Description

Technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to a picnic sheet, more particularly, to a picnic sheet that can be folded to compact state and is convenient to carry, and is detrimental to dirt and the front sheet can be removed and washed.

[0002] Furthermore, the present invention also relates to a picnic sheet that can be connected together to expand its surface area. Background Art

[0003] In recent years, outdoor camping and other leisure activities have become increasingly popular, and a variety of equipment and tools related to these activities have been provided.

[0004] Especially in glamping and other activities, there are many occasions when groups go outside to sit in a circle with many people, chatting and eating together.

[0005] In such cases, people do not sit directly on the ground, but usually lay a picnic sheet or other rug and sit on it.

[0006] Currently, thin and monolayer sheets made of synthetic resins such as PP and PE and sheets with aluminum foil are widely used as picnic sheets.

[0007] If the picnic sheet has a relatively large surface area, it is folded and assembled, and when it is used, it is unfolded and spread out from its folded state.

[0008] After use, the picnic sheet is folded and rolled up small to store.

[0009] However, when such picnic sheets are folded, dirt and other debris adhering to the back side inadvertently adhere to the front side (transfer phenomenon).

[0010] When folded, the dirt and debris that adheres to the sheet on the back side in contact with the ground comes into contact with the front side of the sheet, so that the front side of the sheet also becomes dirty.

[0011] As a solution to this drawback, a picnic sheet is provided that is folded in two so that the clean front sides face each other when folding (Patent Literature 1).

[0012] This picnic sheet can accommodate tools used on the picnic sheet by making the sheet from the sheet-shape into bag-shape.

[0013] The sheet main body 2 is formed as foldable in two, and is formed so that the edges overlap when folded, and the overlapping edges are provided with binding members that join the edges together to form a bag shape as a whole.

[0014] Therefore, there is certainly no dirt on the back side that would adhere to the front side.

[0015] However, since the dirty back side now becomes the front side (outside), the dirt adheres to people's clothes when they carry it around.

[0016] Another drawback is that such a two-fold design cannot be adapted to picnic sheets with a large surface area.

[0017] For these reasons, a composite sheet with two layers of sheets has been developed (Patent Literature 2).

[0018] This composite sheet is made by overlapping a blanket fabric and a waterproof sheet of the same shape, and then detachably securing the blanket fabric and the waterproof sheet with buttons or other means.

[0019] Therefore, the blanket fabric can be washed whole in a washing machine, etc., and can be reused.

[0020] In this composite sheet, when the blanket fabric on the front side becomes dirty after a certain period of use, the blanket fabric can be detached and washed to remove the dirt.

[0021] However, this is merely a product that can be washed, ex post facto, after it has become dirty.

[0022] The inherent drawback, whereby dirt adhered to the back side is transferred to and adheres to the front side when folded immediately after use, cannot be avoided.Citation ListPatent Literature

[0023] Patent Literature 1: Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. H10-234555 Patent Literature 2: Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. H9-187878 Summary of InventionTechnical Problem

[0024] The present invention has been made in view of the above technical circumstances.

[0025] Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a picnic sheet that, when folded, prevents a front side from becoming dirty, prevents a back side from being exposed outward, and allows for the front side to be cleaned of dirt through washing.Solution to Problems

[0026] The present inventors have conducted extensive studies to solve the above problem and found that by folding the sheet in four, even with a large surface area, the back sides, which may be dirty, face each other when folded, and as a result, no transfer phenomenon occurs, preventing the front side from becoming dirty, and the dirt on the back side is not exposed outward.

[0027] The present invention has been made based on such findings.

[0028] Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a picnic sheet that, when folded, does not result in the front side becoming dirty, prevents any dirt from being exposed outward, can be folded into a compact size, and allows a front sheet to be washed.

[0029] Furthermore, another object of the present invention is to provide a picnic sheet that can be connected to expand its surface area.

[0030] Furthermore, another object of the present invention is to provide a picnic sheet that can be folded and rolled into a compact form, maintained in that state, and easily carried.

[0031] That is, the present invention resides in (1) a picnic sheet A that can be washed and folded into a compact form for easy carrying, comprising: a back sheet 2 which is rectangular and positioned on the ground side; and a front sheet 1 which is detachable from the back sheet 2, is similarly shaped as the back sheet 2, and is positioned on the sitting side, and the picnic sheet A can be folded in four in the longitudinal direction, and when folded, the back sheets 2 face each other, preventing dirt on the back sheet 2 from adhering to the front sheet 1, and the front sheet 1 is exposed to the outer surface.

[0032] The present invention also resides in (2) the picnic sheet A, wherein fastening members F1 for connecting the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 are provided on both lateral edges of the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2.

[0033] The present invention also resides in (3) the picnic sheet A, wherein linear connecting portions for connecting the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2, as well as for connecting to the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 of another picnic sheet A, are provided on both longitudinal edges of the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2.

[0034] The present invention also resides in (4) the picnic sheet A, wherein a cord-attached buckle and a cover portion are provided at the edge of the front sheet 1, and a buckle is attached to the tip of the cover portion, allowing both buckles to be connected while the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 are in a rolled compact state.

[0035] The present invention also resides in (5) the picnic sheet A, wherein the fastening members F1 are snap buttons.

[0036] The present invention also resides in (6) the picnic sheet A wherein the linear connecting portions are fasteners.

[0037] The present invention also resides in (7) the picnic sheet A, wherein the cover portion 1A is provided at an edge of a second section while the front sheet 1 is divided into four sections in the longitudinal direction.

[0038] The present invention also resides in (8) the picnic sheet A, wherein a grip and a shoulder strap are provided at a base portion of the cover portion 1A.Advantageous Effects of Invention

[0039] Since the present invention is (1) the picnic sheet A that can be washed and folded into a compact form for easy carrying, comprising: the back sheet 2 which is rectangular and positioned on the ground side; and the front sheet 1 which is detachable from the back sheet 2, is similarly shaped as the back sheet 2, and is positioned on the sitting side, and the picnic sheet A can be folded in four in the longitudinal direction, and when folded, the back sheets 2 face each other, preventing dirt on the back sheet 2 from adhering to the front sheet 1, and the front sheet 1 is exposed to the outer surface, the dirt on the back sheet 2 does not transfer to the front sheet 1, and the back sheet 2 is oriented inward, preventing it from being exposed outward.

[0040] Furthermore, the front sheet 1 can be detached from the back sheet 2 for washing to remove dirt.

[0041] In the present invention, since (2) fastening members F1 for connecting the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 are provided on both lateral edges of the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2, the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 can be easily detached by simply pulling.

Description of Embodiments

[0050] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings as necessary.

[0051] Note in the drawings that the same components are provided with the same reference numeral and redundant description is omitted.

[0052] In addition, unless otherwise specified, positional relationships such as up, down, left, right will be based on the positional relationships shown in the drawings.

[0053] Furthermore, the dimensional ratios of the drawing are not limited to those shown in the drawings.

[0054] FIG. 1 is a schematic external view of a picnic sheet A according to the present invention.

[0055] Note that, in FIG. 1 through FIG. 8, a buckle 1B, a cord-attached buckle 1C, a grip 1D, and a shoulder strap 1E of a cover portion 1A are omitted.

[0056] Besides, in FIGs. 2, 3, and 6, the vertical direction is shown as a slightly shorter for convenience.

[0057] FIG. 2 shows a front sheet 1 of the picnic sheet A according to the present invention, where (A) is a plan view and (B) is a side view.

[0058] Note that this is a view of the front sheet 1 from its front side.

[0059] FIG. 3 shows a back sheet 2 of the picnic sheet A according to the present invention, where (A) is a plan view and (B) is a side view.

[0060] Note that this is a view of the back sheet 2 from its back side.

[0061] The picnic sheet A of the present invention is primarily provided with a back sheet 2 and a front sheet 1, with the back sheet 2 positioned on the ground side and the front sheet 1 positioned on the seating side.

[0062] In terms of shape, the back sheet 2 and the front sheet 1 are both of the same rectangular form and are composed of sheets having flexibility.

[0063] Furthermore, the back sheet 2 and the front sheet 1 are detachable from each other.

[0064] Specifically, the back sheet 2 is provided with a plurality of fastening members F1 spaced apart along both edges of its shorter sides (in the lateral direction), and correspondingly, the front sheet 1 is also provided with a plurality of fastening members F1 spaced apart along both edges of its shorter sides.

[0065] Thus, by releasing each fastening member F1, the front sheet 1 can be detached from the back sheet 2, allowing the front sheet 1 to be washed separately.

[0066] Note that as the fastening members F1, snap buttons are preferably used, where one side can be convex and the other concave.

[0067] As will be described later, the back sheet 2 and the front sheet 1 are configured such that both edges along their longer sides can be interconnected by linear connecting portions.

[0068] Meanwhile, it is preferable that the front sheet 1 is provided with decorative patterns for enhanced aesthetic appeal.

[0069] When the picnic sheet A is laid on the ground, the front sheet 1 will be positioned on top, allowing the decorative patterns to be enjoyed.

[0070] In addition, if the user becomes tired of the pattern, it can be easily replaced with a new decorative design, offering a high degree of variation.

[0071] In the picnic sheet A of the present invention, the back sheet 2 is formed by a first back sheet material 21, which consists of aluminum foil-laminated foam polyurethane 21B with an aluminum foil layer 21A affixed, and a second back sheet material 22, which consists of acrylic-coated polyester taffeta (see FIG. 3).

[0072] The first back sheet material 21 and the second back sheet material 22 are integrated by sewing their peripheral edges together using bias tape.

[0073] The first back sheet material 21 provides excellent thermal insulation and cushioning properties, and commercially available products are typically used.

[0074] The second back sheet material 22 is a polyester taffeta with a coating applied, providing waterproof properties.

[0075] Additionally, by being layered with the first back sheet material 21, it also contributes to reinforcing the first back sheet material 21.

[0076] Notably, since the first back sheet material 21 contains foam polyurethane 21B, it may rupture when subjected to heavy loads, which is prevented by the second back sheet material 22.(Folding)

[0077] One notable feature of the picnic sheet A is that it can be folded in four along the longitudinal direction.

[0078] As described later, when folded, the back sheets 2 face each other, preventing dirt from the back sheet 2 from transferring onto the front sheet 1.

[0079] Additionally, while the back sheet 2 is wrapped inward, the front sheet 1 remains exposed on the outer side.(Expansion by Connection)

[0080] The picnic sheet A of the present invention has the advantage of being able to expand its surface area by sequentially connecting additional front sheets 1 and back sheets 2.

[0081] FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing how to connect the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 of the picnic sheet A according to the present invention, where (A) shows the state before connection and (B) shows the state after connection.

[0082] Linear connecting portions F2 are provided along both edges of the long sides, which are the vertical edges of the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2.

[0083] Here, as the linear connecting portions F2, a fastener (commercially available) equipped with so-called fastener teeth and a slider S for closing them is used.

[0084] The fastener provided on the edge of the front sheet 1 and the fastener provided on the edge of the back sheet 2 are mutually engaged, thereby connecting the vertical edges of the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2.

[0085] Accordingly, by connecting the vertical edges on both sides of the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2, displacement in the horizontal direction (short side direction) is prevented.

[0086] On the other hand, the fasteners provided on the edges of the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 also contribute to connecting other picnic sheets A.

[0087] FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram showing how to connect the picnic sheet A according to the present invention and another picnic sheet A, where (A) shows the state before connection and (B) shows the state after connection.

[0088] Here, the fastener provided on the edge of the front sheet 1 is engaged with the fastener provided on the edge of the front sheet 1 of another picnic sheet A.

[0089] Similarly, the fastener provided on the edge of the back sheet 2 is engaged with the fastener provided on the edge of the back sheet 2 of another picnic sheet A.

[0090] Through such connections, the front sheets 1 and back sheets 2 of the two picnic sheets A are interconnected, thereby doubling the surface area.

[0091] By repeating this process, the picnic sheets A are sequentially connected and expanded along the long side.

[0092] In the case where the picnic sheet A is divided into four sections in the vertical direction, the folded unit sections are designated as the first section A1, the second section A2 adjacent to the first section, the third section A3 adjacent to the second section, and the fourth section A4 adjacent to the third section.

[0093] The cover portion 1A is provided on the edge of the second section A2, which is the second section from the end when divided into four sections (A1 to A4) in the vertical direction.

[0094] As will be described later, the installation position of this cover portion 1A is the lowest position when folded in four (see FIG. 7).

[0095] This has the advantage that all of the four-layered sections can be covered by wrapping them inwardly.(Folding Operation)

[0096] FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram showing how to fold the picnic sheet A in four in plane view.

[0097] Note that this is a view of the picnic sheet A from the back sheet side.

[0098] Considering the folding process, let us assume that the picnic sheet A is in an expanded state (A).

[0099] First, the first section A1 is folded over the second section A2, and the fourth section A4 is folded over the third section A3 (B).

[0100] In this state, the two layers are stacked, and the back sheet 2, which is in contact with the ground and dirty, is enclosed and not exposed.

[0101] Next, the third section A3 and the fourth section A4, which are stacked together as a single unit, are placed on top of the first section A1 and the second section A2, which are also stacked together (C).

[0102] Note that in this state, the four layers are stacked, and the second section A2 will be positioned at the bottom of the four-layered sections.

[0103] Since the cover portion 1A extends from the edge of the second section A2, the cover portion 1A is located at the lowest position.

[0104] Thus, the folding operation is completed.

[0105] FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram sequentially showing how to fold the picnic sheet A in four in perspective view.

[0106] Note that this is a view of the picnic sheet A from the back sheet side.

[0107] In FIG. 7, (A) shows the unfolded state, (B) shows the state where two layers are overlapped, and (C) shows the state where four layers are overlapped.

[0108] After this, the next rolling and compacting operation will be performed.(Rolling and Compacting Operation)

[0109] FIG.8 is an explanatory diagram showing how to make the picnic sheet A to be rolled compact state.

[0110] After completing the aforementioned folding operation, let us assume that the picnic sheet A is in a state folded in four (A).

[0111] Now, the picnic sheet A is wrapped towards the cover portion 1A, starting from the edge opposite to the portion where the cover portion 1A is extended. In other words, it is being rolled (B).

[0112] This rolling operation continues up to the base position of the cover portion 1A (C).

[0113] Note that this rolling can also be performed by folding while rolling.(Retention Operation of Rolled Compact State)

[0114] FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram showing how to hold the picnic sheet A in the compact state, where (A) is a front view and (B) is a rear view.

[0115] After completing the aforementioned rolling and compacting operation, the picnic sheet A is wrapped using the cover portion 1A and the cord-attached buckle 1C.

[0116] Specifically, the cord of the cord-attached buckle 1C is tightened around the periphery of the rolled picnic sheet A.

[0117] Then, the cord-attached buckle 1C is fitted into the buckle 1B of the cover portion 1A to secure it.

[0118] This ensures that the picnic sheet A retains its compacted state.

[0119] For reference, FIG. 10 is a photographic diagram showing the picnic sheet A in rolled compact state, and FIG. 11 is a photographic diagram showing the picnic sheet A in unfolded and spread state.

[0120] As mentioned above, through the three operations of "folding operation" in four, subsequent "rolling and compacting operation," and final "retention operation of rolled compact state," the picnic sheet A can be neatly compacted.

[0121] As a result, it becomes extremely easy to carry.

[0122] Additionally, a shoulder strap 1E is provided at the base of the cover portion 1A, allowing the compacted picnic sheet A to be suspended and carried by placing the shoulder strap 1E over the shoulder.

[0123] Furthermore, a grip 1D is also provided at the base of the cover portion 1A, enabling the picnic sheet A to be held and carried by hand.

[0124] Such shoulder strap 1E and grip 1D may be made from materials such as leather, synthetic resin, or fabric.

[0125] Although a preferred embodiment of the present invention is explained above, the invention is not limited to the aforementioned embodiment.

[0126] In the picnic sheet A according to the present embodiment, although the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 are shown as rectangular, square shapes are also possible.

[0127] It is preferable to reinforce the edges of the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2 using materials such as bias polyester tape.

[0128] It is also preferable to provide fastening eyelets at appropriate positions around the perimeter of the picnic sheet A (for example, at the four corners).

[0129] By driving pins or similar fasteners into the eyelets, the picnic sheet A can be secured to the ground.

[0130] Additionally, it is possible to remove some of the snap buttons to place weights (such as stones) between the front sheet 1 and the back sheet 2, utilizing their weight to secure the picnic sheet A in place.Industrial Applicability

[0131] The picnic sheet A according to the present invention is formed by the rectangular back sheet 2 and the front sheet 1 which is detachable from the back sheet 2 and is similarly shaped as the back sheet 2, and the picnic sheet A can be folded in four in the longitudinal direction, and when folded, the back sheets 2 face each other, preventing dirt on the back sheet 2 from adhering to the front sheet 1, and the back sheet 2 remains on the inside, without being exposed to the outside.

[0132] Furthermore, the front sheet 1 can be detached from the back sheet 2 for washing to remove dirt.Reference Signs List
