Description

[0001] The present invention relates to an extinguishing agent container, a method for transporting and filling such a container, and a method for dispensing an extinguishing agent. Furthermore, the present invention encompasses an extinguishing system comprising at least one such extinguishing agent container.

[0002] In the field of fire protection, extinguishing agent containers are commonly used, for example in small extinguishing systems such as cabinet protection extinguishing systems and the like.

[0003] For this purpose, the extinguishing agent containers must be filled with extinguishing agent and, if necessary, transported to the site of use, i.e. the place where the extinguishing agent is to be applied or where the extinguishing system is installed.

[0004] Transport usually has a number of disadvantages: For example, conventional extinguishing agent containers are pressurised to high pressure or have a pyrotechnic element with which the extinguishing agent is released.

[0005] This can lead to transport problems, for example, since not every shipping company can or is permitted to transport pressurised containers or containers containing pyrotechnic elements.

[0006] In addition, known extinguishing agent containers usually do not empty completely during use. This means, in particular, that known extinguishing agent containers are not designed to be completely emptied during proper use. This is usually due to design reasons.

[0007] In the German application establishing priority, the following documents were cited in the search report: WO 2007 / 077195 A1, DE 7 004 038 U and DE 20 2009 017 884 U1. Furthermore, WO 03 / 068320 A1 discloses an extinguishing agent container having an interior space that can be charged with extinguishing agent, wherein the extinguishing agent container has a separating agent in the interior space that is arranged in a charged state near an end of the interior space that is opposite an end at which extinguishing agent is ejected.

[0008] The object of the present invention is therefore to address at least one of the above-mentioned problems, to improve the general state of the art, or to provide an alternative to what is previously known. In particular, an extinguishing agent container is to be provided that enables easy transport of extinguishing agents and / or enables better, in particular complete, emptying of the extinguishing agent container. According to the invention, an extinguishing agent container according to claim 1 is thus proposed.

[0009] The extinguishing agent container essentially consists of a pressure vessel and a piston plate arranged in the pressure vessel.

[0010] The pressure vessel comprises a vessel lid, a vessel bottom and a vessel wall.

[0011] In addition, the pressure vessel is designed to have a container cavity.

[0012] The container cavity is therefore lined by a container lid, a container bottom and a container wall.

[0013] For this purpose, the pressure vessel is preferably designed to be substantially cylindrical and is also designed to receive and hold a wide variety of fluids, in particular extinguishing agents and / or pressure media, in the vessel cavity.

[0014] The pressure vessel is therefore preferably designed to be fluid-tight.

[0015] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the container lid, the container bottom and the container wall are made of a material, preferably metal, which meets the mechanical requirements.

[0016] In a further preferred embodiment, the pressure vessel is further configured to accommodate and in particular hold both an extinguishing agent and a pressure agent.

[0017] Preferably, at least the inner sides of the container lid, the container bottom and the container wall are resistant to pressure and / or extinguishing agents.

[0018] Furthermore, according to the invention, a piston plate is arranged in the container cavity, in particular substantially perpendicular to the container wall, i.e. substantially horizontally in the pressure vessel if it is preferably arranged upright.

[0019] As a result, the piston plate divides the container cavity into two spaces, in particular an upper extinguishing agent space and a lower pressure agent space.

[0020] The piston plate is thus preferably designed to divide the container cavity into two separate spaces, each of which is designed to receive a fluid.

[0021] The extinguishing agent compartment is also designed to hold an extinguishing agent, for example HFC-227ea, FK-5-1-12, or water H 2 O.

[0022] The extinguishing agent chamber is therefore preferably designed to be fluid-tight and, in addition or alternatively, the container wall is essentially resistant to such extinguishing agents.

[0023] The pressure medium chamber is also designed to hold a pressure medium, e.g. compressed gases.

[0024] The preferred pressure medium used is so-called extinguishing gases, i.e. gases that have a fire-fighting effect, such as nitrogen (N 2 ), argon (Ar), carbon dioxide (CO 2 ).

[0025] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the pressure medium has at least one fire-fighting property and additionally or alternatively no oxygen.

[0026] The extinguishing agent container according to the invention thus makes it possible to initially fill the extinguishing agent container with only one extinguishing agent, for example, through a valve that is fluidly connected to the extinguishing agent chamber, and then transport this essentially pressureless, i.e., under atmospheric pressure. Additionally or alternatively, the design according to the invention preferably dispenses with pyrotechnic elements. In this respect, the extinguishing agent container according to the invention greatly facilitates the transport of extinguishing agents or extinguishing agent containers.

[0027] To further enable the extinguishing agent chamber to be emptied as completely as possible, the container wall has at least one wall groove on an inner side, beginning at the container lid, which groove is configured to guide at least one fluid, in particular a pressure medium, preferably a pressure medium and an extinguishing agent. Furthermore, the piston plate has at least one piston plate groove on an upper side facing the extinguishing agent chamber, which is configured to guide a fluid, in particular at least one pressure medium, preferably a pressure medium and an extinguishing agent.

[0028] The functioning of the extinguishing agent container according to the invention is explained in detail below with the aid of the accompanying figures and is therefore only briefly summarized below by way of example: If the extinguishing agent chamber is provided with an extinguishing agent and the pressure medium chamber is provided with a pressure medium, the piston plate moves through the container cavity when the extinguishing agent chamber is opened, namely, due to the greater pressure of the pressure medium, reducing the extinguishing agent chamber and enlarging the pressure medium chamber, and here pushes the extinguishing agent out of the extinguishing agent chamber. The extinguishing agent chamber is opened, for example, by means of a fluid outlet channel arranged in the container lid, which can preferably be opened by a valve such that the extinguishing agent flows out of the extinguishing agent chamber through the fluid outlet channel.

[0029] Preferably, the extinguishing agent container, preferably the container lid, has a fluid outlet channel for discharging the extinguishing agent.

[0030] If the piston plate now moves past the wall groove, the pressure medium flows around the piston plate, from the pressure medium chamber into the extinguishing agent chamber, and thus pushes the extinguishing agent further out of the container.

[0031] When the piston plate now touches the container lid, the extinguishing agent chamber essentially consists only of the piston plate groove and the chamfer. Since this, together with the wall groove, forms a fluid-conducting channel, the pressure medium forces even the last remaining extinguishing agent out of the container, thus completely emptying the container of extinguishing agent.

[0032] Preferably, the extinguishing agent container further comprises a pressure medium valve which is designed to fill the pressure medium chamber with a pressure medium.

[0033] The pressure medium valve is preferably arranged in the bottom of the container.

[0034] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the pressure medium valve is designed to be pressurized with at least 20 bar, preferably with at least 50 bar.

[0035] In a further preferred embodiment, the pressure medium valve is designed as a 1-way valve, namely in particular to pressurize the pressure medium chamber with pressure medium.

[0036] Preferably, the extinguishing agent container further comprises a venting and / or testing connection which is designed to vent the pressure medium chamber and also or alternatively to check the pressure medium chamber, and in particular the pressure medium in the pressure medium chamber.

[0037] Preferably, the venting and / or test connection is arranged in the container bottom.

[0038] Preferably, the extinguishing agent container further comprises an extinguishing agent valve which is designed to hold an extinguishing agent under a transport pressure in the extinguishing agent chamber and to guide it out of the extinguishing agent chamber under an operating pressure.

[0039] The extinguishing agent valve is preferably arranged in or on the container lid.

[0040] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the extinguishing agent valve is configured to hold an extinguishing agent in the extinguishing agent chamber at a transport pressure and to discharge it from the extinguishing agent chamber at an operating pressure. The extinguishing agent valve is preferably arranged in or on the container lid. The extinguishing agent valve is particularly preferably arranged on the container lid.

[0041] Transport pressure is essentially understood to mean atmospheric pressure, i.e. approximately 1 bar.

[0042] The operating pressure is also many times higher and depends on the degree to which the pressure medium in the pressure medium chamber has been pressurized, for example with 20 or 50 bar. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the extinguishing agent valve is designed as a 2-way valve, namely in particular in order to fill the extinguishing agent chamber with extinguishing agent by means of the extinguishing agent valve and to release the extinguishing agent from the extinguishing agent chamber.

[0043] In a further preferred embodiment, the extinguishing agent valve is a fully discharge valve.

[0044] Preferably, the container wall has at least two wall grooves on the inside in the area of the extinguishing agent chamber.

[0045] It is therefore proposed that the container wall has more than one wall groove, for example two, three, four or more.

[0046] Preferably, the at least two wall grooves are arranged symmetrically, for example, in the case of two wall grooves, opposite one another, or in the case of three wall grooves, distributed symmetrically within the container wall, for example offset by 120°.

[0047] In a further preferred embodiment, the wall grooves are arranged mirror-symmetrically to one another. For example, in the case of two wall grooves, they are offset by 180°, or in the case of four wall grooves, they are offset by 90°.

[0048] Preferably, the container wall has four wall grooves on the inside in the area of the extinguishing agent chamber.

[0049] Preferably, the four wall grooves are arranged symmetrically.

[0050] Particularly preferably, the four wall grooves are arranged offset by 90°.

[0051] Preferably, the piston plate has at least two piston plate grooves on the upper side facing the extinguishing agent chamber.

[0052] Preferably, the piston plate grooves run completely through the top of the piston plate.

[0053] Particularly preferably, the piston plate grooves intersect, preferably at a center point of the piston plate, in particular perpendicular to one another, i.e. at an angle of 90°.

[0054] The piston plate preferably has a base body and a superstructure body and preferably a plurality of piston plate grooves running through the base body.

[0055] The base body and the superstructure body can, for example, be formed from one component or from several components.

[0056] Preferably, the base body and the superstructure body are a common component.

[0057] Furthermore, the piston plate grooves are arranged in the body and preferably extend completely through it. Particularly preferably, the piston plate grooves are arranged in the body.

[0058] In addition, the superstructure body is tapered, meaning it essentially has the shape of a truncated cone. As a result, the lateral surface of the base body and the lateral surface of the superstructure body are at an angle to each other that is preferably less than 90°.

[0059] This creates a chamfer between the container wall and the piston plate, which extends around the body. The chamfer itself preferably has a chamfer angle greater than 0° and less than 90°, e.g., 30°, 45°, or 60°. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the chamfer angle is between 30° and 70°, particularly preferably approximately 45°.

[0060] The chamfer thus preferably forms a circumferential, fluid-conducting channel, in particular one that conducts the pressure medium, which can be fluidly connected to the grooves in the wall, i.e., the wall grooves, and the piston plate grooves. In this respect, this fluid-conducting channel formed by the chamfer can connect the wall grooves to the piston plate grooves, in particular to form a common fluid-conducting channel.

[0061] Preferably, the piston plate has at least one circumferential seal.

[0062] A seal is thus arranged around the piston plate, which is preferably arranged on the base body.

[0063] The seal is particularly designed to fluid-tightly separate the extinguishing agent chamber from the pressure medium chamber. The seal is preferably inserted in a circumferential groove on the piston plate. This circumferential groove is preferably not the bevel. The seal is thus preferably arranged below the bevel and on or at least partially in the piston plate, in particular in a groove.

[0064] The seal is preferably arranged on the base body of the piston plate.

[0065] In a particularly preferred embodiment, at least two seals are provided that completely surround the base body. The seals are particularly preferably spaced apart from one another.

[0066] Preferably, the wall grooves each have a groove length that is greater than a maximum height of the piston plate.

[0067] The maximum height of the piston plate is determined in particular by the height of the base body plus the height of the superstructure body.

[0068] In a preferred embodiment, the wall grooves are also all of the same length and / or the piston plate is symmetrical.

[0069] Preferably, the grooves, in particular the piston plate grooves and the wall grooves, are arranged in such a way that, when the piston plate is displaced, a fluid-conducting channel is formed which is designed to at least partially flow around the piston plate with a fluid, in particular the pressure medium.

[0070] It is therefore proposed, in particular, that the piston plate grooves, the chamfer, and the wall grooves form a functional unit designed to guide a fluid, in particular the pressure medium, preferably the pressure medium and the extinguishing agent. In a preferred embodiment, the pressure medium flows around or partially around the piston plate when the upper side of the piston plate is at a distance from the inside of the container lid that is smaller than the difference between the groove length and the maximum height of the piston plate and / or when the pressure medium flows through the fluid outlet channel to the nozzle after the upper side of the piston plate has abutted the inside of the container lid.

[0071] According to the invention, an extinguishing system, in particular a small extinguishing system for property protection, is further proposed, comprising at least: an extinguishing agent container, as described above or below, an extinguishing agent line connected to the extinguishing agent container and at least one nozzle connected to the extinguishing agent line, which nozzle is designed to dispense an extinguishing agent originating from the extinguishing agent container.

[0072] In a further embodiment, the small extinguishing system comprises several such extinguishing agent containers and / or extinguishing agent lines and / or nozzles, for example two extinguishing agent containers, one extinguishing agent line and ten nozzles.

[0073] In other embodiments, the extinguishing agent container(s) is / are stored upright or horizontally.

[0074] According to the invention, a method for transporting an extinguishing agent by means of an extinguishing agent container having an extinguishing agent chamber and a pressure agent chamber, by means of an extinguishing agent container as described above or below, is further proposed, comprising at least the steps of: providing the extinguishing agent container; filling the extinguishing agent chamber with an extinguishing agent such that the extinguishing agent chamber has an atmospheric pressure; and optionally: transporting the extinguishing agent container, preferably with a transport device.

[0075] It is therefore proposed in particular to use an extinguishing agent container as described above or below for the transport of extinguishing agent and to fill only the extinguishing agent chamber with extinguishing agent for transport in such a way that an atmospheric pressure of approximately 1 bar prevails within the extinguishing agent container.

[0076] Following transport, the pressure medium can then be introduced into the pressure medium chamber in order to put the extinguishing agent container into an operating state.

[0077] According to the invention, a method is further proposed for filling an extinguishing agent container having an extinguishing agent chamber and a pressure medium chamber, by means of an extinguishing agent container as described above or below, at least comprising the steps of: providing the extinguishing agent container; optionally: cleaning the extinguishing agent chamber and the pressure medium chamber, in particular using a cleaning agent; filling the extinguishing agent chamber with an extinguishing agent such that the extinguishing agent chamber has an atmospheric pressure; and optionally: filling the pressure medium chamber with a pressure medium such that the pressure medium chamber has an operating pressure, in particular after the extinguishing agent chamber has been filled.

[0078] It is therefore proposed in particular to first fill the extinguishing agent chamber with extinguishing agent and then to fill the pressure agent chamber with pressure agent, in particular to apply pressure to it.

[0079] According to the invention, a method for dispensing an extinguishing agent by means of an extinguishing agent container described above or below is further proposed, at least comprising the steps of: releasing the extinguishing agent by opening a fluid outlet channel of an extinguishing agent container, wherein the opening preferably takes place by triggering a valve, wherein the opening leads to a movement of a piston plate in the extinguishing agent container, which presses the extinguishing agent out of the extinguishing agent container, wherein the piston plate is preferably at least temporarily or depending on the position of the piston plate in the extinguishing agent container flowed around by a pressure medium.

[0080] It is therefore proposed in particular to dispense extinguishing agent by means of an extinguishing agent container with a 2-chamber system, wherein the two chambers are separated by a piston plate slidably mounted in the extinguishing agent container.

[0081] For this purpose, an extinguishing agent container as described above or below is used.

[0082] Particularly preferably, the extinguishing agent container does not comprise two containers placed one inside the other, one for the extinguishing agent and one for the pressure medium.

[0083] Furthermore, the extinguishing agent is released by opening a fluid outlet channel, in particular by means of the piston plate being pushed out of the extinguishing agent container.

[0084] Preferably, a pressure medium flows around the piston plate when an upper side of the piston plate has a distance from an inner side of a container lid that is smaller than a difference between a groove length defined by a groove on a container wall and a maximum height of the piston plate.

[0085] It is therefore also proposed in particular that the extinguishing agent container has wall grooves as described above or below, which are preferably arranged in the extinguishing agent space.

[0086] It is also proposed that the wall grooves have a length greater than the piston head height, so that the piston head can be flowed around by means of the wall grooves when the piston head is at the height of the wall grooves. For this purpose, the wall grooves are preferably arranged near the fluid outlet channel in such a way that a substantially complete emptying of the extinguishing agent is possible.

[0087] Preferably, after the top side of the piston plate has struck the inside of the container lid, a pressure medium flows through the fluid outlet channel.

[0088] The sequence of such a method is explained in more detail below using an extinguishing agent container according to the invention as an example.

[0089] Further advantages and advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying figures, wherein the same reference numerals are used for identical or similar components or assemblies. Herein: Fig. 1 schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container according to the invention, in particular in a cross-section; Fig. 2 schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of a piston plate of an extinguishing agent container according to the invention, in particular in a plan view of the top side and the corresponding cross-section; Fig. 3A schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container according to the invention in a transport state, in particular in a cross-section; Fig. 3B schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container according to the invention in an operating state, in particular in a cross-section; Fig. 3C schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container according to the invention in a first emptying state, in particular in a cross-section;3D schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container according to the invention in a second emptying state, in particular in a cross-section; Fig. 3E schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container according to the invention in a third emptying state, in particular in a cross-section; Fig. 3F schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container according to the invention in a completely emptying state, in particular in a cross-section; and Fig. 4 schematically and exemplarily shows a preferred embodiment of a small extinguishing system according to the invention.

[0090] Fig. 1 shows schematically and exemplarily a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, in particular in a cross section.

[0091] The extinguishing agent container 100 comprises a pressure vessel 110 with a vessel cavity VB and a piston plate 120 arranged in the vessel cavity VB, which divides the vessel cavity VB into an extinguishing agent chamber VL and a pressure agent chamber VD.

[0092] The pressure vessel 110 itself has a vessel lid 112, a vessel bottom 114 and a vessel wall 116 arranged between the vessel lid 112 and the vessel bottom 114.

[0093] The container lid 112, the container bottom 114 and the container wall together line the container cavity VB in a fluid-tight manner.

[0094] In order to fill the extinguishing agent container 100, in particular the pressure medium chamber VD with a pressure medium D, a pressure medium valve 130 is arranged in the container bottom 114, which is designed to fill or pressurize the pressure medium chamber VD with a pressure medium D.

[0095] Furthermore, a venting and / or test connection 140 is arranged in the container bottom 114, which is designed to vent the pressure medium chamber VD and also or alternatively to check the pressure medium chamber VD, and in particular the pressure medium D in the pressure medium chamber VD.

[0096] In order to fill the extinguishing agent container 100, in particular the extinguishing agent chamber VL with an extinguishing agent L, a fluid outlet channel 113 is arranged on the container lid 112, which is connected, for example, to an extinguishing agent valve 150, which is designed to fill the extinguishing agent chamber VL with extinguishing agent and / or to release extinguishing agent L located in the extinguishing agent chamber VL as needed.

[0097] The extinguishing agent valve 150 is thus preferably fluidly connected to a fluid outlet channel 113 in the container lid 112.

[0098] The preferably electrical triggering device for the extinguishing agent valve 150 is preferably arranged above the fluid outlet channel, in particular outside the extinguishing agent container 100.

[0099] The container lid 112 thus preferably has at least one fluid outlet channel 113 for the extinguishing agent valve 150. The fluid outlet channel 113 is preferably arranged in the container lid 112. Particularly preferably, the fluid outlet channel 113 is configured to fill the extinguishing agent chamber (VL) with extinguishing agent (L) and / or to release or discharge the extinguishing agent (L) from the extinguishing agent chamber (VL).

[0100] The extinguishing agent valve 150 is further configured to hold the extinguishing agent L in the extinguishing agent chamber VL at a transport pressure PT and to discharge it from the extinguishing agent chamber VL at an operating pressure PB. Preferably, the transport pressure PT essentially corresponds to atmospheric pressure, i.e., approximately 1 bar. The operating pressure, however, is much higher, for example, 20 bar.

[0101] In order to empty the extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, the piston plate 120 is arranged essentially horizontally in the container cavity VB, i.e. essentially perpendicular to the container wall 116.

[0102] The piston plate 120 itself is essentially cylindrical and symmetrical and comprises a base body 124 and a body 126, with the body 126 being tapered. This design of the piston plate 120 essentially results in a chamfer Φ with a chamfer angle φ being formed between the container wall 116 and the piston plate 120, which preferably completely surrounds the body 126 at an angle of approximately 45°.

[0103] Furthermore, the container wall 116 has on the inner side 117 in an upper region of the extinguishing agent chamber VL four wall grooves 118, 118', 118", 118‴, which begin at the container lid 112, are offset by 90° to one another and extend the same distance into the extinguishing agent chamber VL, thus in particular have the same groove length LBN.

[0104] The wall grooves 118, 118', 118", 118‴ are preferably designed to guide the pressure medium D and the extinguishing medium L. In addition, the wall grooves 118, 118', 118", 118‴ have a groove length LBN that is greater than the height HKM of the piston plate 120.

[0105] Furthermore, on the upper side 121 of the piston plate 120, i.e. the side facing the extinguishing agent chamber VL, two piston plate grooves 122 122' are arranged within the body 126.

[0106] In addition, the upper side 121 of the piston plate 120 has a distance X to one or the inside of the container lid 112.

[0107] The piston plate grooves 122, 122' extend completely through the body 126 and intersect each other essentially vertically at the center point M of the piston plate.

[0108] Preferably, the piston plate grooves 122, 122' are further configured to guide the extinguishing agent and the pressure medium.

[0109] A preferred embodiment of the piston plate 120 is, for example, the Figur 2 can be found.

[0110] To separate the extinguishing agent chamber VL from the pressure medium chamber VD, two seals 128, 128' are arranged on the piston plate 120, which completely surround the piston plate 120. The seals 128, 128' are also vertically spaced from each other.

[0111] The functioning of the extinguishing agent container according to the invention is further explained below with reference to the Figuren 3A bis 3F explained.

[0112] Fig. 2 shows schematically and by way of example a preferred embodiment of a piston plate 120 of an extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, in particular in a plan view of the top side and the corresponding cross section, in particular of an extinguishing agent container 100 as in Fig. 1 shown.

[0113] The piston plate 120 essentially comprises a base body 124 and a body 126, as shown in the lower figure of the Fig. 2 shown.

[0114] The body 126 is tapered and has a chamfer Φ with a chamfer angle φ.

[0115] Furthermore, the body 124 is completely traversed by the two piston plate grooves 122, 122', which intersect vertically in the center M of the piston plate 120. The piston plate grooves 122, 122' are arranged on the upper side 121 of the piston plate 120, i.e., the side facing into the extinguishing agent chamber VL, i.e., the side facing away from the pressure medium chamber VD.

[0116] The functioning of the extinguishing agent container according to the invention will now be explained below with reference to the Figuren 3A bis 3F explained.

[0117] Fig. 3A shows schematically and exemplarily a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, as in Fig. 1 shown in a transport condition.

[0118] Here, the extinguishing agent chamber VL is essentially completely filled with an extinguishing agent L via the extinguishing agent valve 150, in particular such that the extinguishing agent L has a transport pressure PT, preferably an atmospheric pressure of approximately 1 bar.

[0119] Since the pressure medium chamber VD is not pressurized with a pressure medium D for transport, the volume of the pressure medium chamber approaches 0 liters.

[0120] As a result, the piston plate 120 essentially rests on the container bottom 114.

[0121] Fig. 3B shows schematically and exemplarily a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, as in Fig. 1 shown in an operating state.

[0122] After the extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention has been provided with extinguishing agent L, as for example in Fig. 3A shown, and has been transported to the site of use, the extinguishing agent container 100 is pressurized there via the pressure medium valve 130 with a pressure medium D in the pressure medium chamber VD, of e.g. 20 bar.

[0123] As a result, the piston plate 120 lifts slightly, or from the container bottom 114, and the extinguishing agent container is in its operating state.

[0124] The extinguishing agent container, for example, has an operating pressure PB of approximately 20 bar.

[0125] Fig. 3C shows schematically and exemplarily a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, as in Fig. 1 shown in a first emptying state.

[0126] After the extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention has been filled with extinguishing agent L, such as in Fig. 3A shown, and with pressure medium D, as in Fig. 3B shown, the extinguishing agent L can be released, for example, into a pipeline by opening the extinguishing agent valve 150.

[0127] By opening the extinguishing agent valve 150, the pressure medium D can relax, whereby the piston plate 120 is moved upwards and the extinguishing agent L is pressed out of the extinguishing agent container, this is due to the extinguishing agent flow L indicated.

[0128] Fig. 3D shows schematically and exemplarily a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, as in Fig. 1 shown in a second emptying state.

[0129] By further releasing the pressure medium D, as in Fig. 3C As shown, the piston plate 120 slides past the wall grooves 118, 118".

[0130] If the distance X of the upper side 121 of the piston plate 120 to the inside of the container lid 112 becomes smaller than the difference between the groove length L BN minus the maximum height of the piston plate H KM , i.e. in particular the height of the piston plate which rests against the wall groove, the pressure medium D begins to flow around the piston plate.

[0131] Therefore, pressure medium preferably flows around the piston plate if: X < L BN − H KM .

[0132] The pressure medium D thus flows around the piston plate 120 through the wall grooves 118, 118" and presses further extinguishing agent L out of the extinguishing agent container 100, this is due to the pressure medium flow D and the extinguishing agent flow L indicated.

[0133] Fig. 3E shows schematically and exemplarily a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, as in Fig. 1 shown in a third emptying state.

[0134] By further relaxing the pressure medium D, as in Fig. 3D As shown, the piston plate 120 moves up to the container ceiling 112.

[0135] As a result, the pressure medium D flows around the piston plate 120 through the wall grooves 118, 118" and through the piston plate grooves 122, 122' and presses the last extinguishing agent L, which is also located in the piston plate grooves 122, 122', out of the extinguishing agent container 100, this is due to the pressure medium flow D and the extinguishing agent flow L indicated.

[0136] The wall grooves 118, 118" and the piston plate grooves 122, 122' together with the circumferential chamfer thus form a fluid-conducting channel, as in Fig. 3E shown.

[0137] Fig. 3F shows schematically and exemplarily a preferred embodiment of an extinguishing agent container 100 according to the invention, as in Fig. 1 shown in a completely empty state.

[0138] After the last extinguishing agent L has been completely discharged from the extinguishing agent container 100, as in Fig. 3E As shown, the pressure medium D flows through the extinguishing agent valve 150.

[0139] According to the invention, the inflowing pressure medium D can also be used as extinguishing medium L, for example in a second extinguishing phase, in particular as described above.

[0140] The extinguishing agent container 100 is thus completely emptied of the extinguishing agent L or is in a completely empty state.

[0141] Fig. 4 shows schematically and exemplarily a preferred embodiment of a small extinguishing system 1000 according to the invention.

[0142] The small extinguishing system 1000 is particularly suitable for the protection of small, enclosed spaces 2000 of, for example, 15 m 3<, such as server rooms, snack machines, IT cabinets and the like.

[0143] The small extinguishing system 1000 comprises at least one extinguishing agent container 100 described above or below, an extinguishing agent line 200 connected to the extinguishing agent container 100 and a nozzle 300 connected to the extinguishing agent line 200, which is configured to dispense an extinguishing agent L originating from the extinguishing agent container.

[0144] The small extinguishing system 1000 is at least configured such that when the extinguishing agent L is discharged from the extinguishing agent container 100, a pressure of at least 2 bar prevails at the nozzle.

[0145] The operating pressure PB of the extinguishing agent container 100 is therefore adapted to the extinguishing system 1000 and the corresponding room 2000.

[0146] In some cases, the extinguishing agent container 100 can be pressurized with 20 bar in the pressure medium chamber, in other cases, for example, with 50 bar. Bezugszeichenliste:
