Description

[0001] The invention relates to a device for mucking out yards and meadows according to the preamble of the first claim and is particularly applicable to agricultural operations and free-range keeping of horses.

[0002] The soiling caused by the animals must be removed daily. This is done either by hand or using floor cleaning devices that are mounted on utility vehicles or tractors.

[0003] German patent application DE 197 04 777 C2 describes a device for cleaning stables, yards, and other surfaces. The device uses a collection container to pick up dirt, particularly manure. This container can be attached to the front of a carrier vehicle, moved from the vehicle onto the surface to be cleaned, and then lifted off again. The collection container is box-shaped, preferably the same width as the carrier vehicle. It has a lower front scraper edge that defines an opening for collecting the dirt.

[0004] The device features a rotatable paddle roller, positioned in a working position in front of the receiving opening, which can be pivoted upwards over the receiving opening towards the top of the container to clear it. The paddle roller has at least two blades extending longitudinally along the circumference of the roller, offset from one another. A pivoting linkage is mounted on the top of the receiving container, allowing the paddle roller to be raised and lowered. The paddle roller can be pivoted back far enough above the top of the container by means of the pivoting linkage that the scraping edge can be positioned close to piles of dirt, walls, or the like for direct collection or scooping of the contaminants.

[0005] According to the device, the paddle roller is pivotable, allowing the container to be used like a light material scoop. The contaminants are pushed against a wall and thus into the container. Subsequently, the paddle roller can be swept back into place.

[0006] Document 197 04 777 C2 also discloses a device for cleaning stables, yards, and other surfaces, in which the opening of the collection container is arranged facing forward in the direction of travel. Although the roller has continuous hard rubber blades arranged around its circumference, these blades scrape the surface being cleaned, potentially damaging it, particularly the turf. Furthermore, this scraping action causes increased wear on the hard rubber blades.

[0007] Publication AT 99045 C discloses a sweeper with a rotating brush arranged in front of the opening of a collection housing facing the direction of travel.

[0008] Inside the collection housing is a paddle wheel that conveys the debris into the collection container. According to page 2, lines 30 to 33, the housing is completely enclosed, preventing debris from falling out and keeping dust contained within this space. This is further enhanced by the action of the paddle wheel, which draws an airflow through the opening into the housing, directing it towards the brush. The paddle wheel thus creates a suction effect on the brush, which scrapes across the floor.

[0009] In a sweeper according to DE 196 17 986 A1, a disc brush and a sweeping roller are combined, which in particular picks up dust-like material from the ground and thus has ground contact between the disc brush and the sweeping roller.

[0010] The sweeping roller has bristles that point towards the ground through a downward-facing opening, thus maintaining contact with the ground.

[0011] Publication EP 3 207 793 A1 concerns a mobile device specifically for removing manure from horse stalls. The device has a wheeled container with a forward-opening shovel. Furthermore, the device has a shredding mechanism for cutting and conveying the material to be removed. A removable material tank is attached to the device, hinged to a frame-mounted flap and tilting. Inside, a blower assists in conveying the material into the tank.

[0012] German patent application DE 20 2004 016 652 U1 discloses a device for collecting horse manure, comprising a collection container, a chassis for the collection container, means for coupling it to a commercial vehicle, and a rotor. The rotor is positioned in front of the filling opening of the collection container. Furthermore, the device has a closable emptying opening on the collection container.

[0013] German patent application DE 20 2017 005 125 U1 discloses a housing for a sweeper for collecting dirt in a dirt collection container, particularly for pushing and / or pulling, and for accommodating at least one sweeping roller. Different sweeping rollers or containers can be attached to the housing. The housing is open on the sides and is primarily intended for street cleaning.

[0014] State-of-the-art devices can only be mounted on a front loader, as the front loader's lifting function is used to empty the container. However, front loaders are significantly more expensive than tractors without this function.

[0015] The object of the invention is to develop a device for mucking out yards and meadows which has a simple structural design and can be mounted on almost any agricultural vehicle.

[0016] This problem is solved by the characterizing features of the first patent claim.

[0017] Advantageous embodiments result from the dependent claims.

[0018] The device according to the invention for mucking out yards and meadows for mounting on a commercial vehicle is defined by the features of claim 1 and comprises a support frame for attaching the device to the commercial vehicle and a container for receiving dirt with a container opening, wherein the container is pivotably arranged on the support frame by means of a lifting element so as to be pivotable upwards in relation to the support frame such that, in an emptying position, the dirt can be emptied through the container opening of the pivoted upwards container and that, in a working position, the container is pivoted downwards such that the container opening is closed by means of the support frame, and with a conveying roller arranged in a working position with an opening pointing downwards towards the ground, having means for conveying the dirt into the container.wherein at least one means extends through the downward-facing opening towards the bottom, wherein the conveying roller is connected to the container and the downward-facing opening is formed in the container or on the support frame, and the conveying roller is designed in the form of a collecting roller, wherein the collecting roller has circumferential collecting lips, and that the collecting roller is arranged in the region of the downward-facing opening, wherein in the working position with a closed container at least one collecting lip extends through the downward-facing opening towards the bottom such that the collecting lip is spaced 3 mm to 20 mm from the bottom, and a vacuum can be generated by means of the collecting roller by its rotation in the region of the downward-facing opening, and that the container is arranged on the support frame so as to be pivoted upwards by means of a lifting element, such thatthat in an emptying position the contaminants can be emptied through the container opening of the upwardly pivoted container and that in the working position the container is pivoted downwards in such a way that the container opening is closed by means of the support frame.

[0019] The conveyor roller is preferably driven by a motor mounted on its longitudinal axis. However, the roller can also be driven via a gearbox.

[0020] The conveyor roller is designed in the form of a collecting roller with circumferential collecting lips, wherein the collecting roller is arranged in the area of the downward-facing opening such that at least one collecting lip extends through the downward-widening opening towards the bottom.

[0021] The collecting lips extend across the entire width of the collecting roller. Preferably, the collecting roller extends across almost the entire width of the device. The downward-facing collecting lip, which engages with the contaminants, is positioned 3 to 20 mm from the base in its vertical orientation. A vacuum can be generated by rotating the collecting roller in the area of the downward-facing opening. The container is positioned between 20 and 50 mm above the base. Preferably, the distance of the collecting lip engaging with the contaminants from the base is 5 to 10 mm. The container is preferably positioned 40 mm from the base.

[0022] The negative pressure is created by the use of the collecting lips in conjunction with the closed container. The collecting lips are preferably made of a vulcanized elastomer. Air can thus be scooped out of the container by means of the collecting lips. Simultaneously, the contaminants are "sucked in" by a suction effect. A clean surface remains, without any soil or earth removal.

[0023] The device is suitable for use on concrete and paved surfaces, paddock slabs, artificial turf, mineral mixtures and asphalt recycling.

[0024] According to the device, the conveyor roller is positioned in the direction of travel in front of the container opening. In push mode, the conveyor roller is mounted on the support frame, while in pull mode, it is mounted on the upward-pivoting container. Push mode describes mounting the device at the front of the commercial vehicle, and pull mode describes mounting it at the rear. A suitable device can be mounted depending on the commercial vehicle used.

[0025] The conveyor roller is height-adjustable and interchangeable via a quick-release mechanism. It can be set to either two mechanically preset heights using an eccentric mechanism or to a custom height setting. This allows for quick and easy replacement of the rollers depending on the application. The height adjustment is preferably mechanical, featuring a locking bolt. This allows for adjustments to the surface or to the wear of the collecting lips on the roller.

[0026] In an advantageous embodiment, the container is connected to the support frame by means of a hinge. The pivoting movement is preferably effected by means of a lifting element, wherein the first end of each lifting element is arranged on the container and the second end of each lifting element is arranged on the support frame.

[0027] The first and second lifting elements are preferably designed in the form of a first and second hydraulic cylinder, with the hydraulic cylinders arranged on the left and right sides of the container or support frame. However, threaded rods or other means for changing the installation length of the lifting element can also be used.

[0028] The container preferably has a stiffening frame to absorb the pressure forces as well as the movement forces during use and emptying.

[0029] Preferably, the support frame is equipped with a Euro hitch for connection to a tractor. This allows the front and rear hitches of the vehicle, particularly the tractor, to be used. Furthermore, the device can be adapted from the Euro hitch to a 3-point hitch using a commercially available adapter.

[0030] The container preferably has a floor roller with a articulated bearing, spaced apart from the container wall. The floor roller is arranged downstream of the conveyor roller in the direction of travel. In a first embodiment, as a front-mounted unit, the support frame incorporates the floor roller with the articulated bearing, while in a second embodiment, as a rear-mounted unit on the commercial vehicle, the container incorporates the floor roller with a drive shaft. The floor roller ensures a constant distance to the ground and prevents the device from becoming embedded in the ground.

[0031] This allows for the leveling of ground elevations and, thanks to its robust design, serves as impact protection.

[0032] Preferably, the device has a floating position. This allows for better compensation of uneven ground between the tractor and the device. The device can be given an independent movement pattern relative to the tractor, depending on the surface. Furthermore, the device has a crossbar by means of which vertical movement can be compensated.

[0033] For use on all types of surfaces, the device has wheels mounted on the container and rotatably mounted. These can be mounted on the side or underneath the container. With side mounting, the container extends between the wheels towards the ground. Preferably, the wheels are connected to the container by means of an independent wheel suspension and arranged under a cover attached to the container. The cover can be L-shaped and is connected to the container at one leg of the cover. The second leg serves as a cover for the wheels.

[0034] The container is preferably made of bent or welded sheet steel, which allows for a robust design.

[0035] Preferably, at least one baffle plate is arranged inside the container, so that optimal filling of the container with the collected contaminants is possible despite vibrations. This prevents the material from being forced forward again by the vibrations.

[0036] The device is supplied with the necessary fluid and operating pressure for the lifting elements via a hydraulic system. The hydraulic system can be connected to the tractor or other utility vehicle. To protect the device, several safety features are incorporated, such as pressure relief and check valves. These valves protect the hydraulic unit from damage caused by incorrect operation or malfunctions.

[0037] Furthermore, a valve is provided to ensure all hydraulic functions, even if only a double-acting hydraulic control circuit is present. This makes the device suitable for use on all types of tractors.

[0038] In an advantageous embodiment, the device can be operated by means of its own control unit, either via cable or wirelessly. This can be achieved, for example, via a radio remote control or other wireless communication methods.

[0039] The device according to the invention can be used in a first embodiment as a front-mounted attachment and in a second embodiment as a rear-mounted attachment. Connection to the commercial vehicle is achieved either via the Euro hitch integrated into the device or via commercially available adapter solutions for a three-point hitch.

[0040] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment and associated drawings, without being limited to these.

[0041] They show: Figure 1 shows a device in a side view in a working position, Figure 2 shows a device in a side view in a discharge position, Figure 3 shows a top view of the device. Figure 4 shows an alternative embodiment of the device for push operation, Figure 5 shows the discharge position of the alternative embodiment of the device.

[0042] The device according to Figure 1 and 2 concerns a device for rear mounting on a commercial vehicle and is shown in a side view in a working position ( Figure 1 ) and an emptying position ( Figure 2The device comprises a container 1 with wheels 2 attached to it. The container 1 is preferably made of bent or welded sheet steel, thus providing a robust design resistant to external forces and influences.

[0043] The wheels 2 can be arranged laterally, as shown in the figures, or underneath the container 1. Furthermore, the wheels 2 are mounted to rotate 360° and are connected to the container 1 by means of independent wheel suspension. This allows for use on all types of surfaces and a reduced turning radius.

[0044] In the front region of the container 1, a conveying roller in the form of a collecting roller 3 is arranged above a downward-facing opening 1.1 in the container 1. Collecting lips 3.1 are attached circumferentially to the collecting roller 3.1, with at least one collecting lip 3.1 extending through the opening 1.1 towards the bottom. The downward-facing collecting lip 3.1, which engages with the contaminants, is vertically spaced 5 mm from the bottom, and a vacuum can be generated by the rotation of the collecting roller 3 in the region of the downward-facing opening 1.1. The container 1 is preferably positioned 40 mm above the bottom. The collecting lips 3.1 preferably extend over the entire width of the collecting roller 3 and are preferably made of a vulcanized elastomer.

[0045] The collecting roller 3 is preferably interchangeable by means of a quick-change unit 4 such that a suitable roller can be used quickly depending on the intended use.

[0046] The collecting roller 3 is connected to the container 1 at both ends by means of a mounting bracket 5, the mounting bracket 5 having a mechanical height adjustment mechanism 6 with locking pins. Furthermore, the mounting bracket 5 includes a drive for the collecting roller 3. The height adjustment mechanism 6 can be mounted on the left or right side of the device. An electrical or hydraulic control of the height adjustment is also conceivable.

[0047] The container 1 is arranged on a support frame 7 such that the support frame 7 forms a contact surface for the container 1 at a rear opening 1.2 of the container 1, which points towards the tractor. The opening 1.2 of the container 1 is held in the working position by means of the support frame 7. Figure 1 sealed.

[0048] The container 1 is pivotally connected to the support frame 7 by means of a hinge 8 and can be deflected upwards by means of a lifting element 9. According to Figure 2 The container 1 and the collection roller 3 mounted on it pivot upwards at the hinge 8, thereby releasing the container opening 1.2 of the container 1. This results in the emptying of the collected contaminants from the container 1. The lifting element 9 is preferably designed in the form of a hydraulic cylinder and is mounted on the right and left sides of the container 1, with its first end attached to a bracket 10 on the container 1 and its second end attached to a connection bracket 11 on the support frame 7. However, it is also possible to have only one lifting element, which is preferably arranged centrally on the container 1 in the direction of the support frame 7.

[0049] Preferably, the container has a stiffening frame 12 to absorb compressive forces as well as kinetic forces resulting from movement of the device. Preferably, the bracket 10 is attached to the stiffening frame 12 or in the area of the stiffening frame 12.

[0050] Inside the container 1, at least one baffle plate 13 is provided. The use of this baffle plate 13 makes it possible to utilize the maximum volume of the container 1, since otherwise the collected material would be shaken forward again during operation by vibrations and shocks and would clog up in the area of the collecting roller 3.

[0051] The device is connected to the commercial vehicle, or the tractor unit, by means of a mounting bracket 14. The mounting bracket 14 is preferably designed in the form of a Euro-type coupling so that the device can be attached to standard tractor units. The mounting bracket 14 is connected to the support frame 7 on the left and right sides via an upper tension / compression cross member 15 and a lower compression / compression strut 16, the lower compression / compression strut 16 being pivotably mounted on both sides. This allows the load to be transferred between the tractor unit and the device.

[0052] The device is preferably mounted in a floating manner relative to the commercial vehicle or tractor unit. For this purpose, the upper tension / compression crossbeams 15 are connected to each other by means of a crossbar 17, which is guided in a round profile 18, so that vertical movements can be compensated for, but tensile and compressive forces can still be transmitted by the tractor unit. The floating mounting allows the device an independent movement pattern relative to the tractor unit, depending on the ground surface.

[0053] In the area of the collecting roller 3 outside the container 1, a floor roller 19 with a spherical bearing is arranged. The floor roller 19 compensates for uneven ground. Furthermore, the floor roller 19 serves as impact protection for the device.

[0054] The device is operated via a hydraulic system, which includes a pressure relief and check valve 20 for protection. This protects the hydraulic unit from damage caused by incorrect operation or malfunctions. Furthermore, the hydraulic system includes a valve 21 to ensure all hydraulic functions are available even when only a double-acting hydraulic control circuit is present. This makes it suitable for use on all types of tractors. Control is preferably wireless via a radio remote control. The individual components are connected via hydraulic piping 22. Preferably, components 20, 21, and 22 are arranged in a housing 23. The housing may also contain a changeover valve 24, a 12V connection 25, a power supply 26, and a pressure relief valve 27.The changeover valve 24 is designed as a 6 / 2-way changeover valve. The hydraulic functions are controlled via the valve 24, the 12V connection, and the power supply 26. The 12V connection powers the loader's on-board electronics. The power supply 26 is a battery unit and is used when a connection to the 12V mains is not possible. The pressure flow control valve is infinitely adjustable to set and regulate the roller speed and / or the hydraulic pressure in the system, depending on the commercial vehicle being used.

[0055] Figure 3 shows the device in a top view according to the design of the device in the Figure 1 and 2The lifting element 9 is preferably formed within a hydraulic cylinder and is mounted on the right and left sides of the container 1, as well as on the support frame 7. The lifting elements 9 enable a pivoting movement of the container 1 about several hinges 8 on the support frame 7.

[0056] The container 1 is reinforced circumferentially by the stiffening frame 12. Also shown is the collecting roller 3, which is driven by a coaxial motor located on the console 5. The collecting roller 3, with its attached collecting lips 3.1, extends over almost the entire width of the device. The receiving box 23 is mounted on the container 1 as a raised section. This receiving box contains the pressure relief / check valve, the valve for connection to a tractor, and the hydraulic piping. In the top view on the left, the floor roller 19 is mounted on the container 1, protruding and thus serving as impact protection.

[0057] An alternative design of the device for front-mounted installation on a commercial vehicle is described in the Figures 4 and 5 depicted.

[0058] According to the Figures 4 and 5The design differs with regard to the Figures 1 to 3 in that the downwardly pointing opening 1.1 with the conveying roller 3 arranged therein is formed on the support frame 7.

[0059] The collecting roller 3 is arranged in the support frame 7 in the area of the downward-facing opening 1.1. Collecting lips 3.1 are arranged circumferentially on the collecting roller 3, with at least one collecting lip 3.1 extending through the opening 1.1 towards the bottom. The downward-facing collecting lip 3.1, which engages with the contaminants, is vertically spaced 5 mm from the bottom. In this embodiment as well, a vacuum can be generated by the rotation of the collecting roller 3 in the area of the downward-facing opening 1.1. The container 1 is arranged 40 mm above the bottom. The collecting lips 3.1 preferably extend over the entire width of the collecting roller 3 and are preferably made of a vulcanized elastomer. The collecting roller 3 preferably extends over almost the entire width of the device.

[0060] The collecting roller 3 is preferably interchangeable by means of a quick-change unit 4 and is connected at both ends to the support frame 7 by means of a mounting bracket 5, wherein the mounting bracket 5 has a mechanical height adjustment 6 with locking pins. Furthermore, the mounting bracket 5 includes a drive for the collecting roller 3. The height adjustment 6 can be mounted on the left or right side of the device. An electrical or hydraulic control of the height adjustment is also conceivable. In addition, a memory function for two preset heights can be provided by means of an eccentric. Alternatively, individual height adjustment is possible.

[0061] The container 1 is arranged on the support frame 7 such that the support frame 7 forms a contact surface for the container 1 at a rear opening 1.2 of the container 1, which points towards the tractor. The opening 1.2 of the container 1 is secured in the working position by means of the support frame 7. Figure 4 closed. The open position is in Figure 5 depicted.

[0062] The container 1 is pivotally connected to the support frame 7 by means of a hinge 8 and can be deflected upwards by means of a lifting element 9. According to Figure 5The container 1 and the wheels 2 attached to it pivot upwards at the hinge 8, thereby releasing the container opening 1.2 of the container 1.

[0063] The design of the stiffening frame and the design of container 1 is analogous to the device according to the Figures 1 to 3 .

[0064] The device is connected to the commercial vehicle, or tractor unit, by means of a mounting bracket 14. The mounting bracket 14 is preferably designed in the form of a Euro mount so that the device can be attached to standard tractor units. The mounting bracket 14 is connected to the support frame 7 on the left and right sides via an upper tension / compression cross member 15 and a lower compression / compression strut 16, the lower compression / compression strut 16 being pivotably mounted on both sides. This allows for load transfer between the tractor unit and the device. The mounting bracket 14 can be mounted to any commercial vehicle using suitable adapters.

[0065] The device is preferably mounted in a floating manner relative to the commercial vehicle or tractor unit.

[0066] In the area of the collecting roller 3 on the support frame 7, the floor roller 19 with a spherical bearing is arranged downstream of the collecting roller 3 in the direction of travel. The floor roller 19 compensates for uneven ground. A constant distance to the ground can be maintained.

[0067] The operation and control of the device as a front attachment according to the Figures 4 and 5 technically corresponds to the design according to the Figures 1 to 3 as a rear attachment.

[0068] The present invention enables the removal of contaminants using simple tractors or other agricultural machinery without a front loader. Furthermore, the container is easier to clean because gravity facilitates the removal of contaminants when water is added. Reference symbol list
