Description
[0001] The invention relates to a device for receiving lines, cables or current-conducting parts, comprising an elongated cable duct having a cable duct housing, which can be closed by means of a closure device that can be connected to the cable duct housing, the device having the following features: a) the upper part of the cable duct is designed as a cover and is placed over an opening in the cable duct housing and can be secured to the cable duct housing by means of the locking device; b) the cable duct housing consists of at least two interconnected layers; c) a first layer is an outer layer; d) a second layer is a layer located beneath the first layer; e) the first layer surrounds the second layer of the cable duct housing; f) one end of the first layer is secured against lifting and is placed between a surface of an abutment provided on the cover and an opposite surface of a hook; g) the first layer surrounds the second layer of the cable duct housing entirely or at least on some sides;h) the cable duct housing is designed as a square or polygonal housing, the wall parts of which form a continuously flat, smooth surface on all sides, the hook and the abutment being formed into the parts of the cable duct in such a way that they do not protrude on an outer surface of the wall parts of the cable duct housing, the first layer being designed as a decorative layer, the second layer being formed as a layer surrounding the cable duct of the cable duct housing and made of plastic or at least partially elastic plastic;
[0002] A cable duct is already known from EP 3 264 546 A1, which has a cover plate with a double-sided hinge so that the cable duct can be opened from one side, whereby the cover plate can be pivoted around its connection point on the cable duct either to the left or to the right.
[0003] Cable ducts are attached to walls or ceilings, for example, to accommodate wires or cables so that they are not visible from the outside. Cable ducts are often installed in rooms or hallways of an apartment, house, or industrial building, so that they are at least partially visible.
[0004] It is also known to cover pre-installed cable ducts with decorative film to create an attractive appearance. However, this often results in wrinkles or uneven edges when applying the decorative film, or gaps appear at the transition between the duct base element and the cover element, making it difficult to achieve an attractive appearance.
[0005] Furthermore, DE 200 21 565 U1 discloses a cable duct for accommodating cables or lines above plaster, which has a cross-sectionally substantially U-shaped duct base element and a cover element. The cover element is also substantially U-shaped with a base surface and two side surfaces. The two side surfaces and the base surface of the cover element completely cover the duct base element when installed, wherein the duct base element is fastened with its base surface, for example, to a wall. The side surfaces of the cover element have a height which is greater than the height of the side surfaces of the duct base element. The open area of the duct base element is covered by the base surface of the cover element, such that the cover element completely covers three sides of the duct base element. Thus, the duct base element is completely surrounded by the cover element when installed. This should make it possible to produce the cover element in specific desired colors, while the duct base element is always manufactured in the same color or colorless. This makes it possible, for example, for the duct base element, which is not visible when installed, to be made from recycled plastics.
[0006] Patent application GB 2 362 270 A shows a cable duct with a duct base element and a cover. The cover consists of a single layer and can be attached to the duct base element without the use of screws.
[0007] The invention is based on the object of designing the device for receiving lines, cables or current-conducting parts in a cost-effective manner by using two different layers, in particular to design the first layer in a different design and to dispense with earthing.
[0008] The object is achieved according to the invention in that the first layer is designed as a metal strip.
[0009] The cable duct housing is formed by two layers. The layers are wall components.
[0010] An additional possibility according to a further development of the invention is that the first layer is advantageously secured at its ends so that the ends of the first layer cannot detach from the second layer even under heavy load.
[0011] Plastic cable ducts are generally inexpensive, but are currently only available in a few colors. Higher-quality aluminum and stainless steel cable ducts offer more design options, but they are much more expensive than plastic cable ducts of the same size, and they don't require grounding.
[0012] By combining plastic as a carrier material and an externally attached metal band made of aluminum or stainless steel, the advantages of both products can be advantageously combined.
[0013] According to the invention, it is easily possible to provide metal strips on the surface of the cable duct, which can be visually designed in a variety of ways, or even serve as UV protection when the cable ducts are used outdoors. Stainless steel is particularly suitable for hygiene applications.
[0014] It is therefore advantageous that the cable duct housing is made of plastic to accommodate the cable and the exterior is made of metal. This material combination is not only cost-effective but, as already mentioned, versatile. The underside of the cable duct housing does not necessarily have to be coated with metal, as this surface will later be used for assembly. The base of the cable duct housing can be equipped with or without adhesive tape, depending on the user's wishes. Likewise, the cable duct housing can be provided with or without punched holes to allow later attachment using joining technology, such as screwing.
[0015] Furthermore, it is advantageous according to the invention that the second layer is formed from plastic or at least partially elastic plastic.
[0016] It is also according to the invention that a part of the cable duct is designed as a cover which can be secured to the opening of the cable duct housing by means of the locking device on the cable duct housing.
[0017] Of particular importance for the present invention is that the closure device consists of a partially elastic hook and an abutment which can be firmly connected to one another, wherein one part of the closure device can be fastened to the cover and the other part can be fastened to the cable duct housing or formed thereon.
[0018] It is also advantageous that the foot or the connection point of the hook on a wall part of the cable duct housing is designed to be elastic, as a hinge point or adjustable in such a way that when the cover on the cable duct housing is closed, part of the hook is bent back slightly by contact with an inclined guide surface and is guided along this until it is inserted into a recess behind the guide surface with the aid of its spring force and is pressed against the abutment and thus secures the cover on the cable duct housing.
[0019] Furthermore, it is advantageous that both locking devices are each provided in a corner area of the cable duct housing.
[0020] It is also according to the invention that the cable duct housing is designed as a square or polygonal housing, the wall parts of which form a continuously flat, smooth surface on all sides, wherein the hook and the abutment are formed into the parts of the cable duct housing in such a way that they do not protrude on the outer surface of the wall parts of the cable duct housing.
[0021] Further advantages and details of the invention are explained in the patent claims and in the description and shown in the figures.
[0022] Showing: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a cable duct; Fig. 2 a sectional view of the cable duct, according to Fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 a partial view of the closure device of the lid in section.
[0023] In Fig. 1 a device 1 for receiving lines, cables 2 or current-conducting parts in an elongated cable duct 3 having a cable duct housing 7 is shown, which can be closed by means of a closure device 4 which can be connected to the cable duct housing 7.
[0024] The cable duct housing 7 consists of at least two interconnected layers, with the first layer 5 surrounding the second layer 6 of the cable duct housing 7 at least on some sides or even completely. The lower side only needs to be provided with a second layer 6 in certain cases.
[0025] The first layer 5 can be designed as an advertising medium or decorative layer. Therefore, it is advantageous according to the invention for the first layer 5 to be designed as a metal strip.
[0026] The second layer 6, which surrounds the cable duct 3 of the cable duct housing 7, is made of plastic or at least partially elastic plastic and serves to accommodate cables or other elongated parts. The second layer 6 can also serve as an insulating layer.
[0027] One part, in particular the upper part of the cable duct 3 7, is designed as a cover 9 which can be placed on the opening of the cable duct housing 7 and can be secured to the cable duct housing 7 by means of one or two locking devices 4 when, as previously mentioned, the cables have been laid in the cable duct housing 7.
[0028] The closure device 4 consists of a partially elastic hook 10 and an abutment 11, which can be firmly connected to each other. The hook is Fig. 3formed onto an upright wall portion 13 and angled inward, or into the interior of the housing. The inclined portion of the hook forms a guide surface 15 against which the opposite side of a portion of the abutment 11 can rest when the cover 9 is placed on the cable duct housing 7.
[0029] The foot or the connection point of the hook 10 is elastically connected to the wall part 13 of the cable duct housing 7, or is designed as an articulation point so that it can be adjusted in such a way that when the cover 9 on the cable duct housing 7 is closed, a part of the hook 10 is bent back slightly by contact with an inclined guide surface 15 and is guided along this until it is inserted behind the guide surface 15 with the aid of its spring force into a recess 14 and pressed against the abutment, thus securing the cover 9 on the cable duct housing 7.
[0030] Both locking devices 4 are each provided in a corner area 12 of the cable duct housing 7.
[0031] The cable duct housing 7 can be a round, oval, square, or polygonal housing, the wall parts 13 of which form a continuously flat, smooth surface 16 on all sides. The hook 10 and the abutment 11 are molded into the parts of the cable duct housing 7 in such a way that they do not protrude from the outer surface 16 of the wall parts 13 of the cable duct housing 7. This makes it easy to use all outer surfaces as decorative surfaces.
[0032] In order to secure one end 17 of the first layer 5 against lifting, the lower free end of the first layer 5 can be placed between the guide surface 15 of the abutment 11 and the opposite surface of the hook 10. List of reference symbols
