Description

Technical area

[0001] The application concerns a fastening element strip. State of the art

[0002] Driving devices typically have a setting channel for fasteners that runs in a fastening direction and a magazine for transporting the fasteners in a transport direction to the setting channel. The fasteners are typically provided in the form of fastener strips, with each such fastener strip comprising receptacles for the fasteners. The receptacles of a strip are arranged in a row and connected to one another by connecting webs. The fastener strips are inserted one after the other into a transport channel of the magazine.

[0003] Magazines and fastener strips are known in which the fastening direction and the transport direction form an acute angle. This means that the fasteners are offset from one another in the fastening direction such that a fastener that is at the front in the transport direction is also the front fastener in the fastening direction. If several fastener strips are arranged one behind the other in the transport channel, this leads to a force on a fastener strip that is ahead in the transport direction, which force has a force component that is opposite to the fastening direction. This results in increased friction during transport of the fastener strips.

[0004] Examples are known from EP 0 987 086 A2 and US 5 046 396 A. Description of the invention

[0005] It is an object of the invention to provide a fastener strip which can be easily transported in a magazine.

[0006] The object is achieved in a fastening element strip with receiving elements and fastening elements received in the receiving elements, which each define a fastening direction which is the same for all fastening elements, wherein the receiving elements are arranged in at least one row which defines a transport direction, a frontmost receiving element and a rearmost receiving element, wherein the fastening direction and the transport direction enclose an acute angle with one another, wherein the fastening element strip has a support element for supporting the frontmost receiving element against the fastening direction and / or a counter-support element for supporting the rearmost receiving element in the fastening direction.By supporting the frontmost or rearmost receiving element, a force component which is exerted on the receiving element in the fastening direction or against the fastening direction is absorbed, so that frictional forces are reduced when transporting the fastening element strip in a transport channel of a magazine.

[0007] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the frontmost receiving element has the support element and / or the rearmost receiving element has the counter-support element.

[0008] As set out in claim 1, the invention is characterized in that the support element is suitable for supporting the foremost receiving element on a counter-support element of a preceding fastening element strip arranged in front of the fastening element strip in the transport direction, and the counter-support element is suitable for supporting the rearmost receiving element on a support element of a subsequent fastening element strip arranged behind the fastening element strip in the transport direction.

[0009] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the support element comprises a projection which projects from the frontmost receiving element in the transport direction and / or the counter-support element comprises a counter-support projection which projects from the rearmost receiving element against the transport direction.

[0010] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the receiving elements each comprise a sleeve in which one of the fastening elements is received.

[0011] An advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the fastener strip is suitable for being transported in a transport channel of a magazine of a driving device in a transport direction. The fasteners are preferably designed as nails, pins, bolts, screws, dowels, anchors, or the like.

[0012] The object is also achieved in a fastening device with a magazine, a first fastening element strip, and a second fastening element strip, wherein the magazine has a transport channel for transporting the first and second fastening element strips in a transport direction, wherein the first and second fastening element strips are designed according to one of the embodiments described above. Preferably, the support element of the fastening element strip following in the transport direction and the counter-support element of the fastening element strip leading in the transport direction engage with one another and support one another. Examples of implementation

[0013] Embodiments of a device for driving a fastener into a substrate are explained in more detail below using examples with reference to the drawings. They show: Fig. 1 two fastening element strips in a partial side view, Fig. 2 one fastening element strip in a partial side view and Fig. 3 two fastening element strips in a partial side view.

[0014] In Fig. 1a first fastening element strip 10 and a second fastening element strip 20 are shown in a partial side view. The first fastening element strip 10 comprises a plurality of first receiving elements 11 designed as sleeves and first fastening elements 12 received in the first receiving elements 11, which each define a fastening direction 30 that is the same for all first fastening elements 12. The first receiving elements 11 are arranged in two rows along a transport direction 40. The second fastening element strip 20 comprises a plurality of second receiving elements 21 designed as sleeves and second fastening elements 22 received in the second receiving elements 21, which are each oriented in the fastening direction 30. The second receiving elements 21 are arranged in two rows along the transport direction 40.In the transport direction 40, the first fastener strip 10 forms a subsequent fastener strip and the second fastener strip 20 forms a preceding fastener strip.

[0015] The fastening direction 30 and the transport direction 40 form an angle of 70° with each other. A rearmost receiving element 23 of the second fastening element strip 20 has a counter-support element 25, which supports the rearmost receiving element 23 against a frontmost receiving element 13 of the first fastening element strip 10 in the fastening direction 30. The counter-support element 25 is designed as a counter-support projection, which protrudes from the rearmost receiving element 23 against the transport direction 40 and bears from below against the frontmost receiving element 13 of the first fastening element strip 10. The first and second fastening element strips 10, 20 thus engage one another in a form-fitting manner with respect to the fastening direction 30.

[0016] In Fig. 2A fastener strip 110 is shown in a partial side view. The fastener strip 110 comprises a plurality of receiving elements 111 formed as sleeves and fastener elements 112 received in the receiving elements 111, each of which defines a fastening direction 130 that is the same for all fastener elements 112. The first receiving elements 111 are arranged in a row along a transport direction 140.

[0017] The fastening direction 130 and the transport direction 140 form an angle of 70° with each other. A rearmost receiving element 123 of the fastening element strip 110 in the transport direction 140 has a counter-support element 125, which supports the rearmost receiving element 123 in the fastening direction 130. For this purpose, the counter-support element 125 is designed as a counter-support projection, which protrudes from the rearmost receiving element 123 counter to the transport direction 140.

[0018] In Fig. 3 A fastener strip 210 is shown in a partial side view. The fastener strip 210 comprises a plurality of receiving elements 211 formed as sleeves and fastener elements 212 received in the receiving elements 211, each of which defines a fastening direction 230 that is the same for all fastener elements 212. The first receiving elements 211 are arranged in a row along a transport direction 240. The fastening direction 230 and the transport direction 240 form an angle of 70° with each other.

[0019] For simplified production, all receiving elements 211 have the same contour. Each receiving element 211 of the fastening element strip 210 has a support element 215 designed as a support projection and a counter-support element 225 designed as a counter-support projection, which protrude from the respective receiving element 211 in the transport direction 240 and against the transport direction 240, respectively. The support element of a frontmost receiving element of the fastening element strip 210 (not shown) supports the frontmost receiving element against the counter-support element of a rearmost receiving element (likewise not shown) of a fastening element strip running ahead in the transport direction 240, against the fastening direction. The counter-support element of a rearmost receiving element (not shown) of the fastening element strip 210 supports the rearmost receiving element on the support element of a frontmost receiving element (also not shown) of a fastening element strip following in the transport direction 240 in the fastening direction.

[0020] The invention has been described using a number of exemplary embodiments. The individual features of the various exemplary embodiments can be used individually or in any combination with one another, provided they do not contradict one another. It should be noted that the fastening element strip according to the invention can also be used for other applications.
