodiment according to the Fig. 22 , in which a field lens arrangement 20 is not provided, the cross-sectional area of the light mixing tube 17 increases in the light guiding direction, so that homocentric light can be output with a smaller light exit angle. Even according to the embodiment according to the Fig. 23 the cross-sectional area of the light mixing tube 17 increases in the light guiding direction, wherein the field lens arrangement 20 is additionally provided so that hypercentric light can be emitted with a smaller light exit angle.
[0094] One or more of the embodiments described above allow the construction of a compact and lightweight spotlight with high luminous intensity and luminous flux, which can also be manufactured cost-effectively. The above-described light source assembly 13 with the primary lens assembly 15 can be used as a platform for a variety of different spotlights, such as the above-described spotlight with the plurality of light guides projecting into a reflector interior, for a Fresnel spotlight, and / or for a followspot.
