Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a rotary fitting for a door leaf comprising a supporting fitting part and a fitting part rotatable about a pivot bearing of the supporting fitting part, according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] Turn fittings for door leaves, especially for cabinet doors, are known in a wide variety of forms. Turn fittings of this type are described in JP 2005 120573 A. Further turn fittings are described in JP 2006 037420 A, JP H07 76968 A, EP 2 468 993 A1, AU 3825572 A, and DE 102019128245 B3. With increasing demands on the functionality and appearance of furnishings such as cabinets and the like, the demands on the fittings also rise. In interior design, and especially in the kitchen area, there is a strong demand for high-quality furnishings using premium materials and a clear design language. Ideally, there should be no limits to the design, particularly regarding the size of the cabinets and the finish of the surfaces, for example, using materials such as natural stone. On the one hand, there is the requirement for maximum functionality, such as easy opening and closing of boxes, and on the other hand, the requirement for precise workmanship and assembly, whereby the horizontal and vertical visible edges of a group of boxes run parallel to each other, thus creating a homogeneous joint pattern. With the increasing size and weight of built-in components such as boxes and the like, these requirements can hardly be met with conventional fittings.
[0003] The aim of the invention is therefore to provide a rotary fitting for door leaves that meets the requirement of the highest functionality and allows for precise processing and assembly.
[0004] These objectives are achieved by the features of claim 1. Claim 1 relates to a pivot fitting for a door leaf with a supporting fitting part and a fitting part rotatable about a pivot bearing of the supporting fitting part, wherein the supporting fitting part comprises a frame part and an adjusting part mounted in the frame part, wherein the adjusting part has a support projecting from the frame part, at the free end of which the pivot bearing is arranged, wherein the rotatable fitting part is designed as a right-angled fitting part, which is articulated to the pivot bearing with a first leg and whose second leg has a fastening section for fastening to the door leaf and moves from a first position, in which the first leg is arranged between the pivot bearing and the frame part and the second leg extends at a right angle to the support, to a second position,in which the first leg forms an extension of the support and the second leg runs on the opposite side of the support at a right angle to the support, is rotatable, and the frame part is designed as a receiving pocket into which the adjusting part can be inserted in an insertion direction and in which the adjusting part is adjustable relative to the frame part parallel to the insertion direction and perpendicular to the insertion direction. According to the invention, it is proposed that the adjusting part is formed by a base body and an insert part which can be positively inserted into the base body perpendicular to the insertion direction, wherein the base body is adjustable on the insert part perpendicular to the insertion direction, and a side wall plate is attached to an inner wall of the receiving pocket, which has a retaining tab projecting into an insertion opening of the receiving pocket.with which the insert part of the adjusting part can be screwed to at least one fastening screw guided parallel to the insertion direction, and the insert part is adjustable relative to the retaining tab by an adjusting screw guided parallel to the insertion direction. The rotary fitting according to the invention first enables the frame part to be mounted in the body of a box, for example in a rebate or groove of the body, wherein the frame part of a first rotary fitting is arranged in an upper area of the body and the frame part of a second rotary fitting in a lower area of the body. The adjusting part, which can be inserted into the frame part, has a support projecting from the frame part, at the free end of which the pivot bearing is arranged, to which the rotatable fitting part is articulated. The rotatable fitting part is designed as a right-angled fitting part. The first leg of the hinge is positioned between the pivot bearing and the frame member in a first position and forms an extension of the support in a second position. The first leg is thus rotatable by 180°, with the first position corresponding to a closed position of the hinge and the second position to an open position. The second leg, which serves for attachment to the door leaf, runs at a right angle to the support in the first position and at a right angle to the support on the opposite side in the second position. The expression "at a right angle to the support" is to be understood as a right angle to a longitudinal axis of the support. In the first position, the door leaf closes a box opening, and in the second position, the door leaf lies next to the box opening, rotated by 180°.
[0005] The pivoting movement occurs around a rotation axis that, compared to conventional pivot fittings, is positioned relatively far in front of the frame. For easy opening and closing, even of large and heavy door leaves, and for a homogeneous joint appearance, it is essential that the rotation axis is precisely aligned vertically. Therefore, according to the invention, the frame is designed as a receiving pocket in which the adjustment element is mounted adjustable relative to the frame parallel to and perpendicular to the insertion direction. This adjustable mounting, parallel to and perpendicular to the insertion direction, allows the rotation axis of two pivot fittings arranged one above the other to be set in two Cartesian directions, thus ensuring the parallel alignment of horizontal and vertical visible edges.Due to the relatively far forward position of the pivot axis, comparatively small adjustment movements already result in changes to the position of the pivot axis and thus precise adjustability. The insertion direction will generally be essentially horizontal. If the proposed adjustment of the bearing perpendicular to the insertion direction is also horizontal, adjustment in the vertical direction is preferably also proposed, as will be explained below.
[0006] According to a specific structural embodiment, the invention proposes that the adjusting element is formed by a base body and an insert part that can be positively engaged in the base body perpendicular to the insertion direction, wherein the base body is adjustably held on the insert part perpendicular to the insertion direction. This embodiment allows for independent adjustability in the insertion direction and perpendicular to the insertion direction, wherein the base body and the insert part are jointly adjustable in the insertion direction due to the positive engagement of the insert part in the base body, and the base body is adjustable relative to the insert part perpendicular to the insertion direction when the insert part is stationary.
[0007] For the adjustability of the insert part – in which, due to the positive locking of the insert part in the base body, the base body also moves together with the insert part in the insertion direction – the invention proposes that a side wall plate is attached to an inner wall of the receiving pocket. This side wall plate has a retaining tab projecting into an insertion opening of the receiving pocket. The insert part of the adjustment element can be screwed to this retaining tab with at least one fastening screw guided parallel to the insertion direction. The insert part is adjustable relative to the retaining tab by means of an adjusting screw guided parallel to the insertion direction. It can also be provided that the fastening screw guided parallel to the insertion direction has a lock nut received in an undercut of the insert part.
[0008] One embodiment of the adjustability perpendicular to the insertion direction provides, for example, that the base body of the adjusting element can be fixed perpendicular to the insertion direction by at least two fastening screws and can be adjusted perpendicular to the insertion direction by an adjusting screw, also perpendicular to the insertion direction. The two fastening screws are held in the side panel. The adjusting screw may have a nut that is received in a slot in the side panel.
[0009] Furthermore, it is proposed that the base body have a projection extending in the insertion direction, which is held between two fixing screws traversing the mounting pocket and secured by these screws in a direction perpendicular to and perpendicular to the insertion direction. The forces exerted by the door leaf on the support and the adjustment element can be transferred to the frame and thus to the body via this projection and the two fixing screws. This design therefore relieves the load on the fastening screws, which are perpendicular to the insertion direction and with which the adjustment element is screwed to the side panel. The fixing screws, however, still allow the adjustment element to be moved both in the insertion direction and perpendicular to it.If the adjustability of the adjusting part is realized in a horizontally oriented insertion direction and in a direction perpendicular to it horizontally oriented, the fixing screws fix the adjusting part in a vertical direction.
[0010] If the adjustability of the adjusting element is achieved in a horizontally oriented insertion direction and in a direction perpendicular to it, it proves advantageous if the rotatable fitting element is adjustable on the carrier in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the pivot bearing. Thus, the rotating fitting can be adjusted and therefore set in three Cartesian spatial directions. The adjustable mounting of the rotatable fitting element can be achieved, for example, by forming the pivot bearing with a rotating sleeve rotatably mounted on the carrier. The rotatable fitting element can be screwed to this sleeve with a fastening screw parallel to the axis of rotation and adjusted in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation with an adjusting screw also parallel to the axis of rotation.
[0011] The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment and the accompanying figures. These figures show the Fig. 1a an exploded view of an embodiment of a rotary fitting according to the invention, Fig. 1b the compound swivel fitting according to the Fig. 1a , Fig. 2a a view of the swivel fitting of the Fig. 1b Viewed in the insertion direction Fig. 2b a view of the swivel fitting of the Fig. 1b Viewed perpendicular to the insertion direction, Fig. 2c a view of the swivel fitting of the Fig. 1b seen from above, and the Fig. 2d an enlarged view of "Detail A" of the Fig. 2a with the aperture removed.
[0012] First, attention will be drawn to the Fig. 1a and 1bReference is made to the following. The rotary fitting comprises a frame part 1, which is designed as a U-shaped curved plate part and has two lateral slots. The frame part forms a receiving pocket with an insertion opening opposite the bend of the U-shaped curved plate part, into which an adjustment part 2 can be inserted in an insertion direction R. The adjustment part 2 comprises a base body 2a and an insert part 2b, which can be positively inserted into the base body 2a perpendicular to the insertion direction R, wherein the base body 2a is adjustable on the insert part 2b perpendicular to the insertion direction R. Furthermore, a side wall plate 3 is provided, which is attached to an inner side wall of the frame part 1 by means of three fixing screws F1, F2, F3.The adjusting element 2 can subsequently be attached to the side wall plate 3 by means of two fastening screws 4s guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R, such that it is fixed perpendicular to the insertion direction R. The two fastening screws 4s guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R, as well as one of the fixing screws F1, cross elongated holes 6a, 6b, 6c of the adjusting element 2, in order to allow movement of the adjusting element 2 in the insertion direction R even when the base body 2a is fixed perpendicular to the insertion direction R. The adjusting element 2 also has a threaded bore 7, which is crossed by an adjusting screw 5s guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R. This adjusting screw 5s, guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R, is provided with a nut 8, which is received in a receiving slot 9 of the side wall plate 3 extending in the insertion direction R.This in turn allows the adjusting part 2 to move in the insertion direction R, even if the base body 2a is fixed perpendicular to the insertion direction R.
[0013] The side wall plate 3 further features a retaining tab 10 projecting into the insertion opening of the receiving pocket, to which the insert part 2b of the adjusting part 2 can be screwed with a fastening screw 4p guided parallel to the insertion direction R. For this purpose, the fastening screw 4p, guided parallel to the insertion direction R, has a lock nut 11 received in an undercut 12 of the insert part 2b. Furthermore, an adjusting screw 5p, guided parallel to the insertion direction R, is provided, which crosses a bore in the retaining tab 10 and can be screwed into a threaded bore in the insert part 2b, so that the insert part 2b, and thus also the base body 2a, can be adjusted relative to the retaining tab 10 parallel to the insertion direction R when the fastening screw 4p is loosened.
[0014] The base body 2a of the adjusting element 2 also has a projection 13 extending in the insertion direction R, which is received between the two fixing screws F2, F3 that cross the receiving pocket and is fixed by these fixing screws F2, F3 in a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction R and vertically to the insertion direction R, thus in the illustrated embodiment in a vertical direction. The projection 13 is received by an adjusting receptacle 14, which is also designed as a U-shaped bent plate section and is crossed by the fixing screws F2, F3. The adjusting receptacle 14 prevents the adjusting element 2 from tilting during the adjustment movement by means of the adjusting screw 5s, which is guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R.
[0015] The adjusting part 2 further comprises a support 15 projecting from the frame part 1, at the free end of which the pivot bearing 16 of the swivel fitting is arranged. The pivot bearing 16 is formed by a rotary sleeve 17 rotatably mounted on the support 15, to which the rotatable fitting part 18 can be screwed with a fastening screw 4v guided parallel to the axis of rotation D. Furthermore, an adjusting screw guided parallel to the axis of rotation D (in the Fig. 1a (not apparent) provided, with which the rotatable fitting part 18 can be adjusted in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation D when the fastening screw 4v is loosened.
[0016] The rotatable fitting 18 is designed as a right-angled fitting, with a first leg articulated to the pivot bearing 16 and a second leg having a mounting section for attachment to the door leaf. In the illustrated embodiment, the attachment to the door leaf is effected by means of two screws 19. The rotatable fitting 18 can be rotated from a first position, in which the first leg is arranged between the pivot bearing 16 and the frame part 1 and the second leg extends at a right angle to the support 15, to a second position, in which the first leg forms an extension of the support 15 and the second leg extends at a right angle to the support 15 on the opposite side of the support 15. Fig. 1b The rotary fitting is shown in its first position. The front of the rotary fitting is covered by a cover plate 20.
[0017] Based on the Fig. 2a-2d The adjustability of the swivel fitting will be explained in more detail. Fig. 2a This first shows a view of the swivel fitting seen in the insertion direction R, in which the three fixing screws F1, F2 and F3 as well as the axis of rotation D are particularly visible. The placement of these fixing screws F1, F2 and F3 can also be seen in the Fig. 2b The diagram shows a view of the rotary fitting perpendicular to the insertion direction R. Two rear fixing screws F2 and F3 cross the frame part 1 and the adjustment mount 14 and can be screwed to the frame part 1 and the side panel 3. The side panel 3 is thereby attached to the frame part 1, but the adjustment mount 14 is movable along the longitudinal axes of the two rear fixing screws F2 and F3. An upper fixing screw F1 can also be screwed to the frame part 1 and the side panel 3, but crosses the frame part 1 and the base body 2a of the adjustment part 2, for which the base body 2a has an upper elongated hole 6a. Furthermore, the diagram shows... Fig. 2b The two fastening screws 4s, which are guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R, are visible and with which the base body 2a can be fixed perpendicular to the insertion direction R. The two fastening screws 4s, which are guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R, cross the two lower elongated holes 6b, 6c of the base body 2a in order to still allow movement of the adjusting part 2 in the insertion direction R when the base body 2a is fixed perpendicular to the insertion direction R. In the Fig. 2b Furthermore, the adjusting screw 5s, which runs perpendicular to the insertion direction R, is visible. It crosses the threaded bore 7 of the base body 2a, and its nut 8 is received by the receiving slot 9. The fastening screws 4s and the adjusting screw 5s, which also run perpendicular to the insertion direction R, are located within the frame part 1 but are accessible via the insertion opening. To adjust the position of the door leaf perpendicular to the insertion direction R ("left / right"), the two fastening screws 4s, which run perpendicular to the insertion direction R, must first be loosened. Subsequently, the position of the base body 2a, and thus of the support 15 for the door leaf, can be changed and adjusted perpendicular to the insertion direction R using the adjusting screw 5s, which also runs perpendicular to the insertion direction R.Once the desired position is reached, the two fastening screws 4s, which are guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R, are tightened again.
[0018] In the Fig. 2b Furthermore, the fastening screw 4p, which runs parallel to the insertion direction R, is visible, and with which the insert part 2b can be attached to the retaining tab 10 projecting into the insertion opening of the receiving pocket. The retaining tab 10 is also shown in the Fig. 2d The mounting screw 4p, which runs parallel to the insertion direction R, has a lock nut 11 that is received in an undercut 12 of the insert part 2b. The adjusting screw 5p, which runs parallel to the insertion direction R, is also visible. It passes through a bore in the retaining tab 10 and can be screwed into a threaded bore in the insert part 2b. To adjust the position of the door leaf parallel to the insertion direction R ("forward and backward"), the mounting screw 4p, which runs parallel to the insertion direction R, must first be loosened. Subsequently, the insert part 2b, and thus also the base body 2a of the adjusting part 2, can be adjusted relative to the retaining tab 10 parallel to the insertion direction R using the adjusting screw 5p, which runs parallel to the insertion direction R. Once the desired position is reached, the mounting screw 4p, which runs parallel to the insertion direction R, is tightened again.
[0019] In the Fig. 2c The position of the adjustment receptacle 14 within the frame part 1 is particularly evident, as is how the extension 13 is received by the adjustment receptacle 14. The extension 13 is received between the two fixing screws F2, F3 which cross the receiving pocket and is fixed by these fixing screws F2, F3 in a vertical direction (see also Fig. 2b The adjustment mount 14 prevents the adjustment part 2 from tilting during the adjustment movement by means of the adjusting screw 5s, which is guided perpendicular to the insertion direction R.
[0020] In the event that the adjustability of the adjusting element 2 is realized in a horizontally oriented insertion direction R and in a horizontally oriented direction perpendicular to it, it proves advantageous if the rotatable fitting element 18 is adjustably mounted on the carrier 15 in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation D of the pivot bearing 16. Thus, the rotating fitting can be adjusted and therefore set in three Cartesian spatial directions. The adjustable mounting of the rotatable fitting element 18 can be realized, for example, by forming the pivot bearing 16 with a pivot sleeve 17 rotatably mounted on the carrier 15, to which the rotatable fitting element 18 can be screwed with a fastening screw 4v guided parallel to the axis of rotation D and with an adjusting screw guided parallel to the axis of rotation D (in the Fig. 1 and 2 (not apparent) is adjustable in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation D.
[0021] The adjustability of the pivot fitting allows it to be aligned with the spatial orientation of the door leaf, thus ensuring parallel alignment of horizontal and vertical visible edges. This results in a homogeneous appearance of the joints between the boxes in a box assembly. Furthermore, it ensures smooth opening and closing of the door leaf.
[0022] The invention thus provides a rotary fitting for door leaves that meets the requirements of the highest functionality and allows for precise processing and assembly.
