Abstract
Description
[0001] TITLE
[0002] SANITARY ARRANGEMENT
[0003] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0004] The present invention relates to a sanitary arrangement according to claim 1 as well as an installation situation according to claim 11 and a method according to claim 12.
[0005] STATE OF THE ART
[0006] Downpipes are used to carry wastewater away and are usually arranged vertically in buildings. However, many downpipes also have sections that run horizontally or are slightly inclined to the horizontal, for example, at an angle of a few degrees. The vertical section is connected to the horizontal section via a bend to divert the flow from the vertical to the horizontal.
[0007] The transition from a downpipe to a diverter bend usually occurs at a passage in a building floor. This is where the present invention of the plumbing arrangement comes into play.
[0008] PRESENTATION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] The present invention is based on the object of providing a plumbing arrangement for a floor penetration that is compactly mountable. In particular, the plumbing arrangement should be designed such that, in the installed position, the distance between a deflection bend and the underside of the floor is as small as possible.
[0010] This object is achieved by the subject matter according to claim 1. Accordingly, a sanitary arrangement comprises a pipe section with a pipe channel leading from an inlet to an outlet and extending along a first central axis, and a deflection bend comprising a first pipe section which extends along a central axis, a curved section adjoining this first pipe section and extending along a center line curved about at least one curved axis, and a second pipe section adjoining the curved section and extending along a central axis. In the region of the outlet, the pipe section has a bearing point on the pipe section side with a circular cylindrical bearing surface. The deflection bend has, on the first pipe section, a bearing point on the deflection bend side with a circular cylindrical bearing surface. The pipe section and the deflection bend are connectable via their bearing points, such that the two circular cylindrical bearing surfaces are in surface contact with each other when connected. The circular cylindrical bearing surface of the first pipe section extends from the front edge of the first pipe section toward the central axis. A separating cut, which can be made in the area of the circular cylindrical bearing surface, allows the first pipe section to be shortened, such that the deflection bend can be adapted to the installation situation.
[0011] The separating cut allows the first pipe section to be shortened. This allows the relative position of the deflection bend to the pipe section to be adjusted to the structural conditions, for example, the thickness of a floor through which the plumbing system is installed.
[0012] When performing the separating cut, a part of the first pipe section is severed, thereby shortening the first pipe section.
[0013] The second central axis is inclined at an angle to the first central axis. The angle between the first and second central axes is preferably greater than 90°. The angle is particularly preferably in the range of 90° to 95°.
[0014] The separating cut is optional. If the length of the second bearing point is suitable, the separating cut can be omitted.
[0015] Preferably, the plumbing assembly is part of a downpipe for draining a multiphase flow medium, in particular consisting of water, solids, and air. The pipe diameter of the first pipe section and the deflection bend is preferably between 10 and 300 millimeters.
[0016] Preferably, the deflection bend has a maximum marking to indicate the maximum shortening of the first pipe section, wherein the marking is positioned such that a residual length of the circular cylindrical bearing surface remains after the separating cut has been made.
[0017] The maximum marking indicates the maximum permissible shortening of the first pipe section so that a secure connection to the pipe section is still possible.
[0018] In particular, it is ensured that the surface contact between the bearing surface of the pipe section and the bearing surface of the deflection bend can be provided even with a maximum removal of a part of the first pipe section.
[0019] Preferably, the distance between said marking and front edge is in the range of 100 millimeters to 300 millimeters.
[0020] Preferably, the pipe section has a pipe socket extending laterally relative to the pipe channel, which has a deflection section opening, in particular tangentially, into the pipe channel. The ability to cut the first pipe section of the deflection bend to length provides the advantage that the position of the pipe socket, i.e., the height of the pipe socket, can be adjusted. Furthermore, the advantage is that the relative position between the pipe section and the deflection bend can be adjusted, so that the pipe socket of the pipe section and the second pipe section of the deflection bend are positioned at the desired, in particular minimal, distance from a top and bottom of a building floor or ceiling.
[0021] Preferably, the pipe section-side bearing surface is designed as an inner surface, and the deflection bend-side bearing surface is designed as an outer surface, such that the deflection bend-side bearing point can be inserted into the pipe section-side bearing point against the direction of flow. This variant is advantageous for the installer because, by previously inserting the pipe section and deflection bend together, they can very easily mark the part to be cut to length on the outside of the deflection bend.
[0022] Preferably, a sealing element is arranged between the bearing surfaces.
[0023] Preferably, the bearing point on the deflection bend side extends from the front edge to a stop section, with the distance between the front edge and the stop section being in the range of 150 millimeters to 350 millimeters. Preferably, the bearing point on the deflection bend side has several spaced-apart markings on the outside, which provide the installer with a cutting aid.
[0024] The markings are, for example, inscriptions applied to the bearing location, such as prints or laser markings. The markings do not extend completely around the circumference of the bearing location. Alternatively, the markings are notches applied to the bearing location.
[0025] Preferably, several markings are arranged at equal distances from one another.
[0026] Preferably, the deflection bend has a flow divider and a guide structure, wherein the annular flow flowing from the pipe section can be broken up by the flow divider and can be guided to the guide structure, wherein the flow divider is arranged on the inside in the first pipe section, and the guide structure is arranged on the inside in the curve section on the outside of the curve.
[0027] The advantage of arranging the flow divider in the deflection bend is that radial alignment between the pipe section and the deflection bend is not necessary. This allows the pipe section to be positioned at any angle relative to the deflection bend, thus unimpeding the flow of wastewater from the flow divider to the guide structure.
[0028] Preferably, the position of the flow divider is marked on the outside of the bearing point on the deflection bend side, such that a cutting cut to be made during the cutting process does not fall into the area of the flow divider. The position of the flow divider can be marked using the maximum marking described below or by a separate marking.
[0029] Preferably, the flow divider is located after the maximum marking in the direction of flow, which also prevents a separating cut to be made during the cutting process from falling into the area of the flow divider.
[0030] Preferably, the guide structure comprises a channel-shaped guide section and at least two guide steps with stepped surfaces on each side of the channel-shaped guide section. The guide surfaces of the flow divider and the stepped surfaces are arranged relative to one another in such a way that a partial volume of an annular flow opened up by the flow divider is directed to the stepped surfaces.
[0031] The arrangement of the flow divider, which directs the water of the ruptured annular flow onto the stepped surfaces, has the advantage of distributing the entire water volume of the annular flow between the channel-shaped guide section and the guide steps. This allows for a directed flow without lateral waves. Furthermore, the arrangement of the guide steps distributes the confluence of the flow medium over a greater length in the curved section, thereby calming the flow overall and reducing loss.
[0032] Furthermore, the cross-sectional shape of the curved section is designed by the arrangement of the guide structure in such a way that a movement of the flow medium, in particular of the water and the solids, transverse to the flow direction is suppressed or prevented.
[0033] The guide steps and the wall surfaces preferably run in the flow direction of the flow medium.
[0034] Preferably, the pipe section-side bearing point and the deflection bend-side bearing point are designed such that the pipe section and the deflection bend can be pivoted relative to one another in the connected state, such that the relative angular position of the pipe section and the deflection bend is adjustable.
[0035] Preferably, the deflection bend on the second pipe section has a second deflection bend-side bearing point which can be connected to a drain pipe.
[0036] In the installed position, the second drain pipe typically runs as a horizontal pipe.
[0037] Preferably, the inlet is connected to a downpipe. The downpipe typically runs vertically.
[0038] In a further development, the pipe section can be connected to another pipe section. The other pipe section is connected to the inlet of the other pipe section. Preferably, the other pipe section has a lateral pipe socket with an inlet section. If present, the downpipe in this embodiment is connected to the other pipe section.
[0039] An installation situation comprises a plumbing arrangement as described above and a building floor with a top and a bottom, as well as a passage extending from the top to the bottom through the building floor. When viewed in the installed position, the pipe section lies partially above the top and extends from the top partially into the passage. Preferably, the deflection bend extends partially into the passage from the bottom.
[0040] A method for creating the said installation situation is characterized in that in a first step the pipe section is positioned, in a subsequent second step the deflection bend is adjusted based on the position of the pipe section, and in a third step the deflection bend is connected to the first bearing point of the pipe section with the bearing point on the deflection bend side.
[0041] In connection with the installation situation, this method has the advantage of significantly simplifying assembly. A particular advantage is that only two parts need to be joined together.
[0042] Preferably, the second step comprises performing a separating cut on the deflection-bend-side bearing surface or maintaining the length of the deflection-bend-side bearing surface.
[0043] Further embodiments are specified in the dependent claims.

[0051] DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0052] Figures 1 to 6 show a plumbing arrangement according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the variant shown, the plumbing arrangement comprises a pipe section 1 and a deflection bend 2. The pipe section 1 and the deflection bend 2 are connectable to one another and form part of a wastewater line.
[0053] The pipe section 1 comprises a pipe channel 12, which extends along a central axis M1 from an inlet 10 to an outlet 11. The inlet 10 can be connected to a downpipe of a sewer line, not shown in the figures.
[0054] In the embodiment shown, the pipe section 1 further comprises a pipe socket 15 with a deflection section 16. The pipe socket 15 runs laterally to the pipe channel 12, and the deflection section 16 opens into the pipe channel 12. Preferably, the deflection section 16 opens substantially tangentially into the pipe channel 12. A sanitary article, such as a toilet bowl, a urinal, a shower element, etc., can be connected to the pipe socket 15.
[0055] The deflection bend 2 comprises a first pipe section 20, a curved section 21, and a second pipe section 22. The curved section 21 lies between the first pipe section 20 and the second pipe section 22. The first pipe section 20 extends along a central axis M20. The curved section 21 adjoining the first pipe section 20 extends along a center line M curved around at least one curved axis K. The second pipe section 22 extends along a central axis M22. The central axis M20 is substantially perpendicular to the central axis M22.
[0056] In the area of the outlet 11, the pipe section 1 has a pipe-side bearing point 13 with a circular-cylindrical bearing surface 14. The deflection bend 2 has a deflection-bend-side bearing point 23 with a circular-cylindrical bearing surface 24 on the first pipe section 20. The pipe section 1 and the deflection bend 2 can be connected to each other via their bearing points. The connection is such that the two circular-cylindrical bearing surfaces 14, 24 are in surface contact with each other when connected.
[0057] The circular-cylindrical bearing surface 24 of the first pipe section 2 extends from the front edge 25 of the first pipe section 2 in the direction of the central axis M20. The circular-cylindrical bearing surface 24 extends from the pipe end of the first pipe section 20 in the direction of the curved section. By means of a separating cut that can be made in the region of the circular-cylindrical bearing surface 24, a shortening of the first pipe section 20 can be provided. The shortening is such that the deflection bend 2 is adapted to the installation situation. In particular, the shortening allows the distance between the inlet 10 of the pipe section 1 and the central axis M22 of the second pipe section to be adjusted. The distance is designated by reference symbol A in Figure 1. This distance adjustment has the advantage that the sanitary arrangement according to the invention can be adapted to different floor thicknesses, as will be explained with reference to Figures 3 to 6.
[0058] From Figures 1 and 2, it can be seen that the deflection bend 2 has several markings 3, 4. These markings 3, 4 assist the installer in making the separating cut. Marking 3 is a maximum marking. The maximum marking serves to indicate the maximum shortening of the first pipe section 20. Marking 3 is positioned such that, after the separating cut has been made, a residual length of the circular-cylindrical bearing surface 24 remains. The residual length is the length between marking 3 and a stop section 26, which delimits the end region of the bearing surface 24. The other markings 4 are arranged at equal distances from one another and provide the installer with a cutting aid.
[0059] The deflection bend side bearing point 23 extends with its bearing surface 24 from the front edge 25 to the above-mentioned stop section 26. Preferably, the distance between the front edge 25 and the stop section 26 is in the range of 150 millimeters to 350 millimeters.
[0060] In the illustrated embodiment, the pipe-section-side bearing surface 14 is designed as an inner surface. The deflection-bend-side bearing surface 23 is designed as an outer surface. The inner and outer surfaces are designed such that the deflection-bend-side bearing point 23 can be inserted into the pipe-section-side bearing point 13 against the flow direction.
[0061] The deflection bend 2 further comprises a flow divider 27 and a guide structure 28. The flow divider 27 is arranged in the first pipe section 20, and the guide structure 28 is arranged in the curved section 21. The flow divider 27 and the guide structure 28 are each arranged inside the deflection bend 2 and serve to guide the flow in the curved section. The flow divider 27 can be used to break up the annular flow flowing from the pipe section 1 and to direct it to the guide structure 28. The guide structure 28 is arranged inside the curved section 21 on the outside of the curved section and guides the wastewater on the outside of the curved section 21.
[0062] Furthermore, the deflection bend 3 has a second deflection-bend-side bearing point 29 on the second pipe section 22, which can be connected to a drain pipe 5, which is shown in Figures 3 to 6.
[0063] Figures 3 to 6 show an installation situation. An installation situation comprises a sanitary arrangement as described above and a building floor 6 with an upper side 60 and a lower side 61, as well as a passage 62. The passage extends from the upper side 60 to the lower side 61 through the building floor 6. Viewed in the installed position, the pipe section 1 lies partially above the upper side 60 and extends from the upper side 60 partially into the passage 62. The deflection bend 2 extends from the lower side 41 partially into the passage 62. In the embodiment shown, the pipe socket 15 lies above the upper side 60.
[0064] In a further development (not shown), pipe section 1 can be connected to another pipe section. The other pipe section is connected to the inlet 10 of pipe section 1. Preferably, the other pipe section has a lateral pipe socket with an inlet section.
[0065] In the embodiment shown, the second bearing point 29 on the deflection bend side is connected to a drainpipe 5. The drainpipe 5 is secured to the building floor 6 via a pipe clamp 7. Figure 3 shows the installation situation before assembly. Figures 4, 5 and 6 show the installation situation after assembly, whereby the thickness of the building floor 6, i.e. the distance between the top side 60 and the bottom side 61, is different in each case. Because the first pipe section 20 can be cut to length, the pipe section 1 and the deflection bend 2 can each be mounted such that the second pipe section of the deflection bend 2 lies as close as possible to the bottom side 61.
[0066] A method for creating an installation situation is characterized in that in a first step the pipe section 1 is positioned, in a subsequent second step the deflection bend 2 is adjusted based on the position of the pipe section 1, and in a third step the deflection bend 2 is connected to the deflection bend-side bearing point 23 with the pipe section-side bearing point 13 of the pipe section.
[0067] The second step, i.e. the adjustment step, comprises either performing a separating cut on the deflection-bend-side bearing surface 24 or maintaining the length of the deflection-bend-side bearing surface 24.
