Description
[0001] The invention relates to a measuring device for measuring electrical quantities, in particular electrical voltages and / or electrical currents, comprising a housing body comprising a housing space and at least one measuring device arranged or formed in the housing space for measuring an electrical quantity that can be measured or is to be measured by means of the measuring device.
[0002] Such measuring devices for measuring electrical quantities, in particular electrical voltages and / or electrical currents, are known from the prior art in various designs, e.g., in the form of multimeters. Such measuring devices can be designed as stationary or mobile or portable devices.
[0003] In particular, for the variant of a measuring device designed as a mobile or portable terminal, it is known to provide the electrical energy required for operating the measuring device or corresponding measuring devices arranged or configured in the housing space of a measuring device-side housing body via an electrical energy storage device, i.e., typically via an electrical accumulator, or accumulator for short. For this purpose, the electrical energy storage device must be connected in a suitable manner to the housing body of the measuring device, with a connection typically comprising both an electrical and a mechanical connection between the electrical energy storage device and the housing body of the measuring device.
[0004] Known approaches to implementing such a connection are sometimes complex and not very compact, particularly in terms of functionality and design, creating a need for an improved measuring device in this regard. Similar measuring devices were disclosed in WO 2009 / 126824 A1 and GMC-I Messtechnik GmbH: "METRALINE EXM25 1-15 Multimeter for Use in Hazardous Areas," published on October 1, 2016, pages 1-4.
[0005] The invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a measuring device for measuring electrical quantities, which enables an improved connection of the housing body on the measuring device side to an electrical energy storage device, in particular in terms of functionality and design.
[0006] The object is achieved by a measuring device according to claim 1. The dependent claims relate to possible embodiments of the measuring device.
[0007] The measuring device described herein is generally used to measure electrical quantities or measured quantities, i.e., in particular, electrical currents and / or electrical voltages. The measuring device may, for example, be a multimeter, sometimes also referred to as a multimeter.
[0008] The measuring device comprises a housing body whose spatial and physical shape is defined by walls or wall sections. The housing body can be made up of one or more parts; in a multi-part design, the housing body comprises a number of housing body segments which are connectable or connected to one another to form the housing body. Regardless of the single-part or multi-part design, the housing body comprises a housing space; this is typically an internal housing volume delimited by corresponding walls or wall sections of the housing body. The housing space serves functionally, at least in sections, as a receiving space for various electrical or electronic components or assemblies of the measuring device. As an example of a corresponding electrical or electronic component orAt least one measuring device is arranged or configured in the component group for measuring an electrical quantity that can be measured or is to be measured by the measuring device, i.e., in particular, for receiving and processing measurement signals relating to an electrical quantity that can be measured or is to be measured by the measuring device. The measuring device can, for example, be configured as or comprise measuring electronics implemented in hardware and / or software.
[0009] The measuring device is typically designed as a mobile or portable device.
[0010] The measuring device is supplied with electrical energy via an electrical energy storage device (hereinafter referred to as energy storage device for short), i.e. in particular a rechargeable electrical energy storage device, such as an electrical accumulator, or battery for short. The electrical energy required for operating the measuring device or components of the measuring device to be electrically supplied, i.e. in particular the measuring device-side measuring device arranged or formed in the housing space of a housing body on the measuring device, is thus provided via an energy storage device. Accordingly, the measuring device is typically assigned at least one energy storage device for electrically supplying the measuring device, in particular the measuring device, with electrical energy, or the measuring device comprises at least one energy storage device.
[0011] To connect the measuring device or the housing body to a corresponding energy storage device, the housing body has at least one receiving area for the detachable (damage- or non-destructively) reception of an energy storage device. The receiving area is designed as a shaft-like or shaft-shaped recess in the housing body.
[0012] A shaft-like or -shaped recess is understood to mean both a design of the receiving area that is open on one side only and a design of the receiving area that is open on multiple sides. The design of the receiving area designed as a shaft-like or -shaped recess can therefore consist in the recess being open on one side, i.e. the housing body has a channel-like or -shaped opening extending into or through the housing body in a shaft-like or -shaped manner, which is designed to (fully) accommodate a corresponding energy storage device via a (single) access area. Typically, only one end face of an (essentially cuboid-shaped) energy storage device accommodated in a correspondingly designed receiving area is visible; all other sides of the energy storage device are surrounded or enclosed by the housing body. The receiving area has a cross-sectional geometry that is opposite to the, in particular rectangular, cross-sectional geometry of the energy storage device to be accommodated therein; a correspondingly designed receiving area typically has a rectangular cross-sectional geometry.
[0013] However, the design of the receiving area as a shaft-like or -shaped recess can also consist in the recess being open on multiple sides, i.e. in particular on two sides, i.e. the housing body has a channel-like or -shaped opening extending shaft-like or -shaped into or through the housing body, which is configured via two access areas each for the (complete) accommodation of a corresponding energy storage device. Of an energy storage device accommodated in a correspondingly designed receiving area, typically one end face and an exposed top or bottom face are visible; all other sides of the energy storage device are surrounded or enclosed by the housing body.In this variant, too, the receiving area typically has a cross-sectional geometry that is opposite to the, in particular rectangular, cross-sectional geometry of the energy storage device to be accommodated therein; a correspondingly designed receiving area typically has a (substantially) U-shaped cross-sectional geometry.
[0014] In all cases, the receiving area thus defines a receiving space in which a corresponding energy storage device can be accommodated and thus connected to the energy storage device. The shaft-like or -shaped design of the receiving area enables an improved connection of the housing body to a corresponding energy storage device, particularly in terms of both functionality and design.
[0015] As will become apparent below, an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area or space is typically permanently connected to the housing body. A connection between the energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area and the housing body typically includes an electrical connection, i.e., an electrical contacting of the respective electrical connection elements on the measuring device or housing body side, as well as a mechanical connection of the energy storage device to the housing body.
[0016] The receiving area is designed as a slide-in area into which an energy storage device to be accommodated in the receiving area can be inserted, or as a plug-in area into which an energy storage device to be accommodated in the receiving area can be inserted. The geometric and structural dimensions of the receiving area are in all cases selected with regard to the geometric and structural dimensions of an energy storage device to be accommodated in the receiving area, so that a corresponding energy storage device can be inserted or plugged in, as well as an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area can be removed from the receiving area. Typically, the shaft-like or shaped shape of the receiving area defines an insertion or insertion direction that is intuitively recognizable for a user, which simplifies handling of the measuring device in connection with the installation or removal of an energy storage device.
[0017] The receiving area can be dimensioned, particularly with regard to the dimensions of an energy storage device to be accommodated therein, such that an energy storage device accommodated therein is accommodated flush with the wall sections of the housing body that delimit the receiving area. The energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area can therefore be flush with the wall sections of the housing body that delimit the receiving area. The dimensions of the measuring device therefore typically do not change, or only change insignificantly, due to the accommodation of an energy storage device in the housing-body-side receiving area, which results in a compact design of the housing body even in the state in which an energy storage device is accommodated in the housing-body-side receiving area.
[0018] The receiving area can be formed, for example, in the region of a rear or underside of the housing body. The rear or underside of the housing body is typically the side of the housing body which is arranged or formed opposite a side of the housing body equipped with at least one display element, e.g., a display, for displaying information and / or an operating element for operating the measuring device and / or a measuring connection element for connecting a measuring cable to the measuring device. The housing body can therefore be equipped with at least one display element for displaying information and / or an operating element for operating the measuring device.
[0019] The measuring device or the housing body can comprise a guide device for movably guiding an energy storage device to be accommodated or accommodated in the receiving area at least between a first guide position, in particular a guide start position, and a second guide position, in particular a guide end position. A corresponding guide device enables stable and reliable guidance of an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area between corresponding guide positions and thus improves the handling of the measuring device in connection with the installation or removal of an energy storage device. A corresponding second guide position, ie in particular a guide end position, can be defined by a stop formed or arranged on the housing body.A corresponding stop can be arranged or formed by a wall section of the housing body delimiting the receiving area or in the area of a wall section of the housing body delimiting the receiving area.
[0020] The guide device can comprise at least one first guide element arranged or formed on the housing body side and at least one second guide element arranged or formed on the energy storage device side, which are configured to cooperate to form the movable guide of an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area. Corresponding first and second guide elements can cooperate in a form-fitting manner; corresponding guide elements can therefore be corresponding form-fitting elements, for example, projections or corresponding receptacles.
[0021] The measuring device or the housing body can alternatively or additionally comprise a safety device for securing an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area, particularly in a leading end position, against unwanted movement of the energy storage device out of the receiving area. A corresponding safety device enables stable and reliable accommodation of an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area and thus improves the handling of the measuring device; the measuring device can thus be moved as desired, e.g., by a user, without risking loss of the energy storage device.
[0022] The securing device can comprise at least one first securing element arranged or formed on the housing body side and at least one second securing element arranged or formed on the energy storage device side, which are configured to cooperate to secure an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area. Corresponding first and second securing elements can interact in a form-fitting manner, analogous to respective first and second guide elements (if present); corresponding guide elements can therefore be corresponding form-fitting elements, for example, hook-like or hook-shaped projections or corresponding receptacles.First securing elements formed on the housing body side can be spring-loaded into a securing position by means of a spring force exerted by a respective spring element, so that securing is achieved by moving them under spring force against the second securing elements formed on the energy storage side, forming a positive connection. This positive connection can be released by actuating respective actuating elements coupled to respective first securing elements against the spring force. Corresponding actuating elements can be arranged in the region of the housing body and mounted so as to be movable relative thereto between at least two actuating positions, wherein at least one actuating position results in a release of the positive connection.
[0023] In order to establish a connection between an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area and the respective components of the measuring device to be supplied with electricity, the housing body comprises an electrical connection element, i.e. in particular an electrical contact, forming part of an electrical connection device on the housing body side, for electrically connecting an energy storage device accommodated in the receiving area. A corresponding electrical connection element is arranged or formed in the region of the receiving area. In this way, it can be ensured that, by properly accommodating an energy storage device in the receiving area, an electrical connection between the energy storage device and the respective components of the measuring device to be supplied with electricity can be established or is established.
[0024] A corresponding electrical connection element can be arranged or formed in particular in the region of a wall section of the housing body that delimits the receiving area. According to a particularly expedient arrangement or formation, the electrical connection element is arranged or formed in a touch-protected manner within a recess that is recessed in the region of a wall section of the housing body that delimits the receiving area. The electrical connection element can thus be arranged or formed, for example, set back from a wall section of the housing body that delimits the receiving area, so that touching the electrical connection element is not possible. Such a touch-protected (e.g. in accordance with the relevant standards for touch protection of electrical or electronic devices) arrangement orThe design of the electrical connection elements on the housing body side results in significant safety advantages. Due to the fact that the electrical connection elements on the housing body side are arranged in a touch-protected manner, the electrical connection elements cannot be touched, even if an electrical measuring voltage, such as a high voltage, is present during operation of the measuring device. Accordingly, electrically disconnecting the measuring device from a measuring circuit is not (necessarily) required when replacing an energy storage device.
[0025] With regard to the energy storage device, an electrical connection element forming part of an energy storage-side electrical connection device for electrically connecting the energy storage device received in the receiving area to an electrical connection device on the housing body side or an electrical connection element associated therewith is designed as a projection protruding from an energy storage-side housing body, in particular in a projection-like or projection-shaped manner.A corresponding approach is designed, when electrically connected to a housing-body-side electrical connection element forming part of a housing-body-side electrical connection device, to engage in a recess formed, as described, in the region of a wall section of the housing body that delimits the housing-body-side receiving area, in which recess the electrical connection element forming part of the housing-body-side connection device is arranged or formed. An energy storage-side electrical connection element is accordingly dimensioned, in particular in the longitudinal direction with respect to a longitudinal axis of the connection element, such that it can be contacted with a correspondingly contact-protected electrical connection element on the housing body. The energy storage-side electrical connection element is typically insulated in such a way, i.e.surrounded in sections by an insulating material that prevents a user from touching it.
[0026] In connection with the energy storage device, it should also be mentioned that, if designed as a rechargeable energy storage device, it can be provided with a further electrical connection element, this can be e.g. a USB port which can be connected to a standard USB charging cable, via which it can be connected to a charging cable or the like during a charging process. This further connection element can be arranged or formed in the region of a side of a housing body on the energy storage side, which side is not accessible when the energy storage device is received in the housing body-side receiving area. The energy storage device must therefore be removed from the receiving area in order to be charged, which has, among other things, safety-related advantages.
[0027] To protect the measuring device from external, i.e., particularly mechanical, influences, such as improper handling, falls, etc., the measuring device can comprise a protective covering that is detachably connectable or connected to the housing body and, when connected to the housing body, surrounds the housing body at least in sections to protect the housing body from external influences. The protective covering can be formed from a material that absorbs or dampens mechanical influences, such as an elastomer or rubber material, or from a material structure that absorbs or dampens mechanical influences, such as a foam or cellular structure.
[0028] The protective casing can be configured with at least one recess through which an energy storage device accommodated in the housing body-side receiving area can be removed from the receiving area, or through which an energy storage device to be accommodated in the housing body-side receiving area can be inserted into the receiving area. In this way, changing an energy storage device is also possible if a corresponding protective casing is connected to the housing body. In addition to a corresponding recess for an energy storage device, the protective casing can also be configured with at least one further recess, in particular for display and / or operating and / or measuring connection elements arranged or formed on the housing body.
[0029] The invention is explained in more detail using exemplary embodiments in the drawings. In the drawings: Fig. 1 - 6 each show a schematic diagram of a measuring device according to one embodiment; Fig. 7, 8 each show a schematic diagram of a measuring device according to a further embodiment; and Fig. 9, 10 each show a schematic diagram of a protective casing according to an embodiment.
[0030] The Fig. 1 - 6 each show a schematic diagram of a measuring device 1 according to a first embodiment; the measuring device 1 is in Fig. 1 in a front view, in Fig. 2 in a perspective view of the front and in Fig. 3 shown in a perspective view of the back.
[0031] Measuring device 1 is used to measure electrical quantities or measured quantities, i.e., in particular, electrical currents and / or electrical voltages. Measuring device 1 can be, for example, a multimeter. Measuring device 1 is designed as a mobile or portable device.
[0032] The measuring device 1 comprises a housing body 2, the spatial-physical shape of which is defined by walls 2a-2f or wall sections. In the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures, the walls 2a-2f are designated by way of example, wherein the walls 2a, 2b each form a lateral wall forming a side of the housing body 2, the wall 2c forms a front wall forming the front side of the housing body 2, the wall 2d forms a rear wall forming the rear or back side of the housing body 2, the wall 2e forms an upper wall forming the top side of the housing body 2, and the wall 2f forms a lower wall forming the underside of the housing body 2. The housing body 2 can be designed in one or more parts; The walls 2a - 2f can thus represent wall sections of a one-piece housing body 2 or respective housing body segments which can be connected or are connected to one another to form the housing body 2.
[0033] The housing body 2 comprises a housing (inner) space (not shown in detail); this is an inner housing body volume delimited by corresponding walls or wall sections of the housing body 2. The housing space functionally serves as a receiving space for accommodating various electrical or electronic components or assemblies of the measuring device 1. A measuring device (not shown) for measuring an electrical quantity that can be measured or is to be measured by the measuring device 1, i.e. in particular for receiving and processing measurement signals relating to an electrical quantity that can be measured or is to be measured by the measuring device 1, is arranged or designed in the housing space.
[0034] The measuring device 1 is provided with an energy storage device 3 (see in particular Fig. 4 - 6 ), i.e., in particular, a rechargeable electrical energy storage device, such as an electrical accumulator, for supplying the measuring device 1, in particular the measuring system, with electrical energy, via which the measuring device 1 is supplied with electrical energy. The electrical energy required for the operation of the measuring device 1 or the measuring system is thus provided via the energy storage device 3.
[0035] In order to connect the measuring device 1 or the housing body 2 with the energy storage device 3, the housing body 2 has a receiving area 4 for the (damage-free or non-destructive) detachable reception of the energy storage device 3. The receiving area 4 is designed as a shaft-like or -shaped recess 5 in the housing body 2 (see in particular Fig. 4 - 6 ). In the embodiments shown in the figures, the receiving area 4 is formed in the area of the rear side of the housing body 2.
[0036] The shaft-like or -shaped recess 5 designed embodiment of the receiving area 4 consists in the embodiments shown in the figures in that the recess 5 is open on several sides, ie two sides, ie that the housing body 2 has a channel-like or -shaped opening 6 extending in the manner of a shaft or -shaped into or through the housing body 2. Based on the Fig. 2, 3 It can be seen that one end face and one top face of the energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4 are exposed and thus visible, while all other sides of the energy storage device 3 are surrounded or enclosed by the housing body 2. Fig. 4 - 6 It can be seen that the receiving area 4 has a cross-sectional geometry that is opposite to the (essentially) cuboid-shaped cross-sectional geometry of the energy storage device 3; specifically, in the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures, the receiving area 4 has a (essentially) U-shaped cross-sectional geometry.
[0037] The energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4 is captively connected to the housing body 2. A connection of the energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4 to the housing body 2 includes an electrical connection, i.e., an electrical contacting of the respective electrical connection elements 7 on the measuring device or housing body side, as well as a mechanical connection of the energy storage device 3 to the housing body 2.
[0038] In the embodiments shown in the figures, the receiving area 4 is designed as a plug-in or push-in area into which the energy storage device 3 to be accommodated in the receiving area 4 can be plugged or pushed in.
[0039] The geometrical-constructive dimensions of the receiving area 4 are therefore selected with regard to the geometrical-constructive dimensions of the energy storage device 3 to be accommodated in the receiving area 4, so that the energy storage device 3 can be inserted or pushed in, as well as the energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4 can be removed from the receiving area 4 (cf. Fig. 4 - 6 ). The energy storage device 3 is inserted or pushed into the Fig. 4 - 6 indicated by the arrow P1.
[0040] The receiving area 4 is dimensioned with regard to the dimensions of the energy storage device 3 to be accommodated therein in such a way that the energy storage device 3 accommodated therein is flush with the wall sections of the housing body 2 delimiting the receiving area 4 (cf. e.g. Fig. 3 ). The energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4 is therefore flush with the wall sections of the housing body 2 that delimit the receiving area 4.
[0041] In the embodiments shown in the figures, the measuring device 1 comprises a guide device 10 for movably guiding the energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4 between a first guide position, in particular a Fig. 5 shown initial guide position, and a second guide position, in particular one shown in the Fig. 2, 3 shown guide end position, and vice versa. The second guide position, i.e., the guide end position, is clearly defined by a stop formed on the housing body side. The stop is formed by a wall section 9 of the housing body 2 that delimits the receiving area 4 and extends transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the housing body 2.
[0042] The guide device 10 comprises first guide elements 10a formed on the housing body side, which in the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures are formed by wall sections of the housing body 2 that delimit the receiving area 4, and second guide elements 10b formed on the energy storage side, which in the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures are formed by wall sections that laterally delimit a housing body 11 of the energy storage device 3. The guide elements 10a, 10b are designed to interact in a form-fitting manner to form the movable guide of the energy storage device 3 to be received or received in the receiving area 4; corresponding guide elements 10a, 10b can be corresponding form-fitting elements, i.e., projections or corresponding receptacles, although not shown in the figures.
[0043] The measuring device 1 further comprises a safety device 12 for securing the energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4, in particular in the leading end position, against an undesired movement of the energy storage device 3 out of the receiving area 4.
[0044] The securing device 12 comprises first securing elements 12a formed on the housing body side, which in the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures are formed by positive-locking elements in the form of receiving openings in the region of the wall sections of the housing body 2 that delimit the receiving area 4, and second securing elements 12b formed on the energy storage side, which in the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures are formed by positive-locking elements in the form of hook-like or hook-shaped projections that protrude longitudinally from the housing body 11 of the energy storage device 3. The securing elements 12a, 12b are designed to cooperate in a positive-locking manner to secure the energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4.The first securing elements 12a formed on the housing body side can be spring-loaded in the securing position by means of a spring force exerted by a respective spring element (not shown), so that securing is achieved by moving them under spring force against the second securing elements 12b formed on the energy storage side, forming a positive connection. In the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures, this positive connection can be released by actuating respective actuating elements 13 coupled to respective first securing elements 12a against the spring force. In the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures, the actuating elements 13 are arranged in the region of the housing body 2 and are mounted so as to be movable relative to the latter between at least two actuating positions, wherein at least one actuating position results in a release of the positive connection.
[0045] In order to establish a connection between an energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4 and the respective components of the measuring device 1 that are to be supplied with electricity, the housing body 2 comprises the electrical connection element 7, i.e., in particular, an electrical contact, forming part of an electrical connection device 8 on the housing body. The electrical connection element 7 is arranged in the area of the receiving area 4. Thus, by properly accommodating the energy storage device 3 in the receiving area 4, an electrical connection between the energy storage device 3 and the respective components of the measuring device 1 that are to be supplied with electricity can be established or is established.
[0046] Based on the Fig. 4 - 6 it can be seen that the electrical connection element 7 is arranged in the region of a wall section 9 of the housing body 2 which delimits the receiving area 4. Specifically, in the exemplary embodiments shown in the figures, the electrical connection element 7 is arranged in a touch-protected manner within a recess 14 in the region of the wall section 9 delimiting the receiving area 4, in a recess 14 which is recessed with respect to a wall section 9 delimiting the receiving area 4. The electrical connection element 7 is thus arranged set back from the wall section 9 delimiting the receiving area 4, so that touching the electrical connection element 7 is not possible. Due to the fact that the electrical connection element 7 on the housing body side is arranged in a touch-protected manner, the electrical connection element 7 is, for example, also in the event of any electrical measuring voltage present during operation of the measuring device 1, i.e.a high voltage, not touchable. Accordingly, electrically disconnecting the measuring device 1 from a measuring circuit when changing the energy storage device 3 is not (necessarily) necessary.
[0047] Based on the Fig. 4 - 6 It can also be seen that an electrical connection element 16 forming part of an energy storage-side electrical connection device 15 for electrically connecting the energy storage device 3 accommodated in the receiving area 4 to the housing-body-side electrical connection device 8 or the electrical connection element 7 associated therewith is designed as a projection-like or projection-shaped extension protruding from the energy storage-side housing body 11. A corresponding extension is designed, when electrically connected to the housing-body-side electrical connection element 7, to engage in the recess 14 formed in the region of the wall section 9 delimiting the receiving area 4, in which recess 14 the electrical connection element 7 is arranged. The energy storage-side electrical connection element 16 is therefore dimensioned, particularly in the longitudinal direction relative to a longitudinal axis of the connection element, such that it can be contacted with the electrical connection element 7 arranged on the housing body in a touch-protected manner. The energy storage-side electrical connection element 16 is typically insulated in such a way that contact by a user is not possible.
[0048] The energy storage device 3 is provided with a further electrical connection element (not shown). This can be, for example, a USB port that can be connected to a standard USB charging cable, via which it can be connected to a charging cable or the like during a charging process. This further connection element is arranged or formed in the region of a side of the energy storage-side housing body 11, which is not accessible when the energy storage device 3 is received in the receiving area 4; the further electrical connection element is therefore not visible in the figures. The energy storage device 3 must therefore be removed from the receiving area 4 in order to be charged, which brings with it safety-relevant advantages.
[0049] The Fig. 7 , 8each show a schematic diagram of a measuring device 1 according to a second embodiment that can be combined with the first embodiment; the measuring device 1 is in Fig. 7 in a perspective view of the front and in Fig. 8 shown in a perspective view of the back. The Fig. 8, 9 each show a schematic diagram of a protective covering 17; the protective covering 17 is in Fig. 9 in a perspective view of the front and in Fig. 10 shown in a perspective view of the back.
[0050] The protective cover 17 serves to protect the measuring device 1 from external, i.e., particularly mechanical, influences, such as improper handling, falls, etc. The protective cover 17 is detachably connectable or connected to the housing body 2 of the measuring device 1 (see. Fig. 7 , 8) and surrounds it in sections when connected to the housing body 2. The protective covering 17 is formed from a material that absorbs or dampens mechanical influences, such as an elastomer or rubber material, or a material structure that absorbs or dampens mechanical influences, such as a foam or cellular structure.
[0051] Based on the Fig. 7 - 10It can be seen that the protective covering 17 is formed with a recess 18 through which an energy storage device 3 received in the housing body-side receiving area 4 can be removed from the receiving area 4, or an energy storage device 3 to be received in the housing body-side receiving area 4 can be inserted into the receiving area 4. In this way, a change of an energy storage device 3 is also possible when the protective covering 17 is connected to the housing body 2. In addition to a corresponding recess 18 for the energy storage device 3, the protective covering 17 is also formed with at least one further recess, in particular for display elements 19, operating elements 20 or measuring connection elements 21 arranged or formed on the housing body side.
