Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a plastering strip for arrangement at a building transition, a building transition with such a plastering strip, a method for attaching a plastering strip to a building transition and a method for manufacturing a plastering strip.
[0002] Plastering beads are available in many designs. They are particularly common where a layer of plaster on the exterior surface of a building wall or the reveal of a window or door opening ends, for example, on thermal insulation attached to the exterior surface or reveal in the area of a window or door frame.
[0003] A plastering strip can be used to ensure that the plaster layer does not extend directly to the window or door frame, but rather that the decoupling plastering strip sits in between.
[0004] From EP 1 793 061 B1 a plaster finishing strip according to the preamble of claim 1 is known, in which the sealing against a window frame is effected by means of an expansion strip.
[0005] Alternatively, conventional adhesive or sealing strips can also be used to attach plastering beads to a window or door frame and to seal the building transition.
[0006] From DE 20 2009 010 042 U1 a one-piece sealing or plastering strip for placement at a transition between a component of a building, in particular a window or door frame, a window sill, a beam, a metal connection or a pilaster, and a thermal insulation or a plaster layer is known.
[0007] In practice, it has been shown that there is a need to completely attach the plastering strip to the designated installation location at the building transition, carry out the plastering work, and only then bring the expansion strip into the release state.
[0008] There is also a need to reliably protect adhesive or sealing strips, including expansion strips, from moisture penetrating from the outside during installation.
[0009] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a plastering strip that allows for precise and reliable positioning and fastening in the installation situation, that can be reliably protected from moisture penetrating from the outside, and with which a permanently and reliably sealed building transition can thus be provided.
[0010] Furthermore, a permanently and reliably sealed building transition using such a plastering strip should be provided.
[0011] Furthermore, a simple and practical method for attaching a plastering strip to a building transition, as well as a reliable and cost-effective method for manufacturing a plastering strip, should be specified.
[0012] These tasks are solved by the subject matter of the independent patent claims. Advantageous further developments result from the dependent patent claims.
[0013] A plastering strip according to the invention for arrangement at a building transition between a first building component, in particular a window or door frame, a window sill, a pilaster, a beam or a plinth, and a second building component, in particular thermal insulation and / or a plaster layer on thermal insulation or on a building wall, comprises the features of independent claim 1.
[0014] A plastering strip according to the invention reliably and permanently seals the building transition and protects it from moisture penetration. When installed, the flexible protective lip conceals the expansion strip from the outside.
[0015] In the installation situation of the plastering bead, the flexible protective lip extends from the plastering bead, to which it attaches with its rear end and with which it is integrally connected, for example by extrusion, especially co-extrusion, to the first building component, against which it rests with its tip.
[0016] This means that the flexible protective lip fulfills several functions, namely the function of a protective and sealing lip by protecting and sealing the building transition from rain, driving rain, ingress of moisture, wind and fire, and by protecting the areas behind it of the building transition, the plastering strip and especially the expansion strip against UV radiation and thus from rapid aging and damage.
[0017] In addition, the flexible protective lip fulfills the function of visually concealing the area behind it of the building transition and the plastering strip, in particular the optical concealment of the expansion strip behind it.
[0018] The flexible protective lip is positioned, in particular with its rear end, on the back of the plastering strip and is integrally connected to it.
[0019] The flexible protective lip can be positioned on the back of the base area of the plastering strip.
[0020] If the plastering bead has a separate plastering area that rests against the base area, for example as with a telescopic bead, or that is connected to the base area, the flexible protective lip can be arranged on the plastering area, especially on the back of the plastering area.
[0021] According to the invention, the plastering strip has, in addition to the flexible protective lip, an expansion strip which provides a compressive seal against the first building component and also reliably seals the building transition.
[0022] According to one of the findings underlying the invention, it was previously not possible to provide both a protective lip and an expansion strip for sealing in plastering beads, but at the same time to make it possible to activate the expansion strip only after completion of the plastering work by removing an enclosing area.
[0023] According to a fundamental principle of the present invention, the plastering strip according to the invention can be attached to the desired position at the building transition almost as delivered. The plastering work can then be carried out and completed, and finally, the retaining area, in particular the removable material strip, can be removed safely and easily. This allows the expansion strip to expand and conform to the first building component, and the flexible protective lip can then move into its second position, the contact position with the first building component.
[0024] This results in a double seal, achieved through both the expansion strip and the flexible protective lip, while simultaneously allowing the plastering bead to be installed and plastered in its delivered state, with the expansion strip and the flexible protective lip only being moved into the desired contact positions after completion of the installation and plastering work.
[0025] The expansion strip can be a delayed expansion strip that expands backwards after the removal of the confinement area, in particular the removable material strip, and abuts the first building component.
[0026] According to the invention, the locking area, in particular the removable material strip, not only fulfills the function of holding the expansion strip in its compressed position in the delivery state and releasing it for expansion after removal, and enabling the expansion strip to conform to the first building component, but also the function of holding the flexible protective lip in a first position in the delivery state of the plastering bead and, after removal of the locking area, enabling the flexible protective lip to move into a second position in which it rests against the first building component.
[0027] According to a further aspect of the present invention, the presence of the flexible protective lip at a position on the inside of the expansion strip allows the use of a lower-quality expansion strip, while still fulfilling the technical requirements for a high-quality seal at the building transition. Such a lower-quality expansion strip may, for example, have a lower density and be unimpregnated or less impregnated.
[0028] Another aspect is that the expansion strip can be of high quality. The additional protection provided by the flexible protective lip ensures that particularly high sealing requirements, especially regarding resistance to driving rain, are met, particularly in coastal regions or in high-rise buildings.
[0029] In any case, the UV protection provided by the flexible protective lip against the expansion strip results in a high durability and resistance of the plastering bead and thus in a permanently reliably sealed building transition.
[0030] The plastering area of the plastering strip can be located on the front of the base area.
[0031] The plastering area can be formed in particular from the inside of a plastering leg and from the top of the area of the plastering strip located inside the plastering leg.
[0032] According to a first embodiment, the first position of the flexible protective lip is a holding position and the second position of the flexible protective lip is a functional position. The second position of the flexible protective lip differs in particular from its first position.
[0033] According to a further embodiment, in the first position of the flexible protective lip, the end region of the flexible protective lip is arranged between the confinement area and the expansion strip and extends substantially outwards, and / or substantially parallel to the main extension direction of the expansion strip or a base wall of the base region.
[0034] In the first position of the flexible protective lip, the end area of the flexible protective lip is pressed by the confinement area against the expansion strip, in particular into a slip-proof holding position between the confinement area and the expansion strip, and rests against the confinement area and the expansion strip.
[0035] In the first position, the flexible protective lip can extend outwards from its rear end, where the flexible protective lip attaches to the base area, with its end area.
[0036] After the removal of the confinement area, the flexible protective lip can move from the first to the second position by reversing its direction, in which, viewed from its rear end, its end area extends backwards and inwards to rest against the first building component.
[0037] In this embodiment, the flexible protective lip is housed in its holding position in a particularly space-saving manner, which allows for a relatively low height of the plastering strip in its delivered state.
[0038] The flexible protective lip can be virtually erected by removing the removable material strip and reliably moved into its final functional position.
[0039] The locking area can have a correspondingly recessed receiving area, in particular between a first step between its front locking end and a second, further step, with which the locking area is connected to the base body of the plastering strip, e.g. via a soft material bridge.
[0040] Furthermore, the tip of the flexible protective lip can easily be connected to the removable material strip, especially in the area of the first stage, so that when the removable material strip is removed, the flexible protective lip is moved from its first holding position to its second functional position, and then the connection between the flexible protective lip and the removable material strip is severed / torn.
[0041] This material connection must be adjusted so that it tears when the flexible protective lip has been erected or reversed in direction.
[0042] According to a further embodiment, in the first position of the flexible protective lip, the end region of the flexible protective lip is arranged on a contact section or on a receiving section of the confinement area and extends substantially inwards, and / or substantially parallel to the main extension direction of the expansion strip or a base wall of the base area.
[0043] The contact section or the receiving section of the containment area can, in the delivery state of the plastering strip, in which the containment area is fixed on the plastering strip, be arranged at a width position that lies between the inside of the expansion strip and a connecting bridge to a strip-shaped protective lip.
[0044] In its first position, the flexible protective lip can extend backwards and inwards from its rear end, where it attaches to the base area, to its end. The end may be compressed by the contact section or the receiving section of the enclosure area.
[0045] According to another embodiment, after the removal of the confinement area, the flexible protective lip moves backwards, without reversing direction, from the first to the second position, to rest against the first building component, extending its end area backwards.
[0046] In the first holding position, the flexible protective lip is thus arranged in a contact section or receiving section of the confinement area, in particular of the removable material strip, which extends in particular between a first stage of the removable material strip, which is arranged at the inner end of the expansion strip, and a second stage, at which the removable material strip is connected, in particular via a soft material bridge, to the inner end of the plastering area of the plastering bead.
[0047] Within the receiving area of this flexible material strip, the flexible protective lip is thus securely held in its holding position, but is compressed by it from bottom to top or from back to front.
[0048] When the confinement area is removed, the flexible protective lip, especially its previously compressed end section, expands backwards, and the flexible protective lip assumes its second position, the holding position, in which it rests against the first building component. The flexible protective lip does not reverse its direction during this process.
[0049] The flexible protective lip, especially its tip, can be particularly unconnected to the confinement area, especially the removable material strip.
[0050] According to a further embodiment, in the first position of the flexible protective lip, the end region of the flexible protective lip is arranged in a receiving area of the confinement area and extends substantially outwards, and / or substantially parallel to the main extension direction of the expansion strip or a base wall of the base area.
[0051] The receiving area of the containment zone can be designed as a pocket, extending outwards and / or substantially parallel to the main extension direction of the expansion strip or a base wall of the base area, with an insertion opening which, in the delivery state of the plastering bead where the containment zone is fixed on the plastering bead, is located at a width position that approximately corresponds to the position of the inside of the expansion strip.
[0052] According to another embodiment, after the removal of the confinement area, the flexible protective lip moves, by reversing its direction, from the first to the second position, in which, viewed from its rear end, its end area extends backward and inward to abut the first building component.
[0053] When removing the confinement area, the end section of the flexible protective lip can initially slide out of the receiving area of the confinement area inwards, reversing its direction from outwards to inwards, and can then move backwards into the second position as the end section expands.
[0054] In its holding position, the flexible protective lip is reliably held in the receiving area of the containment area and is not in contact with the expansion strip.
[0055] This is a very advantageous embodiment in which, when the confinement area, in particular the removable material strip, is removed, both the expansion strip is released for expansion and the flexible protective lip is reliably moved from its first holding position to its second functional position.
[0056] Here too, the guiding of the flexible protective lip from its first holding position to its second functional position can be supported by slightly connecting the flexible protective lip to the confinement area / removable material strip at one area of its tip.
[0057] This material connection must be adjusted so that it tears when the flexible protective lip has been erected or reversed in direction.
[0058] According to another embodiment, the flexible protective lip, in the delivery state of the plastering strip, is detachably connected to the enclosure area at its tip, in particular by being lightly attached.
[0059] When the containment area is removed, the flexible protective lip can initially move into the second position. Afterwards, this separable connection, in particular the loose attachment of the flexible protective lip to the containment area, is separated.
[0060] Such a separable connection, in particular a light attachment of the flexible protective lip with its tip opposite the confinement area, ensures, especially in embodiments where a reversal of direction of the flexible protective lip between its first holding position and its second functional position is required, reliable guidance of the flexible protective lip into the second functional position.
[0061] The separable connection must be adjusted in such a way that it breaks when the second functional position is reached and the removable strip of material is moved further away.
[0062] According to another embodiment, the flexible protective lip attaches with its rear end to a section of the base area, at an attachment position between the inside of the expansion strip and the inner end of the base area, in particular at a step formed in between.
[0063] In such an application position, the flexible protective lip is particularly well positioned and can perform its tasks very well.
[0064] The flexible protective lip is designed in such a way that, after the removal of the confinement area, it covers a joint up to the first building component.
[0065] According to another embodiment, the plastering strip on the outside of the expansion strip has an outer wall that defines a receiving space for the expansion strip on the outside.
[0066] The removable material strip can, in particular, in the delivery state of the plastering strip, be locked in place with a locking projection, which is provided especially on the inside of the outer wall.
[0067] According to another embodiment, the removable material strip lies against the underside of the base area, in particular at the inner end of the underside of the base area, or is connected to it or snapped into it.
[0068] According to another embodiment, the removable material strip is connected to the underside of the base area, in particular the inner end of the underside of the base area, via a snap-off material bridge or via a connecting bridge.
[0069] These are particularly reliable designs in which the expansion strip and the flexible protective lip are reliably held in position both when the plastering strip is delivered and during its installation.
[0070] In its second functional position, the flexible protective lip has a slight curvature, viewed from front to back, i.e., inwards towards the first building component.
[0071] According to a further embodiment, the plastering strip in the delivered state has a strip-shaped protective flap for attaching a cover film to its front, which is connected in particular to the underside of the base area, in particular to the inner end of the underside of the base area, via a snap-off material bridge or via a connecting bridge, and / or which in particular has a rear spacer rib.
[0072] According to another embodiment, the break-off material bridge or connecting bridge is designed as a double break-off material bridge or connecting bridge, which connects the plastering strip and the removable material strip with the strip-shaped protective flap.
[0073] A double break-off material bridge or double connecting bridge allows the strip-shaped protective flap and the removable material strip to be detached independently from the plastering bead.
[0074] For example, after the plastering work is completed, the strip-shaped protective flap, along with the protective film applied to it, can be removed and disposed of in a first step. The removable material strip can then be pulled inwards, thereby releasing the expansion strip and moving the flexible protective lip into its second functional position.
[0075] Alternatively, it is also possible to remove the strip-shaped protective flap and the removable material strip from the rest of the plastering bead in one step.
[0076] According to another embodiment, the removable material strip has a stepped profile. A first step can be arranged at the inner end of the expansion strip.
[0077] The removable material strip may have a gripping section projecting inwards beyond the base area, by means of which the removable material strip can be removed from the rest of the base body of the plastering bead. In the delivered state, the gripping section may be concealed by the strip-shaped protective flap when viewed from the front.
[0078] The stepped design of the removable material strip ensures reliable locking to the base of the plastering strip and reliable retention of the flexible protective lip in its holding position.
[0079] The gripping section allows the removable material strip to be reliably gripped and removed from the base of the plastering strip.
[0080] The invention also relates to a building transition with the features of claim 13.
[0081] Such a building transition is reliably and permanently sealed by both the flexible protective lip and the expansion strip. The flexible protective lip protects the expansion strip from the outside and conceals it from view. This type of building transition offers the advantages and features described above with regard to the plaster stop bead, which are not repeated here to avoid repetition.
[0082] The invention also relates to a method for attaching a plaster strip to a building transition with all the features and method steps of claim 14.
[0083] By such a method according to the invention, it is possible to attach a plastering strip of the type described here to the building transition in its delivered state, without having to first release an enclosure area, and to carry out and complete all plastering work, and finally to remove the enclosure area and thereby achieve a double seal through both the expansion strip and the flexible protective lip.
[0084] The process is therefore easy to carry out and results in a particularly reliable and permanently sealed building transition.
[0085] The advantages and embodiments described above with regard to the plastering strip and the building transition also apply to this method. These are not listed again here to avoid repetition.
[0086] The applicant reserves the right to supplement claim 14 of the process by including process steps corresponding to the aforementioned functional features of the plastering strip, as well as structural features of the plastering strip as described above. These are expressly to be considered disclosed with respect to the process.
[0087] The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a plastering strip with the features of claim 15.
[0088] Using such a method, a plastering strip of the type described here can be produced reliably and cost-effectively.
[0089] For the advantages and embodiments of the plastering bead produced in this way, reference is made to the advantages and embodiments given above with reference to the plastering bead. These are not explained again to avoid repetition.
[0090] The applicant reserves the right to supplement manufacturing process claim 15 by including process steps that correspond to the aforementioned functional characteristics of the plastering strip, as well as by structural characteristics of the plastering strip as described above. These are expressly to be considered disclosed with respect to the process.
[0091] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments and the accompanying figures. Figure 1 shows a side view of a plastering strip in its delivered state, according to a first embodiment of the present invention; Figure 2 shows a side view of a plastering strip in the delivered state, according to a second embodiment of the present invention; Figure 3Figure 3(a) shows a side view of a plastering bead in the delivery state, according to a third embodiment of the present invention; Figure 3(b) shows a side view of the plastering bead after plastering and removal of the removable material strip; and Figure 3(c) shows a side view of the plastering bead in the fully installed state, after removal of the removable material strip, with the flexible protective lip and expanded expansion strip in place; Figure 4 shows a side view of the plastering strip Figure 3(a) , after the manufacturing process step of extrusion and before the insertion of the expansion strip into the receiving space of the plastering strip, according to a further embodiment.
[0092] Figure 1 shows a side view of a plastering strip 2 according to a first embodiment of the present invention in the delivery state.
[0093] The plastering strip 2 is intended for arrangement at a building transition between a first building component, which may be designed as a window or door frame, as a window sill, as a pilaster, as a beam, as a base, as a roller shutter guide rail, or as a louver guide rail, and a second building component, which may be designed as thermal insulation and / or as a plaster layer on a building wall.
[0094] A typical installation situation for the plastering strip 2 is in the Figure 3(c) shown
[0095] In the Figures 1 to 4 The terms "front" and "back" are understood to mean above and below in the drawing plane. The terms "inside / left" and "outside / right" are understood to mean to the left and right in the drawing plane.
[0096] The plastering bead 2 has a base area 4 with an expansion strip 20 attached to it, a fixing leg 8, a plastering leg 10 with a reinforcing mesh section 12 attached to it, a plastering area 16, a strip-shaped protective flap 28 and an enclosing area with a removable material strip 38.
[0097] The base area 4 comprises a base wall 6 extending from left to right and a right outer wall 34, in which a step is formed and at the lower end of which a left-facing, i.e., inwardly directed, locking projection 26 for the removable material strip 38 is arranged. At the lower end of the right outer side of the outer wall 34, a pivotable and / or removable fixing leg 8 is attached via a material bridge of reduced material thickness 18 / via a groove 18, and is integrally connected to the outer wall 34.
[0098] Approximately at a width position at one-third to one-half of the total width of the base wall 6, a plastering leg 10 is provided, which projects forward at a right angle from the base wall 6. The inner side of the plastering leg 10, as well as the upper surface of the section of the base wall 6 located inside the plastering leg 10, form the plastering area 16. A groove profile is provided on the surface there, which increases the surface area to which a plaster layer to be applied rests and consequently improves the adhesion of the plaster.
[0099] A reinforcing mesh section 12, which can be designed as a net-like glass fiber fabric, is attached to the plastering leg 10. In the present, non-limiting embodiment, the reinforcing mesh section 12 is attached to the inside of the plastering leg 10 by means of ultrasonic welding.
[0100] A connector projection 24 is arranged a short distance inside the plastering leg 10, projecting forward from the base wall 6. A receiving space for a connector is formed between the connector projection 24 and the plastering leg 10, particularly in its transition area. Such a connector allows plastering strips 2 to be reliably positioned next to each other.
[0101] An expansion strip 20 with delayed expansion is provided on the rear side of the base wall 6 and is attached, in particular, to the underside of the base wall 6, e.g. by gluing.
[0102] In the present, non-restrictive embodiment, the expansion strip 20 is received in a trough-like receiving area, which is bounded on the left by the stepped inner end of the plastering strip 2 and on the right by the outer wall 34, which starts at the outer right end of the base wall 6 and extends perpendicularly to the rear.
[0103] The top of the section of the base wall 6 located to the right of the plaster leg 10 and the right outer side of the plaster leg 10 form a receiving area for thermal insulation or for a base coat of plaster.
[0104] In the present, non-limiting embodiment, the fixing leg 8 is connected to the lower end of the outer wall 34 of the base area 4 by means of a so-called film hinge, i.e. by means of a connecting bridge made of the same material as the base area 4 and the fixing leg 8, but of reduced material thickness.
[0105] This allows the fixing leg 8 to pivot without breakage between a fully upward end position and a fully downward end position.
[0106] By means of the adhesive strip 22 provided on the underside of the fixing leg 8, the fixing leg 8 and thus the entire plastering strip 2 can be attached to the first building component, in particular on the front, as shown in the Figure 3 shown, or attached to their outside (not shown) or to the thermal insulation (not shown).
[0107] The expansion strip 20 is held in its locked state by the locking area. In the present, non-restrictive embodiment, this locking area comprises a removable material strip 38, which is locked with its right outer detent end 40 above the detent projection 26.
[0108] In the exemplary embodiment, the removable material strip 38 has Figure 1a stepped structure. The removable material strip 38 comprises, viewed from right to left, a locking end 40 running parallel to the base wall 6, by means of which the removable material strip 38 is locked onto the locking projection 26; a first step 42, which, in the delivered state of the plastering bead 2, is arranged at a width position at approximately one-third of the width of the expansion strip 20; a receiving section 44, also running parallel to the base wall 6 but set back relative to the locking end 40, for the flexible protective lip 36, which will be explained in more detail later; a second step 46, to which a soft material bridge 30 connects to the plastering edge of the base body of the plastering bead 2 and to the strip-shaped protective flap 28; and a gripping section 48, also running approximately parallel to the base wall 6 but set back further.which has a roughened surface at its left inner end for better grip.
[0109] The strip-shaped protective flap 28 extends inwards from the left, inner end of the base wall 6 and is connected to the end of the plaster edge via a material bridge 30, which can be designed either as a soft material bridge or as a break-off material bridge.
[0110] At the rear of its inner end, the strip-shaped protective flap 28 has a spacer 32 which, when the plastering bead 2 is installed at a building transition, initially rests against the front of the first building component. An adhesive strip can be arranged on the front of the strip-shaped protective flap, to which a protective film can be attached. This film spans the first building component and thus protects it from damage and contamination during the installation and plastering process.
[0111] In the present embodiment, the gripping section 40 of the confinement area 34 is covered from the front by the strip-shaped protective flap 28.
[0112] It should be mentioned at this point that separate material bridges may also be provided between the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and the base wall 6, as well as between the second stage 36 of the removable material strip 38.
[0113] It is also possible to provide only a material bridge between the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and the plastering bead 2 or its plastering area 16, and not to connect the removable material strip 38 to the rest of the plastering bead by means of a material bridge, but to provide a second snap connection between the removable material strip 38 and the base wall 6, or to allow the removable material strip 38 to simply rest against or be glued to any point on the rest of the plastering bead.
[0114] Finally, instead of providing the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and the removable material strip 38 separately, both parts can also be provided in one. This is particularly easy to imagine if one considers the following: Figure 1 imagines the gripping section 48 removed and the material bridge as a connection from the strip-shaped protective flap 28 to the base wall 6 and to the removable material strip 38.
[0115] In the Figure 1 In the delivery state of the plastering strip 2 shown, the removable material strip 38 is locked with its outer locking end 40 against the locking projection 26, and in addition, the soft material bridge 30 between the second stage 46 and the outer pull-off edge of the base body of the plastering strip 2 is intact.
[0116] Thus, the removable material strip 38 is firmly connected to the plastering strip 2. This holds the expansion strip 20 in the compressed state, and also holds the flexible protective lip 36 in the receiving space formed between the receiving section 44 of the removable material strip 38 and the underside of the expansion strip 20 inside the first stage 42 of the removable material strip 38.
[0117] The flexible protective lip 36 is in its holding position. It extends downwards and outwards, i.e., to the right, from its upper end, where it rests against a step between the base wall 6 and the inner plaster edge of the plaster stop bead 2. Its lower end, located near its tip, thus runs parallel to the base wall 6, and its tip rests against the step 42 of the removable material strip 38 or is slightly spaced apart from it.
[0118] The flexible protective lip 36 is made in particular from a plastic material that is softer than the hard plastic material of the base body of the plastering strip 2, especially by means of co- or tri-extrusion.
[0119] The plastering strip 2 is now attached and fastened as follows at a building transition between a first building component and a second building component, in particular a thermal insulation and / or a plaster layer on a thermal insulation or on a building wall.
[0120] For the sake of simplicity, the first building component will be referred to as a window frame, and the second building component as thermal insulation.
[0121] First, the plastering strip 2 is attached to the outside of the window frame (54, in) using the adhesive strip 22. Fig. 3 ) attached, in particular glued on. The plastering strip 2 is thereby inserted into the in Figure 1The product is either inserted into a gap between the thermal insulation and the window frame as shown in the delivery condition, or the plastering strip 2 is first attached to the window frame and then the thermal insulation is inserted.
[0122] In both cases, the thermal insulation is located on the outside of the plastered leg 10 and on the top of the base wall 6 outside the plastered leg 10. A foil is attached to the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and stretched over the window. Subsequently, one or more layers of plaster are applied, penetrating the reinforcing mesh 12, as is known to a specialist.
[0123] Subsequently, either together or sequentially, the strip-shaped protective flap 28 and the removable material strip 38 are removed by cutting through the soft material bridge 30. When the removable material strip 38 is removed, it is Figure 1in the drawing plane, pulled out to the left, i.e., inwards, which can be supported by a pivoting movement. This moves the expansion strip 20 into the state released for expansion, so that it moves backwards, into Figure 1 It can extend downwards in the drawing plane and attach itself to the outer surface of the window frame.
[0124] Furthermore, the flexible protective lip 36 is supported by its Figure 1 in the holding position shown, it moves into its functional position, in which it extends backwards and inwards from its upper point of attachment on the step between the base wall 6 and the inner plaster edge, thus also resting against the window frame.
[0125] This functional position of the flexible protective lip 36 is in Figure 3(c) depicted.
[0126] Moving the flexible protective lip 36 from its holding position into Figure 1 to their functional position in Figure 3(c)This can be supported by the flexible protective lip 36 being detachably connected with its tip, for example, to an area of the first stage 42 of the removable material strip 38, in particular by being lightly attached, for example by a co- or tri-extruded predetermined tear point area.
[0127] When pulling out the removable material strip 38 in Figure 1 In this process, the flexible protective lip 36 is first raised to the left and brought into its functional position, in which it extends backwards and inwards, thereby reversing its direction. As the removable material strip 38 is further pulled out inwards, this separable connection / light attachment of the flexible protective lip 36 to the removable material strip 38 tears, and the flexible protective lip 36 reliably conforms to the outer surface of the window frame.
[0128] The in Figure 2The depicted plastering strip 2 corresponds largely to the plastering strip 2 from [reference missing] with regard to its structure, components and features. Figure 1 .
[0129] Therefore, identical elements are marked with the same reference symbols and will not be explained again below.
[0130] The plastering strip 2 made of Figure 2 differs from the plastering strip 2. Figure 1 with regard to the arrangement of the first stage 42, with regard to the design of the receiving area 44 of the removable material strip 38 and with regard to the holding position of the flexible protective lip 36.
[0131] The removable material strip 38 in turn comprises an outer locking end 40, which, in the delivery state of the plastering bead 2, runs parallel to the base wall 6 and whose outer end is locked against the locking projection 26, a first step 42, which is arranged at the level of the inner end of the expansion strip 20, a recessed receiving section 44, which extends between the first step 42 and the second step 46, at which the removable material strip 38 is connected by means of a material bridge 30 to the plastering edge end of the base body of the plastering bead 2 and to the removable protective tab 28, and the inner gripping section 48, which extends from the gripping section 48 Figure 1 corresponds.
[0132] The receiving section 44 is therefore positioned further inwards and further downwards than in the case of the plastering strip 2. Figure 1 .
[0133] Accordingly, the flexible protective lip 36 is arranged and received in its holding position within the receiving area, which is formed to the right by the first step 42, to the left by the second step 46, downwards by the receiving section 44 of the removable material strip 38, and upwards by the stepped transition of the plastering bead 2 between the base wall 6 and the inner plastering edge end.
[0134] In the holding position of the flexible protective lip 36, which is in Figure 2 As shown, this extends from its rear end, where it engages the stepped transition of the plastering bead 2 between the base wall 6 and the inner plaster edge end, with its tip pointing downwards and inwards. The end region of the flexible protective lip 36 with its tip is thus compressed upwards by the receiving section 44 of the removable material strip 38.
[0135] The installation / assembly of the plastering strip 2 corresponds to the above description, which will not be explained again to avoid repetition.
[0136] When the removable material strip 38 is removed, it is moved to the left, i.e. inwards, in the drawing plane, cutting through the material bridge 30, and the expansion strip 20 is released for expansion, so that its underside rests against the outer surface of the window frame.
[0137] The flexible protective lip 36 also extends downwards with its end area and especially with its tip, without reversing direction, and is moved into its second functional position, in which its tip rests against the outer surface of the window frame.
[0138] This functional position of the flexible protective lip 30 is in Figure 3(c) shown.
[0139] The in Figure 3(a)The plastering profile 2 shown corresponds largely to the plastering profile 2 from [reference missing] in terms of its construction and its components / features. Figure 1 Identical elements are marked with the same reference symbols and are not explained again to avoid repetition.
[0140] The plastering strip 2 made of Figure 3 differs from the plastering strip 2. Figure 1 with regard to the design of the receiving area of the removable material strip 38 and with regard to the holding position of the flexible protective lip 36.
[0141] Unlike the plastering strip 2 made of Figure 1 In its holding position, the flexible protective lip 36 is not located in a receiving area whose upper side is formed by the underside of the expansion strip 20, but in a receiving area that is completely formed by the removable material strip 38.
[0142] For this purpose, the removable material strip 38 has a receiving section which is designed in the form of a horizontal pocket.
[0143] The removable material strip 38 comprises, viewed from right to left, a locking end 40 which runs parallel to the base wall 6 and whose outer end is locked onto the locking projection 26, a step 42 at approximately one-third of the width of the expansion strip 20, a downwardly recessed positioning section 44, a second step 46 at the level of the left, inner end of the plastering area 16, wherein the second step 46 is connected to the inner end of the plastering area 16 and to the strip-shaped protective flap 28 by means of a material bridge 30, and over the gripping section 48, which corresponds to the gripping section 48 described in detail above.
[0144] Additionally, the removable material strip 38, to the left of the first step 42, extending from the locking end 40, has an upper end leg / pocket limiting leg 52 of slightly less thickness than the locking end 40. This upper end leg 52 extends, in the delivered state of the plastering strip 2, which in Figure 3(a) shown, up to the left, inner end of the expansion strip 20.
[0145] The flexible protective lip 36 is arranged with its upper, rear end at the step between the base wall 6 and the pull-off edge end of the base body of the plastering bead 2 and is in particular co-extruded or tri-extruded with the base body of the plastering bead 2.
[0146] The flexible protective lip 36 extends downwards and to the right from there into the receiving area of the flexible material strip 38 and lies with its underside on the lower receiving section 44, its tip can in particular lie against the pocket end or the first stage 42 or be arranged at a slight distance therefrom.
[0147] The installation / assembly of the plastering strip 2 corresponds to the above description, which will not be explained again to avoid repetition.
[0148] When the removable material strip 38 is removed, it is moved to the left, i.e., inwards, in the drawing plane, cutting through the material bridge 30, and the expansion strip 20 is released for expansion so that its underside rests against the outer surface of the window frame, as shown in Figure 3(c) shown.
[0149] The flexible protective lip 36 is thereby protected by its in Figure 3(a) shown holding position in their Figure 3(c) The functional position shown is moved by first sliding inwards out of the receiving area / pocket of the confinement area 38 and then reversing its direction from outwards to inwards, as shown in Figure 3(b) shown.
[0150] This can be supported by connecting the flexible protective lip 36 at its tip or at an area near its tip to the removable material strip 38, in particular in the area of the receiving area / pocket, in particular by attaching it lightly.
[0151] This separable material bond tears, as one can well imagine with reference to Figure 3(b) can imagine, starting from the position in Figure 3(b) the removable material strip 38 is pulled further to the left.
[0152] Finally, after complete removal of the removable material strip 38, the flexible protective lip 36 stands up and assumes its functional position, in which its tip rests against the outer surface of the window frame 54, as shown in Figure 3(c) It is clearly visible.
[0153] In Figure 4 Is the plastering strip 2 made of Figure 3 shown in an intermediate step of the manufacturing process.
[0154] The strip-shaped protective flap 38 and the removable material strip 38 on the material bridge 30 are pivoted clockwise towards the inner end of the plastering area, in particular towards the inner plastering edge.
[0155] In the Figure 4In the position shown, the basic body of the plastering strip 2 with base area 4, plastering area 16, fixing leg 8, plastering leg 10 and with the flexible protective lip 36 together with the strip-shaped protective flap 38 and the removable material strip 38 is extruded.
[0156] The reinforcing fabric section 12 is then attached to the plastering leg 10, for example, by means of ultrasonic welding 14. Access to the receiving area 50 is thus unobstructed from below.
[0157] In the next procedural step, the expansion strip 20 is now inserted from below into the receiving space 50, which is formed to the right by the outer wall 34 and to the left by the stepped transition from the base wall 6 to the plaster edge, and is attached, typically by gluing, to the underside of the base wall 6.
[0158] After inserting and securing the expansion strip 20, the removable material strip 38, together with the strip-shaped protective flap 28, is now inserted counterclockwise into the Figure 3(a) The delivery position shown is pivoted, with the flexible protective lip 36 being inserted into the receiving area / pocket between the upper end leg 52 and the receiving section 44, and with the locking end 40 engaging against the locking projection 26.
