[0002] Prior art includes a number of known curtain wire fastening systems for hanging curtains in front of the windows. Normally, suitable hooks or couplings are used for fastening curtain wires to the wall and the fastening point - i.e., the coupling point of the two fixing elements - remains visible. Using this solution may result in injury to both the user and the curtain fabric. Also, this type of attachment is not visually attractive.

[0005] The aim of the present invention is to provide a curtain wire fastening system onto a window frame that can be fixed securely to said window frame, which is easily installable, and which is safe to use, i.e., in use all potentially hazardous projecting elements are covered. The aim of the invention is also to provide an option to a change and / or refresh an appearance of the fastening system by replacing the cap of the cover element if desired.

1. A curtain wire (1) fastening system for fastening a curtain wire (1) onto a window frame, comprising a curtain wire (1) and a wire fastener (3) at both ends (4) of the curtain wire (1), wherein each wire fastener (3) is covered with a hollow cover element (5) for fastening the end (4) of the curtain wire (1) to the window frame, wherein the wire fastener (3) connected to the end (4) of the curtain wire (1) is a hook screw or loop screw screwed to the end (4) of the curtain wire (1), wherein each hollow cover element (5) comprises a cap (8) and a fixing element (2), wherein a side wall of each hollow cover element (5) includes a side opening (6) for the wire fastener (3), characterized in that a bottom of said hollow cover element (5) includes a bottom hole (7) for screwing said hollow cover element (5) to the window frame with said fixing element (2), wherein said wire fastener (3) connected to the end (4) of said curtain wire (1) and passing through said side opening (6) of said cover element (5) is connectable inside of said hollow cover element (5) to the fixing element (2), which in turn is screwable through the bottom hole (7) of said cover element (5) to said window frame.

2. The curtain wire fastening system according to claim 1, characterized in that, the fixing element (2) screwed through the bottom hole (7) of the cover element (5) is a hook screw, loop screw or thumbscrew.

3. The curtain wire fastening system according to claim 1, characterized in that, the hollow cover element (5) is formed by two end walls and a mainly cylindrical side wall between them, where one end wall is formed by the cap (8) attached to the cover element (5).

4. The curtain wire fastening system according to claim 3, characterized in that, said cap (8) is attached to said cover element (5) with snap-fit, threaded fastening or interference fit.

5. The curtain wire fastening system according to claim 1, characterized in that, the bottom hole (7) in the bottom of said cover element (5) is conical, where said bottom hole (7) is expanding towards the interior of said hollow cover element (5).

6. The curtain wire fastening system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, the cover element (5) and cap (8) are made of plastic.

7. The curtain wire fastening system according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, an exterior surface of the cap (8) comprises a relief pattern.
