Abstract
Description
Hintergrund
[0001] The present invention relates to a hand-operated self-defense device. Stand der Technik
[0002] Document US 2012 / 005796 shows a glove-like hand protector comprising a cover made of a flexible textile material that at least partially covers the back of the hand and the palm of the hand, and which contains an insert. The insert consists of a cushion made of a soft, flexible material, such as foam, resting on the back of the hand or the palm of the hand, and a rigid, bar-like element made of a metallic material, such as aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, or impact-resistant PVC. The insert is received in a slot in the cover, with the rigid, bar-like element projecting beyond the slot.
[0003] Using the glove-like hand protection, even a weaker person can fend off a physical attack by an attacker, as the attacker feels surprisingly strong pain even with a light defensive blow, and the attacked person can use this element of surprise to escape. However, the fact that an attack and a corresponding defensive reaction have occurred cannot necessarily be proven beyond doubt at a later point in time. Due to the elongated, rounded shape of the bar-like element, at best non-specific bruises can form on the surface of the attacker's skin. These bruises cannot be clearly attributed to an attack or defense situation, but can also result from other blows to which the affected part of the attacker's body may have been subjected before or after the attack.
[0004] A further disadvantage can be seen in the restriction of the mobility of the fingers of the hand, which is associated with glove-like devices. US 1,333,792 A discloses a protective and gripping device that is not designed as a glove. However, this previously known protective and gripping device is likely intended for use with gloves, as it is used to facilitate the handling of logs, pieces of ice, and the like. To protect against injuries and / or cold, this device is worn with a glove. Therefore, the bar-shaped support plate element, which carries a plurality of tip elements arranged in a row, is located at the level of the finger area of the hand. Individual mobility of the fingers is not possible when wearing this protective and gripping device. A gripping device for filleting fish is shown in document US 4,615,078 A, which is wrapped around the index finger of a hand.An improved protective and gripping device is shown in US 6244639 B1. This protective and gripping device is used to provide improved grip on ice. This protective and gripping device comprises a rectangular support plate element fastened to the palm of the hand by means of strap elements, which has spike elements long enough to penetrate the ice surface. For this application, it is advantageous if the spike elements are located in the area of the ball of the hand or the edge of the hand so that this protective and gripping device can still be used even in the event of a fall. However, this protective and gripping device is not suitable for use as a self-defense device, as the position of the spike elements is not optimally selected for optimal transmission of an impact force.
[0005] Document WO2021 / 024228 A1 describes a glove equipped with a wide variety of defense features for defense in a wide variety of situations. It also contains features for documenting an attack (camera) and for securing evidence, i.e., for securing tissue cells, such as skin cells, pieces of hair, blood, or other bodily fluids of an attacker. However, the actual striking elements are located on the outside of the fingers, i.e., they are used when the attacked person defends themselves with punches. However, if the person wishes to fend off an attacker to escape danger, they would reflexively turn the palms of their hands toward the attacker. Therefore, this device is not ideal for an attacked person who intends to defend themselves by pushing the attacker away.It has also proven disadvantageous that the use of this glove in practice, due to the many different options, can require repeated training in order to be able to correctly use the optimal means of defense within the shortest possible time in an emergency and to effectively fend off the attack. Aufgabe der Erfindung
[0006] The object of the invention is to develop a hand-operated self-defense device by means of which simple, intuitive self-defense is possible without any training effort, while at the same time a deterrent is possible through the installation of an integrated evidence-preserving device. Beschreibung der Erfindung
[0007] The object of the invention is achieved by a hand-operated self-defense device according to claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the hand-operated self-defense device are the subject of claims 2 to 14.
[0008] When the term "for example" is used in the following description, this term refers to exemplary embodiments and / or embodiments, which is not necessarily to be understood as a more preferred application of the teachings of the invention. Similarly, the terms "preferably" and "preferably" are to be understood as referring to one example from a set of exemplary embodiments and / or embodiments, which is not necessarily to be understood as a preferred application of the teachings of the invention. Accordingly, the terms "for example," "preferably," or "preferably" can refer to a plurality of exemplary embodiments and / or embodiments.
[0009] The following detailed description contains various embodiments of the hand-operated self-defense device. The description of a specific hand-operated self-defense device is to be considered exemplary only. In the description and claims, the terms "include," "comprise," and "have" are interpreted as "including, but not limited to."
[0010] According to the invention, the hand-operated self-defense device includes a first band element for attachment to the palm of a hand, a second band element for attachment to the wrist of the hand, a connecting element for connecting the first band element to the second band element, and a defense element connected to the connecting element or the first band element. The defense element includes a support plate element containing a plurality of tip elements arranged on the support plate element such that a surface is spanned by the tip elements. The support plate element is arranged on the connecting element such that it is designed to rest on the palm of a hand. The support plate element has a circular or oval surface.
[0011] If the support plate element has a circular or oval surface, it rests on the palm of the hand without being perceived as restrictive. In particular, the fingers remain free, so the mobility of the hand is only slightly restricted.
[0012] The tip elements are designed such that they extend beyond the support plate element, i.e., they protrude from the support plate element. The tip elements are directed away from the surface of the hand, i.e., they are located on the side of the support plate element opposite the surface of the hand.
[0013] The tip elements can be designed, for example, as conical or pyramid-shaped tip elements. In particular, the tip elements can be designed as spike-shaped tip elements.
[0014] According to one embodiment, the tip elements have an annular arrangement on the support plate element. According to one embodiment, the tip elements are distributed on the surface of the support plate element according to a pattern. According to one embodiment, the tip elements are distributed randomly on the surface of the support plate element.
[0015] At least one of the tip elements contains an opening.
[0016] The defense element can be designed in particular to rest on the palm of a hand; according to an embodiment not shown, it can also be designed to rest on the back of a hand.
[0017] According to one embodiment, the defense element contains an evidence-preserving device for collecting evidence. In particular, the evidence-preserving device can contain an adhesive. The adhesive can contain an adhesive. The evidence-preserving device can be designed as an adhesive surface, i.e., as a surface containing an adhesive. By means of the adhesive, possible evidence, for example, tissue cells, skin flakes, blood, or hair of the attacker, are fixed to the evidence-preserving device, enabling later identification of the attacker, for example, by means of DNA analysis. According to one embodiment, the defense element comprises a rough surface. For example, the surface roughness can be increased by a plurality of grooves on the surface. According to one example, the grooves are designed as channels, in particular zigzag-shaped channels. The rough surface, especially the grooves or channels, allows evidence to adhere particularly well to the defense device.
[0018] According to one embodiment, the evidence preservation device can be formed by at least one of the tip elements or can be mounted on a tip element. For example, at least one of the tips of the tip element can have a cavity in which evidence can be received. Alternatively or additionally, at least one of the tip elements can be provided with an adhesive.
[0019] According to one embodiment, the tip elements contain a metal, for example, aluminum, titanium, iron, glass, plastic, or a composite material, for example, a plastic containing glass fibers or carbon fibers. According to one embodiment, at least the tip elements can contain polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). In particular, the support plate element can contain PMMA. Particularly preferably, the tip elements and the support plate element can be made of PMMA.
[0020] According to one embodiment, the tip elements can be covered with a cover. The cover can be easily removed at any time without any time consuming effort, or it can fall off immediately upon impact or blow, allowing the hand-operated self-defense device to be deployed at any time without delay.
[0021] At least one of the first and second band elements may contain a flexible material that can adapt to the shape of the wearer's hand. For example, at least one of the first and second band elements may contain a textile material or be made of a textile material.
[0022] According to one embodiment, at least one of the first and second band elements contains an extensible material. In particular, at least one of the first or second band elements can contain an elastomer.
[0023] According to one embodiment, the overall length of at least one of the first or second strap elements is adjustable, i.e., adaptable to the size of the hand. In particular, at least one of the first or second strap elements can contain a plurality of hole elements or recesses that can be selected depending on the size of the hand.
[0024] According to one embodiment, the second strap element contains a locking mechanism for securing the self-defense device to the wrist. According to one embodiment, the first strap element contains a locking mechanism for securing the self-defense device to the palm of the hand. In particular, the hole elements or recesses can be configured to engage an engagement element of the corresponding locking mechanism, so that a single hand-operated self-defense device can be used for all hand sizes.
[0025] The closure mechanism may comprise an element from the group consisting of a buckle, a Velcro fastener or a zipper.
[0026] According to one embodiment, the support plate element contains at least one warning element. The warning element can contain a warning signal element from the group consisting of optical or acoustic warning elements.
[0027] According to one embodiment, the support plate element contains at least one pressurized container for holding a fluid. According to one embodiment, the fluid contained in the pressurized container contains an identification agent or a defense agent. For example, the fluid can contain a liquid that is used to ward off an attack or can be used for identification. The fluid can contain, for example, a dye. The fluid can comprise, for example, a liquid that causes skin irritation. In particular, the pressurized container can contain a liquid that can trigger skin irritation.
[0028] According to one embodiment, the pressure vessel contains a metering device and an actuator, wherein the metering device can be activated by the actuator such that the fluid can escape from the pressure vessel. The actuator can be easily operated manually by finger pressure on a handle element. By means of the handle element, a channel section containing an actuator fluid channel can be opened to provide the fluid. According to one embodiment, a constriction of the metering device is opened by a compressive force exerted on the channel section, so that the pressurized fluid in the pressure vessel can suddenly escape from the pressure vessel. The fluid flows outwards, in particular through the actuator fluid channel, into an opening arranged in the cover element of the actuator. The opening can in particular contain a nozzle, so that the fluid can leave the support plate element at high speed.
[0029] A key advantage of the hand-operated self-defense device according to the invention is its simple design, making its function immediately recognizable. The wearer of the hand-operated self-defense device according to the invention can thus create a deterrent effect simply by wearing the hand-operated self-defense device. Advantageously, the hand-operated self-defense device can be manufactured in eye-catching colors or provided with a coating or paint in eye-catching colors that have a signaling effect and thus trigger a visual warning effect. The hand-operated self-defense device can also contain luminous or luminous signal elements, which can enhance the warning effect, particularly in poor lighting or darkness.
[0030] Furthermore, the hand-operated self-defense device is immediately ready for use. Unlike many previously known self-defense devices, it can be used immediately in a wide variety of threat scenarios. Many previously known self-defense devices are kept in pockets, meaning that in an emergency, valuable time can pass before these previously known self-defense devices are ready for use. Because the self-defense device according to the invention is worn on the hand, such a delay is avoided.
[0031] Furthermore, the functions of the hand-operated self-defense device are designed simply to avoid confusion, which can also lead to delayed reactions. The main goal is to confuse the attacker and thwart their misguided ambitions. The self-defense device according to the invention can be used in various modes of operation, for example, to generate a pain impulse through pointed elements, to deter attackers through bright light or an audible warning signal, or to ward off an attack by applying a skin-irritating fluid or a disorienting dye. Each mode of operation has its own particular advantages.
[0032] The self-defense device according to the invention is equipped with an additional function to collect evidence, such as deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), which may be valuable for later criminal prosecution of an attacking person.
[0033] The pointed elements offer an additional advantage in that they not only cause a strong pain response when piercing the skin, but also leave a very distinctive mark due to the skin injury, which allows for easier and faster identification of an attacker.
[0034] Pepper spray has long been considered the best method of non-lethal self-defense, but it's often unavailable at the right time. If a pepper spray canister is integrated into the self-defense device, it can also be carried on the hand. This ensures immediate availability in an emergency.
[0035] The self-defense device can also emit an audible or visual warning signal in another operating mode. The audible warning signal in the form of an alarm, for example, at a volume in the range of 125 to 140 decibels (dB), or the visual warning signal in the form of a bright, glaring light, can encourage an attacker to abandon their idea of an easy target. Combined with a 1000-lumen spotlight, this can both confuse the attacker and alert other people nearby that someone needs help.
[0036] The use of a tip element made of glass or PMMA can also assist DNA collection.
[0037] A support plate element can be provided for each of the operating modes. A support plate element that can emit audible or visible warning signals is, in particular, rechargeable. A support plate element that contains a pressure vessel for a fluid can, in particular, be refillable.
[0038] Each of the support plate elements can be attached to the defense element so that the hand-operated self-defense device is always available in the desired operating mode. Kurzbeschreibung der Zeichnungen

Detaillierte Beschreibung
[0040] Fig. 1a shows a view of a hand-operated self-defense device 1 according to a first embodiment of the invention. The hand-operated self-defense device 1 contains a first band element 11 for attachment to a palm and a second band element 12 for attachment to a wrist. Furthermore, the hand-operated self-defense device 1 has a connecting element 2 for connecting the first band element 11 to the second band element 12. A defense element 3 is connected to the connecting element 2 or the first band element 11. The defense element 3 contains a support plate element 4, which contains a plurality of tip elements 5, which are arranged on the support plate element 4 such that they span a surface. According to the present embodiment, the tip elements 5 have an annular arrangement on the support plate element 4. One of the tip elements 5, in Fig. 1a A tip element 5 located inside the annular arrangement contains an opening 6. According to this embodiment, the tip elements 5 forming the annular arrangement are designed as pyramids. They could also be, as in Fig. 3 shown, have a conical shape. When the opening angle of the cone or pyramid approaches zero, a needle-like structure is formed. Therefore, according to an embodiment not shown, the tip elements can also have a needle shape.
[0041] In particular, the defense element 3 can have an evidence-preserving device 7 for collecting evidence. According to the present embodiment, the opening 6 of the tip element located inside the annular arrangement is designed as an evidence-preserving device 7.
[0042] After the attack has been fended off, evidence such as tissue cells, hair, body fluids and the like can accumulate in the opening 6 and remain there due to contact with the skin of the attacking person and any injury to the skin caused by the contact. The tip element(s) 5 can also contain an adhesive. The adhesive enables the evidence to adhere so that it remains available even after fleeing the attack. An adhesive can be used in particular as the adhesive. The adhesive should be inert in particular towards solid body particles such as tissue cells, hair or body fluids so that no chemical reactions can occur with the solid body particles or the body fluids.
[0043] In particular, the first strap element 11 can contain a flexible material that can adapt to the shape of the wearer's hand. In particular, the second strap element 12 can contain a flexible material that can adapt to the shape of the wearer's wrist. For example, at least one of the first and second strap elements 11, 12 can contain a textile material.
[0044] According to the present embodiment, the second strap element 12 contains a locking mechanism 8 for attaching the self-defense device to the wrist. According to the present embodiment, the locking mechanism 8 is designed as a buckle.
[0045] Fig. 1b shows a section through a tip element 5 containing an evidence securing device 7 according to Fig. 1a . The tip element 5 can be designed as a pyramid or as a cone, wherein the tip element 5 contains an opening 6. The tip of the tip element has been removed. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment, the cut surface does not run parallel to the base surface formed by the support plate element 4. Evidence can be received in the opening 6. According to the present exemplary embodiment, the opening runs concentrically with respect to the tip element 5, i.e. the center line of the opening 6 coincides with the center axis of the tip element 5. The opening 6 can extend as far as the support plate element 4 or, according to a variant not shown, can be designed as a blind hole which extends only over part of the total length of the tip element 5.When the tip element 5 is in contact with the skin surface, evidence in the form of solid body particles, such as tissue cells, hair, or body fluids, can enter the opening 6 and remain there as the tip element 5 moves along the skin surface. In particular, if the cutting surface forms an angle with the base surface in the range of 30 degrees to 75 degrees inclusive, loose tissue cells can also fall into the opening 6, so that evidence can still be collected even with a brief, light touch of the skin surface.
[0046] Fig. 2 shows an application example for the hand-operated self-defense device 1 according to Fig. 1a According to this exemplary embodiment, the hand-operated self-defense device 1 is attached to a hand 9 such that the defense element 3 rests on the palm 10. The defense element 3 contains a support plate element 4, which is designed to rest on a palm 10. The present arrangement has the advantage of ensuring optimal force transmission, since, according to the invention, the impact force that can be transmitted via the palm 10 has been proven in extensive tests to be greater than a force transmitted via the back of the hand or the edge of the hand. Therefore, by arranging the defense element 3, particularly in a central region of the palm 10, the force transmission can surprisingly be optimized. As a rule, the attacking person does not expect a great deal of force to be transferred in such a defensive movement when triggered by the palm of the hand. Therefore, the attacked person can gain time for an appropriate reaction by using a pushing movement thanks to the surprise effect this creates. In particular, the attacked person has more time to escape or to make an emergency call. Furthermore, the evidence preservation device 7 can ensure that solid body particles, such as tissue cells, hair, or bodily fluids of the attacking person, remain on the evidence preservation device 7 simply by the pushing movement, often combined with a scratching movement.
[0047] Fig. 3 shows a hand-operated self-defense device according to a second embodiment of the invention. The hand-operated self-defense device 1 contains a first band element 11 for attachment to a palm of the hand and a second band element 12 for attachment to a wrist. According to the present embodiment, the tip elements 5 have a multi-row arrangement on the support plate element 4.
[0048] In particular, the defense element 3 can comprise an evidence-preserving device 7 for collecting evidence. According to the present embodiment, the evidence-preserving device 7 is arranged between adjacent rows of tip elements 5. The evidence-preserving device 7 contains an adhesive. For example, an adhesive strip can be used. The adhesive can also be removable and / or replaceable. As described in connection with the previous embodiment, the evidence-preserving device 7 can also be formed by at least one of the tip elements 5. The tip element(s) 5 can also contain an adhesive. After the attack has been repelled, solid body particles, such as tissue cells, hair, or body fluids, can accumulate on the evidence preservation device 7 and remain there due to contact with the skin of the attacking person and any possible injury to the skin caused by the contact. The adhesive enables the adhesion of evidence, so that it remains accessible even after fleeing the attack. An adhesive, in particular, can be used as the adhesive. The adhesive should be inert, in particular, toward solid body particles or body fluids, so that no chemical reactions with the solid body particles or body fluids can occur.
[0049] In particular, the first strap element 11 can contain a flexible material that can adapt to the shape of the wearer's hand. In particular, the second strap element 12 can contain a flexible material that can adapt to the shape of the wearer's wrist. For example, at least one of the first and second strap elements 11, 12 can contain a textile material.
[0050] According to the present embodiment, the second band element 12 contains an elastic material by means of which the hand-operated self-defense device 1 can be fixed in the desired position.
[0051] Fig. 4 shows a section through a tip element 5 containing an evidence securing device 7 according to a first variant. The tip element 5 can be designed as a pyramid or as a cone whose tip has been removed in order to gain access to an opening 6. Evidence can be received in the opening 6. According to the present exemplary embodiment, the opening 6 runs concentrically with respect to the tip element 5, i.e. the center line of the opening 6 coincides with the center axis of the tip element 5. The opening 6 can widen in cross-section from its mouth end to the opposite end resting on the support plate element 4, so that evidence once located in the opening 6 remains in the opening 6.
[0052] Fig. 5 shows a section through a tip element 5 containing an evidence-preserving device 7 according to a second variant. The evidence-preserving device 7 is again designed as an opening 6 located in the casing area of the tip element 5, which in turn can be designed as a pyramid or cone. This variant has the advantage that the tip of the tip element 5 remains intact. Thus, if the tip element 5 slightly penetrates the skin of an attacking person, solid body particles, such as tissue cells, hair, or body fluids, can collect in the opening 6, which can later serve as evidence.
[0053] Fig. 6a shows a section through an evidence securing device 7 according to a third variant in a first position. This evidence securing device 7 is designed as a hollow body, for example a cylinder, with a concentric opening 6 widening in the direction of the support plate element 7. The hollow body contains an elastic material, so that the hollow body undergoes a change in shape under the application of a compressive force, for example, it is compressed, which in Fig. 6b which shows the section through the evidence securing device according to the Fig. 6a shown variant in a second position. In the first position according to Fig. 6a For example, the evidence securing device 7 projects beyond the one in one of the Fig. 1a bis Fig. 3 Therefore, when the evidence-preserving device 7 comes into contact with the body surface of an attacking person, it is compressed by the applied pressure force. This can result in a suction effect, allowing evidence for identifying the attacking person to enter the opening 6.
[0054] Alternatively or in addition, the evidence securing device 7 may contain an adhesive, for example, be coated with an adhesive. When a compressive force is exerted, as in Fig. 6b As shown, the surface of the evidence-preserving device 7 adheres to the body surface of the attacking person. Through the adhesive and / or a negative pressure created by the escape of air, solid body particles, such as tissue cells, hair, or body fluids, can be captured as evidence on the surface of the evidence-preserving device 7 and in the opening 6.
[0055] It is also possible for the opening to be partially filled with an adhesive, which only comes into contact with the body surface of the attacking person when the pressure is applied. According to this variant, the evidence is collected in the opening when a defensive strike is made with the hand-operated self-defense device, so that the required pressure is built up by the contact with the body surface of the attacking person, and a compression of the evidence securing device occurs. After the pressure is removed, the evidence securing device 7 returns to its original shape, as shown in Fig. 6a The evidence is located inside opening 6. Opening 6 can be closed with a plug later if necessary to protect the evidence from unwanted environmental influences.
[0056] Fig. 7 shows a hand-operated self-defense device according to a third embodiment of the invention. The hand-operated self-defense device 20 includes a first band element 11 for attachment to a palm and a second band element 12 for attachment to a wrist. Furthermore, the hand-operated self-defense device 1 has a connecting element 2 for connecting the first band element 11 to the second band element 12. A defense element 3 is connected to the connecting element 2. The defense element 3 includes a support plate element 4, which includes a plurality of tip elements arranged on the support plate element 4 such that they define a surface.
[0057] The top elements are in Fig. 7 covered by a cover 14. As in the previous exemplary embodiments, the tip elements can form a multi-row arrangement on the support plate element 4. In particular, the defense element 3 can have an evidence-preserving device 7 for collecting evidence. After the attack has been averted, solid body particles, for example tissue cells, hair or body fluids and the like, can accumulate on the evidence-preserving device 7 due to contact with the skin and any injury to the skin of the attacking person caused by the contact and remain there. By means of an adhesive, the adhesion of evidence can be enabled or improved so that it remains available even after fleeing the attack. An adhesive can be used in particular as the adhesive. The adhesive should be inert, in particular, towards solid body particles or body fluids, so that no chemical reactions with the solid body particles or body fluids can occur.
[0058] In particular, the first strap element 11 can contain a flexible material that can adapt to the shape of the wearer's hand. In particular, the second strap element 12 can contain a flexible material that can adapt to the shape of the wearer's wrist. For example, at least one of the first and second strap elements 11, 12 can contain a plastic. In particular, at least one of the first or second strap elements 11, 12 can contain an elastomer, so that the hand-operated self-defense device 20 can be fixed in the desired position. According to the present embodiment, the second strap element 12 has a first end that contains a buckle 15. The second strap element 12 has a second end, to which an end region adjoins, which contains a plurality of recesses 16. The recesses 16 serve to receive an engagement element 18 of the buckle 15.According to this embodiment, the hand-operated self-defense device 20 can be adapted to the wrist of the wearer, and is therefore designed to be adjustable.
[0059] The first band element 11 also contains a plurality of hole elements 17. The hole elements 17 serve to receive at least one corresponding pin element 19 (see Fig. 8 ), which is not visible in the present illustration since it is arranged on the underside of the first band element 11. In particular, the pin element(s) can have an oversize with respect to the hole elements 17, so that the pin element(s) are retained in the hole elements 17 when they are pressed into the hole elements.
[0060] Fig. 8 shows a side view of the hand-operated self-defense device 20 according to Fig. 7 The side view shows the second strap element 12, its first end with the buckle 15, as well as its second end. The first strap element 11 is arranged behind the second strap element 12 in this illustration and is therefore not visible. Only the pin elements 19, which are intended for insertion into the Fig. 7 shown hole elements 17 are shown in this illustration.
[0061] Fig. 9 shows a top view of the hand-operated self-defense device 20 according to Fig. 7 . Identical or equivalent components bear the same reference numerals as in Fig. 7 The defense element 3 includes a support plate element 4, which includes a plurality of tip elements arranged on the support plate element 4 such that they span a surface. According to the present embodiment, the support plate element 4 is designed to be removable. The defense element 3 includes a receiving element 21 designed to receive the support plate element 4. The support plate element 4, which includes the tip elements 5, can, as shown in Fig. 7 shown, be covered by a cover 14. The cover 14 is also designed to be removable according to this embodiment. In Fig. 9 the cover 14 is shown in both a top view and a side view.
[0062] Fig. 10a shows a second variant of a support plate element 24, which contains at least one warning element. The support plate element 24 can be used instead of the support plate element 4. The support plate element can contain at least one warning element consisting of the group of acoustic warning elements 25 or the optical warning elements 22, 23. The acoustic warning element 25 can, for example, comprise a horn element or bell element, by means of which an audio signal with a volume of up to 140 decibels (dB) can be generated. In particular, the audio signal can have a volume in the range of 125 to 140 dB. According to one embodiment, at least one actuating element 26 is provided. The actuating element 26 can simultaneously be designed as the optical warning element 23. According to one embodiment, three actuating elements 26 are provided. The actuating elements 26 can be designed as a light source, in particular the actuating elements 26 can simultaneously have the function of lighting and the function of an optical warning element 23.
[0063] The optical warning element 22 can, for example, comprise at least one light source. The light source can, for example, generate white light with a luminous flux of up to 1200 lumens. In particular, the light signal can have a luminous flux in the range of 1000 to 1200 lumens. According to one exemplary embodiment, the light source can emit different light signals. For example, light signals with different luminous fluxes or light signals with different colors can be generated by means of the optical warning element 22. The optical warning element 22 can, in particular, generate red light. In particular, continuous light signals or discontinuous light signals can be generated. For example, periodic light signals can be generated, in particular light signals with a constant period duration.
[0064] If the actuating element 26 is also designed as an optical warning element 23, the optical warning element 23 can also include a light source. According to one embodiment, the light from this light source has a luminous flux of up to 1000 lumens.
[0065] Fig. 10b shows a side view of the support plate element 24. In Fig. 10b the actuating elements 26 are visible. According to this embodiment, each of the actuating elements 26 can also be used as an optical warning element 23. The optical warning element 23 is designed to emit light in at least two different directions. According to the Fig. 10b In the illustrated embodiment, each of the actuating elements 26 is arranged in a recess 27 of the support plate element 24. The recess 27 ensures, on the one hand, that the emitted light radiates in different directions, so that the warning signal generated thereby is emitted in more than one spatial direction. Thus, the warning signal is visible from multiple directions and cannot be easily obscured.
[0066] The actuating elements 26 in the Fig. 10b The arrangement shown is also easier to find, especially in the dark, since the recess 27 can be easily felt with the fingers.
[0067] The support plate element 24 also includes at least one connecting element 28 for fastening in a receiving element 21, as in Fig. 9 The connecting element 28 can be designed, for example, as a pin element. In Fig. 10b Three pin elements are shown as examples.
[0068] Fig. 11a shows a third variant of a support plate element 34, which contains a pressure vessel 31 for holding a fluid, in particular a liquid. The fluid can comprise an identification means or a repellent. For example, the fluid can contain a dye that can be used for the purpose of identification. Alternatively or additionally, the fluid can contain a repellent. In particular, the pressure vessel 31 can contain a fluid by means of which irritation of the skin can be triggered. For example, the fluid can contain a pepper spray. The support plate element 34 is shown in a top view. The pressure vessel 31 is filled by a dosing device 32 (see Fig. 11b , Fig. 11d , Fig. 11g ) is closed when the support plate element 34 is not in use. The dosing device can be activated by means of an actuator 33. The actuator 33 contains an activation element 45, which is intended to activate the support plate element 34.
[0069] Fig. 11b shows a side view of the support plate element 34, wherein the pressure vessel 31 of the support plate element is shown in section to provide a view of the components located inside the pressure vessel 31. According to this embodiment, the support plate element 34 consists of a pressure vessel 31, which in the Fig. 11b is shown in section. The pressure vessel 31 contains a fluid in the operating state. The pressure vessel 31 is closed by a metering device 32 when no fluid is to be withdrawn from the pressure vessel 31. The metering device 32 can be activated by means of an actuator 33. The pressure vessel 31 contains at least one connecting element 28 for fastening in a receiving element 21, as in Fig. 9 The connecting element 28 can be designed, for example, as a pin element. In Fig. 11b Three pin elements are shown as examples.
[0070] The dosing device 32 comprises a fluid receiving element 35, for example a pipe element, see also Fig. 11g , in which the tubular element is shown partially cut away. The fluid receiving element 35 is characterized by a constriction 36, which is fluid-impermeable when the metering device 32 is not in operation. The constriction 36 can, for example, be designed as a constriction. At the constriction 36, the cross-sectional area of a fluid channel running in the fluid receiving element 35 is zero when the metering device 32 is not in operation, as can be seen from Fig. 11d can be seen. Downstream of the constriction 36, the fluid channel widens and forms an orifice 37. This orifice 37 is located in a cover element 38, which is attached in a fluid-tight manner to an edge of the pressure vessel 31. For example, the cover element 38 can encompass the edge 29 of the pressure vessel 31, see also Fig. 11d, Fig. 11e and Fig. 11g . The mouth opening 37 is located in particular in the central region of the pressure vessel 31; according to the present embodiment, the mouth opening 37 is arranged concentrically to the central axis of the pressure vessel 31.
[0071] The actuator 33 rests on the dosing device 32 and is held in the cover element 38 of the dosing device 32 according to the present embodiment, see in particular Fig. 11g The actuator 33 contains an opening 41, which, in the assembled state, is aligned with the outlet opening 37. The opening 41 is intended for the outlet of the fluid when the actuator 33 is actuated. An actuator fluid channel 42 leads from the opening 41 to the outlet opening 37. According to the present embodiment, the actuator fluid channel 42 ends in the opening 41. A cylindrical channel section 43 adjoins the opening 41, and a conical channel section 44 adjoins the cylindrical channel section 43. The free end of the conical channel section 44 rests in the outlet opening 37 on the cover element 38 of the dosing device 32.
[0072] The actuator fluid channel 42 is arranged in a cover element 46 of the actuator 33. The cover element 46 has a holding device 47 on its circumference, by means of which the cover element 46 can be held on the dosing device 32. The holding device 47 can, for example, comprise a bayonet lock, a screw connection, or a snap-in connection.
[0073] According to the present embodiment, the activation element 45 is formed as part of the cover element 46. The activation element 45 comprises a handle element 48 and an inner element 49 containing the actuator fluid channel 42, which is partially separated from an outer partial element 50 of the cover element 46 by two slot sections 51, 52. In an exemplary arrangement, the slot sections 51, 52 are arranged in a kidney shape around the inner element 49, see Fig. 11a or Fig. 11f .
[0074] When the actuator 33 is actuated to withdraw fluid from the pressure vessel 31, a compressive force is exerted on the grip element 48 of the activation element 45. Since the outer sub-element 50 and the inner element 49 are connected via a bridge piece 53 located between the two slot sections, a pivoting movement of the activation element 45 occurs relative to the outer sub-element 50, which is designed as a fixed clamp at the upper edge 29 of the pressure vessel 31 and the dosing device 32 via the holding device 47.
[0075] The rotational movement of the activation element 45 forces the cylindrical channel section containing the actuator fluid channel 42 and the conical channel section into the orifice 37. This expands the cross-section of the orifice 37 and thus the cross-section at the constriction 36. The fluid in the pressure vessel 31 can pass through the constriction 36, enter the actuator fluid channel 42, and exit through the opening 41. Optionally, the opening 41 can contain a nozzle, forming a fluid jet that can exit the support plate element 34 at high speed.
[0076] Fig. 11c shows a detail of the actuator 33 of the support plate element 34 according to Fig. 11a As previously described, the conical channel section 44 is designed to be received in the Fig. 11d The opening 37 shown is determined by the channel section. If the channel section is designed as a conical channel section 44, the penetration resistance is low, so that a lower force needs to be exerted on the grip element 48 to activate the support plate element 34 designed as a fluid dispenser than for a cylindrical channel section. A cylindrical channel section can be provided alternatively, but is not shown in the drawings.
[0077] Fig. 11d shows a detail of the dosing device 32 of the support plate element 34 according to Fig. 11a The dosing device 32 includes a cover element 38 and a fluid receiving element 35. The fluid receiving element 35 is designed to form a fluid channel when the support plate element 34 is in the operating state. The support plate element 34 is in the operating state when a user actuates the handle element 48 of the actuator 33, see Fig. 11b , Fig. 11c and Fig. 11g . In particular, the grip element 48 can be operated with a finger of the hand on which the hand-operated self-defense device 20 is worn. In Fig. 11d The non-operating state is shown, so that the fluid channel is closed. According to the present exemplary embodiment, the fluid receiving element 35 comprises a tubular element containing a fluid inlet opening 40, which, in the installed state, is arranged near the bottom of the pressure vessel 31. The fluid channel extends through the fluid receiving element 35 from the fluid inlet opening 40 to the outlet opening 37. In the non-operating state, the fluid channel is closed by a constriction 36 arranged between the fluid inlet opening 40 and the outlet opening 37.
[0078] Fig. 11e shows a detail of the pressure vessel 31 of the support plate element 34 according to Fig. 11a The pressure vessel 31 is designed to hold a fluid and, after being filled with the fluid, is sealed in a fluid-tight manner by the dosing device 32. For example, the rim 29 of the dosing device can be enclosed in a fluid-tight manner by an rim receiving element 39 of the dosing device. If the pressure vessel is intended for single use, the rim receiving element 39 can be glued or welded to the rim 29. If the pressure vessel 31 is to be refillable after use, the rim receiving element can contain a sealing element by means of which the escape of the fluid via the rim 29 can be prevented. This variant is not shown in the drawing.
[0079] Fig. 11f shows a further plan view of the support plate element 34 according to Fig. 11a . The Fig. 11f The support plate element 34 shown is moved by rotating the Fig. 11a by 90 degrees and serves to illustrate the cutting path for the sectional view according to Fig. 11g .
[0080] Fig. 11g shows a partial section through the support plate element 34 according to Fig. 11f , wherein the pressure vessel 31 of the support plate element 34 is shown in section to provide a view of the components located inside the pressure vessel 31. In addition, the support plate element 34 is shown in the right half of the Fig. 11g shown in a sectional view to illustrate the course of the fluid channels running in the metering device 32 and the actuator 33, which in the operating state provide an outlet path for the fluid located in the pressure vessel 31. The sectional course is in Fig. 11frepresented by the letters AA and dot-dash lines. The outlet path for the fluid thus comprises the fluid receiving element 35, which contains a fluid channel extending from a fluid inlet opening 40 to the outlet opening 37 in the metering device 32 and contains the constriction 36. The outlet path for the fluid is only provided in the operating state by actuating the actuator 33. In the operating state, the fluid can flow through the actuator fluid channel 42, which extends from the end of the conical channel section 44 of the actuator 33 located in the outlet opening 37 to its opening 41.
