Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a device for roof-shaped profiling of the surface layer of paths, in particular forest paths.
[0002] When maintaining or constructing paths, such as forest roads, woodland trails or the like, the path surface is usually worked in such a way that slightly inclined areas are created on both sides of the path to assist water drainage. This prevents large amounts of water from accumulating on the path during prolonged rainfall. For this type of profiling, which gives the path to be worked on a roof-like surface, so-called graders are generally used. These have a so-called grader blade that can be adjusted to the path surface, i.e. the surface layer of the path. This grader blade is a type of dozer blade. This cuts into the surface layer and is used to restore or re-profile the surface layer in order to ensure sufficient water drainage from the path.Over the course of use, this profile often changes, which can have adverse consequences for the durability of the paths. Restoring the profile of the path can ensure the durability and longevity of such paths.
[0003] When using previously known devices for profiling paths, the procedure is as follows: first, one side of the path to be worked on is treated with the device's dozer blade (grader blade) in such a way that a first half of the path is created that is slightly inclined toward the edge of the path. The opposite side of the path is then treated in the same way using the dozer blade, ultimately creating a slightly roof-shaped cross-section of the path.
[0004] The main disadvantage of these devices is that profiling a path is cumbersome and time-consuming. As already mentioned above, when profiling a path, a grader must first work on one side of the path and then move to the other side to continue working there. Since the desired shape is usually not achieved immediately, this process often has to be repeated several times, which is time-consuming.
[0005] The present invention is based on the object of overcoming the disadvantages of the prior art devices. In particular, the invention is based on the object of enabling the quick and simple profiling of paths, in particular forest paths or forest trails.
[0006] This object is achieved according to the invention by a device having the features of claim 1. The device according to the invention comprises a combination of three leveling blades, wherein a central leveling blade and two pivotably mounted lateral leveling blades are provided. Due to the pivotability of the lateral leveling blades, they can be positioned in such a way that they can be used to create opposing path surfaces with a desired incline. The great advantage of the device according to the invention is that a fully profiled path can generally be created in a single operation. For this purpose, the device according to the invention only needs to be pushed or pulled over the path to be worked once, so that the leveling blades penetrate the surface layer of the path to be worked with their soil working edges and create the desired profile.
[0007] In a preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the lateral dozer blades are pivotable, preferably each pivotable about a substantially horizontal axis, on the central dozer blade, particularly in the area of the two ends of the central dozer blade. This embodiment ideally enables the creation of a roof-shaped profile for a path, with the top of the path roof being rounded or slightly flattened. Depending on the width of the central dozer blade selected and the distance between the lateral dozer blades and the two ends of the central dozer blade, paths with "roof peaks" of varying widths can be created.
[0008] Advantageously, the side dozer blades can be pivoted 360°. This allows the side dozer blades to be pivoted, for example, so that they are positioned vertically upwards to the ground. In this position, the device, which is usually mounted on a vehicle, can be optimally transported when not in use without the risk of damaging the side dozer blades.
[0009] In a preferred embodiment of the device according to the invention, the lateral dozer blades can be pivoted and preferably fixed in a desired position using actuating means, preferably hydraulic and / or pneumatic cylinders. Pivoting with such actuating means is extremely efficient and simple in design. For example, hydraulic and / or pneumatic circuits of a towing vehicle can be used. Fixing the lateral dozer blades in position using such actuating means when the device is in use is particularly advantageous. Thus, a desired pivoting of the lateral dozer blades can first be set and fixed, in which the soil-working edges of the lateral dozer blades are positioned in the desired manner against the soil-working edge of the central dozer blade. The device can then be pulled or pushed over the soil to work it, which is usually done using a motor-driven vehicle.
[0010] The dozer blades can be pivoted using slewing rings.
[0011] As a rule, the dozer blades have straight tillage edges. This ensures the evenness of the tilled soil surfaces, thus ensuring the best possible water drainage.
[0012] The dozer blades are advantageously made of steel. This hard material allows for optimal soil cultivation. Steel is also characterized by high resilience and durability.
[0013] A preferred embodiment of the invention is characterized by a device for coupling the device to a vehicle, such as an excavator, a grader, or the like, wherein the device is preferably arranged on the central dozer blade. Such a device allows the device according to the invention to be quickly and easily coupled to a towing or pushing vehicle. One possible embodiment is illustrated in the figures.
[0014] The device according to the invention is advantageously designed to be rotatable, in particular rotatable through 360°. The device is preferably coupled to a turntable, in particular a turntable in combination with a tilt motor. This turntable and / or tilt motor is preferably connected to the device for coupling the device to a vehicle. This rotatability of the entire device makes it possible, for example, to pivot the device through 90° in order to easily transport the device when not in use.
[0015] The present invention further relates to a vehicle, in particular an excavator, a grader or the like, comprising a device according to one of claims 1 to 8.
[0016] Further features of the invention will become apparent from the following description of preferred embodiments of the invention in conjunction with the drawings and the subclaims. The individual features may be implemented individually or in combination with one another.
[0017] The drawings show: Figure 1 is a front view of a device according to the invention; Figure 2 is a plan view of the device according to Figure 1 ; Figures 3 to 5 are perspective views of the device according to Figure 1 and Figure 6 shows a cross section through a forest path treated with the device according to the invention.
[0018] In the following, identical or functionally equivalent elements are marked with the same reference symbols.
[0019] The Figures 1 to 5The device 1 shown comprises a central dozer blade 2 and two lateral dozer blades 3a and 3b pivotably mounted on the central dozer blade 2. The central dozer blade 2 has a straight soil working edge 4. The lateral dozer blades 3a and 3b also each have a straight soil working edge 5a, 5b. The lateral dozer blades 3a and 3b are each pivotably mounted on the central dozer blade 2 about a horizontal axis 6. In the present embodiment, the lateral dozer blades 3a and 3b are arranged at the two end regions of the central dozer blade 2. This, as well as the pivotability of the lateral dozer blades 3a and 3b about the horizontal axes 6, is particularly the Figure 1 easy to remove.
[0020] The side dozer blades 3a and 3b of the device 1 can each be pivoted by 360°. In the present embodiment, the side dozer blades 3a and 3b are pivotable by means of hydraulic cylinders (not shown here), which are an integral part of a towing vehicle according to the invention (not shown here). These hydraulic cylinders are articulated to levers arranged on the two upper edges of the side dozer blades 3a and 3b.
[0021] On the rear side 7 of the central dozer blade 2, a device 8 for coupling the device 1 to a vehicle is arranged. The device 8 comprises two parallel coupling plates 9, each of which has fastening hooks 10 for attaching the device 8 to a towing vehicle. The coupling plates 9 are connected to each other via a connecting plate 11.
[0022] When cultivating and profiling a path with the device 1 according to the invention, the following procedure is followed. First, depending on the desired inclination that the path is to have on both sides, a desired angle α is set between the soil processing edges 5a, 5b and the soil processing edge 4. As shown, for example, in the Figure 1As can be clearly seen, this angle α is an obtuse angle. If such angles α are set between the aforementioned edges by pivoting the lateral leveling blades 3a and 3b, the set position of the leveling blades 3a and 3b is fixed by means of the aforementioned hydraulic cylinders. The device 1 is then pulled over the soil to be worked by a towing vehicle, with the device 1 being positioned such that the soil working edges 4, 5a and 5b penetrate into the surface layer of the soil to be worked. As the towing vehicle moves, loose path material is removed, ultimately creating a path with a roof-shaped profile.
[0023] Figure 6 shows a cross-section through a finished base 12. The base 12 has two laterally sloping base surfaces 13a and 13b. The tip 14 of the base 12 is slightly rounded.
