[0024] THE figures 1 And 2 illustrate an acoustic ventilation box according to the invention, in perspective, seen respectively from the front and from the back.

[0025] This acoustic ventilation box is an industrial device whose dimensions can vary from one to several meters, depending on the application. This acoustic ventilation box contains a powerful ventilation device, suitable for extracting air from an enclosure, a machine or any other equipment, and for discharging it into an exhaust circuit. Conversely, the acoustic ventilation box can also be used to blow air. Any gas other than air can of course be used for this ventilation function.

[0026] The acoustic ventilation box comprises an enclosure 1 which is provided with an inlet orifice 2 and an outlet orifice 3. The ventilation circuit is arranged in this enclosure 1 and, inside the enclosure, is connected between the inlet orifice 2 and the outlet orifice 3.

[0027] The ventilation circuit of such an acoustic ventilation box is known to those skilled in the art and will not be described in more detail here. It has not been shown in the figures. This ventilation circuit conventionally comprises a ventilation device such as a turbine, a fan, a pump, etc., as well as the conduits and fittings necessary to connect the ventilation device in a fluid-tight manner to the inlet 2 and outlet 3 ports.

[0028] In the present example, the ventilation device implemented is a centrifugal extractor fan, the inlet of which is connected to the inlet port 2 and the outlet of which is connected to the outlet port 3.

[0029] In this example, the acoustic ventilation box comprises internal cooling means enabling air to circulate inside the enclosure 1 in order to cool the ventilation circuit, and in particular the motor of the ventilation device. The acoustic ventilation box thus comprises a cooling inlet 4 and a cooling outlet 5. On the figures 1 And 2 , the cooling inlets 4 and 5 are further provided with a protective cover 6, allowing the cooling air to pass through, and contributing to acoustic attenuation.

[0030] The acoustic ventilation box also comprises, in this example, support profiles 7 forming a raised support which allows easy movement of the box by pallet truck.

[0031] There figure 3 is an exploded view of the acoustic ventilation box, showing the different elements of its structure. In this exploded view, the ventilation circuit has not been shown, as explained previously. This ventilation circuit comprises in this example a centrifugal fan fixed directly to the wall bearing the inlet orifice 2.

[0032] The acoustic ventilation box has no frame or supporting structure on which panels would be fixed. The structural panels are therefore self-supporting. The acoustic ventilation box here comprises an enclosure 1 formed of structural panels providing the mechanical strength of the assembly as well as its watertightness.

[0033] Enclosure 1 comprises structural panels, whose function is mechanical strength, in addition to their function of forming the envelope, and also comprises removable panels, closing the envelope but allowing easy access to the interior space of the envelope for maintenance purposes in particular.

[0034] The structural panels in this example are: a left side panel 10; a right side panel 11; a cover panel 12; a bottom panel 13.

[0035] The removable panels in this example are: a front panel 8; a rear panel 9.

[0036] This designation of the panels relates to the example described here and illustrated in the figures, following the orientation of the acoustic ventilation box as it is shown, in order to clarify the description. This designation should in no way be limiting, it being understood that the acoustic ventilation box can be installed in any other position, the bottom panel 13 for example being able to be mounted on the floor, as well as fixed to the wall or ceiling.

[0037] Each structural panel is formed of walls joined by internal assembly folds.

[0038] In this example, the left side panel 10 consists of two joined walls: a rear wall 14 and a front wall 15. The right side panel is made in an identical manner, with a rear wall 16 and a front wall 17. The cooling outlet 5 is, in this example, mounted on the rear wall 16 of the right side panel 11.

[0039] In this example, the bottom panel 13 also consists of two joined walls: a front wall 18 and a rear wall 19, and the cover panel 12 also consists of two joined walls: a left wall 20 and a right wall 21.

[0040] The front panel 8 here consists of a single wall directly fixed to the front face of the acoustic box. In this example, this front face of the acoustic box also includes a crosspiece 22. This front face also receives four brackets 23 at its four corners.

[0041] Similarly, the rear panel 9 here consists of a single wall directly fixed to the rear face of the acoustic box, also with a crosspiece 22, as well as four brackets 23 at the four corners of the rear face.

[0042] The front panel 8 and the rear panel 9 each comprise in this example a set of at least one reinforcing rib 52 which make it possible to stiffen the panel and to reduce the sheet thickness thereof. In the example illustrated, these reinforcing ribs 52 are constituted by L-shaped profiles. These profiles are fixed to the panel 8, 9 by any suitable means such as riveting, screwing / bolting, welding, etc.

[0043] The exploded view of the figure 3 makes visible the cooling inlet 4 which here consists of an air inlet grille and its protective cover 6. In this example, the cooling device comprises an air extractor fan mounted at the cooling outlet 5, the air then entering through the cooling inlet 4 and circulating inside the enclosure 1.

[0044] There figure 4 is a partial perspective view of the front wall 15 of the left side panel 10. In this example, the rear wall 14 and the front wall 15 of the left side panel 10, as well as the rear wall 16 and the front wall 17 of the right side panel 11, are all identical.

[0045] In reference to the figures 3 And 4 , the front wall 15 (and therefore also the walls 14, 16, 17) comprises a main partition 26 which here extends along a plane. This wall 15 comprises an internal assembly fold 27 on its edge which is intended to be assembled with the other wall (the rear wall 14) of the left side panel 10.

[0046] In this example, the front wall 15 (and therefore also the walls 14, 16, 17) further comprises a first external assembly fold 28 and a second external assembly fold 29 located on the edges adjacent to the internal assembly fold 27, on either side of the latter.

[0047] There figure 5 is a sectional view of the acoustic ventilation box, illustrating in particular: the internal assembly of the left side panel 10, i.e. the joining of the rear wall 14 and the front wall 15 by their respective internal assembly fold 27; the internal assembly of the right side panel 11, i.e. the joining of the rear wall 16 and the front wall 17 by their respective internal assembly fold 27; the assembly of the left side panel 10, the right side panel 11 and the bottom panel 13, thanks to the external assembly folds 28, 29 of the left side panel 10 and the right side panel 11.

[0048] There figure 6 is a detail view of box VI of the figure 5 showing the cooperation of the internal assembly folds 27. With reference to these figures, each internal assembly fold 27 comprises: a first fold 30 forming a fixing edge 31 which is transverse to the main partition 26 (in this example, the fixing edge 31 is perpendicular to the main partition 26); a second fold 32 forming a stiffening rib 33 which is transverse to the fixing edge 31 (in this example, the stiffening rib 33 is perpendicular to the fixing edge 31).

[0049] In reference to the figure 6 , the rear wall 14 and the front wall 15 of the left side panel 10 are joined by their internal assembly fold 27, by a plane-to-plane fixing of their respective fixing edges 31. This plane-to-plane assembly is maintained by means of bolts passing through these two fixing edges 31. The bolts (or any other means of fixing) are not shown in the figures, the figure 5 illustrates only the through holes 34 on the fixing flanges 31. The same applies to the rear wall 16 and the front wall 17 of the left side panel 11.

[0050] The construction of the acoustic ventilation box according to the invention allows this plane-on-plane assembly which ensures sufficient sealing for this application. Optionally, a seal may be provided between the fixing edges 31 or on the periphery of these fixing edges 31.

[0051] The stiffening ribs 33 are also useful for wedging an acoustic attenuation panel, for example made of polyurethane foam or any other sound-absorbing material (not shown in the figures).

[0052] Likewise, the front wall 18 and the rear wall 19 of the bottom panel 13 are joined by their internal assembly fold 27, by a plane-to-plane fixing of their respective fixing edges 31.

[0053] In this example, for the left side panel 10, the right side panel 11 and the bottom panel 13, the junction of the walls 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, constituting each of these panels 10, 11, 13 is made along a median plane perpendicular to these three panels 10, 11, 13. These three adjacent structural panels 10, 11, 13 thus comprise walls joined along the same joint plane.

[0054] The cover panel 12 is formed by the junction of its left wall 20 and its right wall 21 using internal assembly folds 27, assembled along a plane perpendicular to the previous joint plane.

[0055] The enclosure 1 thus has four structural panels 10, 11, 12, 13 opposed two by two. The walls constituting these structural panels are joined along one or other of the two perpendicular planes described.

[0056] The external assembly folds 28, 29 of the left side panel 10 and the right side panel 11 have a constitution identical to the internal assembly folds 27. Each wall 14, 15, 16, 17 constituting the left side panel 10 and the right side panel 11 thus comprises two external assembly folds 28, 29 (one on the side of the bottom panel 13 and the other on the side of the cover panel 12). Like the internal assembly folds 27, each of these external assembly folds 28, 29 comprises a first fold 30 forming a fixing edge 31, and a second fold 32 forming a stiffening rib 33.

[0057] The external assembly folds 28, 29 allow the fixing respectively on the cover panel 12 and on the bottom panel 13, by a plane-to-plane junction between the fixing edge 31 of these external assembly folds 28, 29 and the main partition 26 of the walls 18, 19, 20, 21 constituting respectively the cover panel 12 and the bottom panel 13.

[0058] In reference to the figures 3 , 4 And 5 , the front wall 15 of the left side panel 10 (and therefore also the walls 14, 16, 17) further comprises a bearing fold 35 on its edge opposite the internal assembly fold 27.

[0059] This 35-carrier folding includes: a first fold 36 forming a support 37 which is transverse to the main partition 26 (more precisely, in this example, the support 37 is perpendicular to the main partition 26); a second fold 38 forming a rim 39 for the support 37, the rim 39 being transverse to the support 37 (more precisely, in this example, the rim 39 is perpendicular to the support 37), the support 37 here being a lateral support; a third fold 40 forming a support segment 41 which is transverse to the rim 39 (more precisely, in this example, the support segment 41 is perpendicular to the rim 39).

[0060] The support segment 41 allows the mounting of the removable panels (here the front panel 8 and the rear panel 9).

[0061] There figure 8 illustrates the lower part of the acoustic box, here devoid of the front panel 8 and the front wall 17 of the right side panel 11, in order to make the assembly of the bottom panel 13 visible. The figures 9 And 10 are detailed views of inserts 9 and 10 of the figure 8 .

[0062] Each wall 18, 19 of the bottom panel 13 comprises a main partition 26 and an internal assembly fold 27 which comprises (as does the internal assembly fold of the side panels 10, 11): a first fold 30 forming a fixing edge 31 which is transverse to the main partition 26 (in this example, the fixing edge 31 is perpendicular to the main partition 26); a second fold 32 forming a stiffening rib 33 which is transverse to the fixing edge 31 (in this example, the stiffening rib 33 is perpendicular to the fixing edge 31).

[0063] The rear wall 19 and the front wall 18 of the bottom panel 13 are joined by their internal assembly fold 27, by a plane-to-plane fixing of their respective fixing flanges 31. This plane-to-plane assembly is maintained by means of bolts passing through these two fixing flanges 31, and can optionally receive a seal. The figures only illustrate the through holes 34 on the fixing flanges 31.

[0064] The walls 18, 19 of the bottom panel 13 also comprise acoustic attenuation panels (not shown in the figures), which can be wedged by the stiffening ribs 33 of the internal assembly fold 27.

[0065] The support profiles 7 are here directly fixed to the bottom panel 13.

[0066] The internal assembly fold 27 of the walls 18, 19 of the bottom panel 13 does not extend along the entire length of the corresponding side. The internal assembly fold 27 ends set back from the two edges, so that a bearing surface 42 is provided on either side of the internal assembly fold 27 (see figure 8 And 9 ).

[0067] In reference to the figure 10 , the support surfaces 42 allow the continuous support of all the assembled side panels 10, 11. The external assembly folds 29 allow the side panels 10, 11 to be fixed to the bottom panel 13 by the plane-to-plane fixing of their fixing edge 31 against the edge of the side panels, including on the support surface 42.

[0068] There figure 10 also shows the assembly of the bottom panel 13 with one of the side panels 10, according to the same joint plane for all the internal assembly folds 27.

[0069] The walls 18, 19 of the bottom panel 13 also comprise, on their edges opposite the internal assembly fold 27, a supporting fold 35 similar to the supporting fold of the side panels 10, 11, except that here the supporting fold 37 is a cross member and not a lateral supporting fold.

[0070] This folding of 35 bearing therefore includes: a first fold 36 forming a support 37 which is transverse to the main partition 26 (more precisely, in this example, the support 37 is perpendicular to the main partition 26); a second fold 38 forming a rim 39 for the support 37, the rim 39 being transverse to the support 37 (more precisely, in this example, the rim 39 is perpendicular to the support 37); a third fold 40 forming a support segment 41 which is transverse to the rim 39 (more precisely, in this example, the support segment 41 is perpendicular to the rim 39).

[0071] Furthermore, in a similar manner to the internal assembly fold 27 of the walls 18, 19 of the bottom panel 13, the supporting folds 35 provide a bearing surface 43 on the main partition 26, on either side of the supporting fold 35. These bearing surfaces 43 are intended to support the supporting folds 35 of the side panels 10, 11. figure 8 illustrates (on its left part) the juxtaposition of the two supporting folds 35 thanks to this support surface 43 (the supporting fold 35 of the front wall 15 of the left side panel 10, and the supporting fold 35 of the front wall 18 of the bottom panel 13). Holes on each of the supporting folds 35 allow the fixing of the brackets 23 to secure the supporting folds 35. A perfect seal of the corners of the acoustic box is thus obtained (these corners being folds of the same material, without joints) as well as, simultaneously, a structure ensuring the mechanical strength of the assembly.

[0072] There figure 11 represents in perspective the upper part of the ventilation box, without its cover panel 12.

[0073] The front and rear faces of the ventilation box further comprise crosspieces 22 whose structure is similar to the supporting fold 35. These crosspieces 22 are arranged transversely between the supporting folds 35 of the side panels 10, 11, and are fixed using the brackets 23. In a variant not illustrated, the cover panel may be of identical construction to the bottom panel 13, with itself supporting folds 35 in place of the crosspieces 22.

[0074] The front panel 8 and the rear panel 9 are directly fixed to the support segments 41 of the support folds 35 so as to removably close the front and rear faces of the ventilation box. The crosspieces 22 also have a rim 51, in the same plane as the support segments 41, on which the front panel 8 and the rear panel 9 rest.

[0075] On the figure 11 , the fixing edges 31 of the internal assembly folds 28 of the side panels 10, 11 extend along the same plane, which is here horizontal. The crosspieces 22 also each comprise an edge 44 which extends in this same plane.

[0076] In addition, the supporting folds 35 of the side panels 10, 11 comprise a transverse fold 50 forming an end support 45 which also extends along this horizontal plane. The end support 45 is provided at each end of the supporting folds 35 (see also figure 13 ).

[0077] A support plane for fixing the cover panel 12 is thus provided on the upper part of the ventilation box, by the edges 31, 44 and the end supports 45.

[0078] There figure 12 is a detail view of insert XII of the figure 3 and illustrates the arrangement of the supporting folds 35 with the end support 45 extending between the main partition 26 and the stiffening rib 33.

[0079] Optionally, sealing properties can be improved by installing gaskets on the various junctions, or welding beads.

[0080] There figure 13 is a detail view of box XIII of the figure 5 , and illustrates the junction between the bottom panel 13, the left side panel 10 and the rear panel 9, seen from inside the enclosure 1.

[0081] The end support 45 is fixed against the main partition 26 of the corresponding wall (on the figure 13 , this is the rear wall 14 of the left side panel 10). The end support 45 is thus arranged in the same plane as the fixing edge 31 of the external assembly fold 29.

[0082] There figure 14 is a detail view of box XIV of the figure 2 , illustrating the assembly of the left wall 20 and the right wall 21 of the cover panel 12. Each wall 20, 21 of the cover panel 12 also comprises a main partition 26 and an internal assembly fold 27.

[0083] Like the internal assembly folds 27 described previously, this internal assembly fold 27 comprises: a first fold 30 forming a fixing edge 31 which is transverse to the main partition 26 (in this example, the fixing edge 31 is perpendicular to the main partition 26); a second fold 32 forming a stiffening rib 33 which is transverse to the fixing edge 31 (in this example, the stiffening rib 33 is perpendicular to the fixing edge 31).

[0084] In this example, one of the assembly folds 27 (that of the left wall 20) further comprises an additional fold, a third fold 47, forming a protective edge 48 so that the internal assembly fold 27 of the left wall 20 encompasses and protects the internal assembly fold 27 of the right wall 21. Thanks to the third fold 47, the internal assembly fold 47 of the left wall covers the stiffening rib 33 of the internal assembly fold 27 of the right wall 21.

[0085] Compared to the assemblies of the walls of the side panels 10, 11 and the bottom panel 13, this arrangement corresponds to a second embodiment of the assembly folds, which is particularly suitable for protection against possible projections.

[0086] The cover panel 12 further comprises a peripheral rim 49 extending around its entire circumference. figure 15 is a detail view of box XV of the figure 2 and illustrates this peripheral edge 49 formed by folds from the main partition 26. This peripheral edge 49 also improves the protection offered by the cover panel 12.

[0087] Alternative embodiments may be envisaged. The different embodiments presented for each of the panels 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 may be combined. The orientation references (left, right, top, bottom) are given to facilitate the description and may be modified.

[0088] The structure according to the invention allows a rapid and inexpensive manufacturing process in which each panel is first assembled, by fixing the walls constituting it using internal assembly folds, then the panels are assembled together using external assembly folds.

[0089] The various panels are preferably made of folded sheet metal according to the arrangements described, which is a particularly advantageous embodiment, but can also be made of any other suitable material, such as composite materials.
