An information processing device and method that determines the orientation or slant of a camera by comparing the photographed sun position with a reference sun position using known camera slant or orientation, without the need for attitude or orientation sensors, and corrects images based on determined camera parameters.
Facilitates camera installation and reduces the number of sensors required by accurately determining camera orientation or slant, improving the accuracy of cloud observation and solar radiation estimation.
Description
[0001] The present disclosure relates to an information processing system (device), method, and program for determining the orientation or slant of a camera used for cloud observation.
[0002] For conventional cloud observation, satellites are mainly used. Since satellites observe clouds from above, they cannot obtain detailed distribution of clouds near the ground. Therefore, an amount and duration of sunlight on the ground cannot be grasped.
[0003] As an alternative to satellites, it is known to use a camera such as a whole-sky camera installed on the ground. It is conceivable that the cameras are installed in measurement zones spaced apart from each other and observe the same cloud using images from a plurality of cameras.[Patent Document 1] WO 2010 / 079557
[0004] In such cloud observation by a plurality of cameras, it is necessary that the orientation and slant of each camera coincide with each other with high accuracy. Further, even in the cloud observation by a single camera, if the orientation and slant of the camera do not coincide with each other accurately, an error is included in the orientation of the cloud reflected in the obtained image. If the orientation of the cloud includes an error, it is difficult to obtain a desired accuracy when the solar radiation amount is estimated based on the movement of the cloud by taking in external data such as wind velocity.
[0005] International Patent Publication No. WO 2010 / 079557 (Patent Document 1) describes a device for detecting the orientation of a camera, but not a whole-sky camera. However, this method requires a deflection camera. US 2017 / 0154233 Al likewise describes determining compass orientation of imagery with a horizontally aligned camera used. The paper by Bryan Urquhart et al.: "Sky camera geometric calibration using solar observations", Atmospheric Measurement Techniques, vol. 9, no. 9, 1 January 2016, pages 4279-4294, XP055829269, DOI: 10.5194 / amt-9-4279-2016 discloses a device for sky camera geometric calibration using solar observations, wherein information further to the solar observations is assumed to be known.
[0006] If an attitude sensor or an orientation sensor is mounted, the orientation and slant of the camera can be obtained, but an extra sensor is required.
[0007] Further, although it is possible to prevent the deterioration of accuracy by carrying out strict orientation alignment and slant alignment when installing the camera, the installation work of the camera becomes troublesome.
[0008] It is an object of the present disclosure to provide an information processing device, method, and program capable of determining the orientation or slant of a camera while facilitating the installation work of the camera and reducing the number of sensors provided in the camera. The object is solved by the subject-matter of the independent claims.

[0010] According to a non-claimed example, if any one of the orientation and the slant of the camera is known, any one of the unknown orientation and the unknown slant of the camera can be determined based on the photographing date and time, the position information of the photographing position (for example, latitude and longitude), and the sun position reflected in the image. Therefore, it becomes unnecessary to align the orientation or the slant when the camera is installed, and it becomes possible to specify the slant or the orientation of the camera without providing an attitude sensor or an orientation sensor.

[0016] In a non-claimed example of the information processing device, the image acquisition module may acquire a plurality of images, and the camera information identification module may determine the unknown slant of the camera by using an average of a difference between the photographed sun position and the reference sun position in the plurality of images.
[0017] The information processing device further includes an image correction module configured to correct the image acquired by the image acquisition module based on the orientation or slant of the camera determined by the camera information identification module into an image to be photographed when the camera has a predetermined orientation and a predetermined slant.
[0018] The information processing device further includes an error information output module configured to output error information of the orientation or slant of the camera based on the orientation or slant of the camera determined by the camera information identification module.
[0019] An information processing method according to the present invention includes the features of claim 5.
[0020] In the information processing method, the slant of the camera is known, and the information processing method compares the photographed sun position with the reference sun position by using the slant of the camera to determine an unknown orientation of the camera.

[0024] In a non-claimed example of the information processing method, the image may be a whole-sky image captured by a whole-sky camera, the reference sun position may indicate the sun position in the whole-sky image when the camera is horizontal and the camera is oriented in a predetermined direction, and the information processing method may determine the photographed sun position when the camera faces the predetermined direction by using the orientation of the camera, and may determine the unknown slant of the camera by comparing the determined photographed sun position with the reference sun position.
[0025] In a non-claimed example of the information processing method, a plurality of images may be acquired, and the information processing method may determine the unknown slant of the camera by using an average of a difference between the photographed sun position and the reference sun position in the plurality of images.
[0026] The information processing method further includes correcting the acquired image based on the determined orientation or slant of the camera to an image to be photographed when the camera has a predetermined orientation and a predetermined slant.

[0029] The illustrated embodiments of the subject matter will be best understood by reference to the drawings, wherein like parts are designated by like numerals throughout. The following description is intended only by way of example, and simply illustrates certain selected embodiments of devices, systems, and processes that are consistent with the subject matter as claimed herein: FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a configuration of an information processing device according to the first embodiment and a second non-claimed example of the present disclosure; FIG. 2 is a flow chart executed by the information processing device of the first embodiment; FIG. 3 an illustration of an image of the sky taken by a horizontally positioned camera with a known slant in the first embodiment; FIG. 4 is an illustration of a sun position in elevation and orientation; FIG. 5 is an illustration of a comparison of the photographed sun position and the reference sun position in the whole-sky image of the first embodiment; FIG. 6 is an illustration of the orientation determination in the case where the slant is non-horizontal and known; FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating correction of an image taken by a camera according to the first embodiment; FIG. 8 is an illustration of an image of the sky taken by a camera of known orientation in the second non-claimed example; FIG. 9 is an illustration of a comparison of the photographed sun position and the reference sun position in the whole-sky image of the first embodiment; and FIG. 10 is a flowchart executed by the information processing device of the second non-claimed example
[0030] An information processing device 1 according to a first embodiment of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to the drawings.
[0031] The information processing device 1 of the first embodiment is used for an observation system. The observation system includes one or more cameras 10 for photographing the sky and a computer for processing images photographed by the cameras 10 . The information processing device 1 acquires an image obtained by photographing the sky with a camera 10 whose slant is known, and determines an unknown direction of the camera as camera information based on the image. The camera 10 for photographing the image acquired by the information processing device 1 may be any camera as long as it can photograph the sky. In this embodiment, a whole-sky camera using a fisheye lens is installed upward in order to photograph a wide area of the sky with one camera. In the example of FIG. 3, since the camera 10 is installed so as to be horizontally upward in a vertical direction, a center P1 of an image G1 obtained from the camera 10 becomes straight up (Elevation angle 90°), and an elevation angle decreases from the center toward the end of the image G1 . The orientation (slant) of the camera 10 is expressed by a roll angle and a pitch angle with respect to a roll axis and a pitch axis orthogonal to each other in a horizontal plane. The orientation of the camera 10 is expressed by a yaw angle with respect to a yaw axis parallel to the vertical direction.
[0032] As shown in FIG. 1, the information processing device 1 of the first embodiment includes an image acquisition module 11 , a photographing time stamp acquisition module 12 , a photographing position acquisition module 13 , a sun position determination module 14 , a reference sun position acquisition module 15 , a preset camera information acquisition module 16 , and a camera information identification module 17 . The respective modules 11 - 17 are realized in cooperation of software and hardware by executing a program previously stored in a memory by a processor 1b in a computer including the processor 1b such as a CPU, a storage 1a such as a memory, various interfaces, etc.
[0033] As shown in FIG. 3, the image acquisition module 11 shown in FIG. 1 acquires the image G1 obtained by photographing the sky by the camera 10 . In the example of FIG. 3, the center P1 of the image G1 is directly above, and clouds (C1 , C2 , C3 ) and the sun (S1 ) are reflected. In the figure, the directions of north, south, east, and west are represented by E , W , S , and N , but the directions are originally unknown in only one image G1 . Incidentally, it is preferable to install the camera 10 while deciding the direction of the camera 10 so that the bottom side of the image photographed by the camera 10 becomes the reference orientation [for example, south (S )]. However, it is conceivable that the installation work of the camera 10 is complicated, an error occurs, or the orientation of the camera 10 cannot be adjusted when the camera 10 is installed on the wall surface of a building.
[0034] The photographing time stamp acquisition module 12 shown in FIG. 1 acquires the photographing date and time of the image G1 acquired by the image acquisition module 11 . The photographing position acquisition module 13 acquires position information (latitude, longitude) of a photographing position of the image G1 acquired by the image acquisition module 11 . The photographing date / photographing time stamp acquisition module 12 and the photographing position acquisition module 13 may acquire the photographing date and time and the photographing position from meta tag data embedded in the image G1 , or may be configured to acquire the photographing date and time and the photographing position based on data from the camera 10. The photographing position acquisition module 13 may be configured to receive a camera identifier (ID) from the camera 10 and acquire an installation position corresponding to the camera ID as the photographing position from the existing camera information database having the installation position of the camera 10 .
[0035] The sun position determination module 14 shown in FIG. 1 determines a photographed sun position S1 indicating the sun position in the image G1 . In this embodiment, since the sun is the strongest light source in the natural world, a coordinate center of the maximum luminance value in the image G1 is determined as the photographed sun position S1 . At this time, in order to improve an accuracy of determining the photographed sun position S1 by reducing the white jump area due to the sun, photographing is performed with less exposure than the exposure at the time of observation used at the time of observation. As a standard, it is preferable to make the whole of the photographed image G1 dark and to make the exposure in which only the sun shines. In order to reduce the exposure, the shutter speed may be made higher during observation, or the aperture value may be made larger than during observation. Another method for identifying the position of the photographed sun is to determine that the sun is a region radially extending from a center point of a pixel group having the maximum luminance in the image G1 , in which the luminance gradually decreases without pulsation as the distance from the center point increases, and in which the pulsation of the luminance starts. Of course, the method of determining the sun is not limited to this, and various methods may be employed.
[0036] The reference sun position acquisition module 15 shown in FIG. 1 calculates a reference sun position indicating the position of the sun determined based on the photographing date and time and position information (latitude and longitude). It is known that the position (elevation angle α and orientation angle β ) of the sun can be determined based on the photographing date and time and position information (latitude and longitude) by using astronomy. The reference sun position may be expressed in the manner shown in FIG. 4 or in the manner shown in FIG. 5. The reference sun position shown in FIG. 4 is expressed by an elevation angle α and an orientation angle β with respect to a reference orientation (for example, north) with the photographing position where the camera 10 is installed as a center. The reference sun position B1 shown in FIG. 5 is the position of the sun in the whole-sky image G1 when the camera 10 is horizontal and the camera 10 is oriented in a predetermined direction. The predetermined direction is, for example, a desired orientation in which the bottom side of the photographed image G1 is south. In this embodiment, the expression at the reference sun position B1 in the whole-sky image G1 shown in FIG. 5 is adopted.
[0037] The preset camera information acquisition module 16 shown in FIG. 1 acquires known camera information of the camera 10 . In the present invention, a known slant of the camera 10 is acquired. As shown in FIG. 1, the preset camera information acquisition module 16 may acquire data on slant from the known camera information stored in the storage 1a , or may acquire data on slant from the camera 10 . All the cameras 10 have the same slant.
[0038] The camera information identification module 17 shown in FIG. 1 determines an unknown direction of the camera 10 based on the known slant of the camera 10 , the photographed sun position S1 , and the reference sun position B1 . As shown in FIG. 5, the camera information identification module 17 compares the photographed sun position S1 with the reference sun position B1 by using the known slant (horizontal) of the camera 10 to determine the unknown orientation of the camera 10 . Specifically, as shown in the figure, the camera information identification module 17 determines the photographed sun position S1 when the camera 10 is horizontal by using the known slant of the camera 10, and determines the unknown orientation of the camera 10 by comparing the determined photographed sun position S1 with the reference sun position B1 . In the example of FIG. 5, since the camera 10 is originally installed horizontally, the photographed sun position S1 in the image G1 captured by the camera 10 can be used as it is. An example in which the camera 10 is not horizontal will be described below using the example of FIG. 6. In FIG. 5, the difference θ between the orientational angles of the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 is determined, whereby it is determined that the orientational angle of the camera 10 is deviated from a predetermined orientational angle (desired orientation).
[0039] In the example of FIGs. 3 - 5, the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 show the position of the sun in the whole-sky image G1 photographed together, and both positions are compared in the image, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, (1) an angle error θ with respect to a predetermined orientation (desired orientation) of the orientation of the camera 10 may be calculated by comparing the photographed sun position S1 indicating the position of the sun in the image with the reference sun position indicated by the elevation angle α and the orientation angle β . (2) The angle error θ may be calculated by converting the photographed sun position S1 in the image G1 into the photographed sun position indicated by the elevation angle α and the orientation angle β and comparing the converted photographed sun position with the reference sun position indicated by the elevation angle α and the orientation angle β . (3) The angle error θ may be calculated by comparing the photographed sun position indicated by the elevation angle α and the orientation angle β with the reference sun position B1 in the whole-sky image G1 .
[0040] In the above processing, although the orientation (angle error θ ) of the camera 10 is calculated using one image G1 , in order to improve the accuracy of determining the orientation (angle error θ ), the following structure is preferable. That is, the image acquisition module 11 acquires a plurality of images G1 . The camera information identification module 17 calculates the angle error θ with respect to the predetermined orientation (desired orientation) of the camera 10 by using an average of a difference (angle error θ ) between the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 in each image of the plurality of images G1 . Alternatively, the camera information identification module 17 may calculate the angle error θ by comparing the trajectory of the photographed sun position S1 in each image G1 with the trajectory of the reference sun position B1 in each image G1 .
[0041] Here, the processing when the known slant of the camera 10 is not horizontal will be described. As shown in FIG. 6, the photographing position acquisition module 13 acquires a photographed sun position S0 from the image G1 acquired by the image acquisition module 11 . The slant of the camera 10 for photographing the image G1 is not horizontal but is determined by a roll angle and a pitch angle. Next, the camera information identification module 17 determines the photographed sun position S1 when the camera 10 is horizontal by using the known slant of the camera 10 . Here, the photographed sun position S0 in the image G1 determined by the sun position determination module 14 is corrected to the photographed sun position S1 when the camera 10 is horizontal. In FIG. 6, not only the photographed sun position is corrected (S0 to S1 ), but also the photographed image G1 is corrected to an image G2 photographed in the horizontal state by the camera 10 . Thereafter, as described with reference to the example of FIG. 5, the camera information identification module 17 compares the corrected photographed sun position S1 with the reference sun position B1 to determine an unknown orientation of the camera 10 .
[0042] As shown in FIG. 1, the information processing device 1 may be provided with an image correction module 18 . The image correction module 18 can be omitted. On the basis of the camera information (orientation or slant) determined by the camera information identification module 17 , the image correction module 18 corrects the image G1 acquired by the image acquisition module 11 as shown in FIG. 7 to an image G3 photographed when the camera 10 has a predetermined orientation (desired orientation) and a predetermined slant. In FIG. 7, correction is performed so that the bottom side of the image G3 becomes, for example, the south. If the image correction module 18 is provided, when images from the plurality of cameras 10 separated from each other are acquired and clouds or the like are observed, the orientation of the images from each camera can be matched, and the observation accuracy can be improved.
[0043] As shown in FIG. 1, an error information output module 19 may be provided in the information processing device 1 . The error information output module 19 can be omitted. The error information output module 19 outputs error information on the orientation or slant of the camera 10 based on the camera information (orientation or slant) determined by the camera information identification module 17 . Output methods include display on a display, audio output from a speaker, output of data including error information, and transmission.
[0044] An information processing method executed by the system 1 will be described with reference to FIG. 2.
[0045] First, in step ST100 , the image acquisition module 11 acquires an image G1 obtained by photographing the sky with a camera 10 whose slant is known. Next, in step ST101 , the photographing date / photographing time stamp acquisition module 12 acquires a photographing date and time of the image G1 . In step ST102 , the photographing position acquisition module 13 acquires position information of a photographing position of the image G1 . Steps ST101 and ST102 are out of order before step ST104 . In step ST103 , the sun position determination module 14 determines a photographed sun position S1 indicating the sun position in the image G1 . Step ST103 can be executed after step ST100 . In step ST104 , the reference sun position acquisition module 15 calculates a reference sun position B1 indicating the position of the sun determined based on the photographing date and time and the position information. In the next step ST105 , the camera information identification module 17 determines an unknown orientation of the camera 10 based on the known slant of the camera 10 , the photographed sun position S1 , and the reference sun position B1 .
[0046] The information processing device 1 of the first embodiment specifies the orientation of the camera 10 based on the image G1 photographed by the camera 10 whose slant is known. On the other hand, the information processing device 1 of the second non-claimed example specifies the slant of the camera 10 based on the image G4 taken by the camera 10 having a known orientation. The block diagram of the information processing device 1 of the second non-claimed example is the same as that of FIG. 1.
[0047] As shown in FIG. 1, the preset camera information acquisition module 16 of the second non-claimed example acquires the known orientation of the camera 10 . As shown in FIG. 1, the information on the orientation of the camera 10 may be stored in the storage 1 a as known camera information, or data on the orientation may be acquired from the camera 10 .
[0048] The image acquisition module 11 shown in FIG. 1 acquires an image G4 taken by the camera 10 having a known orientation. In the example shown in FIG. 7, the image G4 photographed from the camera 10 installed so that the bottom side of the image G4 becomes the south direction is acquired.
[0049] The reference sun position acquisition module 15 shown in FIG. 1 calculates the reference sun position B1 indicating the position of the sun determined based on the photographing date and time and the position information (latitude and longitude), as in the first embodiment. FIG. 7, like FIG. 5, illustrates the reference sun position B1 , which is the position of the sun in the whole-sky image G1 when the camera 10 is horizontal and the camera 10 is oriented in a predetermined direction.
[0050] The camera information identification module 17 shown in FIG. 1 determines an unknown slant of the camera 10 based on the known orientation of the camera 10 , the photographed sun position S1 , and the reference sun position B1 . In the example of FIG. 9, the camera information identification module 17 determines the photographed sun position S1 when the camera 10 faces the reference orientation (direction in which the bottom side of the image is the south) using the known orientation of the camera, and compares the determined photographed sun position S1 with the reference sun position B1 to determine the unknown slant of the camera 10 . In FIG. 9, the unknown slant (Roll angle and pitch angle) of the camera 10 is calculated based on a distance and direction between the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 .
[0051] In addition, the functions and processes described in the first embodiment can be applied to the second non-claimed example as they are, except for the difference that the known information of the camera 10 is the orientation and the unknown information is the slant. For example, the image correction module 18 corrects the image G4 acquired by the image acquisition module 11 based on the camera information (slant) determined by the camera information identification module 17 into an image photographed when the camera 10 is at a predetermined slant and a predetermined orientation. The error information output module 19 outputs error information on the slant of the camera 10 with respect to the predetermined slant based on the camera information (slant) determined by the camera information identification module 17 .
[0052] An information processing method executed by the information processing device 1 of the second non-claimed example will be described with reference to FIG. 10.
[0053] First, in step ST200 , the image acquisition module 11 acquires an image G4 obtained by photographing the sky with a camera 10 having a known orientation. Next, in step ST201 , the photographing date / photographing time stamp acquisition module 12 acquires a photographing date and time of the image G4 . In step ST202 , the photographing position acquisition module 13 acquires position information of a photographing position of the image G4 . Steps ST201 and ST202 are out of order before step ST204 . In step ST203 , the sun position determination module 14 determines the photographed sun position S1 indicating the sun position in the image G4 . Step ST203 can be executed after step ST200 . In step ST204 , the reference sun position acquisition module 15 calculates the reference sun position B1 indicating the position of the sun determined based on the photographing date and time and the position information. In the next step ST205 , the camera information identification module 17 determines an unknown slant of the camera 10 based on the known orientation of the camera 10 , the photographed sun position S1 , and the reference sun position B1 .
[0054] As described above, the information processing device 1 according to the first embodiment or the second non-claimed example includes: an image acquisition module 11 configured to acquire an image (G1 , G4 ) obtained by photographing the sky with a camera 10 having a known orientation and / or slant; a photographing time stamp acquisition module 12 configured to acquire a photographing date and time of the image (G1 , G4 ); a photographing position acquiring module 13 configured to acquire position information of a photographing position of the image (G1 , G4 ); a sun position determination module 14 configured to determine a photographed sun position S1 indicating a sun position in the image (G1 , G4 ); a reference sun position acquisition module 15 configured to calculate a reference sun position B1 indicating a position of the sun determined based on the photographing date and time and the position information; and a camera information identification module 17 configured to determine any one of unknown orientation and slant of the camera 10 , based on any one of known slant and orientation of the camera 10 , the photographed sun position S1 , and the reference sun position B1 .
[0055] An information processing method according to the first embodiment or the second non-claimed example includes: acquiring an image (G1 , G4 ) obtained by photographing the sky with a camera 10 having a known orientation and / or slant (ST100 , ST200 ); acquiring a photographing date and time of the image (G1 , G4 ) (ST101 , ST201 ); acquiring positional information of a photographing position of the image (G1 , G4 ) (ST102 , ST202 ), determining a photographed sun position S1 indicating a sun position in an image (G1 , G4 ) (ST103 , ST203 ); calculating a reference sun position B1 indicating the position of the sun determined based on the photographing date and time and the position information (ST104 , ST204 ); and determining any one of the unknown orientation and slant of the camera 10 based on any one of the known orientation and slant of the camera 10 , the photographed sun position S1 , and the reference sun position B1 (ST105 , ST205 ).
[0056] According to this configuration, if any one of the orientation and slant of the camera 10 is known, any one of the unknown orientation and slant of the camera can be determined based on the photographing date and time, the positional information of the photographing position (latitude and longitude), and the sun position reflected in the image G1 or G4 . Therefore, it becomes unnecessary to align the orientation or the slant when the camera 10 is installed, and the slant or the orientation of the camera 10 can be determined without providing an attitude sensor or an orientation sensor.
[0057] As in the first embodiment, the slant of the camera 10 is known, and the camera information identification module 17 preferably uses the known slant of the camera 10 to compare the photographed sun position S1 with the reference sun position B1 to determine an unknown orientation of the camera 10 .
[0058] According to this configuration, the unknown orientation of the camera 10 can be determined.
[0059] As in the first embodiment, the image G1 is a whole-sky image captured by the whole-sky camera 10 , the reference sun position B1 indicates the sun position in the whole-sky image when the camera 10 is horizontal and the camera 10 is directed in a predetermined direction, and the camera information identification module 17 preferably determines the photographed sun position S1 when the camera 10 is horizontal by using the slant of the camera 10 , and compares the determined photographed sun position S1 with the reference sun position B1 to determine the unknown orientation of the camera 10 .
[0060] According to this configuration, since the whole-sky image includes information of orientation angle and elevation angle, and since the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 are compared when the camera 10 is horizontal and directed in the predetermined direction, the unknown orientation of the camera can be determined by processing the coordinates in the image G1 without converting them into other coordinate systems than the image.
[0061] As in the first embodiment, it is preferable that the image acquisition module 11 acquires the plurality of images G1 , and the camera information identification module 17 determines the unknown orientation of the camera 10 by using the average of the difference between the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 in the plurality of images G1 .
[0062] According to this configuration, since the average of the difference between the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 is used, it becomes resistant to noise and the accuracy of determining the orientation can be improved.
[0063] As in the second non-claimed example, the orientation of the camera 10 is known, and the camera information identification module 17 preferably uses the orientation of the camera 10 to compare the photographed sun position S1 with the reference sun position B1 to determine an unknown slant of the camera 10 .
[0064] According to this configuration, the unknown slant of the camera 10 can be determined.
[0065] As in the second non-claimed example, the image G4 is a whole-sky image captured by a whole-sky camera, and the reference sun position B1 indicates the sun position in the whole-sky image when the camera 10 is horizontal and the camera 10 is facing a predetermined direction, and the camera information identification module 17 preferably uses the direction of the camera 10 to determine the photographed sun position S1 when the camera 10 is facing the predetermined direction, and compares the determined photographed sun position S1 with the reference sun position B1 to determine the unknown slant of the camera 10 .
[0066] According to this configuration, since the whole-sky image includes information of orientation angle and elevation angle, and since the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 are compared when the camera 10 is horizontal and directed in the predetermined direction, the unknown slant of the camera can be determined by processing the coordinates in the image G4 without being converted into a coordinate system other than the image.
[0067] As in the second non-claimed example, it is preferable that the image acquisition module 11 acquires the plurality of images G4 , and the camera information identification module 17 determines the unknown slant of the camera 10 by using the average of the difference between the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 in the plurality of images G4 .
[0068] According to this configuration, since the average of the difference between the photographed sun position S1 and the reference sun position B1 is used, it becomes resistant to noise and the accuracy of determining the slant can be improved.
[0069] The program according to the present embodiment is a program for causing a computer to execute the method. A computer readable temporary recording medium according to a further non-claimed example stores the program.
