Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to an access device for a transit system. Transit systems are primarily installed in the entrance area of self-service stores. They are then also referred to as entrance systems. An access device of such a system serves to specify a direction of passage. This can reduce the risk of shoplifting by preventing or at least making it more difficult for people to leave a self-service store through the entrance area. Such a transit system can also be installed as an exit system in the exit area.
[0002] Such access devices are known from the prior art. DE 20 111 709 U1, for example, shows an access device designed as a pivoting door for a passageway system. The access device comprises a support element, referred to as a base, on which a blocking element is pivotably mounted. The blocking element can be moved between a position closing a passage and a position opening the passage. It is designed as a door leaf or hinged door. The access device comprises a mounting base, referred to as a mounting plate, which can be mounted on a floor and is formed integrally with the support element.
[0003] DE 2 548 069 A1 and DE 10 2006 026 383 A1 disclose further access devices according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0004] A transit system with corresponding access devices is disclosed in DE 20 2020 100 094 U1.
[0005] In previously known access devices, the mounting foot forms a mounting plane on which the access device is placed on a floor. The known mounting feet have a lateral overhang opposite the actual support element, which is provided with holes. The mounting foot and thus the support element is screwed to the floor via these holes in the overhang. A cover can then be attached to the mounting foot or support element to conceal the overhang and the screws arranged on it. This overhang, which projects outwards to the side of the support element and may be covered by the cover, makes cleaning in the area of the passageway system more difficult, particularly when using mop trolleys. On the upper side of the overhang or the cover, as well as in the edges between the overhang or the cover, there are holes in the overhang.Dirt can accumulate on the cover and floor, and possibly between the cover and the support element, and is difficult to remove. When using a cleaning cart, the operator must be aware that they should not orient themselves directly on the support element of the access device, which is clearly visible to them. Instead, they must consider the overhang of the mounting base, including the cover placed on it, to avoid collision of the cleaning cart with the access device.
[0006] The object of the present invention is to provide an access device which avoids the disadvantages described above.
[0007] This object is achieved by an access device having the features of the characterising part of claim 1.
[0008] According to the invention, the access device comprises a mounting base and a support element, which are designed as two separate components. The support element can be releasably secured to the mounting base. To secure the support element to the mounting base, the mounting base has at least one connecting element extending perpendicular to the mounting plane, onto which the support element can be pushed. The mounting base and the support element are designed such that the support element completely conceals the mounting base, at least in one viewing direction along a longitudinal extension direction of the support element, in the mounted position, at least when viewed from above.
[0009] The mounting foot is at least aligned with the outer edge of the support element. The support element is preferably designed such that it slides completely over the mounting foot. When the support element is pushed on, the mounting foot is then completely concealed by the support element and arranged inside the support element. The mounting foot does not protrude beyond the support element. Such an access device is easy to install and has an attractive appearance when installed. An operator of a mop cart can orient themselves directly using the support element when cleaning, thus avoiding a collision with the mounting foot of the access device.
[0010] The support element is preferably designed as an elongated element. The dimensions of a support element designed as an elongated element, in particular the height, are much larger than the dimensions in two directions orthogonal to one another and orthogonal to the main direction of extension, in particular the width and the depth. A support element designed as an elongated element is in particular attached to the mounting foot such that the main direction of extension of the support element is aligned perpendicular to the mounting plane of the mounting foot. The connecting element of the mounting foot, which also extends at right angles to the mounting plane, enables the support element to be securely attached to the mounting foot. The connecting element can reliably absorb forces acting on the upper end of the support element, which act on the mounting foot with a considerable lever due to the slim shape of the support element.
[0011] Preferably, the connecting element is designed such that, when the support element is attached to the mounting base, it rests against an inner wall of the support element. A flat contact is created between the connecting element and the inner wall of the support element, through which the forces acting on the support element can be reliably transmitted to the mounting base while avoiding load peaks. This enables a particularly robust and reliable through-hole system.
[0012] The support element and the mounting base can have differently shaped cross-sections perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the support element or in a top view of the mounting base. In particular, the support element can have a triangular, quadrangular, square, or polygonal cross-section. Preferably, the support element is cylindrical with a circular cross-section. This creates a particularly high-quality appearance for the support element.
[0013] The support element can be attached to the mounting base, particularly its connecting element, in various ways. The support element can be plugged onto the connecting element, and then the mounting base and the support element can be screwed together laterally. The support element and mounting base can be equipped with corresponding threads so that the support element can be screwed onto the mounting base.
[0014] Preferably, the mounting base has a circular cross-section in a top view, particularly in the area of the connecting element, or a cross-section that can be conceivably expanded to form a circular cross-section. The connecting element and the support element are designed such that the support element can be secured to the mounting base via a plug-and-twist movement. The attachment can thus be effected in the manner of a bayonet lock. This allows the support element to be secured to the mounting base particularly quickly and easily.
[0015] For this purpose, the mounting base can interact with a support element with an angular, in particular square, cross-section of the inner wall. Particularly preferably, the inner wall of the support element also has a circular cross-section. The connecting element and support element can thus be designed to interact reliably in a simple manner.
[0016] The circumferential positioning of the support element attached to the mounting base can be easily predicted. When fixed to a floor, the mounting base can be easily aligned so that the attached support element is correctly aligned with the attached blocking element, allowing the blocking element to move between a position that closes a passage and a position that opens the passage. The installation of such an access device is simplified.
[0017] Particularly preferably, the mounting foot has a plurality of claw-shaped connecting elements. The majority of the connecting elements each have curved outer contours which, when viewed from above, can be combined to form a circular cross-section. The connecting elements each form a longitudinal slot between them. Each of the claw-shaped connecting elements also forms a cross-section arranged approximately at right angles to the longitudinal slot. Projections corresponding to the connecting elements are arranged on the inner wall of the support element. The claw-shaped connecting elements and the corresponding projections are designed such that the projections are first inserted into the longitudinal slots between the connecting elements by a plug-in movement of the support element onto the mounting foot or the plurality of claw-shaped connecting elements.A subsequent rotating movement shifts the projections into the transverse slots. This creates a simple connection between the mounting base and the support elements. Installation of the access device is simplified.
[0018] Furthermore, the connecting elements and / or the projections are particularly preferably designed such that, during the rotational movement and the associated insertion of the projections into the transverse slots, a force acting in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the support element is applied to the support element. This allows a secure connection between the mounting base and the support element to be achieved in a simple manner. Any play between the mounting base and the support element is eliminated by the applied force. The support element is securely attached to the mounting base.
[0019] Particularly preferably, the projections are also claw-shaped, with the claw shape of the projections and the claw shape of the connecting elements corresponding to each other. This achieves a particularly reliable connection between the mounting base and the support element.
[0020] The projections are preferably formed by an insert secured to the inner wall of the support element. In particular, such an insert is welded to the inner wall of the support element. In this way, a plurality of projections can be easily introduced into the support element by welding an insert. The projections can be easily secured to the support element in a correctly aligned manner. This is particularly advantageous when the projections have a complex geometry, in particular when they are also claw-shaped. Such an access device can be obtained particularly easily.
[0021] The access device preferably comprises a stabilizing plate arranged in the region of the ends of the connecting elements facing away from the mounting plane of the mounting base. The stabilizing plate serves to support the ends of the connecting elements against each other. The advantage of using such a connecting plate is that the individual connecting elements can better absorb the forces applied to the support element, which are amplified by the slim shape of the support element and the resulting large lever. The resulting access device is particularly robust.
[0022] Further preferably, the stabilizing plate is detachably mounted on the connecting elements. To install the mounting foot, the stabilizing plate can be detached from the connecting elements, provided it is already secured there. This is particularly advantageous if the mounting foot is fixed, in particular screwed, to the floor in the area between the connecting elements. With the stabilizing plate removed, fastening elements such as screws can be inserted and secured more easily. After the mounting foot is fixed to a floor, the detachable stabilizing plate can then be secured to the connecting elements. This simplifies the installation of the access device.
[0023] The mounting base preferably has mounting points for securing the mounting base to a floor, which are particularly designed as a perforated ring. With such an arrangement, the mounting base can have a further recess inside the perforated ring. Cables to the access device can be routed through such a recess into the interior of the support element. One or more such cables can be used to supply power to the access device and / or send control signals to the access device, and any data acquired by the access device can be transmitted, for example, to a facility management system of the self-service store.
[0024] When using a stabilization plate, the stabilization plate then has a corresponding recess so that such a cable can also be guided through the stabilization plate.
[0025] The access device preferably comprises a securing device by means of which the support element and the mounting base can be secured against each other. This is particularly advantageous if the support element and the mounting base are designed to be secured to each other via a plug-and-turn movement. Such a securing device prevents the support element and the mounting base from being inadvertently separated from each other by a possibly unintentional rotational movement in the opposite direction.
[0026] Particularly preferably, the securing device comprises at least one first securing recess in the support element and at least one corresponding second securing recess in the mounting base, as well as a securing element. The first and second securing recesses are to be arranged such that, when the support element is secured to the mounting base, the securing recesses are aligned with one another, so that the securing element can be inserted into the aligned securing recesses. In particular, the securing element is designed as a threaded pin. This allows a securing device to be implemented in a particularly simple manner.
[0027] Preferably, at least one drive unit serving to pivot the blocking element and a control system comprising a sensor are arranged in the support element. The drive unit and the control system are designed such that, upon activation of the sensor, the control system activates the drive element such that the blocking element is pivoted into a position that allows access. Such an access device can automatically open and close the blocking element. A passage system equipped with such an access device is particularly convenient for a user, especially a customer of a self-service store.
[0028] The design of the access device with the support element and the mounting foot as two separate components enables simplified assembly of the drive unit and the control unit in the support element. In the case of known access devices in which the support element and the mounting foot are formed as a single piece, the drive unit and the control unit with the sensor must be introduced into the support element through a lateral maintenance flap and mounted there. In the case of the present access device, the support element can be open from below, in particular as a hollow cylinder. The drive unit and the control unit with the sensor, as well as any other elements to be introduced into the support element, can then be pushed into the support element through this opening at the bottom. This significantly simplifies the manufacture of a corresponding access device. The support element of the access device preferably has a maintenance flap.
[0029] Further advantages and details of the invention can be found in the following description of the figures, which illustrate exemplary embodiments of the invention. The figures schematically show: Fig. 1 shows an access device according to the invention with a support element and the locking element pivotably arranged on the support element; Fig. 2 shows an exploded view of the lower area of the access device according to Fig. 1 with the lower region of the support element, the mounting base, a stabilizing plate, and a securing device; Fig. 3 shows a view into the lower part of the support element with an insert fixed to the inner wall of the support element and forming claw-shaped projections.
[0030] Identical or similarly functioning parts are provided with identical reference numerals where appropriate. Individual technical features of the exemplary embodiments described below can be combined with the features of claim 1 as well as with the features of individual previously described exemplary embodiments to form objects according to the invention.
[0031] Fig. 1 shows an access device 2 according to the invention with a support element 4 and a locking element 6. The locking element 6 is pivotally mounted on the support element 4. The access device 2 is shown in the mounted position. The locking element 6 is pushed onto a mounting base 8. The mounting base 8 is in Fig. 1 not visible, since it is arranged inside the support element 4. The support element 4 conceals the mounting foot 8 not only in a viewing direction from above along the longitudinal direction of the support element 4, but also in other viewing directions, in particular in a viewing direction from the side.
[0032] In the illustrated embodiment, the support element 4 is designed as an elongated element with a round cross-section, thus columnar. Alternative cross-sections, such as polygon-like cross-sections, are also possible.
[0033] Fig. 2 shows a detailed section of the lower part of the support element 4 of the access device 2. In addition to the lower part of the support element 4, the mounting foot 8 is in Fig. 2 shown. In the illustrated embodiment, the mounting base 8 has the connecting elements 10. These are cutouts of a cylinder jacket and can be completed to form a circle in a top view. The connecting elements 10 are claw-shaped and extend at right angles to a mounting plane 12 of the mounting base 8. This is formed by the underside of the mounting base 8. A central recess is provided in the mounting base 8 through which cables for supplying power to the access device 2 or for transmitting data to and from the access device 2 can be routed.
[0034] Holes are arranged around the central recess but between the connecting elements 10. Screws can be inserted through these holes to secure the mounting base 8 to a floor.
[0035] In the Fig. 2 In the illustrated embodiment, the access device 2 additionally comprises a stabilizing plate 14. The stabilizing plate 14 also has a central recess for guiding one or more cables through the stabilizing plate 14. The stabilizing plate 14 can be detachably arranged on the connecting elements 10. For this purpose, the connecting elements 10 have corresponding recesses into which corresponding pins of the stabilizing plate 14 can be inserted. The stabilizing plate 14 can be secured to the connecting elements 10 in the manner of a bayonet lock. The detachable arrangement of the stabilizing plate 14 facilitates the fixing of the mounting base 8 to the floor. The stabilizing plate 14 can be fixed to the connecting elements 10 after the mounting base 8 has been fixed to the floor. The holes into which screws are inserted to fix the mounting foot 8 to the floor are easier and more conveniently accessible without the stabilizing plate 14.
[0036] Fig. 2 further shows the securing device. The securing device comprises a first securing recess 16 on the support element 4 and a second securing recess 18 on the mounting foot 8, in the exemplary embodiment arranged on one of the connecting elements 10. When the support element 4 is secured to the mounting foot 8, the first securing recess 16 and the second securing recess 18 are aligned with one another, so that a securing element 20 designed as a threaded pin can be inserted into the securing recesses 16, 18. When the threaded pin 20 is inserted, the support element 4 and the mounting foot 8 cannot be rotated relative to one another. The support element 4 is secured against accidental detachment from the mounting foot 8.
[0037] Fig. 3 shows the lower part of the support element 4 in a view in which an inner region of the support element 4, which is designed as a hollow cylinder, can be seen. The hollow cylinder forms an inner wall 22 of the support element 4. An insert 24 is inserted into the support element 4. The insert 24 is welded to the inner wall 22. The insert 24 forms projections that interact with the claw-shaped connecting elements 10 of the mounting base 8. In the illustrated embodiment, the projections are also claw-shaped.
[0038] Alternatively, the projections can also be arranged individually on the inner wall 22 of the support element 4 and / or have a shape other than a claw-shaped configuration. The use of an insert 24 also facilitates assembly with differently shaped projections.
