Description
Technical area
[0001] The invention relates to a device for presenting goods according to the preamble of independent claim 1 and to an adapter for such a device. State of the art
[0002] To present goods, for example, in retail stores or at trade fairs, equipment often uses profile rails and brackets that can be attached to them at various locations. The brackets can be connected to a hanging or support structure, such as a shelf, to arrange the goods. When using such equipment, the brackets are mounted on one or more profile rails at suitable locations, and the goods to be presented are displayed.
[0003] For modern product presentations, current collectors are increasingly being used, so that such equipment is increasingly being designed or offered with electricity. For example, it is often desirable to directly illuminate the goods, which typically requires lights located near the goods. Electronic displays or touchscreens are also increasingly being used to make product presentations flexible and interactive.
[0004] A suspension device of this type, known from DE 20 2011 110 536 U1, comprises a profile rail and a bracket equipped with an adapter. The profile rail is designed as a horizontal rail with an upper wall, a lower wall, a rear wall, and an open front. It is mounted horizontally to a vertical wall or panel structure. A current profile is inserted into the upper wall of the horizontal rail, which has two parallel current paths running along the horizontal rail.
[0005] The bracket can be installed, for example, in a shelf or suspension rod. It comprises a plug-in tongue that is inserted at any horizontal point into the interior of the horizontal rail and hooked into it for fastening. The plug-in tongue is equipped with an adapter with two spring-loaded contact wires. When the bracket is inserted, the contact wires are pressed into the adapter and, once inside the horizontal rail, are pushed outward again onto the current paths. This allows the adapter to tap into the current at the current rail inside the horizontal rail and conduct it outward to the shelf or suspension rod.
[0006] Another electrically powered device for product presentation, featuring a profile rail and a mountable console, is described in DE 20 2012 008 355 U1. The profile rail is designed as a vertical rail with two lateral flank struts, a back strut, and a front cover profile, which together form an interior. A slot is formed between the cover profile and the flank struts, through which the interior is accessible from the outside. A power profile with two parallel power paths is arranged along the vertical rail. The back strut is equipped with two rows of equidistant holes.
[0007] The console comprises a support section designed, for example, to hold a shelf, a gripping section and an adapter. The gripping section is shaped to pass through one of the slots in the vertical profile and has a hooking lug that can be hooked into one of the holes. The adapter extends into the gripping section and comprises two spring-loaded contact wires. For assembly, the console is inserted into the interior of the vertical rail with its gripping section first and suspended from the back strut at a suitable height using the hooking lug. The contact wires are pressed into the adapter and then pushed outwards onto the current paths inside the vertical rail. This allows the adapter to tap into current on the current rail inside the vertical rail and conduct it outwards to the console.
[0008] A similar electrically powered device for product presentation with a vertical rail is shown in EP 2 886 021 B1. Compared to the previously described variant, this device features perforations in a front wall of the vertical profile. Otherwise, a bracket with a similar adapter with spring wires is provided.
[0009] Furthermore, DE 20 2008 003360 U1 discloses a hanging device for product presentation, comprising a profile rail with a current profile, a primary support that can be hooked into the profile rail, and an adapter. The adapter has a housing in which current collectors are housed, which can be extended from the housing when activated. The adapter is pushed between two flanks of the profile rail, with the current collectors lying within the housing. When pushed in, the adapter abuts a rear wall of the profile rail, triggering an operating mechanism with an actuator and a spring that advances the current collectors toward the current profile.
[0010] EP 0007071 A1 discloses a fastening device comprising a vertical support rail with slots and support elements that can be inserted into the slots. The support rail comprises electrical conductor rails that interact with contact tabs that can be inserted through the slots. The contact tabs are spring-loaded, and a contact slider is provided that slides over the contact tabs. The contact slider can be moved to release the contact tabs.
[0011] One problem with the known product display devices is that the adapter's spring wires must be pushed back when inserted into the profile rail. This can cause the spring wires to become bent, worn, or otherwise damaged, making reliable current tapping inside the profile rails impossible, especially over extended periods. Document DE 10 2015 112 035 A1 proposes a solution to this problem.
[0012] The present invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a device for product presentation or certain components thereof which enable reliable and robust tapping of current inside a profile rail over a relatively long period of time. Description of the invention
[0013] The object is achieved according to the invention by a device as defined in independent claim 1 and by an adapter as defined in independent claim 8. Advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the dependent claims.
[0014] The essence of the invention is as follows: A device for presenting goods with a vertical profile rail, which has a suspension structure, an insertion opening, an interior space and a current conductor arranged in the interior space, and a console, which has a support section, an engagement section and an adapter with a tapping section and a spring contact, wherein the tapping section has a cavity and an opening, wherein the spring contact has a spring wire comprising a quasi-U-shaped fixing section, which merges into a straight longitudinal section extending through the cavity and an adjoining curved contact section, wherein the engagement section of the console and the suspension structure of the profile rail are designed to be in an operative connection in which the console is attached to the profile rail, projecting through the insertion opening,so that the tapping section of the adapter of the console lies at least partially in the interior of the profile rail and the spring contact of the adapter of the console rests on the current conductor of the profile rail, wherein the adapter of the console comprises a base from which the tapping section extends, and an adjusting mechanism and a spring element, wherein with the adjusting mechanism the tapping section can be adjusted into a protective position in which the tapping section is moved away from the base and into a contact position different from the protective position in which the tapping section is moved towards the base, wherein in the protective position the spring contact is pretensioned towards the tapping section in such a way that the tapping section of the adapter can pass through the insertion opening of the profile notes without the spring contact making significant contact with the profile rail,by pushing the bent contact section of the spring wire upwards through an edge of the opening of the tapping section so that an approximately right angle is formed between the longitudinal section and the fixing section, and the spring element presses the tapping section into the protective position and, in the contact position, the spring contact is moved towards the tapping section in such a way that the spring contact rests resiliently on the current conductor when the bracket is attached to the profile rail.
[0015] The term "operative connection" in connection with the engagement section and the suspension structure can refer to the fact that these two parts interact in such a way that the bracket is attached or held to the profile rail.
[0016] In the context of the invention, the term "significantly contacted" can refer to the fact that there is insufficient contact between the spring contact and the profile rail to damage or impair the spring contact. Slight contact between the spring contact and the profile rail may nevertheless occur, as long as this contact is not sufficient to cause the spring contact to be stressed or damaged by the profile rail, even over extended use.
[0017] The design of the adjustment mechanism in the adapter makes it possible for the console or its adapter to be mounted on the profile rail without the spring contact(s) touching the profile rail during insertion. This prevents harmful contact between the profile rail and the spring contact, ensuring that it is not impaired during installation of the console. Once the console is mounted on the profile rail, the spring contact is returned to a position where it rests securely on the current conductor, ensuring reliable current tapping. In particular, the adjustment device prevents the spring contact from being moved or pressed in in any way by the profile rail during installation of the console. In this way, the spring contact can be protected and the adapter can enable reliable and robust tapping of current inside the profile rail over a relatively long period of time.
[0018] According to the invention, the profile rail is a vertical rail intended, for example, for attachment to a wall or for freestanding erection. Such vertical rails can have side walls and a rear wall, with the interior space located between the side walls and the rear wall and defined by them. As a suspension structure, vertical rails can be equipped with one or more series of locking elements that can interact with the support section of the console for its attachment.
[0019] Preferably, the suspension structure of the profile rail comprises a series of perforations that are arranged at least partially spaced apart along the profile rail. In the context of the invention, the term "along the profile rail" can refer to an alignment or orientation in the axial direction of the profile rail. Profile rails typically have a longitudinal axis that runs essentially horizontally or essentially vertically, depending on the embodiment of the profile rail. The perforations can be designed, for example, as equidistant slots.
[0020] In a vertical rail design with, for example, parallel side walls and a rear wall connecting the side walls, the row of perforations can be formed in the rear wall. The vertical rail can be designed without a front wall, so that the interior is completely open to the front. However, it is advantageous to have a front wall opposite the rear wall, which is equipped, for example, with a slot running along the vertical rail as an insertion opening. Such a slot can protect the interior and components arranged therein, such as the power conductor(s). It can also be advantageous for aesthetic reasons.
[0021] The profile rail preferably comprises two, in particular, quasi-parallel side walls, a rear wall connecting the side walls, and a front wall connecting the side walls, opposite the rear wall and equipped with a row of perforations. Such a profile rail can have a quasi-rectangular cross-section. Accordingly, the profile rail can be a rectangular or square tube. Such profile rails can be manufactured relatively easily in a robust and load-bearing design.
[0022] The profile rail preferably has two parallel rows of holes. In such an embodiment, the profile rail can be particularly suitable for supporting shelves. A shelf can be equipped with two brackets. The two brackets can then be inserted into the holes of two adjacent profile rails, so that the shelf is attached to the two parallel profile rails.
[0023] The profile rail can also comprise several, and in particular at least one pair of, current conductors. The current conductor(s) can be arranged as conductive paths on an insulating base in the profile rail.
[0024] The profile rail preferably comprises a conductor rail carrying the power conductor, which is arranged in the interior and at least partially along the profile rail. Such a conductor rail can enable simple and safe equipping of the profile rails with power conductors or tracks. It can also be made of an electrically insulating material or include an insulating base, thus insulating the power conductor(s). Such a conductor rail can also be efficiently replaced or adapted to a specific adapter of the console.
[0025] The bracket or its support section can be designed to directly support goods, for example, as a clothes rack or clothes hanger. Alternatively, the bracket can be designed as a connector between a part on which goods can be arranged and the profile rail. For example, the bracket can be designed to support a shelf, with its support section supporting the shelf and its engagement section being attached to the profile rail.
[0026] The engaging portion of the bracket can be designed in any way for releasably securing or mounting it to the profile rail. For example, it can include a counter-locking device if the profile rail is equipped with a locking structure.
[0027] The engaging portion of the bracket preferably has a substantially hook-shaped nose. The hook-shaped nose can, for example, be shaped so that it fits into one of the holes in the profile rail and can be hooked onto it. The engaging portion can further comprise a stabilizing element, which can, for example, be inserted into another of the holes, so that the bracket can be securely suspended from the profile rail via two different holes.
[0028] The adapter of the console preferably extends from the support section to the engagement section. In this way, the adapter can connect the engagement section and the support section to one another in such a way that current tapped on the current conductor by means of the spring contact can be conducted to the support section. This allows current to be conducted from the interior of the profile rail to the outside of the console, where potential power consumers are located. The tapping section of the adapter of the console is preferably arranged at least partially on the engagement section of the console. In this way, the tapping section of the adapter can be arranged directly, at least partially and in particular at least with its section having the spring contact, in the interior of the profile rail and in particular next to the current conductor. The spring contact of the adapter of the console is preferably arranged at least partially on the tapping section of the adapter, so that it is located at least partially on the engagement section of the console.
[0029] According to the invention, the adapter comprises a base from which the tapping section extends. The base of the adapter comprises a housing in or on which various components of the adapter can be arranged. For example, a connection can be located in the housing, via which a cable is coupled to the spring contact. Or, a plug can be attached to the housing, to which power consumers can be connected, in particular power consumers carried by the console, such as lights, displays, or the like.
[0030] The tapping section is preferably movable between the protective position and the contact position with the base. Such movement of the tapping section can efficiently enable automatic actuation of the adjustment mechanism from the protective position to the contact position during attachment of the bracket to the profile rail.
[0031] The tapping section has an opening, with the spring contact protruding outward through the opening in the contact position. According to the invention, the tapping section of the console adapter comprises a cavity in which the spring contact is arranged. In the contact position, the tapping section moves toward the base and in the protective position, it moves away from the base. Such a design enables efficient and secure implementation of the actuating mechanism.
[0032] According to the invention, the adapter comprises a spring element that presses the tapping section into the protective position. The spring element can be any resilient means that enables the tapping section to be pressed as intended. For example, it can be an integral part of the housing or a separate spring. Such a spring element can ensure that the adapter is always in the protective position when the tapping section is not actively moved. This enables safe handling of the adapter.
[0033] Preferably, the profile rail comprises a stop, wherein the tapping section of the adapter rests against the stop when the bracket is attached to the profile rail, so that the tapping section is pushed into the contact position by the stop. In particular, the tapping section can thus be moved into the contact position when the bracket is inserted into the profile rail. The tapping section can be moved or pushed against the spring force of the spring element.
[0034] The profile rail stop is preferably an inner surface of the rear panel or a wall of the busbar. Such a stop enables efficient implementation and triggering or activation of the actuating mechanism.
[0035] According to the invention, the spring contact of the console adapter comprises a spring wire comprising a bent contact section. Such a spring wire can enable a simple and efficient implementation of a suitable spring contact. In the contact position, the bent contact section of the spring wire preferably protrudes outward through the opening of the tapping section.
[0036] A further aspect of the invention relates to an adapter for a bracket equipped with a support section and an engagement section, which is provided for fastening to a vertical profile rail equipped with a suspension structure, an insertion opening, an interior space and a current conductor arranged in the interior space, wherein the support section of the bracket and the suspension structure of the profile rail are designed to be in an operative connection in which the bracket is fastened to the profile rail protruding through the insertion opening, comprising a tapping section and a spring contact which has a spring wire which comprises a bent contact section, wherein a base which comprises a housing and which is arranged on the support section and from which the tapping section extends, an adjusting mechanism with a spring element, with which the tapping section can be adjusted to a protective position and to a contact position different from the protective position relative to the base, wherein the tapping section has a cavity and an opening and, when the adapter is mounted on the bracket, the spring element presses the tapping section out of the housing into the protective position in such a way that the bent contact section of the spring wire is moved into the cavity and is pretensioned towards the tapping section in such a way that the tapping section of the adapter can pass through the insertion opening of the profile rails without the spring contact making significant contact with the profile rail, and in the contact position, the spring contact is moved towards the tapping section in such a way that the spring contact protrudes outwards from the tapping section through the opening so that it rests resiliently against the current conductor when the bracket is attached to the profile rail.
[0037] With such an adapter according to the invention and its preferred embodiments below, the effects and advantages of the device according to the invention and its preferred embodiments can be efficiently realized.
[0038] The adapter according to the invention comprises a base from which the tapping section extends. The tapping section is movable between the protective position and the contact position relative to the base. According to the invention, the tapping section has an opening, wherein the spring contact protrudes outward through the opening in the contact position. The tapping section preferably has a cavity in which the spring contact is arranged. In the contact position, the tapping section moves toward the base and in the protective position, it moves away from the base.
[0039] According to the invention, the adapter according to the invention comprises a spring element that presses the tapping section into the protective position. According to the invention, the spring contact has a spring wire that includes a bent contact section. In the contact position, the bent contact section of the spring wire preferably protrudes outward through the opening of the tapping section. Short description of the drawings

[0043] Fig. 1shows a section of an embodiment of a device 1 according to the invention for presenting goods. The device 1 comprises a vertically erected metal square tube 2 as a profile rail and a metal console 3 equipped with an adapter 4 according to the invention. The square tube 2 comprises two parallel side walls 21, which are connected to one another at a front side facing the console 3 via a front wall 23. Vertically along the square tube 2, two rows of equidistant slots 231 are introduced as perforations in the front wall 23. The slots 231 serve as a suspension structure and insertion opening for the square tube 2.
[0044] The console 3 comprises a support section 32 and an engaging section 31. The adapter 4 has a housing 41 as a base and a tapping section 42. The adapter 4 is mounted on the console 3 such that the housing 41 is arranged on the support section 32 and the tapping section 42 extends from the housing 41 through the engaging section 31. On its rear side, or the side facing away from the tapping section 42, the housing 41 is equipped with a socket 411 for connecting a power consumer, such as a light.
[0045] The engagement section 31 has a hook-shaped nose 311, which is shaped to correspond to the slots 231. The gripping section 42 of the bracket 4 projects beyond the nose 311 of the engagement section 31 of the bracket 3, and is provided with two slot-shaped openings 421 approximately below the nose 311. The distance between the nose 311 and the gripping section 42 is dimensioned such that they fit two vertically adjacent slots 231.
[0046] In Fig. 2 The bracket 3 is shown without the adapter 4 from one side. The engagement section 31 is shown on the right and the support section 32 on the left. The bracket 3 includes a continuous adapter recess 33, which has a slightly expanded area on the left side for receiving the housing 41. The adapter recess 33 is open to the right, allowing the tapping section 42 to extend beyond the adapter recess 33 to the right.
[0047] Fig. 3shows a part of the console 3 in more detail, with the adapter 4 being shown in a protective position. Through the openings 421 of the tapping section 42 of the adapter 4, a bent contact section 451 of a spring wire 45 is visible as a spring contact of the adapter 4. In the Fig. 3 In the protective position shown, the bent contact sections 451 lie almost completely in the tapping section 42 and are protected by it.
[0048] In Fig. 4 is the same part of the console 3 as in Fig. 3 shown, but in a contact position of the adapter 4. As indicated by the arrow in Fig. 4 As indicated, the tapping section 42 of the console 4 is moved toward the housing 41 and further inserted into it. As described in more detail below, the bent contact sections 451 are thereby moved so that they protrude outward from the openings 421 of the tapping section 42.
[0049] Fig. 5shows a cross-section of the adapter 4 in its protective position. It can be seen that the tapping section 42 has a cavity 422 which extends from the openings 421 to the housing 41 and is open towards the housing 41. The housing 41 comprises a housing base 412 and a housing cover 413 pushed onto the housing base 412. Inside the housing 41, two connectors 44 are fixedly mounted on the housing base 412. On their left side, the connectors 44 are each fixed to one of the spring wires 45 by means of a clamping screw. On their right side, the connectors 44 are each connected to a cable 46 which extends to the right to the socket 411. In this way, the socket 411 is electrically connected to the bent contact sections 451 of the spring wires 45 via the cables 46 and the connectors 44.
[0050] The spring wires 45 each comprise a quasi-U-shaped fixing section 453 on the right, which merges into a straight longitudinal section 452 extending through the cavity 422 of the tapping section 42 and the curved contact section 451 adjoining it on the left. The housing base 412 has a vertical holding section 4121 against which the left leg of the fixing section 453 rests. As a result, the entire fixing section 453 is fixed firmly and non-deformably, or monolithically, in the housing 41.
[0051] To mount the adapter 4, the housing cover 413 of the adapter 4 is removed, the housing base 412 together with the tapping section 42 is placed in the recess 33 and the housing cover 413 is pushed back onto the housing base 412.
[0052] In Fig. 6 The adapter 4 is also shown in cross section but in its contact position. The tapping section 42 is shown as indicated by the arrow in Fig. 6pressed to the right into the housing 41, so that the openings 421 are each adjacent to one of the bent contact sections 451. The spring wires 45 thus elastically return to their original shape, in which an angle between the fixing section 453 and the longitudinal section 452 deviates from a right angle. As a result, the bent contact sections 451 are moved downward until they protrude outward through the openings 421. In the Fig. 5 In the protective position shown, the spring wires 45 are thus pre-tensioned by the bent contact sections 451 being pushed upwards through an edge of the openings 421, so that an approximately right angle is formed between the longitudinal section 452 and the fixing section 453.
[0053] Fig. 7shows a perspective view of some components of the adapter 4. It can be seen that the tapping section 42 has a tongue 427 on the right, which at its left end merges into two lateral limiting bars 423. The limiting bars 423 are positioned next to the connectors 44 and run along them. On the rear side, the limiting bars 423 are each provided with a recess 424 open to the left.
[0054] The adapter 4 further comprises two coil springs 43 as spring elements. Each of the coil springs 43 is positioned in one of the two recesses 424, so that the effective direction of the coil springs 43 lies along the tapping section 42 or in the direction of its tongue 427.
[0055] The tongue 427 of the tapping section 42 is provided with upper lateral front wings 425 and lower lateral rear wings 426. As shown in the Fig. 3 and 4As can be seen, the front and rear wings 425, 426 are designed to rest laterally on the engagement section 31 and the support section 32, respectively, so that the gripping section 42 is held and guided laterally.
[0056] The adapter 4 thus has an adjustment mechanism that includes the housing 41, the tapping section 42, and the coil springs 43. The adjustment mechanism allows the adapter 4 to be adjusted between the protective and contact positions.
[0057] In Fig. 8 The adapter 4 is shown in its contact position again in section, with the cutting plane in comparison to the Fig. 6 is offset parallel so that one of the limit bars 423 is cut. As indicated by the left arrow in Fig. 8As indicated, the tapping section 42 is pressed to the right against the spring force of the spiral springs 43. The bent contact sections 451 protrude downwards through the openings 421 out of the tapping section 42. As indicated by the right double arrow in Fig. 8 As indicated, the limiting bars 423 of the tapping section 42 limit the range of movement of the tapping section 42 relative to the housing 41. In particular, a right stop surface of the limiting bars 423 contacts a movement of the tapping section 42 against the spring force into the housing 41 and a left stop surface of the limiting bars 423 contacts a movement of the tapping section 42 in the direction of the spring force out of the housing 41. The spiral springs 43 press the tapping section 42 to the left out of the housing 41, so that without active actuation of the tapping section 42, the adapter 4 is always in the protective position by means of the spiral springs 43. In order for the adapter 4 to be in the Fig. 8In order to adjust the contact position shown, a force must be applied against the spring force of the spiral springs 43 and thereby the tapping section 42 must be pressed into the housing.
[0058] In the Fig. 9 to 11the device 1 is shown in use, i.e. while the bracket 3 is being fastened to the square tube 2. It can be seen that the square tube 2 is equipped with a current profile 24 made of aluminum, which runs along the square tube 2 in its interior. With the help of the current profile 24, two bracket receptacles are formed in the interior of the square tube 2, which are accessible from the outside via the slots 231 in the front wall 23. The two bracket receptacles are limited towards the center of the interior of the square tube 2 by a cross strut of the current profile, which thereby forms a stop 243 for the tapping section 42 of the adapter 4. In the left-hand bracket receptacle, the current profile 24 is provided with two current paths 242 running on an insulating base 241 as current conductors. In particular, the insulation base 241 extends along the busbar 24 such that the current paths 242 are arranged parallel to each other along the square tube 2 and are accessible from the left console receptacle of the interior.
[0059] As in Fig. 9 As can be seen, the adapter 4 of the bracket 3 is in its protective position before being attached to the square tube 2. In particular, the tapping section 42 is pushed upwards to the maximum extent out of the housing 41 by the spiral springs 43, so that the bent contact sections 451 of the spring wires 45 are moved to the right into the cavity 422.
[0060] As in Fig. 10As can be seen, in the protective position of the adapter 4, the engaging portion 31 of the bracket 3 can be inserted through two adjacent slots 231 in the front wall 23 of the square tube 2 without the bent contact portions 451 or any other area of the spring wires 45 coming into contact with the edge of the associated slot 231.
[0061] In Fig. 11In the state shown, in which the console 3 is attached to the square tube, an upper end of the tapping section 42 of the adapter 4 rests against the stop 243 of the current profile 24. As a result, the tapping section 42 is pressed into the housing 41, the bent contact sections 451 protrude to the left from the openings 421 and rest against the current paths 242. The spring wires 45 are thus connected to the current paths 242, and current is transmitted from the current paths 242 to the socket 411 of the housing 41. Thus, with the console 3 inserted, power consumers can be connected to and supplied from the socket 411.
