Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a finger protection device for a swing door according to claim 1.

[0002] From WO 2023 / 089189 A1 a hinge-side finger protection device for a hinged door is known, in which a protective profile is fastened between two door hinges or between a door hinge and a stop device.

[0003] In contrast, the present invention is based on the object of creating a simple finger protection device on a revolving door and a revolving door with such a finger protection device.

[0004] This object is achieved by a finger protection device according to claim 1 and by a swing door according to claim 6. Embodiments of the invention are specified in the dependent claims.

[0005] The finger protection device comprises a first protective means and a second protective means. The first and second protective means can each be attached directly to the hinges of the swing door and, when attached directly to the hinges, are designed to cover a gap between a door leaf of the swing door and a door frame of the swing door.

[0006] In the context of this description, a finger protection device is understood to mean, in particular, a device which is suitable for covering the hinge-side gap between the door leaf and the door frame when the door leaf is open in such a way that a human finger, in particular the finger of a child, cannot be inserted into the gap.

[0007] The direct attachment of the protective devices to the door hinges is particularly advantageous for particularly easy installation of the finger guard. Since the protective devices are already designed for direct attachment, there is no need to adjust them to the door hinges. Furthermore, no additional components are required for attachment.

[0008] Because it's directly attached to the door hinges, the finger guard can be removed from the door hinges without the need for any additional fasteners. The finger guard can therefore be attached directly to the door hinges using only the protective devices.

[0009] According to one embodiment of the invention, the first and second protective means can each be formed as a single piece and / or in one piece. This further simplifies the assembly of the finger protection device.

[0010] According to one embodiment of the invention, the first and second protective means can be fastened directly to the door hinges in a form-fitting manner. For example, the first and second protective means can be designed to be clipped onto the door hinges. This can mean, for example, that the protective means are elastically deformable and are designed to be elastically deformed when directly attached to the door hinges. The protective means can also be designed for a clamp connection to the door hinges.

[0011] The positive fastening is advantageous because it is particularly easy to manufacture and is safe, as the protective devices are adapted to the shape of the door hinges.

[0012] According to one embodiment of the invention, the protective means can each be designed as a profile. This is particularly advantageous for simple attachment while simultaneously reliably covering the gap between the door leaf and the door frame.

[0013] According to one embodiment of the invention, the protective means can each comprise a first and a second adapter. The first adapters can each be designed for attachment to a first type of door hinge. The second adapters can each be designed for attachment to a second type of door hinge.

[0014] The adapters are particularly advantageous for attaching the finger protection device to differently shaped door hinges. Since the protection devices are designed for direct attachment to the door hinges, they can preferably be adapted to the shape of the door hinges. Since the shapes of door hinges vary depending on the manufacturer, the adapters can be used to attach the protection devices to different door hinges.

[0015] The swing door according to claim 6 comprises a door leaf, a door frame, door hinges, and a finger protection device according to one embodiment of the invention. The door leaf is pivotally mounted on the door frame via the door hinges. The protection devices are attached directly to the door hinges, preferably with a positive fit.

[0016] According to one embodiment of the invention, the door hinges can be mounted on the door leaf and the door frame. In the context of this description, this particularly means that the door hinges are mounted on a flat surface and are therefore not located within a recess in the door leaf or door frame. For example, the door leaf and door frame can be free of recesses or cutouts in which the door hinges are located.

[0017] According to one embodiment of the invention, the door leaf can be converted from an open state to a closed state by a pivoting movement relative to the door frame. The pivoting movement can occur, in particular, about a pivot axis defined by the door hinges. The protective means can be designed to cover the gap between the door leaf and the door frame in the open state and during the transfer of the door leaf. This can mean, for example, that the protective means are arranged in such a way that the insertion of a human finger into the gap is prevented.

[0018] According to one embodiment of the invention, the door hinges can each comprise a leaf part and a frame part. The leaf parts can be fixed to the door leaf. The frame parts can be fixed to the door frame. The first protective means can be attached directly, for example, in a form-fitting manner, to the leaf parts, and the second protective means can be attached directly, for example, in a form-fitting manner, to the frame parts. In the context of this description, "fixing" is understood in particular to mean that the elements fixed to one another do not move relative to one another during the pivoting movement of the door leaf.

[0019] According to one embodiment of the invention, the second protective means can have recesses in which a projection of the first protective means and / or a portion of the wing part is or is arranged. The projection can be arranged completely or only partially in the respective recess.

[0020] According to one embodiment of the invention, the second protective means can have a first end section and a second end section. The first end section and the second end section can be aligned parallel to each other. The recesses can be arranged in the first end section. The second end section can rest against the door frame. This is particularly advantageous for reliably covering the gap.

[0021] According to one embodiment of the invention, the first protective means can have a third end section and a fourth end section. The projections can protrude from the third end section. The third end section and the fourth end section can be aligned parallel to each other. The fourth end section can rest against the door leaf. This is also advantageous for particularly reliable covering of the gap.

[0022] According to one embodiment of the invention, the third end section and the first end section can be aligned parallel to each other. This achieves particularly reliable coverage of the gap.

[0023] In the context of this description, an end section is understood to mean in particular a section which comprises a closure of the respective protective device.

[0024] Further features and advantages of embodiments of the invention are described below with reference to the drawings. The same reference numerals are used for identical or similar parts and for parts with identical or similar functions. They show: Fig. 1 a schematic plan view of a part of a swing door with attached door hinges; Fig. 2 a schematic side view of the swing door from Fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 a schematic perspective view of the swing door from Fig. 1 ; Fig. 4 a schematic plan view of a finger protection device according to an embodiment of the invention; Fig. 5 a schematic perspective view of the finger protection device from Fig. 4 ; Fig. 6 a schematic plan view of a part of the swing door from Fig. 1 with finger protection device attached directly to the door hinges Fig. 5 ; Fig. 7 a schematic side view of the swing door from Fig. 6 ; and Fig. 8 a schematic perspective view of the swing door from Fig. 6 .

[0025] It is not necessary for a device according to the invention to have all of the features described below. It is also possible for a device according to the invention to have only individual features of the exemplary embodiments described below.

[0026] The swing door comprises a door leaf 100, a door frame 101, and door hinges, each with a leaf part 102 and a frame part 103. The leaf part 102 is mounted on the door leaf 100 and pivotally connected to the frame part 103. The frame part 103 is mounted on the door frame 101. Both the door leaf 100 and the door frame 101 are thus free of recesses or indentations for the door hinges.

[0027] A pivot axis of the door leaf 100 is defined by the door hinges. The door leaf 100 can be opened and closed by pivoting the door leaf 100 about the pivot axis. At least during part of the pivoting movement and in the open state, a gap exists between the door leaf 100 and the door frame 101. A first protective means 400 and a second protective means 401 are used to cover this gap.

[0028] The first protective device 400 is positively attached directly to the sash part 102. The second protective device 401 is positively attached directly to the frame part 103. The first protective device 400 and the second protective device 401 cover the gap so that a human finger cannot be inserted into the gap.

[0029] The second protective means 401 has a first end section in which recesses 501 are arranged. A second end section, running parallel to the first end section, rests against the door frame 101. The first protective means 400 has a third end section from which projections 500 protrude. A fourth end section of the first protective means 400 runs parallel to the third end section and rests against the door leaf 100. The first protective means 400 is directly fastened to the leaf parts 102 with the projections 500 in a form-fitting manner.
