Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention refers to a mobile lighting system, in particular a mobile lighting system of a commercial and / or residential environment.
[0002] As is known, solar lighting is an essential aspect to give value, usability and functionality to a room, both in a commercial and in a residential environment. In environments where natural light is not sufficient to carry out domestic or work activities, it is necessary to intervene with artificial light.
[0003] Therefore, ducted lighting systems are known in the art which allow natural light to be transported to the darkest areas of the rooms, improving the habitability and healthiness of rooms without windows or skylights.
[0004] As known, ducted lighting systems are composed of a capturing element outside the building, a duct for the transport of light radiation and an emission element for the distribution of light in the environment.
[0005] There are ducted lighting systems with very different characteristics from each other in terms of shape, size, capture method. Known fixed collection systems are tubular skylights characterized by simplicity of construction, installation, and maintenance but such systems can have a high efficiency only in particular hours of the day and periods of the year due to the fixed positioning of these systems with respect to the direction of the sun's rays which vary during the day and times of the year.
[0006] It is known that in some cases the well-known ducted lighting systems can have problems in the summer period, owing to their high efficiency due to their static position with respect to excessive exposure to sunlight, with the risk of introducing too much energy (light and heat) in the periods of the year in which this supply is not necessary.
[0007] It is evident from the state of the art that there are no interior lighting systems capable of automatically following the path of the sun throughout the day, providing optimal lighting even when the natural light source is partially and / or totally obscured.
[0008] JP-A-H09 297280 discloses a lighting system known from the prior art.
[0009] Object of the present invention is solving the aforementioned prior art problems by providing a mobile lighting system equipped with LED lighting elements.
[0010] Another object of the present invention is providing a mobile lighting system as mentioned above, capable of following the path of the natural light source throughout the day, providing optimal lighting even when the light source is partially or totally obscured, or in the extreme hours of the day (sun low on the horizon) by conveying the light rays inside the conduit that would otherwise pass through the capturing dome.
[0011] A final object is automatically providing artificial lighting of a commercial and / or residential environment on the basis of brightness specifications requested by the user.
[0012] The aforesaid and other objects and advantages of the invention, as will emerge from the following description, are achieved with a mobile lighting system such as the one described in claim 1. Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variations of the present invention form the subject matter of the dependent claim.
[0013] It is understood that all attached claims form an integral part of the present description.
[0014] It will be immediately obvious that innumerable variations and modifications (for example relating to shape, dimensions, arrangements and parts with equivalent functionality) can be made to what is described, without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the attached claims.
[0015] The present invention will be better described by some preferred embodiments thereof, provided by way of a non-limiting example, with reference to the attached drawings, in which: FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of a preferred embodiment of the system according to the present invention; FIG. 2 shows a sectional view of FIG. 1; FIG. 3 shows a sectional view of a second embodiment of the system according to the present invention; and FIG. 4 shows a sectional view of FIG. 3.
[0016] Referring to FIG. 1, a mobile lighting system 1 according to the present invention is designed to provide lighting in a commercial and / or residential environment on the basis of brightness specifications requested by the user by means of a device 10 for capturing the luminous flux emitted by a natural light source 2 from sunrise to sunset, even in a partially and / or totally obscured condition of the natural light source 2. Advantageously, the system 1 according to the present invention is equipped with: at least one capturing element 3, preferably a capturing dome made of compact polycarbonate or methacrylate, connected at the bottom on the upper perimeter of a cylindrical duct 7 designed to protect the capturing system 10 and the cylindrical duct 7 from atmospheric agents, impacts, sudden changes in temperature and electromagnetic radiation emitted by the sun; the cylindrical duct 7, internally composed of suitably shaped, very highly reflective aluminum sheets, treated with Physical Vapor Deposition technology, which allows depositing a system of optical layers composed of ultra-reflective silver and protected with silicon and titanium oxides, in order to obtain total reflection values higher than 98%, designed to favor the reflection on the internal surface of the cylindrical duct 7 of the luminous flux collected by the capturing device 10; a lenticular diffusing element 8, for example a lenticular or microprismatic diffusing ceiling light made of compact polycarbonate or methacrylate, connected at the top on the lower perimeter of the cylindrical duct 7 designed to favor the irradiation of the solar luminous flux coming from the cylinder duct 7 in the commercial and / or residential environment in which the system 1 is inserted; the capturing device 10, arranged on the upper surface of the cylindrical duct 7, designed to identify in real time the position of the natural light source 2 and to capture the luminous flux emitted by the natural light source 2; and a plurality, preferably at least four, of LED lighting elements 9, arranged on the lower portion adjacent to the ceiling light of the cylindrical duct 7 of the mobile lighting system 1.
[0017] The capturing device 10 consists of: a parabola element 4 equipped with a reflecting surface 4a, and a lower end connected with at least one rotary means 20; the reflecting surface 4a is internally composed of suitably shaped highly reflective aluminum sheets, treated with Physical Vapor Deposition technology, which allows depositing a system of optical layers composed of ultra-reflective silver and protected with silicon and titanium oxides, in order to obtain total reflection values higher than 98%, designed to favor the reflection on the internal surface of the cylindrical duct 7 of the solar luminous flux coming from the natural light source 2; the rotary means 20 consisting of: an electronic processing element 11, a mechanical movement element 12, a solar panel element 5 for feeding the rotary means 20, this rotary means 20 designed to induce a movement of the parabola element 4, by means of the mechanical movement element 12 and by means of the electronic control processed by the electronic processing element 11, favoring the optimal positioning of the parabola element 4 according to the position of the natural light source 2; and an electrical energy storage element 6, connected to the rotary means 20 designed to induce electrical energy required by the user.
[0018] A second embodiment of the system is described, as shown in FIG. 3 and 4 by way of a non-limiting example, equipped with a cylindrical duct 7 characterized by a lower height dimension than the first embodiment, designed to allow adapting and inserting the system in a plurality of commercial and / or residential environments with different technical and construction requirements.
[0019] Some preferred embodiments of the invention have been described, but obviously they are susceptible to further modifications and variations within the same inventive idea. In particular, numerous variants and modifications, functionally equivalent to the preceding ones, which fall within the scope of the invention as highlighted in the attached claims, will be immediately evident to those skilled in the art.
