Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a drawer pull-out guide comprising: a first guide rail and at least one second guide rail, which are mounted displaceably relative to one another in a longitudinal direction of the guide rails between a closed position and an open position, at least one guide body mounted between the guide rails, by means of which the guide rails can be guided in a lateral direction relative to one another in an assembled position of the drawer pull-out guide.

[0002] Lateral stability is a relevant quality criterion for drawer pull-out runners, whereby lateral stability can usually be improved by specially shaped guide rails and / or rollers for lateral guidance of the guide rails. However, the lateral stability of a drawer pull-out runner decreases significantly the further a drawer is pulled out relative to a furniture carcass. When the drawer pull-out runner is fully extended, force is exerted on the extended guide rail, resulting in leverage forces that increase lateral play between the guide rails or tilting of the guide rails about an axis running in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails. This lateral play of the extended drawer increases even further with increasing overall width of the drawer. However, excessive lateral play in the drawer pull-out runner gives a person a rather inferior impression.

[0003] Measures to improve the lateral stability of containers are shown, for example, in EP 1 321 094 A1, EP 1 323 372 A2, US 4,315,661 and US 4,119,377.

[0004] The object of the present invention is to provide a drawer pull-out guide of the type mentioned at the outset while avoiding the disadvantages discussed above.

[0005] This is achieved according to the invention by the features of patent claim 1. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.

[0006] According to the invention, it is provided that at least one of the guide rails has at least one projection which, in the open position of the guide rails, rests against the at least one guide body, so that at least in that region in which the at least one guide body and the at least one projection rest against one another, the guide rails are arranged with no play relative to one another in the lateral direction.

[0007] In other words, in the fully extended position of the drawer pull-out guide, at least one guide body mounted between the guide rails rests against a projection of the guide rails, so that at least in this area lateral play between the guide rails is inhibited by the play-free contact of the guide body with the projection.

[0008] The at least one guide body can be mounted either on one of the guide rails or, alternatively, on a carriage arranged between the guide rails. However, two or more guide bodies can also be provided, with at least a first guide body mounted on one of the guide rails and at least a second guide body mounted on a carriage displaceably mounted between the guide rails. When the drawer extension guide is in the extended state, the first guide body and the second guide body are each laterally supported on a projection of a guide rail.

[0009] Preferably, the at least one guide body is rotationally symmetrical and mounted for rotation about an axis extending vertically in the assembled position. In principle, the guide body could also be designed as a non-rotatable support part, which can be supported without play on a projection of a guide rail when the drawer slide is fully extended.

[0010] In a structurally simple embodiment, the at least one projection can be formed in the form of an embossed portion on one of the guide rails, wherein the projection can be manufactured as a component integrally formed with the guide rail by pressing an embossing die into a flat surface of a guide rail. Alternatively, it is possible to attach the projection to a guide rail (e.g., by screwing or gluing).

[0011] According to the invention, at least two or more guide bodies are mounted between the guide rails, which are spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails, wherein, in the open position of the guide rails, the first guide body rests without play against a first projection of the guide rails and the at least one second guide body rests without play against a second projection of the guide rails. Due to the at least two guide bodies spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction, which, in an open position of the drawer extension guide, rest against two spaced-apart projections of the guide rails, the lateral play along a direction running in the longitudinal direction of the guide rails can be significantly reduced.

[0012] According to one embodiment, it can be provided that the first guide body can be moved past the second projection, preferably while forming a gap, during a movement of the guide rails from the closed position into the open position, and that the first guide body can be brought into clamping engagement with the first projection during a continued movement of the guide rails in the direction of the open position.

[0013] In this way, the friction of the drawer slide is not increased despite the stabilization, because the first guide element initially moves past the second projection without contact when the drawer slide is opened and only engages with the first projection without play when the drawer slide is fully open. To enable this function, the first projection and the second projection have different heights.

[0014] Further details and advantages of the present invention are explained in the following description of the figures. In the following: Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a piece of furniture with a furniture body and drawers mounted so as to be movable relative thereto. Fig. 2 shows a drawer pull-out guide with a second guide rail which is to be connected to a drawer side wall. Fig. 3a-3c shows the drawer pull-out guides in an exploded view as well as two enlarged detailed views thereof. Fig. 4a-4c shows the drawer pull-out guide in a lying position as well as two enlarged detailed views thereof.

[0015] Fig. 1 shows a piece of furniture 1 with a cabinet-shaped furniture body 2, wherein drawers 3 are mounted so as to be movable relative to the furniture body 2 via drawer pull-out guides 4. The drawers 3 each have a front panel 5, a drawer base 6, drawer side walls 7 and a rear wall 8. The drawer pull-out guides 4 each comprise a third guide rail 9 (body rail), which is to be fastened to the furniture body 2 via fastening sections 12a, 12b, a second guide rail 10 (drawer rail) which is mounted so as to be movable relative to the third guide rail 9 and which is connected or is to be connected to the drawer side wall 7, and a first guide rail 11 (center rail), which is mounted so as to be movable between the third guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10 in order to realize a full extension of the drawer 3.

[0016] Fig. 2 shows an arrangement with a drawer pull-out guide 4 and with a drawer side wall 7 in a perspective view. The fastening sections 12a, 12b connected to the third guide rail 9 have one or more fastening points 13, 14 for fastening to the furniture body 2. A movable first guide rail 11 is arranged between the third guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10. A coupling element 21 is arranged on the second guide rail 10 and can be releasably coupled to a driver 20 of a retraction device 18, so that the second guide rail 10 is gripped by the driver 20 towards the end of the closing movement and can be retracted into a closed end position by a force accumulator of the retraction device 18. This spring-supported retraction movement of the second guide rail 10 can be braked down to the closed end position by a damping device 19, preferably with a hydraulic piston-cylinder unit.

[0017] The drawer side wall 7 is designed as a hollow chamber profile with an inner profile wall 7a and an outer profile wall 7b spaced from the inner profile wall, wherein the drawer side wall 7 forms a downwardly open channel 17 extending in the longitudinal direction of the drawer side wall 7, in which channel the second guide rail 10 of the drawer extension guide 4 can be arranged. The drawer side wall 7 further has a first fastening device 15a for connecting to the rear wall 8, a second fastening device 15b for connecting to the front panel 5, and a support part 16 for supporting the drawer bottom 6.

[0018] Fig. 3a shows the drawer pull-out guide 4 in an exploded view. The third guide rail 9 is to be attached to the furniture body 2 via the fastening sections 12a, 12b and has a substantially U-shaped or C-shaped section in which a first carriage 25a and a second carriage 25b are mounted to control a movement of the drawer pull-out guide 4. The second guide rail 10 has a hook 22 at the rear end, which, in the assembled position, is received in a bore in the rear wall 8 and prevents displacement of the drawer 3 in the longitudinal direction (L) and in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction (L).A displaceable first guide rail 11 is provided between the third guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10. A third carriage 25c is movable between the first guide rail 11 and the second guide rail 10. The third carriage 25c is coupled in motion to the first carriage 25a, for example, via a gear rotatably mounted on the first guide rail 11. The carriages 25a, 25b, 25c each have a plurality of rolling elements 26 spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction (L) and having a horizontal axis of rotation.

[0019] In the exemplary embodiment shown, the second guide rail 10 has at least one guide body 23a, which is mounted in the rear half of the guide rail 10 with respect to the longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rail 10. The at least one guide body 23a is rotationally symmetrical and is mounted so as to be rotatable about an axis 30 which runs vertically in the assembled position. The first guide rail 11 has a preferably vertically running side web 11a, on which at least one projection 24a (for example in the form of an embossed portion) is arranged. When the second guide rail 10 moves in the direction 27 of the open position, the at least one guide body 23a reaches the projection 24a and, in the open position, rests against the first projection 24a without play.In this way, the guide rails 10, 11 are fixed to one another without play in a lateral direction transverse to the longitudinal direction (L), at least in the area in which the at least one guide body 23a and the at least one projection 24a abut one another. In the figure shown, two guide bodies 23a, 23b in the form of rollers are provided on the second guide rail 10, which are spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction (L), and which, in the assembled position, are each rotatably mounted about a vertically extending axis. In the fully open position of the drawer pull-out guide 4, the first guide body 23a abuts the first projection 24a and the second guide body 23b abuts the second projection 24b without play, so that the lateral play between the guide rails 10, 11 along a direction running in the longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rails is reduced.

[0020] The projections 24a, 24b protrude transversely from the side web 11a of the first guide rail 11 in the lateral direction and are spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction (L) of the guide rails 9, 10, 11, for example in the front half of the first guide rail 11. The projections 24a, 24b can each have two ramps 31a, 31b ( Fig. 4b, Fig. 4c ) so that the guide bodies 23a, 23b of the second guide rail 10 can move onto the projections 24a, 24b and move away from the projections 24a, 24b without an interfering abutting edge.

[0021] According to the invention, the first projection 24a has a greater height than the second projection 24b. In this way, when the second guide rail 10 moves from the closed position, preferably while forming a gap, the first guide body 23a can move unhindered past the lower second projection 24b, whereupon the first guide body 23a can be brought into engagement with the first projection 24a without play in the open position, and the second guide body 23b also comes into contact with the second projection 24b without play in the open position of the second guide rail 10 (for example due to a larger diameter of the second guide body 23b and / or due to an arrangement of the second guide body 23b offset transversely to the longitudinal direction (L) relative to the first guide body 23a).

[0022] Furthermore, a third projection 24c and a fourth projection 24d are provided on the first guide rail 11, which are spaced apart from one another along the longitudinal direction (L) and offset in the longitudinal direction (L) from the first and second projections 24a, 24b. These third and fourth projections 24c, 24d are each provided to come into play-free contact with a guide body 23c, 23d mounted on the carriages 25a, 25b when the drawer extension guide 4 is in the fully open position, thus reducing the lateral play between the third guide rail 9 and the first guide rail 11.

[0023] Fig. 3b shows the Fig. 3a Enlarged view of the circled area "A". The guide body 23c mounted on the carriage 25a is rotatable about an axis 30 that runs vertically in the assembled position and, when the drawer extension guide 4 is fully open, rests against the third projection 24c of the first guide rail 11 without play. The carriage 25a has a slot 29 for receiving the side web 11a of the first guide rail 11.

[0024] Fig. 3c shows the Fig. 3a Enlarged view of the circled area "B". The guide body 23d mounted on the carriage 25b is also rotatable about an axis 30 extending vertically in the assembled position and, in the fully open position of the drawer extension guide 4, rests against the fourth projection 24d of the first guide rail 11 without play.

[0025] Fig. 4a shows the drawer pull-out guide 4 in a lying position, wherein the drawer pull-out guide 4 is in the fully open position and the first and second guide bodies 23a, 23b each rest on their associated projections 24a, 24b without play and thus lateral play between the first guide rail 11 and the second guide rail 10 is inhibited. In In the open position, the third and second guide rails 9, 10 overlap in an area, with the first guide body 23a and the second guide body 23b being located within this area.

[0026] Fig. 4b shows the Fig. 4a Enlarged view of the circled area "A". In the open position of the second guide rail 10, the first guide body 23a rests against the first projection 24a without play. The projection 24a can have at least one ramp 31a, 31b, which facilitates the guide body 23a's movement onto and off the projection 24a. Fig. 4c shows the Fig. 4a circled area "B" in an enlarged view, wherein the second guide body 23b rests against the second projection 24b without play in the open position of the drawer pull-out guide 4.

[0027] The drawer pull-out guide 4 can therefore - as shown in the figures - have at least three guide rails 9, 10, 11 mounted so as to be displaceable relative to one another, wherein the third guide rail 9 is to be fastened to a furniture body 2 and the second guide rail 10 to a drawer 3, wherein the first guide rail 11 is displaceably mounted between the third guide rail 9 and the second guide rail 10. At least one guide body 23a, 23b, 23c, 23d can be mounted between the third guide rail 9 and the first guide rail 11, and at least one further guide body 23a, 23b, 23c, 23d can be mounted between the first guide rail 11 and the second guide rail 10.
