Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a household dishwasher.
[0002] The operation of household dishwashers is to be made increasingly simpler.
[0003] For example, it is known from publications DE 10 2018 130699 A1, EP 2 568 864 B1 and DE 10 2005 010 616 A1 to equip a household dishwasher with a drive. The drive is designed to move a dish rack automatically. Furthermore, devices for automatic door opening in a household dishwasher are known from publications DE 10 2017 114984 A1, EP 2 797 478 B1, EP 2 568 864 B1 and EP 2 371 258 A2.
[0004] The object of the present invention is to provide an improved household dishwasher.
[0005] According to the invention, a household dishwasher according to claim 1 is provided. Accordingly, a household dishwasher is provided with a wash tub, a door for closing or opening the wash tub, a dish loading mechanism, and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism is configured to move the dish loading mechanism in an extension direction and / or a retraction direction such that it at least partially opens and / or closes the door.
[0006] Drives for the automatic, especially motorized, movement of a dishwashing basket are known from the prior art, as described in the introduction. Advantageously, this drive is now used in conjunction with the dishwashing basket to open and / or close the door. This eliminates the need for an additional door opening mechanism or simplifies such a mechanism.
[0007] The door can open partially or fully. The door is moved by means of the dishwashing basket driven by the actuator into a partially open position, or from such a position to its closed position. The opening angle of the door in its partially open position can be, for example, between 3° and 90°, preferably between 5° and 45°. In the fully open position, the opening angle of the door is preferably 90°. The opening angle here is the angle that a substantially flat section of the door, such as its surrounding edge, forms with the vertical direction.
[0008] In a first alternative according to the invention, the dishwashing tray presses directly against the door to open it.
[0009] When pressing directly, the dishwashing basket presses directly against the inside of the door, specifically against the inner door panel, using its end face. When pressing indirectly, the dishwashing basket presses against the inner door panel by means of an additional component. This additional component could be a damping element or a glider, as will be explained in more detail later.
[0010] The exit direction and / or the entry direction can be horizontal, or even exclusively horizontal. Alternatively, the exit direction and / or the entry direction can describe a curve. This is the case, for example, when the drive moves the dishwashing container out of or into the wash tank using parallelogram linkages or similar mechanisms.
[0011] In particular, a household dishwasher may have multiple dish holders and / or multiple drives.
[0012] According to one embodiment, the door has an open position with a predetermined opening angle at the end of the opening movement mediated by the drive and / or at the beginning of the closing movement mediated by the drive. "Predetermined" here means that the opening angle is not arbitrary, but rather determined by the mechanics, electronics, etc. This also means that the opening angle remains the same throughout the operating life of the household dishwasher, unless it is designed to be adjustable, as described in more detail below.
[0013] In other embodiments, the opening angle can also be non-predetermined. In particular, the (even predetermined) opening angle can differ at the end of the opening movement and at the beginning of the closing movement. This means that the door is opened with the aid of the dishwashing tray to a first opening angle of, for example, 10 degrees, and closed with the aid of the dishwashing tray at a second opening angle of, for example, 30 degrees.
[0014] In this context, a "dishwashing basket" refers to a receptacle for items to be washed, such as plates, cups, glasses, or pots. According to the invention, the dishwashing basket is designed as an upper dishwashing basket, i.e., as an upper basket; a dishwashing basket can also be designed as a lower basket or as a cutlery drawer. According to a further embodiment, the household dishwasher has a control unit which is configured to actuate the drive for moving the dishwashing basket in the extension direction until the door reaches the predetermined opening angle.
[0015] "Control" here can also include a regulation system. This system can, for example, have a sensor (or several sensors) that specifically detects the actual opening angle. The control unit then compares the actual opening angle with the predetermined opening angle and controls the drive until the actual opening angle matches the predetermined opening angle. When the door closes, the control unit controls the drive to move the dishwashing basket in the inbound direction until the door has moved from its starting position (at least partially open) to its closed position. A corresponding regulation system can also be provided for this.
[0016] According to another embodiment, the household dishwasher has an input device which is configured to receive user input. The control unit is configured to adjust the predetermined opening angle by means of the drive, depending on the user input.
[0017] The input device is, for example, a control element such as a switch, a rotary knob, a touch display, or a communication interface (e.g., wireless / network). The communication interface can be configured to receive user input from an external device, such as a smartphone.
[0018] According to another embodiment, the predetermined opening angle is adjustable between at least a first and second value.
[0019] The adjustment between at least the first and second values can be made, for example, at the factory by the dishwasher manufacturer or by the user. This allows the opening angle to be easily adapted to individual needs. For example, some users will prefer a wider opening angle for ergonomic reasons than others.
[0020] According to another embodiment, the first value and / or the second value can be adjusted mechanically, pneumatically, hydraulically and / or electronically by a user.
[0021] In particular, the electronic setting can be easily adjusted via the aforementioned input device, especially with the help of a control element.
[0022] According to another embodiment, the household dishwasher includes a data storage device on which the predetermined opening angle or the first value and / or the second value is stored.
[0023] For example, the first value could be a default setting that is written to the data memory at the factory. The second value, on the other hand, could be set by a user. Different data memories can also be used for the first and second values, with the data memory for the first value being, for example, read-only. This allows the default setting to be stored immutably.
[0024] According to another embodiment, the household dishwasher has a calculation unit which is designed to calculate the predetermined opening angle or the first value and / or the second value and, if necessary, to store it on the data storage device.
[0025] According to another embodiment, the calculation unit is configured to calculate the predetermined opening angle or the first value and / or the second value depending on simulated data and / or real data.
[0026] The processing unit may, in particular, include artificial intelligence configured to calculate the predetermined opening angle or the first and / or second value based on simulated and / or real data. "Artificial intelligence" in this context refers to one or more algorithms. These algorithms may include, for example, one or more neural networks, statistical methods, or the like. Specifically, the artificial intelligence may include algorithms trained using training data (either factory-generated, i.e., by the manufacturer of the household dishwasher, or by the user of the household dishwasher, i.e., the customer). Training using training data may also take place throughout the dishwasher's service life, particularly on-site at the customer's premises.
[0027] "Simulated data" can be obtained in two main ways: First, another (especially identical or comparable) household dishwasher can be equipped with one or more sensors that, for example, observe the behavior of a standard user. The data collected in this way is then written, for example, at the factory to a data memory in the household dishwasher and is then available to the processing unit during operation. However, such data can also be read in via a private computer network (LAN, etc.) or a public computer network (WAN, etc.), specifically at the operating location of the household dishwasher (i.e., at the customer's premises).
[0028] "Real data" can be provided, for example, by having a household dishwasher equipped with one or more sensors designed to record user behavior. This allows for the advantageous recording of actual user behavior, which can then be used by the processing unit.
[0029] This will be done, and it is not necessary to rely on empirical data collected from other (standard) users (simulated data).
[0030] According to another embodiment, the household dishwasher also has a lower dish loading area. The drive, or a respective drive, is configured to first open the door to a first opening angle using the upper dish loading area, and then to open the door to a second opening angle, which is greater than the first, using the lower dish loading area.
[0031] For example, the first opening angle can be between 5° and 30° and / or the second opening angle between 30° and 90°. The upper and lower loading areas could, in particular, be upper and lower baskets. However, the upper loading area could also be a cutlery drawer and the lower loading area a lower basket. This allows the door to be opened fully with ease. It is also possible that the household dishwasher may have three or more loading areas or levels.
[0032] In particular, a first drive can be assigned to the upper dishwashing area and a second drive to the lower dishwashing area.
[0033] According to another embodiment, moving the dishwashing tray in the extension direction from its fully retracted position with the help of the drive is only possible if a device of the dishwashing tray first detects the closed state and / or the unlocked state of the door.
[0034] According to one design, the household dishwasher has a door lock. This lock is engaged when the door is closed. The dishware basket must overcome the closing force of the door lock to open the door. According to a second design, the household dishwasher includes a door opening module for automatically locking and unlocking the door lock. In this case, the door lock is only unlocked before the dishware basket is pressed against the door to open it. Advantageously, this design eliminates or reduces the risk of injury to the user from an opening door, as the door only opens if it was previously closed.
[0035] The device primarily consists of a sensor that detects the closed position of the door. Additionally or alternatively, the device may include a door opening module that outputs a corresponding signal depending on whether the door is locked or unlocked.
[0036] In a further alternative according to the invention, the household dishwasher has a coupling device which is designed to detachably couple the door to the dishwashing basket for closing the door.
[0037] In the further alternative according to the invention, the coupling device consists of magnets. This advantageously allows the door to be "captured" in order to pull it closed with the aid of the dishwashing tray. Since the door is detachably connected to the dishwashing tray by means of the coupling device, the door can be opened further, particularly when opening the tray beyond a predetermined opening angle. This is preceded by decoupling the door from the dishwashing tray, that is, in particular, by disconnecting the coupling device. Decoupling can be achieved by a user manually pulling the door open further or, for example, by the lower dishwashing tray pushing the door open further.
[0038] According to a further embodiment, one of the door and the dishwashing tray has a damping element and / or a slider, wherein the damping element and / or slider is arranged between the dishwashing tray and the door in the closed position of the door and / or in the partially open position thereof.
[0039] This prevents damage to the inside of the door or the dishwashing tray if they collide, for example during automated opening or closing of the door.
[0040] According to another embodiment, the household dishwasher has a control unit which is designed to control the drive in such a way that it drives the dishwashing basket with a variable acceleration.
[0041] In particular, the drive system accelerates the loading of the dishes slowly before they contact the door, and then more quickly. This allows for a smooth start, which reduces operating noise and wear.
[0042] According to a further embodiment, the receiving area for the items being washed is provided to be movable exclusively in a linear fashion in the exit direction and / or the entry direction.
[0043] According to a further embodiment, the drive comprises an electric motor, a mechanical system, a pneumatic system, and / or a hydraulic system. The mechanical system may, in particular, be a spring system.
[0044] According to another embodiment, the drive is designed to move the dishwashing container by means of a gearbox, in particular a gear which engages in a rack.
[0045] The units described here, such as the control unit, can be designed using hardware and / or software.
[0046] Other possible implementations of the invention also include combinations of features or embodiments described previously or subsequently with regard to the exemplary embodiments, even if not explicitly mentioned. In such cases, the person skilled in the art will also add individual aspects as improvements or additions to the respective basic form of the invention.
[0047] Further advantageous embodiments and aspects of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims and the exemplary embodiments of the invention described below. The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to preferred embodiments and the accompanying figures.
[0048] They show Fig. 1 a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a household dishwasher; Fig. 2 a view II-II from the Fig. 1 , with the door of the household dishwasher in its closed position; Fig. 3 the view from the Fig. 2 , with the door in its open position; Fig. 4 a circuit diagram of the household dishwasher from the Fig. 1 bis 3 according to one embodiment; Fig. 5 an enlarged view V from the Fig. 2 ; Fig. 6 an enlarged view VI from the Fig. 3 ; Fig. 7 a variant compared to the Fig. 6 ; Fig. 8 a velocity-time diagram of a dish basket of a household dishwasher; and Fig. 9 a velocity-time diagram according to one variant.
[0049] In the figures, identical or functionally equivalent elements have been given the same reference symbols, unless otherwise indicated.
[0050] The Fig. 1 Figure 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a household dishwasher 1. The household dishwasher 1 comprises a wash chamber 2, which can be closed by a door 3, in particular in a watertight manner. For this purpose, a sealing device can be provided between the door 3 and the wash chamber 2. The wash chamber 2 is preferably cuboid in shape. The wash chamber 2 can be arranged in a housing of the household dishwasher 1. The wash chamber 2 and the door 3 can form a wash chamber 4 for washing items.
[0051] Door 3 is in the Fig. 1 The door 3 is shown in its open position. It can be opened or closed by pivoting it about a pivot axis 5 located at its lower end. The door 3 can be used to open or close a loading opening 6 of the wash tank 2. The wash tank 2 has a base 7, a top 8 opposite the base 7, a rear wall 9 opposite the closed door 3, and two opposing side walls 10 and 11. The base 7, the top 8, the rear wall 9, and the side walls 10 and 11 can, for example, be made of stainless steel. Alternatively, the base 7 can, for example, be made of a plastic material.
[0052] The household dishwasher 1 further comprises at least one dishware holder 12 to 14. Preferably, several, for example three, dishware holders 12 to 14 can be provided, wherein the dishware holder 12 can be a lower dishware holder or a lower basket, the dishware holder 13 an upper dishware holder or an upper basket, and the dishware holder 14 a cutlery drawer. As the Fig. 1 As further shown, the dishware holders 12 to 14 are arranged one above the other in the washing container 2. Each dishware holder 12 to 14 can be moved either into or out of the washing container 2. In particular, each dishware holder 12 to 14 can be pushed or driven into the washing container 2 in an insertion direction E (also referred to as "input direction E"; arrow) and pulled or driven out of the washing container 2 in the opposite direction to the insertion direction E (arrow) in an extraction direction A (also referred to as "exit direction A"; arrow).
[0053] The Fig. 2 shows a section II-II from the Fig. 1 For example, the household dishwasher 1 has an upper rack 13 which can be automatically extended out of the wash tub 2 in the extension direction A (arrow) and retracted into the wash tub 2 in the insertion direction E (arrow) (also referred to as "automatic rack movement"). A device 15 is provided for this purpose. The device 15 can have a drive in the form of an electric motor 16 and a gearbox 17. The gearbox 17 can drive one or more unspecified gears and / or a rack. For example, the rack can be attached to the upper rack 13, and a gear driven by the electric motor 16 engages with the rack, thereby allowing the upper rack 13 to be extended and retracted. The upper rack 13 is held, for example, by means of a telescopic extension 18 so that it can be moved linearly only on the inside of an unspecified wash tub.The movement is exclusively linear, occurring in the exit direction A (arrow) or in the entry direction E (arrow).
[0054] The electric motor 16 is designed to move the upper basket 13 in the Fig. 2 shown closed position of door 3 with its front face 19 (see Fig. 3 ) against the inside of the door 20. If the force applied to the inside of the door 20 (that is, in particular the inner door panel) exceeds a predetermined threshold value, the door 3 opens, as shown in the Fig. 3 to be seen. The resulting opening angle α describes how far the door 3 opens. The opening angle α is defined between the inside of the door 20 and a vertically extending rim of the wash tub 21. As shown in the Fig. 3 As can be further seen, door 3 opens as far as it is pushed open by the upper basket 13. This is limited in particular where a lower corner 22 (see Fig. 3 ) on the front side 19 of the upper basket 13 loses contact with the inside 20 of the door 3.
[0055] The opening angle α is advantageously predefined in a household dishwasher 1. Furthermore, in embodiments, this angle can be adjustable, in particular between a first and a second value α1, α2 (see Fig. 3 ).
[0056] According to a first embodiment, the household dishwasher 1 therefore has a [feature] in the Fig. 4 The control unit 23 shown. Fig. 4 This shows an example circuit diagram of a household dishwasher 1.
[0057] The control unit 23 can, for example, be designed as a microprocessor. This is particularly advantageous if the control unit 23 is separate from a central control unit 24 (see Fig. 2 ) of the household dishwasher 1. The central control unit 24, for example, provides control for the pumps and valves of the household dishwasher 1.
[0058] The control unit 23 can also be implemented (purely) in software on the central control unit 24. The control unit 23 is configured to control the electric motor 16 until the door 3 reaches the predetermined opening angle α. In the area of its pivot axis 5, the door 3 can be coupled to the housing 2 of the household dishwasher 1 by means of a brake (not shown). This brake can be configured to prevent further (unintentional) opening of the door 3 once it has reached the predetermined opening angle α.
[0059] Furthermore, the household dishwasher 1 can have an input device 25 (see Fig. 4 ) for receiving user input. The input device 25 can, for example, be integrated into a control panel 26 on the front or outside of the door 3 or on its upper narrow side (see Fig. 3 ) be integrated, including in terms of software. For example, the washing programs of the household dishwasher 1 can be selected via the control panel 26.
[0060] Using the input device 25, a user (also referred to as operator) can enter the desired predetermined opening angle α. Alternatively, in some embodiments, the user can select a specific mode, for example, comfort mode, for which a predetermined opening angle α is stored on a data memory 27 (see Fig. 4 ) is stored. If the comfort mode is selected, the control unit 23 controls the electric motor 16 with the opening angle α read from the data memory 27.
[0061] Furthermore, it may be provided that the user can adjust the predetermined opening angle α between a first and second value α1 and α2, for example, for convenience. For instance, the angle α1 could be a factory-preset angle stored in the data memory 27 (default setting). If the user desires a different opening angle α2, they can set it using the input device 25. This setting is then also written to the data memory 27. According to the exemplary embodiment, the first and second values α1 and α2 of the predetermined opening angle α are set electronically by the user. However, this could also be done mechanically, pneumatically, or hydraulically.
[0062] The Fig. 4 Figure 1 shows a further embodiment in which the household dishwasher 1 has a calculation unit 28. The calculation unit 28 is configured to calculate the predetermined opening angle α or the first value α1 and / or the second value α2 and, if necessary, to store it on the data storage device 27. The calculation unit 28 has an artificial intelligence 29, for example in the form of a neural network. The artificial intelligence 29 is provided with simulated data 30 (indicated by dashed lines in the figure). Fig. 4 ) or trained with real data 31 (or both data 30, 31). The simulated data 30 can, for example, correspond to simulated user behavior. The real data 31, on the other hand, can correspond to actual user behavior. The simulated data 30 can, for example, be provided via a public network, in particular the Internet. The real data 31 is acquired, for example, using one or more sensors (not shown) in the household dishwasher 1.
[0063] Based on the Fig. 2 und 3 The following embodiments will now be explained, which can result from the fact that, on the one hand (see Fig. 2 ) the household dishwasher 1 has a door lock 32 without an associated actuator. On the other hand, in the embodiment according to the Fig. 3 A door lock 32 is present, which is part of a door opening module 33. The door opening module 33 includes, in particular, a wax motor 34 (or another actuator) which controls the door lock 32 to lock or unlock the door 3.
[0064] In the case of the Fig. 2 (Only one door lock 32 is present) the door 3 is opened by the electric motor 16 or the upper basket 13 overriding the door lock 32 in its locked position. This automatically unlocks it. However, before the upper basket 13 is activated to open the door 3, it is preferably ensured that the door 3 is also in its closed position. For this purpose, a sensor 35 is used (see Fig. 4 ) provided, which detects the closed position of the door 3. This reduces or prevents the risk of the upper basket 13 extending and, for example, crushing a hand located between its front face 19 and the inside of the door 20.
[0065] In the embodiment according to the Fig. 3 (Door lock 32 with, for example, a wax motor 34 or another actuator) the door opening module 33 is read by the control unit 23. This variant is in the Fig. 4 The dashed line indicates the position of the door. The door opening module 33 provides information about the locked or unlocked position of the door lock 32. Accordingly, in this variant as well, it can be provided that the door is only opened with the help of the upper basket 13 if it is actually in its closed position.
[0066] The Fig. 5 shows an enlarged view V from the Fig. 2 The illustration shows that a damping element or several damping elements 36 (three shown here as an example, but more or fewer are also possible) are provided between the front face 19 of the upper basket 13 and the inside 20 of the door 3. One of the damping elements 36 is, for example, provided at the lower corner 22 of the upper basket 13. The damping elements 36 can, for example, be made of an elastomer. The damping elements 36 dampen an impact between the upper basket 13 and the door 3. Such an impact occurs in particular when the door 3 is pushed open using the upper basket 13. Such an impact can also occur, for example, when the door 3 is closed manually.
[0067] The Fig. 6 shows an enlarged view VI from the Fig. 3 In this case, unlike the other one... Fig. 5 At the lower corner 22 of the upper basket 13, instead of a damping element 36, a first magnet 37 of two magnets 37, 38 of a coupling device 39 is provided. The second magnet 38 of the coupling device 39 is attached in or to the door 3 (in particular to the inside of the door 20). When the magnets 37, 38 come into contact with each other, the coupling device 39 is in the coupled state and allows the door 3 to be closed with the aid of the upper basket 13. This occurs particularly at the predetermined opening angle α. For this purpose, the electric motor 16 actuates the gearbox 17, whereby the upper basket 13 is retracted in the retraction direction E (arrow).
[0068] The Fig. 7 Instead of the damping element 36 at the lower corner 22 of the upper basket 13, a glider 40 is shown. The glider 40 is designed to slide along the inside of the door 20. This also prevents a hard stop between the upper basket 13 and the door 3, and ensures virtually silent sliding between them during the opening movement.
[0069] The Fig. 8 The first velocity-time diagram for the upper basket 13 shows the velocity profile 41 being constantly linear (constant slope). Time is denoted by t and velocity by v. Fig. 9 In contrast, it shows a speed profile of 41', which corresponds to a soft start.
[0070] At each of the Fig. 8 und 9 At the point marked with a cross, the upper basket 13 meets door 3, in which Fig. 9 However, due to the soft start, the speed is reduced. This prevents damage to door 3, especially its metallic inner surface 20.
[0071] Alternatively or additionally, a gentle braking of the upper basket 13 could be provided, especially before it hits the door 3.
[0072] In another embodiment, not shown in detail, the lower basket 12 (see Fig. 13) is also equipped with a drive (not shown). With the aid of the drive, the lower basket 12 in Fig. 13 can also be extended in the extension direction A (arrow) or retracted in the retraction direction E (arrow). The control unit 23 is configured to control the drive 16 such that it first extends the upper basket 13 until the door has an opening angle α, as shown in the figure. Fig. 3 to be seen. The control unit 23 then activates the drive of the lower basket 12 and, with its help, fully opens the door 3, which in the Fig. 3 This is illustrated by the dashed line representing door 3 and the maximum opening angle α max. For example, the angle α in this case is 45°, and the angle α max is 90°.
[0073] Although the present invention has been described using exemplary embodiments, it can be modified in many ways.
[0074] For example, the lower basket 12 can be swung upwards out of the wash container 2 along a curve by means of its associated drive.
[0075] The drive 16 can have a mechanical system, in particular a spring, pneumatics or hydraulics, instead of an electric motor. Verwendete Bezugszeichen
