Abstract
Description
[0001] The drawer according to the invention has a base plate, a panel, a back wall and two side walls which are firmly connected to each other.
[0002] There are also drawers where the side panels don't extend to the top edge of the drawer front and back. Often, the front panels are connected to the end of the drawer side panels using special fittings, which allow the drawer front to be aligned using special fittings.
[0003] From the document AT 506 783 A4 a drawer is known whose side walls do not reach up to the upper edge of the front panel and the rear wall and whose front panel can be adjusted in its inclination by means of a railing rod arranged between the front panel and the rear wall, in the area of their upper edges. For this purpose a connecting element that connects the railing rod to the front panel can be rotated via two opposing threads so that the inclination of the front panel can be adjusted and wherein the railing rod can be connected to a rear wall by means of locking projections arranged on the railing rod, which lock into locking receptacles on the facing side of the rear wall. The disadvantages here appear to be the mechanically complex construction and the fact that the front-side connecting element can be covered by a cover cap that can be moved on the railing rod and is visually very conspicuous, or can be exposed to operate the connecting element for adjusting the inclination.
[0004] From the publication WO 2012 / 092631 A1, a drawer is also known whose side walls do not reach the top edge of the front panel or rear wall. In this case, the railing rod is connected to the front panel by means of a connecting element that can be connected to the railing rod and fully inserted into it. The connecting element can be spread and thus fixed in a hole in the front panel. To connect it to the front panel, the connecting element is pivoted 90° relative to the railing rod, whereby it has its minimum diameter. After being inserted into the front panel, the railing rod is pivoted back 90°, whereby it has its maximum diameter. The railing rod is connected to the area of the rear wall facing the railing rod by means of clip elements.
[0005] The object of the invention is to achieve an adjustment of the panel using considerably simpler means in a drawer in which the side walls do not reach the upper edge of the panel and the rear wall.
[0006] The stated problem is solved by the features of claim 1.
[0007] An advantageous further development of the drawer can be found in the subclaim.
[0008] The connecting element facing the panel protrudes on the front side of the side wall profile section by an amount that is smaller than the thickness of the drawer panel, whereby the connecting element closes the front opening of the side wall profile section.
[0009] The side wall profile section has a recess for a removable locking attachment adjacent to the closed end face.
[0010] The recess has a stop edge that determines the end unscrewing position of the locking projection.
[0011] The housing of the connecting element can be inserted into the side wall profile section in the area of the rear wall, flush with the front side of the side wall profile section.
[0012] The connecting element can be extended to a limited extent in a sleeve in the area of the housing and can be screwed into a threaded hole following the sleeve, whereby the end of the connecting element is designed as a threaded bolt.
[0013] The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, showing an embodiment of a drawer according to the invention. They show: Fig. 1 the basic structure of the drawer according to the invention in perspective seen from the back of the drawer, Fig. 2 the basic structure of the drawer according to Fig. 1 in perspective from the panel, Fig. 3 the end of a side wall profile section facing the panel and the rear wall with a connecting element 16 and the end of the side wall profile section with a connecting element 15 assigned in the area of the rear wall, Fig. 4 - 6 the connecting element 16 facing the rear of the panel 11, which can be inserted into the side wall profile section 13 and secured therein by means of a housing 26, Fig. 7 - 9 the connection between the panel and the side wall profile section in various positions, Fig. 10 - 12 the connection between the side wall profile section and the rear wall in the various positions, Fig. 13 - 16 the side wall profile section connected to the rear wall in various settings towards the panel or towards the rear wall, Fig. 17 - 19 the connecting element 15 between the side wall profile section 13 and the rear wall 14 in various settings.
[0014] The Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of the basic structure of a drawer according to the invention, seen from the rear of the drawer. The drawer consists of a base plate 10, a panel 11, a rear wall 14 at the free rear end of the base plate 10, and two side walls 12, which, however, do not extend to the upper edges of the panel 11 and the rear wall 14. Therefore, there is sufficient space to firmly connect the panel 11 and the rear wall 14 via two side wall profile sections 13. For this purpose, a connecting element 16 is provided on the panel 11 side and a connecting element 15 is provided on the rear wall 14 side, which are arranged at the ends of the side wall profile sections 13, as shown in FIG. Fig. 3 shows.
[0015] The Fig. 2 shows the basic structure of the drawer Fig. 1 in perspective, seen from aperture 11.
[0016] How Fig. 3 shows, the connecting element 16 protrudes as a bolt on the end face 18 of the side wall profile section 13 by an amount that is smaller than the thickness of the panel 11. If a hole of appropriate depth is drilled into the rear of the panel 11, the connecting element 16 can be inserted and thus connected to the panel 11. The connecting element 16 is rotatably mounted in a housing which has a recess facing the rear of the panel 11. By turning the connecting element 16, a locking projection 24 in the housing 26 is turned and screwed out via a recess in the side wall profile section 13 and screwed and locked into a locking receptacle on the facing rear of the panel 11. This allows the side wall profile section 13 to be firmly connected to the closed end face 18 of the housing of the connecting element 16 flush with the back of the panel 11 and to be adjusted to various angular positions of the panel 11.The recess of the sidewall profile section 13 has a stop edge that limits the rotational movement of the locking projection 24 and thus limits the adjustment of the locking projection into the locking receptacle on the rear side of the panel 11. The connecting element 16 is rotatably mounted in the housing.
[0017] In the Fig. 4 bis 6 The connecting element 16 is shown with a housing 26 that can be inserted into the side wall profile section 13. The housing 26 can be provided with locking cams that engage holes in the side wall profile section 13 and secure the connecting element 16 therein. The bolt-like connecting element 16 protrudes from the closed end face 22 of the housing 26 by an amount that fits into a space by which the side wall profile section 13 is set back from the plane of the side wall 12 of the drawer. The connecting element 16 is provided with a threaded bolt 19 at its end and is screwed into a threaded hole in the housing 26. Furthermore, after this screw connection has been loosened, the connecting element 16 can be withdrawn to a limited extent from the sleeve in the housing 26. The housing 26 closes the front opening of the side wall profile section 13 with a plate. In addition, a cover 22 can be folded out in the housing 26, which is supported on the side wall profile section 13 and covers the recess of the side wall profile section 13.
[0018] The Fig. 7 bis 9 show the various settings of the connection between the side wall profile section 13 and the back of the panel 11, whereby in particular the rotatable locking projection 24 and the cover 22 covering this locking projection 24 are shown.
[0019] The Fig. 10 shows the assembly position of the side wall profile section 13 relative to the rear wall 14. The side wall profile section 13 has a housing (not shown) on which locking lugs are firmly formed, which protrude from the housing and engage in locking receptacles on the facing side of the rear wall 14 of the drawer. In the area of the locking lugs, the side wall profile section 13 therefore has a corresponding recess, from which the locking lugs are led out of the side wall profile section 13. The front side of the housing bears offset locking lugs 13.1 and 13.2, whereby the locking lug 13.2 can be inserted into the locking receptacle 14.1 of the rear wall 14. The side wall profile section 13 is then rotated as Fig. 11 and the locking projection 13.1 is inserted into the locking recess 14.2 of the rear wall 14 and locked. Fig. 12 the connection of the side wall profile section 13 with the rear wall 14 is shown.
[0020] From the flush basic setting to Fig. 13 the connecting element 15 can be adjusted into an extended position A, whereby the side wall profile section 13 is adjusted towards the rear wall 14, as Fig. 14 By turning the connecting element 15 in direction B, the adjustment towards the rear wall 14 can be increased, which is shown by the arrow D in Fig. 15 indicates.
[0021] If the direction of rotation on the connecting element 15 is reversed, as Fig. 16 , then the side wall profile section 13 is adjusted in the direction E toward the panel. Since the panel 11 is firmly connected to the side wall profile section 13, the adjustment is transferred to the panel 11 in the same way.
[0022] How Fig. 17 shows, the connecting element 15, which is designed as a connecting screw, is mounted on an adjusting bolt 17 and is inserted into a housing 20 and can be screwed into a threaded receptacle in the housing 20. The locking elements 13.1 and 13.2 are formed on the housing 20. The housing 20 is inserted into the side wall profile section 13 and held therein. By rotating the connecting element 15, the adjustment towards the panel 11 or the rear wall 14 can be carried out. The locking projections 13.1 and 13.2 are fixed in the locking receptacles 14.1 and 14.2 of the rear wall 14, as already Fig. 14 bis 16 can be seen.
[0023] This connecting element 15 allows the side panel profile section 13 to be adjusted to a position that is transferred to the drawer's front panel 11 via the connecting element 16. This allows for a much simpler adjustment of the drawer's front panel setting. Furthermore, the connecting element 15 remains accessible at all times, allowing the front panel setting to be changed at any time.
