Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates, according to the preamble of claim 1, to a pergola, canopy or conservatory device with a shading device which is framed by cross beams and at least two support posts, wherein at least one vertical awning is provided with a winding shaft and a curtain which can be wound up thereon and which is guided in lateral guide rails which are integrated into the corresponding support posts or attached to them, wherein the winding shaft is mounted on bearing elements which are held in movable guides which enable a displacement of the winding shaft in the direction of at least one support surface, and the curtain rests on this at least one support surface which extends over a certain length or is designed to be continuous over a large part or the entire width of the curtain.
[0002] Such devices are known, for example, from DE 10 2006 059470 A1 or EP 3 392 446 A1. The vertical awnings are provided as attachments to the crossbeams or are integrated into them. Both variants have the disadvantage that structural provisions must be made on the crossbeams to accommodate the vertical awning housing or to support the winding shaft on the side panels. Aligning the curtain to the guide rails can also be difficult, with so-called ZIP systems, with positively guided curtains under pre-tension, in particular, leading to installation difficulties.
[0003] The object of the present invention is to improve a pergola, canopy or conservatory device in such a way that the above problems are eliminated.
[0004] According to the invention, the object is achieved by a pergola, canopy or conservatory device of the type mentioned at the outset, in which the movable guides are formed on two lateral brackets which are only connected to the supporting posts.
[0005] The inventive solution offers the advantage that the alignment of the roller shaft blind to the guide rails is particularly easy. This was achieved by detaching the vertical awnings, along with their brackets that enable the floating mounting of the roller shaft, from a housing or cross member and integrating them into the support posts. Any installation inaccuracies can then be compensated for by the floating mounting of the roller shaft, while these can no longer occur between the guide rails and the blind, especially in the transverse direction.
[0006] In a possible embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the movable guides are each formed by a pivoting lever on the consoles to which the bearing elements are fixed.
[0007] In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the movable guides are formed by guide grooves in which the bearing elements are slidably guided.
[0008] With the help of the guide grooves, various movement paths of the bearing elements can be realized. However, it is particularly preferred that the guide grooves be linear. In a preferred embodiment, the guide grooves are inclined relative to the vertical. The guide path of the guide grooves can run perpendicular to the support surface, which can be concave or flat.
[0009] For example, the inclination to the vertical can be designed in such a way that the distance of the guide grooves from the vertical plane of the extended curtain is greater at its lower end of the adjustment path than at its upper end of the adjustment path.
[0010] In a further embodiment of the invention, the adjustment path of the guide elements in the guide grooves can be limited by their length or by limiting elements in the longitudinal guide groove. In principle, the movement path can also be achieved solely by the wound-up curtain being placed on the support surface, whereby a removable limiter can also be designed, for example, purely as a transport lock so that the bearing elements cannot get out of the guide grooves. In this case, their position does not necessarily have to be at the end of the possible guide path, because such a pure transport lock can of course also lock the bearing elements firmly to the brackets. However, it is also possible to insert the bearing elements into the guide grooves only after the brackets have been mounted on the posts.
[0011] In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, stops for an end profile, which is attached to the free end of the curtain, are provided on the brackets. The stops define the upper end position of the end profile and can be particularly well adjusted to the curtain position and the position of the guide rails.
[0012] In yet another preferred embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the support surface is formed on a support element which is connected to the brackets or a cross member in the region of the winding shaft.
[0013] The inventive solution is particularly suitable for a configuration in which the vertical awning and the guide rails are designed as a so-called ZIP guide, in which spring elements are provided between the guide rails and an inlay in which guide elements attached to the sides of the curtain are guided in a form-fitting manner, so that a lateral pre-tension acts on the curtain when the curtain is extended. These systems are particularly sensitive with regard to the alignment of the curtain relative to the guide rails, so that the combination with the inventive solution is particularly advantageous.
[0014] The arrangement of the cross member relative to the winding shaft of the vertical awning is preferably achieved in such a way that the cross member surrounds the winding shaft in an L- or U-shape in the area of the winding shaft. In this case, the cross member, which is structurally separate from the awning, can assume the protective function of a non-existent housing. A preferred development can provide for the front of the cross member to be closed by a removable inspection panel to simplify access during installation and for inspection purposes.
[0015] Further features, details, and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the wording of the claims and from the exemplary embodiment described below with reference to the drawings. They show: Fig. 1 a perspective view of a pergola structure; Fig. 2 a perspective detailed view of a corner area of the pergola device according to Fig. 1with partially removed cladding elements; Fig. 3 a frontal view of the detail area Fig. 2 ; Fig. 4 a partial view of a vertical awning for integration into the pergola device according to Fig. 1 to 3 ; Fig. 5 a longitudinal section of the pergola device in the plane of a console of the vertical awning.
[0016] Fig. 1 shows a pergola device 10 for shading open spaces, such as a terrace. The basic structure of the pergola device 10 in the Fig. 1The configuration shown provides four support posts 12 that mark the corners of the pergola and are connected to each other by four crossbeams 14. The crossbeams frame a shading device 16, which here is formed by a louvered roof. Other types of shading can also be provided. Such a pergola can also be designed like a veranda roof with only two support posts, which is supported on one side against a wall or wall.
[0017] A vertical awning 18 is provided between support posts 12, the curtain 20 of which is guided in guide rails 22 that are attached to the sides of the posts 12 or integrated into them. The free end of the curtain 20 is defined by an end rail 24, which is also guided in the lateral guide rails 22, possibly in a special additional guide cross-section. In principle, such vertical awnings 18 can be provided on all sides of the pergola structure, provided that shading or privacy protection is desired there.
[0018] The curtain guide is designed according to the so-called ZIP principle, in which, similar to a zipper, form-fitting guide elements (not shown) attached to the side of the curtain are guided in an undercut guide cross-section. The undercut guide cross-section is formed in an inlay 23, which tightens the curtain 20 outward under elastic tension. The tension is created by elastic elements between the guide rails 22 and the inlays. However, the curtain 20 can also be guided in a different way.
[0019] In Fig. 2 and 3With the cladding removed, the structure of the pergola device 10 is clearly visible in the corner area. Corner connectors 25 are arranged and secured on the upper sides of the support posts 12. The crossbeams 14, which form the frame structure of the pergola device, are attached to these. The vertical awning 18 is attached directly to the support posts 12, independent of the crossbeams 14, as shown in Fig. 4 and 5 is illustrated in more detail.
[0020] The vertical awning essentially consists of a winding shaft 26, which is rotatably mounted in lateral bearing elements 28. The aforementioned curtain 20 of the vertical awning 18 is wound onto the winding shaft 26, with the end profile 22 attached to its free end.
[0021] The bearing elements 28 are each designed as sliding elements that are slidably guided in longitudinal guide grooves 30 in lateral brackets 32. This guide rail is inclined to the vertical in such a way that the longitudinal guide grooves 30 move downwards away from the plane of the extended curtain 20. End stops (not shown) can be provided that limit the displacement of the sliding elements in the longitudinal guide grooves towards the open end. These can serve as a loss protection. In the installed position, stops are generally not required, since the displacement of the winding shaft is limited by the fact that the outer circumference of the wound-up curtain rests on a support surface that can be arranged below the winding shaft on the brackets or the cross member.
[0022] The brackets 32 are screwed to support elements 34, in another way, or are formed integrally with them. The support elements 34 have downward-facing projections 36, which, when assembled, are inserted into a hollow chamber 38 in the support post 12 (see Fig. 5 ) and thus anchor the brackets precisely relative to the guide rails also arranged on the post. A retaining plate 40 is screwed into the inserted section of the projection 36, forming a double T-shaped cross-section with the projection 36 to further improve the hold in the correspondingly shaped insertion cross-section of the hollow chamber in the support post. The support elements 34 can also be formed integrally with the projections 36.
[0023] Double-sided clamp elements 42 are also attached to the projections 36, which overlap the curtain 20 on both sides. The distance between the two clamp ends is smaller than the thickness of the end profile 22, so that the clamp elements 42 overlap the top of the end profile 22 and form an end stop that defines the retracted end position of the curtain. This position is also illustrated in the figures.
[0024] The Fig. 5 The longitudinal section shown through a support post 12 with a cross member 14 attached and a vertical awning 18 inserted illustrates the independent attachment of the vertical awning 18 and the cross member 14 to the support post 12. The section runs through a hollow chamber 44 which accommodates the holding plate 40.
[0025] Clearly visible is the structural separation of profile 46 of cross member 14, which is screwed into corresponding chambers in the support post by means of fastening screws 48. The profile borders the projection 36 of the support element 34, but is not connected to it. In addition to a support area 48 for resting on the upper end of the support post 12, profile 46 has a groove-like rear area 50 that can be used for drainage pinches, a rear wall 52, and two projections 54, 56 between which a receiving space 58 for the winding shaft is formed. The receiving space 58 is closed off by a removable panel 60 as a cladding, while above the receiving space 58 there is another vertical panel 62, which in turn is adjoined by a horizontal panel 64 that defines the rectangular outer cross-sectional shape of the cross member 14.
[0026] The invention is not limited to one of the embodiments described above, but can be modified in many ways.
[0027] All features and advantages arising from the claims and the description, including design details, spatial arrangements and method steps, can be essential to the invention both individually and in a wide variety of combinations. List of reference symbols
