Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a sanitary fitting, comprising a fitting body mountable on a washbasin, a mixing device arranged in the fitting body, wherein the mixing device has at least one water inlet on its underside and a water outlet on its upper side, a water outlet connected to the water outlet of the mixing device, a soap pump and a soap outlet connected to the soap pump.
[0002] Such a sanitary fitting, which can be mounted on a horizontal surface, is usually connected to a hot and cold water pipe from the underside of the washbasin. A soap reservoir can also be connected to the underside of the sanitary fitting, so that soap or, if necessary, soap foam can be pumped to the soap outlet using the soap pump. Such sanitary fittings are known, for example, from EP 0 818 587 B1 and DE 38 35 738 A1. In these sanitary fittings, however, the soap pump is arranged at such a location within the fitting body that the soap pump is either not accessible at all or only with considerable effort after the sanitary fitting has been mounted on the washbasin.
[0003] GB 2 136 923 A discloses a sanitary fitting in which a pump protrudes from the fitting body. CH707348B discloses a sanitary fitting in which a soap pump is arranged in the spout of the sanitary fitting. DE20103337U discloses a single-lever mixer tap in which a pump is arranged partially within the sanitary fitting.
[0004] The object of the present invention is therefore to eliminate the disadvantages described with reference to the prior art and, in particular, to provide a sanitary fitting which is easier to maintain.
[0005] A solution to this problem is provided by the sanitary fitting having the features of the independent claim. Further solutions and preferred embodiments are specified in the dependent claims and in the description.
[0006] The object is achieved in particular by a sanitary fitting with the features mentioned at the outset, in which the soap pump is arranged within the fitting body above the mixing device. Due to this arrangement of the soap pump within the fitting body above the mixing device, the soap pump is easily accessible even when the sanitary fitting is assembled, and components arranged on top of the sanitary fitting can be removed if necessary in order to access the soap pump. The arrangement of the soap pump above the mixing device also has a further advantage. The distance over which the soap has to be conveyed from the soap outlet of the soap pump to the soap outlet is short, at least when the soap outlet is arranged in an upper region of the sanitary fitting or in the upper region of the fitting body. This short distance between the pump outlet and the soap outlet makes it possible to pump even very small amounts of soap. This is particularly advantageous when lather is generated during the pumping of the soap and conveyed to the soap outlet. To generate lather, a mixing chamber is usually provided in which the liquid soap is mixed with air.
[0007] The above and following directions refer to the sanitary fitting in its mounted position on the washbasin.
[0008] The invention therefore provides that both the mixing device and the soap pump are arranged within the fitting body. The mixing device has, in particular, a cold water inlet and a hot water inlet, to which, in particular, a hot water line or a cold water line can be directly connected.
[0009] The mixing device comprises, in particular, a mixing chamber in which the cold and hot water are mixed. Preferably, a mixing element is provided with which the mixing ratio of hot and cold water can be adjusted. The mixing element is generally operated manually. Alternatively, however, it can also be provided that the mixing element is adjusted, for example, by means of an electric motor.
[0010] In a preferred embodiment, the sanitary fitting comprises a connection block which is arranged in the fitting body, preferably in such a way that the underside of the connection block faces the surface of the washbasin when the sanitary fitting is in the installed position. All of the connections required for mounting the sanitary fitting on the washbasin can therefore be formed in the connection block. For example, the underside of the connection block has, in particular, a cold water connection and a hot water connection. Furthermore, the connection block can have a threaded hole for screwing in a threaded rod, by means of which the sanitary fitting can be clamped to the washbasin in a known manner using a fixing element. In addition, a connection for liquid soap can be provided on the underside of the connection block, to which connection a storage container for liquid soap can be connected. The storage container for liquid soap can therefore be placed below the washbasin and easily replaced when needed.
[0011] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the mixing device is formed within the connection block. For this purpose, a mixing chamber of the mixing device is arranged in the connection block. A mixing element that adjusts the mixing ratio is arranged in the mixing chamber and can be manually operated via an operating element located on the outside of the fitting body. The mixing element is preferably rotatable about a horizontal axis by means of the operating element to adjust the mixing ratio. The mixed water temperature can thus be easily adjusted manually.
[0012] In one embodiment, a receptacle for the soap pump is arranged in the fitting body above the mixing device and in particular above the connection block, into which the soap pump is inserted. The receptacle provides a separate component to which the soap pump and, if applicable, other components of the sanitary fitting are arranged and preferably fixed in the fitting body. Thus, only the receptacle needs to be attached directly to the fitting body, while the soap pump and, if applicable, other components are attached to or in the receptacle and are thus only indirectly attached to the fitting body.
[0013] It can be provided that the receptacle and the connection block are connected to each other via a detachable plug-in connection. The receptacle preferably has positive-locking configurations on its underside that correspond to complementary positive-locking configurations on the top side of the connection block, so that a plug-in connection can be established between the receptacle and the connection block. The receptacle is thus indirectly fastened to the fitting body via the connection block. The receptacle thus forms the basis for a structural unit that can be completely removed from the fitting body upwards.
[0014] The receptacle can, for example, have at least one protruding plug that can be inserted into at least one complementary recess in the connection block. A corresponding fluid line can also be formed coaxially with these plugs / recesses, through which the water (in particular the mixed water from the mixing chamber) flows into corresponding fluid lines of the receptacle and / or the soap flows to the top of the connection block.
[0015] The connection block, in particular, has a soap passage through which liquid soap can flow from the soap connection on the underside of the connection block to the soap pump. In this case, it can be provided, in particular, that the receptacle has a soap line connected to the soap passage. Furthermore, a hose can be provided through which the liquid soap conveyed through the soap passage and / or the soap line reaches a delivery inlet of the soap pump.
[0016] According to the invention, the soap pump is arranged in the fitting body in such a way that it can be replaced from the top. For this purpose, the soap pump can be detachably attached to the fitting body in a suitable manner. However, the soap pump is preferably inserted into the receptacle. For replacement, either the soap pump alone or the receptacle with the soap pump can be removed from the fitting body.
[0017] It can also be provided that a valve is arranged within the fitting body above the mixing device, wherein the valve is fluidically arranged between the water outlet of the mixing device and the water outlet of the sanitary fitting. The valve, which can in particular be actuated by an electric motor, is designed to interrupt or release the water flow from the water outlet of the mixing device to the water outlet. For this purpose, a control system can be provided that controls the valve. Additionally or alternatively, it can be provided that a sensor / switch is formed, the actuation of which switches the valve. The water flow can therefore be easily triggered and / or interrupted by a user, preferably by means of a sensor.
[0018] For easier maintenance, the valve is conveniently arranged in the fitting body so that it can be replaced, so that the valve (similar to the soap pump) is accessible from the top of the sanitary fitting.
[0019] However, it is preferred that the valve is also inserted into the receptacle described above. This means that the receptacle, the valve and the soap pump can be removed from the fitting body or inserted into it as a structural unit. In this case, a water line is formed in the receptacle, which leads from the water outlet of the mixing device to the valve and from there, if necessary, through the receptacle and in particular further lines (such as a hose) to the water outlet, so that the water line can be opened or closed by the valve. It can also be provided that the receptacle, the valve and / or the soap pump are connected to at least one hose, at the end of which the water outlet or the soap outlet is arranged. This means that the soap outlet and the water outlet can also be easily replaced / installed.
[0020] The sanitary fitting preferably has a removable cover on its top, through which the soap pump or the receptacle is accessible. For repair or replacement of the pump and / or valve, the cover, which may optionally include additional functional elements (such as a display and / or control panel), can be removed from the fitting body.
[0021] The invention and the technical environment are explained below by way of example with reference to the figures. They show schematically Figure 1: a perspective view of a sanitary fitting with a partially cut-out fitting body, Figure 2: a sectional view through the sanitary fitting, Figure 3: a further sectional view through the fitting body with a partially cut-out fitting body and Figure 4: the sanitary fitting with a structural unit removed from the fitting body.
[0022] The figures show a sanitary fitting that can be mounted on the surface of a washbasin. The sanitary fitting comprises a fitting body 1. A connection block 12 is arranged in a lower region of the fitting body 1, in which a mixing device 2 is formed.
[0023] As particularly in the Figure 3 As can be seen, the connection block 12 has a cold water inlet 3 for connecting a cold water line and a hot water inlet 4 for connecting a hot water line. The cold water inlet 3 and the hot water inlet 4 are fluidly connected to a mixing chamber 16 formed in the connection block 12.
[0024] A mixing element 17 is arranged in the mixing chamber 16, with which the mixing ratio of hot water and cold water can be adjusted. For this purpose, the mixing element 17 is connected to a manually operable control element 18. The mixed water can exit the mixing chamber 16 through a mixed water outlet 5.
[0025] In addition, a soap passage 14 is formed in the connection block 12, to which a soap storage container can be connected on the underside of the connection block 12.
[0026] A receptacle 10 is arranged in the fitting body 1 above the connection block 12. The receptacle 10 is connected to the connection block 12 via plug connections 13. A soap line 19 is formed in the receptacle 10 and is connected to the soap passage 14 of the connection block 12. A hose 15 is connected to the soap passage 19 and is connected to a delivery inlet of a soap pump 7.
[0027] The receptacle 10 also includes a water line 11, which connects to the water outlet 5 of the mixing chamber 16. A valve 9 is arranged in this water line 11, which can prevent the flow of water from the mixing chamber 16 to a water outlet 6. The receptacle 10 also houses the soap pump 7, whose delivery outlet is connected to a soap outlet 8 via a hose.
[0028] As particularly in the Figure 4As can be seen, the assembly consisting of the holder 10, the soap pump 7, and the valve 9 can be easily removed from the fitting body 1 and replaced if necessary. Thus, all functional elements required for pumping the water and soap can be mounted in or on the holder 10. The soap pump 7 and the other elements can thus be easily replaced from the top of the fitting body 1. In the assembled state, the fitting body 1 is closed by a cover (not shown) on its top.
